About: Although never professionally involved in the pet care industry, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, all with different personalities! Within my village, I walked dogs for many families, including a few home stays when needed. Being a pet lover, I know the joy a single walk brings to our pets. I will help you love your furry friends when your schedule does not allow you! I am currently an international student, only in two days a week. I am fairly flexible in my routine after Monday and Tuesday. I have developed a routine to complete my school/daily tasks, allowing me to now incorporate other priorities. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to their routine so pets feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention and exercise, keep the space clean, and send updates if wanted!

About: I’ve had pets since I was a small child including dogs, cats and bunnies. I’ve trained my most recent dog myself and treat her like family (because she is) I would love to take care of other people’s pets as I genuinely enjoy their presence and taking care of them. I’m currently in my first year of uni and my timetable is very light (2 hours a day four days a week), which means I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I’m also available all weekend. I would be by your pets side all along, taking them on walks and keeping them company and entertained, they are more than welcome on the furniture and I’d take them on nice long walks.

About: Hello - Kris and I both come from dog loving families and have strong experience and bonds with many wonderful pups. Sometimes we have to travel for work, which makes it impossible for us to have a dog of our own right now, so we would love the opportunity to care for your dog in our cwtchy flat. We both work for ourselves so can alter our schedule around when care is needed. We both have years of caring for dogs, and love going to the beach with pups especially (if you have an ocean loving friend). We like lots of walks and live opposite parks and rivers so can offer outside and inside adventures and care. I am a self employed artist, and Kris works in the film industry. Some of my work can be done from home, but I also have a studio less than five minutes from the house that is set up to have dog(s) in with me for the day - or I am able to pop home every couple of hours from the studio to check in, have a quick walk and a bathroom break. Kris may sometimes be away for work but in between shoots, he is home and available for weeks at a time. We are both able to adapt our schedule to the needs of whatever animal is staying with us. We have a first floor flat with plenty of lovely windows and natural light, and plenty of couches for the pooch to snuggle up on. We would stay in on the evenings we are dog sitting, or take the pup with us on any adventures we may have, and they would of course never be alone for long periods. Although we have no outdoor areas, we are lucky to live right by the river and park and look forward to many walks. We are both from families that have relied heavily on pet sitters in the past and know how crucial trust is in this relationship and would do everything in our power to put your mind at ease before sitting or helping out in anyway.

About: I’m a caring and reliable animal lover with hands-on experience looking after my own cat his name is “Darwin”for the past 2 years. Through spending time dog walking with friends who own dogs, I’ve become comfortable handling dogs on walks, keeping them active, safe, and happy. I enjoy spending time with animals and understand the importance of patience, attention, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently a student, so pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I’m available from Wednesday to Sunday between 9am and 6pm. I enjoy going on morning walks, which makes dog walking something I genuinely enjoy as part of my day. I’m organised with my schedule and able to give pets attention, care, exercise, and companionship throughout the time they’re with me. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have two of my own back home: a Samoyed and a Poodle, which I miss very much🥺, And I’m used to different personalities, ages, and needs. They’re completely different, which has taught me how to understand each dog individually. I’ve trained my own dogs, including crate training, potty training, and basic commands like sit, stay, spin, paw and recall, so I’m confident handling behaviour in a calm and consistent way. I also enjoy making dog friendly treats and I’m very aware of what’s safe and unsafe for dogs. I’m a graduating student staying in Cardiff over the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give dogs plenty of time, attention, and love. I have an easy access to a park and a garden, which is ideal for walks and outdoor time. I have local dog sitting experience here in Cardiff and can provide references if needed. I also acquire an enhanced DBS check for added reassurance. I’m happy to help with anything from walks and day care to longer stays, and can also support with basic training if necessary :) I’m available throughout the week for walks, day care, and overnight stays, so I can be really flexible depending on what you need. I’m also quite an active person and love my morning walks, so having a little companion with me would make it even better My home is set up to be dog friendly and clean, so it’s a comfortable environment where dogs can settle in easily. I have access to a garden for quick toilet breaks. And I don’t have any other pets at home

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, specifically cats, between the ages of about 8-18! I’ve also helped with newborn bulldog puppy and kitten care, including overnight feedings, playtimes and toilet breaks. I’m currently studying full time at uni, but my campus is easily accessible and my schedule is very much self-made, as it’s all coursework and art based! As someone who has three bulldogs at home, one whom has many health issues, making adjustments to support their needs was especially important! Coming from a family who own a dog-walking field, and are trained in dog health and safety, I know at least the basics of caring for your pet!

