About: I’m based in the Forest of Dean and love making the most of the beautiful local woodland and countryside for walks. I’m also fortunate to have dog-friendly fields directly opposite my home, which are ideal for exercise, play and enrichment. I genuinely love dogs and would care for yours with the same patience, kindness and attention I would give my own. I’ve grown up around dogs and have always had a natural affinity with them. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and temperaments, including Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Labradors, Bullmastiffs and Cane Corsos. I’m therefore very comfortable and confident around large and giant breeds as well as smaller dogs. I’ve also had both male and female working Springer Spaniels, so I’m very familiar with energetic, intelligent dogs who need plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m happy to follow their usual routine, whether that involves long woodland walks, playtime in the fields, feeding, enrichment, reinforcing their usual training or simply plenty of company and affection. I also have experience caring for dogs with ongoing health needs. One of my own Springer Spaniels experienced seizures and gastrointestinal problems, so I’m familiar with monitoring a dog’s wellbeing, following specific care routines and giving regular medication as directed. I understand how important consistency, observation and good communication with owners are when looking after a dog with additional needs. Above all, dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I want owners to feel completely comfortable knowing their dog is being cared for by someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with them and will get to know their individual routine, personality and preferences. I currently work part-time, and I live with my retired mum, so there is usually someone at home all day to keep your dog company. I also occasionally care for my sister’s Bullmastiff cross while she works, so having another dog as part of our daily routine is very familiar to us. Living in the Forest of Dean means we’re surrounded by fantastic places to walk. There are dog-friendly fields directly opposite my home, as well as plenty of woodland trails and lakes and ponds nearby for dogs who enjoy a swim. I’m happy to adapt exercise to your dog’s usual routine, whether they prefer gentle walks, longer adventures or plenty of play and enrichment. I’ve previously trained my own working dogs, so if your dog is already familiar with dummies, retrieving or whistle commands, I’d be very happy to continue this with them too. I have a fully enclosed garden with direct access from our family kitchen-diner, where I spend most of my time when I’m at home. Dogs are welcome throughout the downstairs of the house and can settle wherever they feel most comfortable. I occasionally care for my sister’s Bullmastiff cross, who is an exceptionally gentle and sociable dog and is very accustomed to being around other dogs. Despite confident with her temperament, I would always make sure introductions are appropriate if they were to meet. I want dogs staying with me to feel as comfortable and settled as possible, so I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, walking, sleeping, medication and training routines. I’m also experienced with energetic and working breeds and understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

About: I have always had contact with dogs, cats and hamsters ...as a child and as a dog owner for 12 years, previously my family over the years owned Yorkies, Poodles,West Highland Terriers, Germany shepherds. Charlie My Cavashon passed away at the age of 12 years, unexpectedly, his doggy companion Tea Cup Yorkie Daisy misses him desperately, she is 14 years. Charlie was a well behaved dog well traveled too and would go everywhere with me and my partner as does Daisy. Charlie was raised from a puppy and attended training classes, he was devoted to me as I was to him. If a cafe, restaurant,garden centre isn't dog friendly we wouldn't visit. I currently work part time and do some volunteering at the dog trust. I have the time to walk your dog, and if they are good travellers in the car I would take your dog on some lovely walks. My home is their home I have a large fenced safe garden lots of grass, there is a furbaby female teacup yorkie who is 14 years. she would love some company. I don't have a crate.

About: Hi, my name is Alix. I am 24 years old and live in a ground floor flat in matson, Gloucester. I have 2 children, 3&5 years old. I also have 4 cats who have been the first encounter for many dogs which I am happy to do with the owner here if your dog hasn’t been around cats before. I also understand that sometimes dogs and cats aren’t the best of friends so I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. I unfortunately don’t currently drive so you would need to bring your pooch to me. Caring for dogs is a passion for me. I took a break from dog boarding for a while but now on the hunt to make more doggy friends and help out owners! I have been dog boarding for 3 years now and cared for dogs of all ages. My children are used to dogs & my partner has 2 Staffordshire bull terriers at his mum’s who my children see regularly. I also have a jack russel and a jug at my mum’s who I absolutely adore and grew up with. I have my own fenced garden and will definitely take your pooch on walks at our local field! Monday & friday I do school pick up and drop off, however if your dog isn’t very good with being alone I can bring them along or I can find someone else to take my daughter to school on the odd occasion if need be of the 2 days I usually do and I will stay home to ensure your dog isn’t left alone. As long as i have notice i can ensure we’re home all day if need be for your dogs anxiety I am in a ground floor flat, I have my own fenced garden and a field nearby which dogs absolutely love to go and have a run around. I keep dogs on lead for safety. Dogs will be welcome to come on the furniture and sleep in the bed unless the owner requests otherwise.

About: I have had dogs all of my life, all different shapes, sizes and personalities. I have had my current love (dog) for eight years, he is a Spanish rescue dog, a small jack Russell terrier, that I adore and he goes every where with me. Your dog will have good company as he is used to mixing with all dogs and is very calm. My dog has medication twice a day and veterinary food, so im happy to have dogs that need this also. I go on lovely long walks in the country every day as my flat is on the cotswolds way. Although it is classed as a flat it has its own entrance and lovely private garden. I am not currently working and so have plenty of flexible time. Caring for dogs has got be the most rewarding experience out there! Your dog will be safe and happy in my home. I walk my own dog first thing in the morning and then again around lunch time and after dinner. I have a pet friendly property with a lovely fenced garden. I am a keen walker and when not snuggled up with my dog I'm usually out walking across open fields with him. My garden has a gravel floor so its ideal for toilet breaks in-between walks if tour dog needs this additionally.

About: I have many years of experience with dogs of all sizes especially bigger dogs, I currently own a Lurcher who is a massive bundle of energy! I have grown up with many cats through out my life of various breeds I currently work from home and attends university in Cheltenham so I am free most days to look after your pets in the best possible way I have a large garden that is fenced in and live a short walk away from crop fields and Standish woods so your dogs can run all they want
