Tim has been walking Bertie for a while now and he absolutely loves him + can’t wait for their walks. He’s confident handling my spirited Australian Shepherd, which is really reassuring for me. Bertie comes back happy and relaxed every time. Couldn’t recommend Tim more.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs through Rover for over three years, and during that time, I’ve had the joy of looking after some wonderful regulars, including Dude, Wally, Mabel, Herbie, and Pepper. They have kept me busy week after week, which is why I haven’t been taking on many new dogs recently, but I’m excited to welcome new furry friends again. I live with my partner in the heart of Bath on Great Pulteney Street, just minutes from beautiful parks, which is perfect for walks since we live in a flat with no garden. Most of the dogs I care for are dachshunds, so I know their big personalities, routines, and love of blankets and treats. We also happily welcome other small breeds, as bigger dogs just wouldn’t be fair in our flat. Caring for dogs has become such a big part of my life, and one day we hope to bring our own sausage dog home. I work full-time (9–5:30), but my day is already built around dog care. On weekdays, walks and potty breaks usually look like: - Morning walk before work (around 8am) - Lunch break walk - Afternoon walk when my partner gets home - Evening potty breaks around 8pm and 11pm (depending on needs and feeding schedules) Occasionally (usually Thursdays), I travel to London for work. If an owner is comfortable, I’m happy to bring their dog with me, as my office is dog-friendly. If not, my work is flexible and I’m able to skip the London visit that week, so routines at home stay the same. I focus on calm, safe, and consistent care, always following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any house rules you have in place. I’m comfortable administering medication if needed and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos. FOR DACHSHUND OWENERS: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for 4 dachshunds through Rover, so I know how important it is to protect their backs. We’re very mindful of IVDD, making sure to carry them up and down stairs, as well as equipped our sofa with dog steps. Every walk, play session, and cuddle is handled with care to keep them comfortable, happy, and safe while they’re with us.

About: I am a final year at the university of Bath studying biomedical science. I will be doing my masters at Bath university from September 2026, with the intention of beginning medicine in September 2027. I am a hockey player and long distance runner so I love staying active a LOT! I am very easy to talk to and friendly! I am diagnosed with autism and ADHD. I would like owners to be aware of this but not because it affects my role as a pet sitter but it’s good to be open and honest. If anything, it makes me more cautious, loving and caring! Being around animals is one of the most beautiful things in life and I love that I get to hang out with them! I have grown up around many pets, from chickens all the way to horses! I have had 4 cats in my lifetime, three rabbits, multiple hamsters and one precious dog. I truly believe I am very patient, caring and loving! I have experience with different temperaments and will handle any situations with the upmost respect and consideration of both the pet and owner. I enjoy keeping in touch with the owners throughout the day to let them know their pet is well cared for, as I can understand deeply about the love we feel as owners and wanting to know they are ok. I want anyone who is trusting me with their pet to trust me wholeheartedly and I try my best to ensure that. I’ve been very lucky to look after so many beautiful dogs, cats and rabbits. It is the most rewarding feeling. I can’t wait for many more bookings! I am a university student currently home for the summer and would love to take up a small flexible job to earn some money for my rent! I am available any time except from the 7th June-23rd June. I will offer dog walking services, and am available any time of the day. There is a field by mine that I can utilise or if the dog is more of a slow walker, I am happy to just walk them around the neighbourhood, whatever suits their needs!

About: I have spent my time with dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes! I have my own Havanese, who I helped train when she was a puppy, and taught her basic commands too. I have also spend time and am very comfortable with many other dog breeds, such as collies, Rottweilers etc. I adore dogs!! I am currently a student, and have no part time job. Therefore, I’d have lots of time to spend with your pets, and make sure they are getting all the care they need! I stick to your pet’s existing routine as closely as possible and give them all the love and attention they are used to! I will always leave the home as I found it, and keep you updated throughout.

About: I am from France and have owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 years old. I currently have two dogs who live with my parents in France while I am in the UK and I remain very involved in their care. I enjoy spending time with dogs and have also looked after friends’ dogs on several occasions. I treat other people’s dogs as my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I really miss being around dogs regularly, which is why I want to offer dog sitting. I am mostly available during weekdays as I am not currently working, especially late mornings, afternoons and evenings whenever possible. I can also be flexible on weekends. I live in a quiet top-floor flat with no other dogs in the building, which provides a calm environment for pets. I also live very close to a nice park, which is ideal for regular walks and exercise. When caring for dogs, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime and lots of attention and affection. I am attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether they prefer active play or a calmer environment and I always prioritise their safety and comfort. If I am caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to maintain the dog’s normal routine and help them feel secure while their owner is away.

