About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has owned three dogs and regularly cares for family and friends’ dogs while they’re away. I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re apart. I have a DBS certificate I work in education, so I’m lucky to have the school holidays free—these are the times I’m available for pet sitting. This means your dog will enjoy plenty of company, around-the-clock attention, and will only ever be left for very short periods, if at all. We also have a National Trust membership, so your dog can join us on lots of fun walks and adventures, with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and cuddles along the way! We have a secure, fenced garden and one friendly male dog. There’s plenty of space in our home for a crate if that’s part of your dog’s routine, helping them feel comfortable and settled. If your dog is a bit of an escape artist, I’m happy to put a baby gate at the front door for extra security. We also have three dog-savvy children (aged 12, 10, and 7) who have grown up around dogs and understand how to behave respectfully. About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.

Over the past year i have also took on caring for my grandmothers golden Labrador as she’s unable to provide walks etc, however still loves him and his company to pieces so i am honoured to be able to keep them together! I’m currently working part time from Fridays through till Sundays so have plenty of quality time and care for your pets. i’m quite an active person in my personal life, so depending on your pets needs, if they need a 2 hour walk or as little as 30 minutes neither will be a challenge. I have a fenced garden and have cctv surrounding the back garden to view. i also have a box for all post etc to not scare or aggravate pets.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. As a child I had a collie growing up and then while bringing my young children up we had hamsters, cats and fish. Recently the family cat passed away so it’s strange having no furry companion in the home when I’ve had it my whole life. Both of my grown up children have dogs who I love walking and looking after and playing with. I retired early at the age of 55, so now I spend my time in the gym, spending time with my 1yr and a half grand daughter or with my sons labradoodle and cat who I look after when they go away or I frequently go and walk the dog when they are busy. I’ve also looked after my daughters mixed breed (staffie/frenchdog) in Belfast. So my day can revolve around your pet whether they love attention or rather be more independent I have a fenced garden and can drive to more scenic big walks or live local to fields and small walks. About: I’ve always grown up with pets from a very young age. Mainly cats but we did have a dog called Polo who I loved and cherished so much, I would take him on daily walks along the canal and meadows. I would also help out with feeding our pets. I’ve also used to look after my Nans cats while she was away, at this time we were slowly transitioning them into indoor cats so I would help out by locking them in during the night and letting them out during the mornings. This included cleaning and feeding duties. I’m currently a Uni student at Hereford College of Arts, studying Textiles (2nd year). I’ve got plenty of free time during the afternoon and would like an opportunity that involves looking after animals aka cats and dogs. I also have a qualification in animal care and would like to gain some more experience in this sector by looking after people’s pets if possible! About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 19 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. House Sitting… I was a babysitter for 10 years for 5 different families, I did some over night stays during that time. About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has owned three dogs and regularly cares for family and friends’ dogs while they’re away. I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re apart. I have a DBS certificate I work in education, so I’m lucky to have the school holidays free—these are the times I’m available for pet sitting. This means your dog will enjoy plenty of company, around-the-clock attention, and will only ever be left for very short periods, if at all. We also have a National Trust membership, so your dog can join us on lots of fun walks and adventures, with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and cuddles along the way! We have a secure, fenced garden and one friendly male dog. There’s plenty of space in our home for a crate if that’s part of your dog’s routine, helping them feel comfortable and settled. If your dog is a bit of an escape artist, I’m happy to put a baby gate at the front door for extra security. We also have three dog-savvy children (aged 12, 10, and 7) who have grown up around dogs and understand how to behave respectfully. Please be honest about how your dog is around children so I can ensure our home is the right fit for everyone.

About: We understand from having dogs who do not like being left how important it is to have them cared for in a home environment. Our dog has full run of the house, sleeps on the bed and sofa and has three walks a day. My husband, Mark and I work from home and regularly look after friends pets when they go away from home. Recently, we looked after a springer spaniel for 6 weeks. However, our daughter is a vet so we understand that each dog has different needs and we would maintain any specific routine for your dog. Around 7 in the morning we go for our first walk of the day , then feed breakfast. Then another walk at lunchtime and we finish with an evening walk followed by supper. Our large garden is fully enclosed and dogs are not left on their own. Happy to follow a similar routine to what they have at their home.

This was a really nice way of seeing if our dog could slot into their lives for a few days. They were entirely accommodating in every way and even offered to come and collect our dog on the day of us leaving to go away. Emma was really good in ensuring she understood what our dog liked and didn’t like, how he slept, what time he ate, if he needed any medication etc. Emma and Jordan sent pictures of our dog over the weekend having a great time out and about with their dogs and messaged us regularly with updates. Upon picking our dog up he’d acquired a lovely new toy and some new friends, we would highly recommend these guys to help you with your dogs care.”
