“Our little dog Aluna was very happy with Debbie for her first overnight stay. Debbie kindly collected her to make it easier for Aluna (so she wasn't distressed when I left her) and took her for a short walk to settle her down before playing with her at her home. Debbie is warm and welcoming and treats her guest dogs as her own. She is quick to respond to messages and to answer any questions we had. We will happily send Aluna to stay with her again. Thanks Debbie.”

“Kate and her family were absolutely wonderful with Poppy! Since Kate works from home, Poppy had constant company, and she loved being spoiled by Kate's partner and teenage kids. Her large garden was perfect for relaxing. Communication was excellent throughout the stay—highly recommend Kate for anyone looking for a loving home environment!”

“Charlotte was amazing at looking after Lucy. We received plenty of photos and updates on how she was doing and how at home she made herself! Would not hesitate to book up with Charlotte again. Thank you!”

“Bonita looked after my lively young dog (5-month-old Chihuahua / Jack Russell cross) brilliantly. I was worried about leaving him as he is quite young but she kept him safe and happy, keeping up continuity with his routines at home. My dog got on very well with her little dog and they had a lot of fun together. She kept in touch with me providing regular updates and photos which was very reassuring. He came home happy and well. Thanks so much Bonita.”

“Simba had a great time with Hannah! I really appreciate how well Hannah took care of him—Simba came home happy and completely relaxed. I’ve already booked Simba's future boarding with Hannah, and I fully recommend.”

“Tracey and Simon looked after our boy Buddy for a few days while we were away. It was a last minute booking as we'd been let down by family, so we were a little nervous as first time Rover users. Tracey and Simon put us at ease immediately. They have a real passion for dogs and were super understanding of Buddy's character and background. They made sure he was safe and loved the whole time he was there. We had daily videos and photos which we loved! Most importantly, Buddy settled in like he was part of their family and absolutely loved staying with them. We won't look anywhere else now for Buddy's holidays! We've found his people and trust them 100% with our boy. Thank you Tracey and family for loving our boy and taking such great care of him.”

“Jackie and family were fantastic with Wally from start to finish. She made a real effort to understand his needs beforehand and ensured he felt completely at home during his stay. Communication was great, and she was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up, which made everything so easy for us. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and Wally came back relaxed, happy, and very well looked after. We felt totally confident leaving him in her care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming environment for their dog!”

I only look after dogs exclusively from one family so the environment is peaceful and calm.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life! I greatly miss my old English sheepdogs - Alfie and Digby, who I was lucky to have for 15 years. From training, to dog sitting, to being with them in their final days, I will never forget the memories I have with them. Aside from Alfie and Digby, I have looked after many breeds including: Poodle mixes, Labradors, Spaniels, Sharpeis, Staffies, Terriers, Dachshunds and Weimaraners I lived with Betsy the cocker spaniel for 9 months in shared accommodation and did everything from feeding, walking and taking her to the vets. I’m looking to either be in your home for safety and calm, or be the friendly face that visits them, plays with them and takes them for walks! Having looked after so many dogs, I understand the care, love and commitment they need. I live in a cottage with a third of an acre garden, perfect for dogs. The top of the garden is secure, whilst the bottom end has much lower boundaries. If your dog needs quieter stimuli, I am on very quiet road which has little traffic. I like the pups to have blankets and toys with smells from home to increase their comfort staying with me. In your home, knowing where essentials are, understanding any underlying signs of discomfort and, what to do if a situation arises are really important to me. I want your pets to feel as loved as they are by you!
“We do not normally leave our dog with anyone, so the thought of arranging for a stranger to have him for the day, was quite daunting initially. But we shouldn’t have worried, we arranged to meet Beatriz before the day and the actual day went without any stress. I would recommend Beatriz and would have no problem of using Rover again.”

“Maria was so lovely with our dog Chester. She took excellent care of him and even brushed him and he returned smelling better than he's ever smelt in his life!! Thank you so much!”

