Some helpful things to share include: 🐾 Their daily routine – feeding times, walk schedules, and bedtime. 🎾 Favourite activities – toys, games, or comfort spots. 🚫 Dislikes or triggers – people, animals, or situations they’re not keen on. 💡 What you’d like from my service – a tired pup after a long walk, companionship to ease separation, or peace of mind knowing they’re safe and cared for in familiar surroundings. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make their time with me feel just like home.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor the day to your dog or cat’s needs and personality. For dogs, Portishead and the surrounding areas are full of beautiful walks—coastal paths, woodlands, open fields, and local parks, all great for exercise and adventure. We’ll explore at a pace that suits them, whether it’s a lively runabout or a gentle stroll with plenty of sniffing stops. Back at home, there’s always time for play, cuddles, and relaxation. For cats, that might be interactive play sessions with their favourite toys, grooming, or simply curling up together for some company. My goal is to give your pets the right mix of stimulation, comfort, and companionship so they’re happy and relaxed while you’re away.

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started pet sitting at around 12 years old (under my parents’ close supervision!) and since then I’ve cared for or owned almost every kind of pet you can imagine—from the usual dogs, cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs, to lizards, stick insects, and even geese! I now specialise in caring for pets in their own home environment, giving them the comfort of familiar surroundings while you’re away. With many ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews from happy clients, I bring experience, reliability, and a genuine love of animals to every booking.

Katy made a drop in visit to see my dog, she sent me notifications of arriving and leaving as well as photos of my dog playing in the garden. Katy visited for a meet and greet before the drop in and spent over half an hour learning everything that she needed to know about the house and my dog. I will definitely use Katy again and recommend her. She is very experienced and confident around dogs.
