Rosa did a drop in for our six month old labrador puppy. She facilitated a meet and greet beforehand which was great and gave us a lot of confidence that she would take good care of our pup. On the day, she provided us with updates and followed our instructions perfectly. We would recommend Rosa.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I'm a caring, patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets, whether that's playing with them, giving them attention, or helping them stick to their usual routine. I work part time in a local school, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight stays. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I aim to provide the utmost level of care and affection. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and having a great time. Throughout the day, I make time for play, cuddles, training, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I currently work part-time in a local school so have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve and ensure they feel relaxed, loved, and well looked after. A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I love being outdoors and am a confident walker, so your dog can enjoy long, enriching walks and lots of opportunities to explore. If we come back muddy after an adventure, there's no need to worry - I’ll make sure your dog gets cleaned up before settling back in. I also have a small enclosed garden to keep your dog safe if they are staying with me and I'll make sure to keep you updated with messages and photos.

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. My work is quite flexible so I can make time to play with your pet and show them the love and attention they need. Also happy to crate if required.

Danielle looked after our cat Bella with daily visits for feeding and clearing the litter tray. Bella can be cautious and timid with new people but she obviously bonded very quickly with Danielle - who kept us updated with daily photos. We are very pleased with Danielle’s excellent service and would definitely book her again!

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t just care for pets — I also care for their environment. Alongside feeding, check-ins and wellbeing visits, I specialise in pet mess cleaning inside the home and in the garden. Pet care fits into my routine through planned daily and weekly visits alongside my cleaning services. I schedule short pet visits, feeding and check-ins around regular clients, which allows me to be reliable and consistent. This means pets are visited at agreed times, routines are followed, and owners can feel confident their pets are cared for without disruption 🐾 I care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable and routines are already established. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, litter trays, toilet routines and any specific needs. Safety and hygiene are a priority. I clean and sanitise pet areas during visits, always wash my hands between homes, and ensure doors, gates and litter areas are left secure. I’m calm, patient and completely judgement-free, which helps pets feel relaxed and safe. Owners can trust that their pets — and their home — are treated with care and respect at all times 🐾

About: ABOUT ME I have loads of experience with dogs including nervous dogs. I use to take emergency fosters from the local dogs home when they were struggling. I've got experience of nervous dogs, large breeds, energetic dogs and those with special diets and medical needs. I just get dogs on a visceral level (more than humans!). I've got a large completely walled in garden and I'm close to the canal path for lovely walks. Loads of parking out the front of my place for drop offs and collections. While you are off enjoying yourself your dog will be well cared for in a stress free environment. MESSAGES I aim to answer messages as timely as possible. However, sometimes I'm out walking or doing other dog related things like playing ball. Don't worry I will respond. If you are messaging late in the evening you can expect me to answer in the morning. Rover doesn't permit us to exchange phone numbers untill a booking has been made so I won't be able to see your phone number if you send it before then. WHAT CAN I OFFER? Apart from a lovable and safe environment, walks, playtime, cuddles, regular updates and home from home. PRE RESERVATION General pre reservation enquiries I'm happy to message with you on Rover and/or do a 15 minute video or phone call We can have a chat about your dog and your needs. I am happy to show you my home and garden too via our video call. AFTER YOU ARE HAPPY AND WISH TO RESERVE MEET &GREET If you need a meet and greet in person:- I'm happy to arrange a 30 min meet & greet at my home or in certain circumstances I can visit you and your dog in your home (if you are within a 15 mile radius) PAYMENT This is made through the app and protected by Rover. I can not see your bank or card details and your money is protected by Rover's policies and protections. PHOTO & VIDEO UPDATES Where requested I will send you updates of your doggy daily so you can see him or her enjoying their stay. I am and writer/publisher of children's books and meditation music. I work and spend a lot of time at home My children are adults and have left to do their own thing so I have time on my hands to enjoy dogs and their company. I'm active and walk everyday. My home has a large garden which is completely walled and secure. Your pooch is completely safe here to run about in and out of the home with toys and lots of company and stimulation. We go for walks and outings which are suitable for the age, health and breed of the dog.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, I’m patient, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy taking the time to build trust with each dog at their own pace. I love being outdoors with them and creating a calm, safe environment where they can feel secure. I really value the innocence, gentleness, and sense of play they bring into life. They’ve taught me a lot about presence, patience, and finding happiness in simple moments. I’m open to caring for both dogs and cats. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I don’t mix them during care. I’m happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or gentle care at home. I take the time to understand each animal as an individual and what helps them feel happiest and most at ease. I understand the importance of respecting their boundaries, especially if they have trauma. I have experience caring for rescue dogs and genuinely love creating a safe space they ve always deserved. Please let me know if there is anything I need to know about your pets, in terms of special needs or behaviour. Are their recalls good? Can they be off lead? There isnt anywhere they wont be allowed in my flat they are free to roam as they please, when I am caring for animals if they are well enough and enjoy being out I tend to spend most the day outside with them. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions :) I work for myself from home. I don't have a rigid structure to my weeks so drop me a msg and see if I am available for the dates you need a sitter. I am willing to do anything that makes your dog happy and feel safe. Whether that is a long walk,a cuddle, play dates with other dogs. I would get to know your dog and see what works best for them.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Swansea

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Swansea on Rover is £13.8 per Visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 275 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Swansea. About 93% of Swansea sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
