About: I've grown up with both cats and dogs and have always been surrounded by animals. Over the years, I've regularly looked after the pets of friends and family, giving me experience with a variety of personalities and care needs. A few years ago, I volunteered at a dog shelter in Cape Town, which strengthened my passion for working with dogs. Since then, I've cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments in my local community. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication when needed. Most of all, I have a big heart and a genuine love for animals. I'm honest, reliable, and attentive, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing your pets will be treated as if they were my own. I'll make sure they receive plenty of love, care, and attention, and I'll enjoy every moment spent with them. I always adjust my schedule to meet your pet's individual needs. As pet sitting is my full-time focus, I'll be with your pets for the majority of the day, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, love, and companionship. Your dog will enjoy regular walks suited to their personality and energy level, whether that's exploring the countryside, playing fetch at a local park, or socialising with other friendly dogs. Every walk is designed to keep them happy, active, and engaged while maintaining their usual routine. Safety and security are my number one priority. I will always discuss your dog's recall, temperament, and how they interact with other dogs and people, and I will carefully follow any advice or requests you provide. Your dog will only be let off lead with your permission and only in safe, secure areas. I aim to keep to your dog's usual routine so they feel comfortable and settled while you're away. If they enjoy the company of other dogs, I can provide group walks. If they prefer one-to-one walks, I will happily accommodate that too.

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, and my own dog Toby is now in his senior years so I’m very used to being gentle and mindful of what older pups may need. Caring for him has taught me how to keep walks calm and comfortable and how to spot when a dog needs a slower pace or a tad bit of extra reassurance. I’m also great with younger more energetic dogs and I’m happy to match their pace to keep them engaged and help them burn off some of that never ending energy!! Whether it is a steady stroll, lively walk or just keeping them company, I want to make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well looked after in my company! I’m a student at the University of Bath studying Biomedical Sciences. Now in my third year, I tend to be up at campus less and have got a really flexible schedule. During the week I spend a lot of my time working on assignments, which means I’m usually at my laptop, perfect for pet sitting because I’m around all day and able to give dogs plenty of company. At the same time though I find that brain fog is very real and so getting outside for regular walks is ideal for me too. It breaks up my work and means I can take dogs out throughout the day, check in as needed, or just hang out with them whilst I work. I’m available Monday through Sunday, so my routine is super flexible and easy to fit around whatever your pup needs. My priority is keeping things calm, safe, and familiar for them. I will stick closely to your usual routines (such as feeding times, walk schedules, house rules, and any little quirks your pet has) so they feel settled and secure with me. I’m very mindful of safety in the home, making sure doors, gates, and anything they shouldn’t get into are kept properly closed. I also value keeping communication open, sending updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether I’m checking in, staying with them for the day, or keeping them company while I work, I make sure they feel relaxed, cared for, and never alone in their own space!

About: As a family we had a labradoodle growing up, so I have experience looking after, caring and walking a dog. I have also looked after many of my friends dogs at weekends and when I was living in New Zealand spent a lot of time dog sitting. I am a physiotherapist at the RUH so tend to work 8-5 most days, but I work a 9 day fortnight so have every other Monday off. I am normally free and around at weekends if given notice and can walk dogs after work from (5-9pm). Happy to do doggy day care on my Mondays off. I live in a flat with my lovely house mate. Unfortunately we do not have a garden but Alexander park and Victoria park are very close by so lots of places to walk a dog.

About: I have had dogs all my life and miss having them around when at uni. I have worked at a branch of the RSPCA for 3 years mainly in the boarding dogs section where I have looked after all sizes and temperaments of dogs from different backgrounds. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, administrating medication and providing company fit for the individual dogs needs and energy levels. Prior to this job I volunteered at a puppy training class for 2 years, achieving a level 1 qualification. I absolutely love animals and hope to go into animal welfare in the future. I’m currently in second year of Uni at UoB meaning I have lectures during the week however, I am happy to go anytime I’m not in lectures. This is most afternoons, every evening and all weekend. I have experience with all types of dogs and am trained on how to handle dogs who have slight quirks such as bowl guarding etc. On walks I will not let your dog off the lead but ensure they are on a loose leash, when safe, while still making sure I have a tight grip of the Handel. I am experienced in picking dogs up if needed and know how to do so safely.

About: I love dogs and love spending time with them. I’ve spent many years looking after friends and families dogs while they are away - taking them for walks, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I’m used to dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I understand every dog is different. My main goal is to make the dog feel loved and safe. As a professional athlete, I am extremely reliable, trustworthy and always on time! I love the outdoors and it is always made better by sharing that space with a dog. I’m currently a professional athlete based in Bath. I am often training in the mornings but tend to have late afternoons and evenings free - although my schedule is flexible. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes, and as a strong young man I have no issue managing larger dogs. The safety and trust of the dog is my top priority

About: Before moving to Bath, I helped my mum take care of dogs through her dog sitting business, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Since starting uni, I’ve really missed being around them, and I’m passionate about giving each one the care and attention they deserve. I’m comfortable with everything from puppies to seniors, and I have experience managing special dietary needs. No dog is too big or small, I’m here to keep them happy, healthy and maybe a little spoiled! I work part time four days a week, my rota changes weekly. My partner and I have looked after dogs together in Bath, and if I’m at work, he’s happy to help with walks and other responsibilities (if that’s okay with the owner). He has a German Shepard of his own, so he’s experienced and great with dogs too. I’m flexible to fit the dog’s routine and keep them very happy. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and stick to their routine to keep them comfortable. I make sure the home is safe and clean, and give plenty of cuddles to make sure they don’t miss their owners too much!

About: I’ve both potty trained and behaviour trained a springer spaniel puppy. I have also looked after and cared for elderly dogs and cats, both of which required medication in their food I am currently a student at bath spa university studying geography in the hopes of entering the conversation field post graduation. I have a deep care for animals and nature and have been raised on these values. Outside of term time I live in Switzerland where I look after my 3 year old springer spaniel and 15 year old maine coon cat who has recently been diagnosed with cancer and requires daily medication. Unfortunately i cannot offer pet sitting in my own home as it is a student property, however I am more than happy to pet sit in your home. I will make sure areas are secure, walks are a sufficient length for your pet and try to provide walk both on and off lead depending on location. Food will always be given at the time requested.

About: Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded with cats and loved every minute with them. Family and friends always know that they can rely on my to take care of their pets. Although I have not professionally looked after animals, I have been surrounded by them my whole life and have always had a close bond with animals. Thank you for reading!
