“We were really pleased with Melissa - she walked our dogs whilst we were on holiday and loved that she kept us updated with pictures and videos. She’s very kind and friendly and can adapt to your dog’s needs. We would definitely book her again! Thank you :)”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have over 15 years of caring for them. I’ve looked after dogs for friends, family & through BorrowMyDoggy in London. I work from home full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for dogs throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I’m a very active person. Regular walks, toilet breaks and exercise are already a part of my day! I live in a clean, secure flat and don’t have any pets of my own so your dog will have my full attention. While I don’t have a garden, I’m happy to provide as many toilet breaks, walks & outdoor adventures your dog needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your baby with someone else, and I will always treat them with the same care & attention I’d want for my dog (Rosie!).

About: I work from home in Pontcanna, Cardiff in a flexible working environment, after just losing my own dog I’m looking to spend some time with some furry friends before we’re ready to own our own again 💓 I am active and enjoy long walks (especially to get away from the desk) and available to pet sit overnight or for a few hours. I am able to travel via car also to fun areas to walk for the dogs, even getting muddy and wet! Happy to arrange meets prior to bookings so you can get to know me :) I love all pets but have most experience with dogs of all sizes. I have had a dog my whole life, I have recently lost a 13 year old dog of my own who I cared for. Before that, I grew up with a Labrador where my love of big lovey dogs started. I frequently dog sit for family who have an elderly dog needing medications so in-depth experience with this. Also dog sit for a friend with two hyper labs (one puppy) and love playing with these too! I enjoy their energy, and helping to dispel it with games and walks. I work from home in a flexible environment so available for morning, lunch or evening walking or check ins :) I can also drive to locations for ease! I had experience walking all sizes of dogs! I have administered medicines to elderly dogs, cared for dogs with food allergies and ensured a safe environment.

About: I’ve had my own dog for 4 years and raised him from a puppy, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand the level of care, love and attention every dog deserves. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness always come first, and I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own while they’re with me. I also have a real soft spot for dachshunds and specialise in caring for them. I understand their little personalities, their quirks, and the extra love and patience they need. I’ve looked after so many dachshunds for longer stays and would love to become a regular sitter for owners looking for a safe, loving home-from-home for their dog while their owners are away. You can expect a tailored and regular scheduled time to hang out, go for walks at the local parks. Lots of attention provided! We are very active and ratio about 3 to 4 walks a day as we enjoy getting out into the fields and enjoying the day. I provide dog walking, check ins at your residence if needed and I can offer doggy day care and overnight care. I’m available for all kind of specific needs your pet needs.
About: Shwmae, Alicia here! I am a highly experienced pet sitter & dog walker with 10+ years of cat ownership and expansive pet-care experience, including looking after dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and even some Icelandic horses! I have cared for many amazing pets across the UK, Ireland, France and Germany, which has been an incredible way to travel the world, connect with new people and enjoy spending time around the most wonderful creatures! I specialize in supporting anxious and reactive dogs — including those who've experienced trauma. I understand that these pups need more than just a walk. They need patience, consistency, and someone who can read their body language and respect their boundaries. Working for a local social enterprise that promotes accessible cycling has given me strong community values, excellent local knowledge, and a reliable, active lifestyle. I travel by bike whenever possible, allowing me to provide punctual, eco-conscious care for your pets. Back in Ireland I have four darling cats, all with differing personalities and needs, so I am expert in gauging pet behaviour and giving care accordingly. Under my high-standard supervision, I assure to always: -Feed pets adhering to your specific measurements, dietary requirements and allergies -Constantly provide fresh drinking water and refill frequently -Give all medicine as prescribed -Maintain all litter boxes -Give lots of love, attention and time to your pet (in a way that suits your pet best) NB - I would love to meet you (and your pets) before sitting - just to ensure contentment and clarity between all parties. Pop me a message with any queries! I’m currently returning to university to complete a part-time Master’s degree over the next two years, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for your furry family member! At the moment, I’m completely available on Sundays and Mondays, as well as every evening during the week. I also start work at 11:00 am most weekdays, making morning walks and drop-in visits easy to accommodate. I’m hoping to reduce my working hours further in the near future, allowing me even more availability for study and pet care. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment with access to a fantastic private terrace featuring a large grassy area on the rooftop. This provides a safe and convenient outdoor space where your dog can stretch their legs or your cat can enjoy some fresh air (if they're used to being outdoors and with your permission). Your pet will have plenty of space to relax, play, and feel right at home during their stay. Your pet's safety, happiness, and routine are my absolute top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I always follow the owner's care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication (if required), exercise, and any specific routines or preferences. I keep fresh water available at all times, supervise pets closely, and ensure they are never left in unsafe situations. During walks, I use secure leads and stay alert to the surroundings. If I'm caring for pets in your home, I will respect your property, always keep everything tidy, and provide regular photo and message updates - just so you can have peace of mind while you're away. ** I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and care (in a way that suits them best).