About: !!!IMPORTANT: I’ll have bathroom renovations in July. If your dog(s) is sensitive to noises, please do not book! Thank you!:) Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 7 years old, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I moved from Hungary to the UK in October 2025, and after our dog left in December, the house has felt very empty without a pet around. Although I became an engineer, I always loved spending time with animals, and back home friends often trusted me to look after their cats while they were away. I’m calm, reliable, patient, and currently have plenty of free time for walks, visits, playtime, and giving your pets lots of attention and care. I work from home full-time, so I’m available for pet care all day long. I can easily adjust to your dog’s schedule for walks, playtime, meals, and cuddles. I’m also happy to do overnight boarding or weekend stays whenever needed. I have a fully fenced yard and a safe, pet-friendly home where your dog would spend most of the time inside with me. The house is calm and secure, and I can crate your dog if needed. Playtime is always supervised in the fenced garden.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child and have always had a special bond with them. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including playful young pups and senior dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and attention. I provide loving, reliable care and treat every dog as part of my family. I currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and provide attentive care throughout the day. I can accommodate dog boarding during weekdays and weekends, ensuring pets receive plenty of companionship, exercise, and care while their owners are away. I provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for pets in my spacious home with a large garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and exercise. I also have my own friendly 3-year-old Cavapoo, Poppy, who loves having canine company and can help your dog feel happy and relaxed. I always treat every pet with care, patience, and attention, making sure they feel secure and part of the family while they are staying with me.
“Coco stayed with Donna and family for two days of day care this week. She was very quick to respond to messages and told me all I needed to know beforehand. Coco literally pulled us to Donna’s door when we arrived for the second day! After collecting Coco she is relaxed and happy so has clearly had just the right amount of exercise and must have felt secure and comfortable during her stay. I would definitely recommend Donna and hope that she and the children will have Coco to stay again in the near future!”

About: 📍 Currently actively booking for mid August to mid September 2026 with very flexible availability 📍 Hey there, my name is Rebecca! I'm a 27 year old vet student and pet sitter. I have lots of great experience with a variety of species through my vet training and life in general! I have been involved in both the cattery and dog shelter of the Galway SPCA. I also worked closely with small mammals, and rescued my colleagues from a loose ferret once! I discovered a love of sighthounds in particular and always really enjoy working with them. I have been casually pet sitting for the past five years, until last year when I began using another app that was popular in my area. I had several regular dog visit/ walk clients - new puppies to the more mature. I am happy to do on and off-lead walking, where appropriate and safe. I will follow instructions on whatever training you are working on with your pet. I am confident administering medication. Unfortunately, I cannot accept very strong or difficult to handle dogs due to chronic back pain. I would be keen to build a trusting relationship with any pet I care for and strive for respectful and honest communication with pet owners. I give pets my full attention and aim to leave them tuckered out but happy! I send a detailed update after my visit including some photos. I'm always careful to include any concerns. ✅ Please Note: House Sitting: I am not currently staying overnight in client’s houses. This option is suitable if you would like to have me sit with your pet during the day/evening, while at work or socialising. Please get in touch to discuss! 😊 Boarding/Day Care: I live in an apartment which has a small balcony and unfenced patio space - suitable for quick potty breaks. There are lots of easily accessible nice walks in the area for longer exercise. Walks: Available to pick up/drop off and supervise visits to local secure dog paddocks. My Uni schedule varies each week but I will aim to keep my calendar as updated as possible. I am keen to build a base of regular/semi-regular clients, having recently moved back to North Somerset. There are times when I am required on-campus 9am-5pm but I do my best to be flexible. Do get in touch if there's anything you'd like to discuss - I'm more than happy to answer any queries 😁 I am always careful entering and exiting the house to prevent any escapes. I diligently use any equipment or restraint advised by owners to keep everyone safe. I always do my best to read an animals behaviour so as not to cross their boundaries and ensure everyone is as safe and happy as possible during the visit. I welcome owner advice about individual pets as they usually know their animal best!

“We were a bit unsure about leaving our puppy Wilbur with someone, as he’s only 11 months and very full of energy! But Tasha was super friendly, calm, and did an amazing job with him. She sent us photos and a video, and it was clear he was having the best time. Wilbur came back happy, relaxed, and properly chilled, he even went to bed early after such an exciting day! Definitely worth the 25-minute drive, and we’d love for him to stay with Tasha again. 🐾”

