I’ve regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I understand how important it is to know your beloved pet is safe, happy and well cared for when you’re not there. I work full-time as a teacher, leaving home at around 8am and arriving back home at approximately 3:30pm. However, your dog won’t be left alone all day. My husband is able to come home during his break to let the dogs outside, give them some attention and play with them for around half an hour before heading back to work. My eldest daughter is also often home before me, so there is usually someone around to provide company and reassurance. Once I’m home, your dog will be part of our family routine, with plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles and access to our secure garden. I’m also available for boarding at weekends and during school holidays, when I’m home much more and can give your dog lots of love and company throughout the day. About: I have 4 little yorkies at home, I also help my family with pet sitting when needed. My dogs are very friendly, loud at first but they calm down eventually, we have few dogs coming to my house and some stay for sleepover as I also use my little boy as stud so my dogs are used to other dogs and my children are pet lovers too. They always want every dog to stay in our house forever. I decided to make my service official as I know how hard it is when you want to go for a holiday and you need to leave your hairy babies behind. I have had dogs all my life and also other pets. About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.

About: Hi everybody! I’ve had my Cavapoo Rolo for 4 years now and the time has completely flown by! Over the years i’ve walked him 3x everyday and have taught him so many skills and we will be entering our first competition in 2026! Over the past year i have also took on caring for my grandmothers golden Labrador as she’s unable to provide walks etc, however still loves him and his company to pieces so i am honoured to be able to keep them together! I’m currently working part time from Fridays through till Sundays so have plenty of quality time and care for your pets. i’m quite an active person in my personal life, so depending on your pets needs, if they need a 2 hour walk or as little as 30 minutes neither will be a challenge. I have a fenced garden and have cctv surrounding the back garden to view. i also have a box for all post etc to not scare or aggravate pets.

About: I have always had contact with dogs, cats and hamsters ...as a child and as a dog owner for 12 years, previously my family over the years owned Yorkies, Poodles,West Highland Terriers, Germany shepherds. Charlie My Cavashon passed away at the age of 12 years, unexpectedly, his doggy companion Tea Cup Yorkie Daisy misses him desperately, she is 14 years. Charlie was a well behaved dog well traveled too and would go everywhere with me and my partner as does Daisy. Charlie was raised from a puppy and attended training classes, he was devoted to me as I was to him. If a cafe, restaurant,garden centre isn't dog friendly we wouldn't visit. I currently work part time and do some volunteering at the dog trust. I have the time to walk your dog, and if they are good travellers in the car I would take your dog on some lovely walks. My home is their home I have a large fenced safe garden lots of grass, there is a furbaby female teacup yorkie who is 14 years. she would love some company. I don't have a crate.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. As a child I had a collie growing up and then while bringing my young children up we had hamsters, cats and fish. Recently the family cat passed away so it’s strange having no furry companion in the home when I’ve had it my whole life. I retired early at the age of 55, so now I spend my time in the gym, spending time with my 1yr and a half grand daughter or with my sons labradoodle and cat who I look after when they go away or I frequently go and walk the dog when they are busy. About: I’ve always grown up with pets from a very young age. Mainly cats but we did have a dog called Polo who I loved and cherished so much, I would take him on daily walks along the canal and meadows. I would also help out with feeding our pets. I’ve also used to look after my Nans cats while she was away, at this time we were slowly transitioning them into indoor cats so I would help out by locking them in during the night and letting them out during the mornings. About: Hi everybody! I’ve had my Cavapoo Rolo for 4 years now and the time has completely flown by! Over the years i’ve walked him 3x everyday and have taught him so many skills and we will be entering our first competition in 2026! Over the past year i have also took on caring for my grandmothers golden Labrador as she’s unable to provide walks etc, however still loves him and his company to pieces so i am honoured to be able to keep them together! I’m currently working part time from Fridays through till Sundays so have plenty of quality time and care for your pets. i’m quite an active person in my personal life, so depending on your pets needs, if they need a 2 hour walk or as little as 30 minutes neither will be a challenge. About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself so I have knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses. After I walk my dogs at 6.30am… My days are for furry friends either on dog walks, pop ins and house sitting. House Sitting… I was a babysitter for 10 years for 5 different families, I did some over night stays during that time. We always had so many different dogs in our home growing up, for friends that we would look after from weeks/ months as it was army friends. My work goal is to have my own doggy day care. i pretty much live out door on weekends walking 4 dogs, 2 of mine and 2 of my dads ( which i dog sit for when he is away) i am currently working full time, mon-fri 8-5pm, so that is why i am only starting out on weekend but i do plan to leave my job soon and i want to do this full time. i literally live and breathe for my dogs, they are my whole world! animals are my favorite and its all i have ever wanted to do! But weekends i am always out in nature, taking the dogs on big walks and hikes. also week evenings i am out with the dogs straight from work. I live in the sticks, surrounded by nature and hills! a quiet country place, our dogs are so safe that we can leave the front door open and they have the freedom to roam with lots of space . i feed my dogs nothing but goodness, healthy fresh meals and treats! they get plenty of exercise (as i pretty much live outdoors) but they also have a really comfy cozy life and just get so much love and fuss!
About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.

I have pets in the past, a rescue stafi Tia, two cats mitzi and Pandora. They were loved beyond measure. I'm a stay at home mother with two small children. We go for walks daily, come rain or shine. We have a very relaxed home environment, my children love to play in the garden mostly and are besotted with animals, including creatures they find in the garden. My eldest daughter is nearly 3 and absolutely loves playing fetch with her aunties dog Willow who often stays with us when she's on holiday. This was a really nice way of seeing if our dog could slot into their lives for a few days. They were entirely accommodating in every way and even offered to come and collect our dog on the day of us leaving to go away. I got to their house and they were very welcoming and the environment was perfect. Emma was really good in ensuring she understood what our dog liked and didn’t like, how he slept, what time he ate, if he needed any medication etc. Emma and Jordan sent pictures of our dog over the weekend having a great time out and about with their dogs and messaged us regularly with updates. Upon picking our dog up he’d acquired a lovely new toy and some new friends, we would highly recommend these guys to help you with your dogs care.”
