Rosa was simply amazing with my pets! This full heartedly given loving care I never experienced before from any dog sitters! 🥹 I believe Rosa loved my dog Bozzy and my cat Lucy like they were her own pets, and I am so grateful for the treats, cuddles, the quality time Rosa provided to them! I highly recommend Rosa and her service!

Keira looked after my cat while I was away, she sent me photos and videos to reassure me that Carey was happy. Carey was happy to play with her favorite toy. She came to meet us prior to my trip to make sure she knew if there were particular things. Thank you very much

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, walking, bathing, brushing, drying and feeding them all, ive also had walks with 2 dogs at once with no issue. I've dealt with big old Labradors to energetic spaniels. I'm also currently doing a dog grooming and training course. I'm a student; I often have free periods, holidays, and quite a bit of free time. I have wanted to start getting out more, and dog walking is the best way for me to do that, in my mind. I'm unable to let dogs stay at my home sadly but I'm happy to stay at your home, to drop in, walk the dogs. I'll follow any instructions you guys give as you know your pets best.

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. My work is quite flexible so I can make time to play with your pet and show them the love and attention they need. Also happy to crate if required.

I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! She looked after my two cats and two guinea pigs for a week, popping in every day, and did a wonderful job. I was able to go away feeling completely relaxed, knowing my pets were in safe and caring hands. She always replied quickly to my messages and sent me lovely daily photo updates, which gave me great peace of mind. She was kind, reliable, and clearly cared so much for my pets. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to look after their animals. Thank you so much!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for several years through looking after my own pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve cared for my German Shepherd, Simba, for the past 3 years, as well as my three cats, Luna, Pumpkin and Stripy. Having both a dog and multiple cats has given me experience with very different personalities, routines and needs. With Simba, I’ve been responsible for his day-to-day care, including making sure he was fed on time, had plenty of exercise and stayed active and happy. I’ve bathed and groomed him, taken him to the vet whenever he needed medical attention, and given him medication on time when required. I’ve also learned to pay attention to changes in his behaviour, energy levels and general wellbeing so I can recognise when something isn’t quite right. Looking after my cats has been just as rewarding. I make sure Luna, Pumpkin and Stripy are fed according to their routine, have a clean and comfortable environment, and get plenty of attention and playtime. Because cats can each have such different personalities, I’ve learned to give them space when they need it while also knowing when they want affection, stimulation or company. For me, looking after pets isn’t just about feeding them and making sure they’re safe. I really enjoy keeping them entertained, giving them lots of love and attention, playing with them and making sure they feel comfortable and settled. I understand that pets can miss their owners when they’re away, so I would want every pet I look after to feel cared for, relaxed and happy. I’m now looking to continue doing something I genuinely love by becoming a part-time pet sitter in Swansea. I’d be happy to follow each pet’s normal routine, including their feeding, walks, playtime, medication where required and anything else their owner asks me to keep consistent. I’d treat every pet as an individual and give them the same patience, care and affection that I give my own🐈🐶💕 I'm available any day/time. I prefer working on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and both the weekends. I am free to adjust and be flexible according to your flexibility! I can bathe your pet(s) if needed, take them out on walks, feed and water them on time and keep them company whilst prioritising their safety.

About: Although I am new to pet sitting professionally, I have grown up around animals and have cared for cats and dogs throughout my life. I have 2 family dogs at home who I regularly care for and spend time with. I am comfortable feeding, walking and following individuals routines, alongside a lot of cuddles! I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of leaving your pets with someone trustworthy. I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I am starting my Masters degree in September and will be working part time alongside my studies. This means I will have good availability around my commitments, including days off, evenings and weekends. I can be flexible and I am happy to discuss availability with each other to ensure I can provide consistent care for their pet. As I live in a shared professionals house, I am unable to provide boarding or care for pets at my home. However, I am more than happy to provide care in your pets own home, including walking, feeding, playtime and companionship. I will always follow their usual routines and I am happy to provide regular updates while you are away.

About: My name is Egdana, I am an animal lover from Venezuela and live with my husband in St Thomas in Swansea (near the city centre). Both of us have had pets for most of our lives. Ever since I was 15 I have looked after pets, this includes dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, and even a pig! I work from home, so I am always available. We have 2 indoor sphynx cats, Chi and Luna, so it is important that your dog tolerates cats (they can be kept separate if necessary, but need to be accepting of them). We also have 2 guinea pigs that live in the garden, and although they will be kept in an enclosed space away from your dog, it is important that their presence does not drive your dog crazy as is the case with some breeds! We have a fully enclosed courtyard so your dog can go outside without any risk of being lost. I work from home, so I will always be here to care for your pet. My husband is also here in the evenings to help. We are working on making a fully enclosed catio (a small courtyard with a net covering it), so your pet can enjoy going outside without any risk of being lost. We have 2 indoor cats of our own that we care for, so you can have confidence that your pet will be safe here.

About: I’ve had a pet cat my entire life, her name is pearl and she’s 21. As I’ve had her my whole life i know how to take care of pets very well and know what they need while also enjoying spending time with them very much. As my cats quite old I also understand the importance in care elderly pets need. I’m currently a student at university, hence during summer Im completely free to spend time with your pets and to give them all my attention. I have an elderly cat who I attend most of the time at home to make sure she’s healthy & happy. If that means fun with toys, giving food or medicine, cleaning or anything else, I can do it.

I'm a caring, patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets, whether that's playing with them, giving them attention, or helping them stick to their usual routine. I work part time in a local school, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight stays. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I aim to provide the utmost level of care and affection. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and having a great time. I enjoy being outside and keeping active, and would be thrilled to take your dog for walks, and give them the attention they deserve! Small/medium sized dogs, and puppies are my expertise but welcome all ages and sizes. I understand how special your furry friend is to you, and I will treat your pet as my own and give it all the love, care and attention they need! The 2 puppers featured in my profile are currently living up in Scotland with my parents, so won’t be with me when I’m caring for your fur babies. You’ll receive plenty of pupdates from myself during our time together and I look forward to get to know you and your lovely pets! I am in the final stages of finishing my masters, I work from home and alongside my athletic career, I have plenty of time to devote to your pups in the great outdoors - come rain or shine!!!

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t just care for pets — I also care for their environment. Alongside feeding, check-ins and wellbeing visits, I specialise in pet mess cleaning inside the home and in the garden. Pet care fits into my routine through planned daily and weekly visits alongside my cleaning services. I schedule short pet visits, feeding and check-ins around regular clients, which allows me to be reliable and consistent. This means pets are visited at agreed times, routines are followed, and owners can feel confident their pets are cared for without disruption 🐾 I care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable and routines are already established. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, litter trays, toilet routines and any specific needs. Safety and hygiene are a priority. I clean and sanitise pet areas during visits, always wash my hands between homes, and ensure doors, gates and litter areas are left secure. I’m calm, patient and completely judgement-free, which helps pets feel relaxed and safe. Owners can trust that their pets — and their home — are treated with care and respect at all times 🐾

Absolutely wonderful petsitter, took fab care of my very spoilt cat and answered every one of my helicopter mum questions leading up to the pet sitting. Should consider a jump in to pet photography, got some amazing pictures and videos. My girl has discerning taste and she loved Cae right from the get go, but he was still so good with her and gave lots of sniffs. Thank you so much Cae ❤️

There are 323 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Swansea. About 92% of Swansea sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