We have various jobs and hobbies, yet we are very flexible and can usually cater to the needs of the animals are the requests of the pet owner. About: 🐾 Are you worried about leaving your anxious dog, rescue dog, or new puppy with someone they don't know? I completely understand. Finding the right person to care for your dog can feel like a huge decision. We all want to know our dogs are safe, happy, and cared for by someone who genuinely understands them. That's where I can help 💛 👋 Hi, I'm Vicky! I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight house sitting, and care for multi-dog households across Portishead, Clevedon, and the surrounding North Somerset area. A little bit about me — when I'm not with dogs, you'll usually find me exploring local woodland trails, countryside walks, and coastal paths 🌿🌊 I've always loved being outdoors, which means I'm constantly discovering new dog-friendly places to enjoy with my four-legged clients! My journey into dog welfare began through volunteering in rescue and rehoming, including supporting Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and PetRehomer 🏡 Working with dogs from different backgrounds taught me just how much patience, understanding, and consistency can help a dog build confidence and feel safe. Alongside pet sitting, I also have experience working in dog daycare environments, caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and energy levels 🐕🐕🦺 From energetic spaniels and doodles who are always ready for their next adventure, to nervous rescue dogs who need a little extra reassurance, I've learned that every dog is different and deserves an approach tailored to them. A huge turning point for me was caring for Elvis 🐶 (pictured in my profile), a Covid dog with severe separation anxiety. Helping him feel safe, settled, and confident sparked my passion for canine behaviour and inspired me to continue learning everything I could about welfare, training, and emotional wellbeing. 🐾 Dogs I Particularly Enjoy Working With 💛 Nervous and sensitive dogs 💛 Rescue and rehomed dogs 💛 Puppies and young dogs 💛 Small and companion breeds 💛 Poodle crosses and doodles 💛 Dogs who thrive on routine and consistency 💛 Multi-dog households Every dog is unique. Some love adventure and enrichment, while others are happiest with calm companionship and a predictable routine. I tailor my care to the individual dog in front of me. 🎓 Qualifications & Ongoing Study 📚 Clinical Canine Behaviour (currently studying) 🩹 Canine First Aid 🐕 Dog Training Studies 🥩 Canine Health & Nutrition 🐾 Therapy Dog Qualification 🌈 Pet Loss Grief Support I'm also fully insured 🛡️ and DBS checked ✔️ 🌿 Walks, Adventures & Quality Time Whether your dog enjoys a gentle sniff-filled stroll, a countryside adventure, woodland trails, or coastal walks, I tailor every walk to suit their personality and needs 🐾 One of my favourite parts of the day is watching a dog settle into their walk at their own pace. Sometimes that means exploring somewhere new, and sometimes it means stopping to investigate every single lamppost! 😄 And yes... for the dogs who firmly believe 🎾 BALL IS LIFE 🎾, I am more than happy to join in! 🏡 Why I Focus on House Sitting Many dogs cope best when they can remain in the comfort of their own home. Keeping familiar surroundings, smells, routines, and sleeping arrangements can make a huge difference, particularly for anxious dogs, rescue dogs, and puppies still building confidence. When caring for your dog in their home, I'll maintain their usual routine as closely as possible while providing plenty of companionship, enrichment, exercise, and cuddles along the way. 📸 You'll receive regular pupdates, photos, videos, and honest updates throughout, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. ❤️ My Promise Safety, welfare, and kindness always come first. I take the time to understand every dog's personality, routine, preferences, and individual needs. My goal is simple: to help your dog feel safe, understood, and genuinely comfortable while you're away. One of the best parts of what I do is seeing a nervous dog slowly relax and realise they're okay 💛🐾 💌 I'd love to hear about you and your dog! If you're looking for calm, reliable care from someone experienced with anxious, rescue, and sensitive dogs, feel free to get in touch. I'm always happy to arrange a relaxed meet and greet before booking and answer any questions you may have 🐶💕 I mainly provide care in the pet owner’s home across Portishead, Clevedon and surrounding North Somerset areas, as most dogs are happiest and most relaxed in their own environment 🏡🐶 I keep your dog’s normal routine consistent — feeding times, walks, rest, and house rules. This is especially important for anxious dogs, rescue dogs, puppies, and dogs with separation anxiety, where routine really helps them feel secure. My approach is calm, steady, and predictable so your dog can relax and feel safe while you’re away. I am fully insured and DBS checked, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe, responsible hands. Before any booking, I take time to understand your dog properly — their routine, personality, triggers, and what helps them feel comfortable. That preparation really makes a difference. I mainly provide care in the pet owner’s home across Portishead, Clevedon and surrounding North Somerset areas, because most dogs are just so much more relaxed in their own space 🏡🐶 I keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible — feeding times, walks, rest, house rules… all of it. This is especially important for anxious dogs, rescue dogs, puppies, and dogs with separation anxiety, who can really feel the difference when things change. My aim is always a calm, steady environment where your dog can just relax and be themselves. I am fully insured and DBS checked, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe, responsible hands. Before any booking, I always take time to understand your dog properly — their routine, personality, quirks, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. It makes a huge difference!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and budgies since I was 10! We had our family dog who I walked, fed, and washed from ages 12-18 when I left for university, and currently have 2 cats who I also care for. I currently work full time from home with a flexible schedule, and am happy to be available in the early morning, lunch time, or after work or dinner :) I’m happy to pick up and drop off dogs from your home and have been trusted to do this before using different apps! I’ve also house sat before to look after various animals :)
About: My background as a professional animal trainer with 10 years of hands-on experience, including working with a wide range of species means I have a deep understanding of animal behaviour and behaviour modification. This helps me read body language, prevent issues before they arise, and support pets who may be anxious, reactive, or who struggle adjusting to new environments. I place a strong emphasis on high welfare standards and kind, ethical handling. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and I tailor my care to each animal’s individual needs. I’m comfortable supporting young animals as they learn good habits, and providing thoughtful care for senior pets who may need a slower pace or extra consideration and everything in between. Above all, I aim to make pets feel safe, understood, and relaxed while giving owners peace of mind.
About: I have been a pet owner all my life and have had a variety of pets. I live in with my partner and our Border Collie who is very friendly. Being a mum, pet owner and previously working with young children has made me the kind, caring, patient, flexible and reliable person I am today. I understand that every animal is unique and has different needs and will care for them in a way that is best for each and everyone of them. I have been walking family and friends dogs for a while now as well as owning 2 cats in the past and owning dogs. I have always loved cats and dogs and I have been around them since a young age. In fact my dog walking started as a child when I would call on all the neighbours to walk their dogs. Caring pet owners know that most pets adjust better to their owner’s absence and experience less anxiety and stress when they can remain in their home environments. I can make this possible with daily visits to your home. In addition to meals, playtime, TLC. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope to hear from you in the future. Kind regards Lyndsey Looking after and playing with my puppy Guinness is a part of me and my partner's daily routine. On Weekends & Bank Holidays we often go out for especially long walks and would love to bring another dog along with us for a friend for our dog! We have vast experience of dog walking. I understand that every animal is unique and has different needs and will care for them in a way that is best for each and everyone of them. Caring pet owners know that most pets adjust better to their owner’s absence and experience less anxiety and stress when they can remain in their home environments.

