I’m looking to either be in your home for safety and calm, or be the friendly face that visits them, plays with them and takes them for walks! Having looked after so many dogs, I understand the care, love and commitment they need.

I live in a cottage with a third of an acre garden, perfect for dogs. The top of the garden is secure, whilst the bottom end has much lower boundaries. If your dog needs quieter stimuli, I am on very quiet road which has little traffic. I like the pups to have blankets and toys with smells from home to increase their comfort staying with me. In your home, knowing where essentials are, understanding any underlying signs of discomfort and, what to do if a situation arises are really important to me. I want your pets to feel as loved as they are by you!

Information Charlotte A. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any special need or anxiety, please let me know! I’m unable to have huskies, German shepherds, or severely reactive dogs but if they’re afraid of certain breeds I can accommodate!
A typical day
Making sure your dogs are stimulated physically and mentally, whether that be through play, finding and retrieving treats, or walks. Once your pups are tired out, I love nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa while they take a snooze!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life! I greatly miss my old English sheepdogs - Alfie and Digby, who I was lucky to have for 15 years. From training, to dog sitting, to being with them in their final days, I will never forget the memories I have with them. Aside from Alfie and Digby, I have looked after many dogs including: Roger (cockapoo), Izzy (Australian labradoodle), Bess (Labrador), Cutie (Yorkie), Bella and Cassie (sharpei lab) and Betsy (cocker spaniel) to name a few! I lived with Betsy for 9 months in shared accommodation and did everything from feeding, walking and taking her to the vets.

Charlotte was amazing at looking after Lucy. We received plenty of photos and updates on how she was doing and how at home she made herself! Would not hesitate to book up with Charlotte again. Thank you!

Charlotte made Rossi feel extremely welcome

Fantastic sitter. My dogs loved her and were well taken care of. Our house was also clean and tidy when we returned.

Charlotte has been amazing right from our first contact. She came to my house to meet my dog and spent over an hour with us learning everything that she needed to know. She also met us for an hour and a half’s walk before I left so that she could get to know my dog fully. While I was away I got regular updates and photos which was very reassuring and the house was left exactly as before. I’ll definitely use Charlotte again and it’s great to have someone local that I can trust and rely on.