About: Hi, I'mJess! I have been boarding and sitting pets on Rover since 2021 bringing a lifetime of animal care experience to your beloved dog. Growing up with energetic Collies and owning a senior Black Labradoodle back home, I am entirely comfortable with all shapes and sizes-from miniature Cavapoos to giant Bernese Mountain Dogs. 🐱 My Specialized Cat-Friendly Home I share my home with my two gentle cats, Lana and Mali, who are completely socialized and used to dogs of all sizes. • The Perfect Environment: My home is ideal for puppies needing safe feline socialization, or dogs who live peacefully with cats at home. • Safety First: I strictly require that all guest dogs are friendly with cats. If you are unsure, I am more than happy to arrange a "cat-test" during our initial Meet & Greet to ensure everyone is safe and happy. 💼 Flexible Routines & Medical Care • Work-from-Home Flexibility: My job is highly flexible; I only work in an office one day a week and can often shift my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. Your dog will rarely be left alone. • Complex Medical Needs: My family dog has severe allergies and requires four different daily medications. Because of this, I am highly experienced with strict medical schedules, complex feeding requirements, and coaxing stubborn dogs to take their tablets. 🌳 Walks, Play & Daily Updates • Active Outings: I love the outdoors! Whether your dog prefers a gentle stroll or a long, high-energy run through the beautiful Bath countryside, they will get plenty of exercise. If your pup is like my Barty and cannot leave the house without a toy, I am always ready for a game of fetch. • Photo Updates: I love keeping owners connected. We can easily share daily photo and video updates via WhatsApp, or keep all communication strictly through the Rover app-whatever you prefer! My Availability & Daily Routine: I work full-time with incredible flexibility. Because I work remotely four days a week, your pet will enjoy constant companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. Office Days: I am only required in the office one day a week. If my listed calendar availability does not perfectly match your dates, please send me a message! I can frequently shift my office day to accommodate your booking. A Day Working from Home: When your dog is with me during the workday, they become part of the family. They will receive regular garden breaks, plenty of cuddles right next to my desk, and a long, energetic walk during my lunchtime break. Cat Drop-Ins & Walks: Because my hours are flexible, I can easily time my drop-in visits or dog walks around your pet's specific, preferred morning, midday, or evening routines. Safety, Trust & Peace of Mind: Your pet’s safety and emotional well-being are my absolute priorities. Because I have been sitting since 2023, I treat every guest pet with the same hyper-vigilance and care that I give to my own animals. Secure Home Environment: I live in a secure flat, meaning there is zero risk of a sneaky escape. The indoor environment is fully pet-proofed, quiet, and kept clean and organised. Controlled Multi-Pet Safety: Because I have two resident cats, I use a strict, slow-introduction protocol for all visiting dogs. I am fully prepared to use secure indoor zoning (such as separate rooms or baby gates) to ensure everyone has a safe space to relax. Outdoor & On-Lead Security: When out walking through Bath's open spaces, your dog will stay securely on-leash at all times unless you explicitly instruct otherwise. I strictly follow your precise training commands, behavioural directions, and road-safety preferences. Emergency Preparedness: I am highly experienced in managing complex canine medical conditions and administering multiple daily medications. I keep the details of local 24/7 emergency vets on hand at all times, and you will receive frequent, transparent photo updates throughout their stay.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid, including family pets, and I have done a lot of dog sitting for many friends/family members over the years. I have been on rover for over a year, looked after some lovely dogs, and have a few repeat customers! I work from home 2 days a week with minimal meetings, so I have plenty of time to pay attention to a pet, as well as take them for as many walks as needed. It would be great company for me too! I have a fenced garden and plenty of green areas near my home for walks. If the dog is crate trained there is room for a crate and that will be easy to accommodate. There are no other pets in my home so they will have the run of the place! If I am in your house, I will treat it like my own and always leave it as I found it.

I can’t recommend Yasmine highly enough as a dog walker. I’ve been using her services for over a year now, and she has been absolutely fantastic from day one. She is reliable, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog, Max, absolutely adores her, which says everything. He gets so excited whenever she arrives, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. Yasmine always goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy, well-exercised, and looked after as if he were her own. It’s not easy to find someone you trust completely with your pet, but Yasmine has truly earned that trust. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she does, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog walker. Ho I should mention I have a crazy border collie ! 😂
