7. Josh M.
“Really wonderful experience - would 100% recommend Josh. I have a young Weimaraner who is nervous meeting strangers in the house and can be reactive. Josh arrived at our house with treats and ready to begin bonding with Grace, taking it at her own pace to build trust. I was very impressed with how Josh tailored the session / walk to meet Grace’s needs and his eagerness to find the route cause of her issues to find a long-term solution. Josh is very knowledgable of dog behaviour and is very experienced. Josh first bonded with Grace and then took her for a walk and came back to the house to continue training. Josh is passionate and knowledgable about dog behaviour, training and animal welfare also giving us personal advice to advance Grace’s training. Josh is friendly, has good communication and I would strongly recommend him.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for almost 30 years. I grew up with various terriers and sheep dogs. I often look after pets of family members and friends when they go on holiday. I plan to dog sit and dog walk full time in addition to caring for my under 5 child. I am at home during the week so am able to get in long walks. I have a large house and fenced garden. 18. Ethan R.
About: I've been around big dogs since I was born, raised by German Shepherds and learnt the basics with a Bernese Mountain and a Lab cross. I am learning to become a dog trainer and behaviourist, studying animal behaviour at University and having previously completed a 2 day dog trainer course. For 8 years, I have assisted a local family run dog business with walks and home boarding when I was able to help. I currently work part time on Friday and the weekend so walks and day time house sitting are available during weekdays and overnight sits can be doable over the weekend so long as its not that far from my job. For walks, I keep a bag of all the dog walking essentials in my car, as well as a cage that will fit any dog up to a German Shepherd comfortably. All dogs will either be on a short lead or a trailing long line until we have a strong enough knowledge of eachother that allows them free off lead. As for house boarding, all food consumed will be bought by myself, I will clean up where I've been (and if your dog decides to mud paint you kitchen). For overnight stays, I am very comfortable sleeping on the sofa, requiring no need for going in bedrooms
19. Carrie T.
“Carrie was an amazing sitter! She did really well with my Cane Corso as he can be very temperamental, I would definitely hire her again. She showed real promise for this career and is highly trained!”
20. Daisy M.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I've walked fed and bathed my dog frequently and have also taken care of family's dogs in their homes. Pet care fits into my schedule around my day job. I work in a shop at the moment so my hours are not always the same. However I will try my best to work around whatever works best for you. If I care for pets I would prefer to do it in the owners home as they may not get on with my own pets