About: I'm a clean, tidy, considerate person who has taken care of pets in other people's homes ever since I was little. Dogs are very good for my mental health and I really enjoy being in the company of cats too. My ex-boyfriends have always had dogs which I have enjoyed looking after when we’ve been together (and been very sad to leave!). My cat Crazy Bob sadly passed away when I was 19, and my current landlord doesn’t allow pets - plus every housemate I’ve had since graduating uni is allergic to cats - so I can’t have them in my own home. Therefore this is the best way for me to have quality time with animals. I am very happy to send daily photo and video updates as I know how hard it is when you are missing your best friends! I currently work 9-5 in a hybrid capacity between the office and from home. I wfh Thurs-Fri and I have my weekends free. I am available after 8pm on Thursdays and from Friday - Sunday I am available all day. I like to care for pets by following their established routine. Dogs for example, whether that’s taking regular short - long walks, playtime, time off lead, having the occasional treat, staying on the lead, socialising with other dogs or watching TV at home, having a healthy amount of meals and having plenty of cuddles!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, specifically cats, between the ages of about 8-18! I’ve also helped with newborn bulldog puppy and kitten care, including overnight feedings, playtimes and toilet breaks. I’m currently studying full time at uni, but my campus is easily accessible and my schedule is very much self-made, as it’s all coursework and art based! As someone who has three bulldogs at home, one whom has many health issues, making adjustments to support their needs was especially important! Coming from a family who own a dog-walking field, and are trained in dog health and safety, I know at least the basics of caring for your pet!

About: Hiya! Im Mia, I’m a life long dog lover and after my Gorgeous Springer Spaniel Maggie passed away I’ve been left with a dog shaped hole in my heart! I’m not currently in position where I can provide full time care to a dog of my own, so in the meantime I would love to spend time with yours! Dogs have always brought me immense happiness (as well as a great form of exercise) and I’d love to be able to provide that for you too! I work Monday-Friday 9-5 so weekends are what works best for me, I don’t have any ‘formal’ dog sitting or training experience but I’ve owned several dogs and am super comfortable with them! I work a 9–5 job throughout the week, however on the weekends I’m more than game to spend some time with your wonderful dog! I’m keen to be more active where I can, so if walks are needed that’s no problem at all, but equally I love cuddles as much as the next person! Your dogs comfort is the utmost important thing to me, I don’t want to ruin any routines or upset them in any way! I’m happy to learn what YOUR dog needs, not just what A dog needs! Any extra steps you’d want me to carry out to make sure they are as happy and Healthy as possible are fine with me!
“Kaludia has been very patient and kind with our dog Winnie who was initially very shy. She does a great job taking winnie on walks nearby to where we live and keeps me up to date with photos. Would recommend her to others!”