About: Over 20 years dog and cat experience, I'm reliable, loving and fit. Nurturing and playful with lots of time and attention to give to your dog. “Charlotte was amazing at looking after Lucy. We received plenty of photos and updates on how she was doing and how at home she made herself! Would not hesitate to book up with Charlotte again. Thank you!”

“Very caring towards my senior dog. Excellent communication whilst on walks and sleeps. They really took extra care as Picasso has his additional needs and I am very grateful. Thank you I would highly recommend”

“Henry, our cocker spaniel, seemed very relaxed and happy after his two night stay, and I am confident he was very well looked after by Emoke and her partner. We appreciated the updates and photos, and definitely hope to become a repeat customer.”

“Our dog Pepper is only 14 weeks old and we can see she had an amazing time with Maria. Maria is obviously a real dog whisperer, as Pepper is as happy as when we left her. Thank you so much Maria!!!”

“Nina took really good care of my friendly rescue dog (also called Nina!). When I picked her up, she was relaxed and seemed to have had a chilled time :) We recieved quick and helpful replies to all messages, and pics too. We'll be booking in again - thank you!”

“Tetiana was absolutely fab! We had a nightmare with our kennel booking and needed someone to watch our (rather large) dog at very short notice, and Tetiana came to the rescue. She provided us with frequent updates and photographs throughout our dog’s stay and made sure he got plenty exercise during the day too. She has a huge back garden and her own dog, who was a great play buddy for ours. Honestly, she’s brilliant and I’d recommend her to anyone, having already passed her details to other family members who may need her in future. Thanks Tetiana for all your help.”

“Ellie was by the far the most attentive and caring sitter Bugsy has had. Great communication and a genuine love of all the dogs, we look forward to having her look after Bugsy again in the future for sure.”

“Josh is such a good Dogsitter! Jorgy loves him and he seems as he really enjoys his time with him. Josh kept us updated everyday. He is super communicative and did follow all of our instructions for Jorgy. Recommend him to anyone ❤️”

About: I am a lifelong dog lover, having owned dogs for many decades. Our lovable Trudy adores other dogs and will be much happier with other dogs in the house, which is one reason we've decided to board dogs on Rover. I will be the caregiver for your dog; the rest of the family will love and entertain your dog as if our own. Every dog is different, and we're happy to adapt to their routine and whatever their personality requires. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, gets plenty of attention, and has a great time while you're away. I work from home and so I'm almost always around, excepting an occasional night out. We have a large fenced garden and so we let dogs in and out throughout the day as they desire, depending on weather of course. We play ball, and chasing squirrels and such gives plenty of exercise. For winter rainy days, we do neighborhood walks instead. We are almost always at home and keep an eye on the dogs throughout the day. We let dogs sleep in the TV snug on sofa or floor. When we are occasionally out, we bring them in the house, left to wander as they please. We open feed Trudy, but can follow whatever feeding arrangements you require.
“Thanks so much to Nina and her family for their warm welcome for Polly into their home. Nina had such a positive energy and really connected with Polly. It was very reassuring to know that she was being well looked after. Thank you!!”
