About: I have just finished my vet degree and have lots of exprience looking after dogs, both in a personal and professional capacity. I have minded puppies, and had great fun doing different enrichment activities with them to get their little minds working! I've looked after middle-age and senior dogs, and adjusted our activities for what suits their needs best - whether that's a big hill walk, a run on the beach, or relaxing stroll followed by some gentle physiotherapy :) I have a certificate in Animal Care, have experience with dog training and grooming, and now have completed a 4 year veterinary medicine course, graduating in July. Please note, while I hope my veterinary background provides some ease of mind, I am unable to provide any veterinary advice or intervention to the animals in my care. I currently am enjoying my last summer before entering the adult world of 9-5 job, so have a very flexible schedule! I am free mornings and afternoons, and ocassionally free in the evening - please just message me with any scheduling queries and I'll reply ASAP :) I am unable to offer boarding, but ensure all animals in my care are safe and secure, whether that's looking after them in your own home, or out on a walk.
“Freya was excellent! She responded very quickly and was incredibly lovely, communicative and professional throughout. She also sent pictures every visit, which was so reassuring to me while away from my kittens! I will absolutely be in touch next time we plan to go away :)”

About: Since a young age both Fra and myself have cared for animals. We both had cats and dogs in our homes since birth and have looked after them with utmost care and attention. In our adult years we have taken house sitting seriously and have cared for several homes and a variety of pets. From dogs and cats, to lizards, frogs and guineapigs, we've cared for them all. Pet care takes priority when it comes to our weekly routines. We have various jobs and hobbies, yet we are very flexible and can usually cater to the needs of the animals are the requests of the pet owner. We always take the pets care requirements into consideration. Most pets will require different attention and we make sure to provide what is required. Whether it's walking, feeding, washing or general health care, we have the experience and understanding to provide great pet care.

About: We’re Nat and Chris, and we’ve been proud to call Bristol our home since 2017. With 7 years of experience in dog boarding and 14 years of lovingly raising our own dog from a playful puppy to a cherished elderly companion, we’re dedicated to providing a warm, secure, and nurturing home-from-home environment for your furry friend. It was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our beloved Coco 🌈, who filled our lives with joy, deepened our understanding of dogs, and forever touched our souls. We adore dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, with a special place in our hearts for shy ones, drawing on our lifelong experience with dogs and cats. We’re with dogs at home all the time 😊. We do not accept large groups—instead, we carefully match and introduce only dogs that get along well and enjoy each other’s company, ensuring a calm, stress-free stay for everyone. There’s nothing we enjoy more than sharing long, joyful walks through nearby woods, parks, and forests with our guests. Our three-bedroom home offers plenty of space for your dog to feel at ease, complete with a large, securely fenced garden. Plus, we’re just steps away from the beautiful Kings Weston House and its expansive open common area—perfect for adventures and relaxation. We know how much your dog means to you, and we treat every pet as if they were our own, with the utmost care and respect. We’re flexible with timing and thoughtful about pick-up and drop-off, making the experience as smooth as possible for you and your pet. To keep you connected, we’ll send daily updates with photos, sharing the happy moments of your dog’s stay. We’d be honoured to welcome your dog into our home 😊. I provide personalised dog boarding in a small, home-like setting — maximum 5 dogs at once. Solo boarding is welcome, but please book in advance ☺️ We have a big open plan living room and kitchen area so there’s lots of space for you pet to roam free. I live in an upstairs flat with no garden but there is a small park across the road that dogs can we taken to on leads for comfort breaks, i have had my family pets stay before and this was not an issue!

About: Friendly, reliable and experienced & based just outside of Bristol. I’m experienced and confident with a range of dogs and have walked and cared for a number of different breeds and ages. Having my own dog and struggling to find someone I’d comfortably trust her with, I empathise with owners when searching for a solution when you’re tied up with work or other commitments! I understand and can be flexible with your dog’s routine, whilst also striving to give them an exciting and stimulating walk. I’m currently working flexible hours and have a lot of free time to dedicate to walks/drop-ins and pet-sitting. Having recently started my own dog walking / dog sitting business, I have the experience and time to commit to caring for your much-loved pets. I often have more spare time in the week, but can usually accommodate weekends too if given enough time notice! I have a flat with a fenced-off decking area with access to lots of fields just over the road! I have a car so I’m able to travel to your home to care for your dog too. I’m happy to fit in with your dog’s routine and your expectations where I can.

As I have recently graduated, I have plenty of time to joyfully dedicate my days to providing love and attention to furry companions. So pet caring integrates into my daily life :) In my home or a pet owner’s home, I provide attentive pet care by insuring their comfort, feeding, playtime and regular walks. Creating a safe and loving environment is my first priority.
About: Since my parents bought our first dog when I was 7 years old, I have had animals in my life. I currently live with my sweet 2 year old Labradoodle, Bertie, and two rescue cats, Lucky and Spot. For three years, I lived in Qatar, where my mum and I committed a huge amount of passion towards rehoming and taking care of abandoned/stray dogs and cats, allowing me to spend time with animals of various temperaments. I’ve also, since about 10 years old, walked and sat for neighbours animals and made sure that they are bathed, fed, walked, and we’ll played with. I am an actor meaning I attend auditions in London from time to time, as well as taking part in film and tv productions, giving me a wonderfully flexible schedule with a great amount of time for pet care. In my own home, I have three very friendly resident pets who will be around to play with inside the house, as well as within the confines of the fenced garden. We also live very close to various lovely long dog walks, which my dog Bertie can join us on if your dog is boarding. In the pet owners home, I will take great care to ensure everything remains tidy, with no muddy paw prints, and that animals are fed, watered, bathed (if needed), and cuddled. I make sure to let them outside frequently, and try my best to tire them out for a good nights sleep.
“We couldn’t be happier with Julie’s dog-sitting services! She took care of our two dogs for six consecutive days, dropping in to feed them, let them out for bathroom breaks, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. Every day, she sent us wonderful updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she truly cares about the pets she looks after. Reliable, professional, and kind—Julie is fantastic, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾😊”

“Alan dropped in to feed our cat while we were away. He was responsive, kind and kept us updated throughout. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a caring sitter for their pet! :)”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Portishead
Katy made a drop in visit to see my dog, she sent me notifications of arriving and leaving as well as photos of my dog playing in the garden. Katy visited for a meet and greet before the drop in and spent over half an hour learning everything that she needed to know about the house and my dog. I will definitely use Katy again and recommend her. She is very experienced and confident around dogs.