About: I've had animals all my life. My folks always had dogs when growing up from Great Danes to Dalmatians. They also had pedigree Persians cats, which they bred. So I've helped our cats with their deliveries. Since i lived in my own house. I had 2 cats who lived until they were 18 &1/2, Charlie & 19 &1/2 Chewy, my boys were 6 weeks old when we got them. I'm having a break from getting anymore pets for now. I have had my friends dog Luna come to stay for a night or a few days. Luna is a samoyed breed, like a husky but wider. She's all white & built like a tank 😊 She's really excited for everything & everything & loves spending time at my house. I have a large garden with grass & I have a house, with a front concrete drive. I live around the corner from Jubilee Park, which is great to let dogs off the lead when empty. I leave my back door open so animals can come & go into the garden. Luna loves it she currently lives in a flat & doesn't have a garden. When she comes to mine she has more space & free run of my garden. So that's why I'm calling my service a doggie spa day, they will have a garden, walks, play, space, attention, as well as the normal food & water....edit I moved to a ground-floor flat with a patio garden in October 2025. You are welcome to visit my flat to view or I can send a video of the garden. Ask any questions, if you & your dog are happy then we'll get along great, thanks Diane 😊 As I'm at home daily except Friday and Saturday. I'll leave my back door open to my garden. My garden has grass and plants around the borders. Your pet can come and go as they want. Once I've done some work, I'll take a break and take your dog out to Jubilee park, which is around the corner. We'll have an hour or so depending on the weather in the park. Then we'll come back the slow way via capital retail park and maybe get a hot chocolate from Costa. Then we'll come home and I'll open the back door to my garden again. Then I'll do more work, while your dog shouts at the cats next-door 🤣 When we go out to the park we'll play and if no other animals I'll let your dog off the lead. We'll play catch & depending on the size of your dog will depend on how long we stay out. My friends dog Luna is a samoyed, a Siberian working dog, she's always happy & excitable. You can take her out for hours & she never tires but she loves my garden & shouting at the cats next-door I'll care for your pets like my own. My cats lived until they were 18 &1/2 Charlie & 19 &1/2 Chewy. I had them since they were 6 weeks old. It's heartbreaking to lose them. I would treat your animals like my own with love, kindness& a bit of strictness. I trained my cats that when they had fights that got rougher I would clap my hands loudly & they'd separate & both run off together 🤣. If you have a way to treat or disapline them I will do that. I'm there to make sure your animals are safe, happy & well loved while you are away. I'll send you video & photo updates daily if you want. I know what it's like to go away & leave your pets with someone. I want to help you have a good relaxing holiday and your animals to be happy & carefree while you're gone. When my friend comes to pick up Luna, she was in 2 minds whether to go 🤣. Her owner opened the back door to the car & called her but she stayed next to me 😊 I told her I'd see her soon & go, then she did. I'm just happy she enjoyed herself with me. I hope your animals will feel the same way when I take them into my home or I come to yours.

“Sophia was just great. Personable, excellent communication and very reliable dog walker, with result being a well exercised & happy spaniel on the days he went out on a walk with Sophia. Lovely photos of his outings too. Many thanks!”