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I'm prepared for any energy levels from a lazy day or throwing a ball for an hour! I had a lovely pug growing up, who I trained as a puppy, and took gentle care of him when he was older and became ill. I also have experience taking care of dogs for friends and family, as well as feeding and taking care of stray dogs. I'm happy to adjust my routine around dogs, and have availability all week round. I can be there for your pet all hours of the day. In your home I will stick to any rules and boundaries you have set for your dog. As well as playing and walking, I will feed your dog on schedule, and make sure they have water available.

About: I've had two cats previously and I currently have one family dog who lives with my parents. All of my previous pets were rescued so I am used to earning an animals trust and dealing with medication. I have given my cats insulin injections and heart tablets as well as gabapentin and loxicom for my dog. I am capable of giving your pet my full, undivided attention as I understand how important they are in our lives. I have done pet sitting in the last for friends, neighbours and family. As well as this I paint pet portrait commissions to make extra money and showcase my work so I am constantly surrounded by animals and their people! As an art student I have a flexible schedule as my teaching time is limited to a few hours on a Monday or Tuesday so I mainly work from home. Outside of uni work I play some sports which have equally flexible hours! I have no animals of my own and a small, fenced garden. As every animals' needs will be different I am more than happy to chat in detail with pet owners to find what will work best for both them and their pet!

About: I helped my neighbor taking care of my neighbor's dog at the age of 12. And also have the experience of taking care of cats for a week while my friend traveled abroad. I am having a part-time job now and be available to take care of your pets from early morning till late afternoon throughout the week. When I was helping my friend taking care her cats, I would go through their daily schedule like when to have food and what their favorite activities are. I would also send short messages to owner everyday about how the pets are doing everyday.

About: When I was a teenager we had 2 springer spaniels and I took an active part in their training and care. I prided myself on having two well trained dogs who would heel without a lead and wouldn't leave my sight at a festival! Currently I have two cats, who are (relatively) well behaved, and for whom I am the primary caregiver. I am comfortable with all pleasant and unpleasant aspects of animal care, and am happy to walk, play, poop scoop, flea, nail clip, vomit scrub - whatever is needed. I do have experience training dogs and puppies with general commands, and I am interested in (have researched) agility training for when I am able to have a dog of my own. I will happily enforce or build upon (if desired) whatever training you already have in place with your pet. Whatever your furbaby needs I am comfortable to provide as I would my own :) Currently I am a PhD student at Cardiff University, so my schedule is relatively flexible. I am comfortable providing morning, afternoon or evening visits or walks on weekdays and weekends as is required. Whether I am visiting or house sitting, I will always be respectful of your home and belongings, cleaning up any messes and ensuring security is maintained when I leave. I will care for your animals with the same love and attention with which I care for my own. Interactions with your animal will depend on what they like - If your dog is ball-mad, we will have many throwing sessions. If they are scent-driven, I will make sure we spend time walking in locations with varied trails. For your cat, I will determine if they are a birder or mouser (do they like their wand toys in the air or on the floor going round corners) and adapt my playstyle for their preference. If they just need some love, we can do that too.

About: I adopted a 12 year old German shepherd/lab mix with my roommates when I was 18 and he lived with us for 2 more years. I’ve missed him so much since that I’ve been looking after my friends‘ dogs regularly, sometimes for weeks at a time. I’m particularly experienced with bigger and senior dogs, having looked after an 11 year old boxer, a 13 year old Staffie mix and a 12 year old terrier mix for longer amounts of time. I just moved to Cardiff and am currently only working part time so that I have plenty of time during the week to look after your pet! I’m available Wednesday to Friday and on Sundays as well, longer stays can be arranged on request. I prefer looking after a dog in their own home where everything is familiar to them. I’m happy to learn about your routines and feeding schedules. I can take a dog into my flat for shorter stays and I live very close to Roath park for a nice long walk.