About: Hi! I’m Kayleigh and have always been a massive dog lover! I have a 6 year old Sprocker Spaniel called Rex who means the absolute world to me, so I really do understand how hard it is to trust somebody else with your precious doggo’s! So please be assured that your dog would be in the best hands and I would hand on heart treat them as my own. Rex is well exercised and has plenty of enrichment throughout the day and your dog would also get this if this suits your dogs needs, along with lots of love and affection of course! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to drop me a message :) I have previously been a trusted dog carer on Rover but took a break due to work commitments, but now that I have more flexibility I would love to have some extra dog company again! When I work, I work from home so your dog would never be left on their own and I am able to walk and keep your doggo’s entertained throughout the day! I have a reasonable sized garden which is fenced. There are some local parks nearby for walks, however I also drive so tend to venture to new places as much as possible!
“We are very pleased with Kerri and feel lucky to have found her to walk Storm. She is very reliable and we were able to have a nice holiday knowing he was in good hands on his walks with Kerri. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was a kid. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to train, walk, feed and bathe their pets! In addition to always having pets around the house, dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, birds and others! I have experience with both young pets and seniors and can offer excellent care and service for all kind of breeds. My schedule is pretty flexible, I'm available for different services every day. I can spend as much time as needed with your pet as I work remotely and do not have a fixed working schedule. I can look after your pet based on their need, happy to feed, play, bathe, walk, train/take to training, paint, dance together, read them a bedtime story or whatever else makes them happy!
About: With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. Growing up with four dogs and now raising my own Biewer Terrier, Chickoo, I’ve developed a genuine understanding of dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. As a doctoral researcher with a healthcare background, I bring a calm, attentive, and detail-oriented approach to pet care. My husband and I work from home, so your pet receives plenty of companionship, supervision, and affection throughout the day. I have experience with: # Puppy care, including basic training, recall, and toilet training. # Senior dog care, including administering oral medications and supporting dogs with additional care needs. # Basic wound care and dressing changes when required. # Mental enrichment and stimulating games for high-energy dogs. # Bathing and blow-drying. I always follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed and secure. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates throughout their stay, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently doing research so I spend most the time at home and cherry on the top, even if I go out for few hours my husband is always home to look after your buddy. Note: Day cares are only cover 8-10 hours i.e drop off 7-9am and pickup between 4-6pm anything after that will be considered as boarding. For daycares, I can provide a maximum of one walk per day, with plenty of playtime, enrichment, and companionship for the rest of the day. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. Before every booking, I take the time to understand each pet’s individual routine, personality, medical needs, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, and any behavioural quirks, so I can provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. In my home: * Pets are fitted with an AirTag (with the owner’s permission) while in my care for added peace of mind. * Fresh drinking water is always available, and food and water bowls are cleaned after every meal. * Care is adapted to each pet’s individual needs and routine. * My enclosed, secure garden allows for safe, supervised outdoor time. * Pets are never left unattended in the garden or left home alone. * They are monitored 24/7 using pet cameras, and I provide constant supervision and companionship. Throughout every stay, I provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and receiving the highest standard of care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a calm, happy, and trusting environment wherever they are.
About: I lived with dogs (labs and spaniels) for most of my childhood and was always taught how to train them, how to walk them, and the other essentials of pet care. I currently work from home and have a flexible work pattern so can regularly take pups for toilet breaks/walks. I regularly go on long walks when we can. All I need now is a dog to take with us! Dogs will be given as much or as little attention as needed during the day, able to roam as they please. I’m happy to talk to owners about any specific requirements and we’ll see what we can do!

About: Animals have always been a massive part of my life. I currently have two cats and grew up with both cats and dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that’s playtime, feeding, walks, or just giving them attention and company !! I work from home flexibly, so can work from any location and can always pop out to sit and play with pets! I have two cats of my own so I am used to the routine. I can use your routine so your pet is the most comfortable when being looked after. Please provide me with instruction on how you would like things done or leave it up to me!
“Lauren made sure that Maldwyn was looked after and allowed his comfort break in the garden. The original plan was for a walk however given the weather that day I suggested to drop in on him instead and make sure his needs were met and he was comfortable before leaving him. Can't ask for better.”

Jake was fantastic with my anxious husky. My dog’s not great at meeting new people but was very relaxed with him! Jake met me for a meet and greet at short notice and has taken on all my dog’s walking needs whilst I’m away this month. He has provided all the info and pictures from their walks also which has been lovely. I’m happily using Jake’s walking services going forward and recommend him fully :)

We just had a successful first walk/meet-and-greet with Elinor and couldn't be happier. She was very patient with Loki, who is a nervous dog, and she clearly knows how to build trust at a dog's own pace. Great communication and professional—we’re looking forward to having her stay over for his future sits

Sevval has been absolutely amazing with Winston. I have booked her a number of times now and each time she is brilliant. I receive regular updates and know that Winston is well cared for. Winston has been under the weather with an eye ulcer for a number of months now and Sevval has gone above and beyond to look after him. I would 100% recommend her and would book her again.

David is understanding and knowledgable of dogs and has provided a great service for my Frenchie, Rocco. Rocco can be slightly unpredictable but David provided the reassurance I needed for him to handle him and Rocco has loved the walks they have done together. Highly recommended.
