About: I have over 9 years of experience caring for dogs in home and local settings. I am DBS checked, insured, and trained in pet first aid. I specialise in older and nervous dogs, providing calm, patient care and keeping their routines consistent. I offer walking, feeding, medication routines, and a safe, relaxed environment. Being in a rural area allows for quiet, low-stress walks. My aim is to provide reliable, caring support so every dog feels safe and comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my day as I plan my routine around visits, so I always have enough time for each pet. I’ve been caring for animals for years, so it’s part of my normal lifestyle rather than something separate. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to do morning, daytime, or evening visits. I always make sure pets, especially older or nervous ones, are given calm, unhurried care and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and keep their normal routine. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding times, litter tray cleaning, fresh water, and any specific care needs. I take a calm and gentle approach, especially with older or nervous pets, and always let them set the pace for interaction. If a pet enjoys company, I’ll spend time playing or sitting with them; if they prefer space, I simply make sure they’re safe and settled. I also do a quick wellbeing check during each visit and make sure the home is left clean, secure, and exactly as I found it.
“Excellent service. Kyle couldn’t have done anymore. Kept in touch and sent lots of pictures. Dixon has been really well looked after and is a very happy Boi. Will deffo book again in the future.”

“Hannah is so gentle and gets our Maggie and her fickleness. Maggie loves people and especially those who spoil her with love and care as Hannah does. Thank you happy Maggie and us.”

We currently have two Dogs and two Cats of our own. Please give me an opportunity to see how I can help, my rates are reasonable due to being new to this site but also to help others. My availability reflects on the time set aside to look after your pets, therefore this can be tailored on a individual basis. Therefore this can be discussed on booking. I have a enclosed Garden and the house is pet proof, this ensures that there is no hazards within my home. Also if I can visiting your home, I will make sure I take care of ensuring your pet gets the care they deserve.
“Rosa has been wonderful with our two dogs. She carried out an initial meeting visit which was really helpful and we immediately saw how calm, reapectful and caring she is. When she took the dogs out for walks, she sent us lots of adorable photos and videos of them, and of their cuddles afterwards. Rosa kept us informed at every visit which was invaluable to us as we were reassured that they were happy. We will definitely recommend Rosa to anyone, and hopefully if she has availability in the future, would certainly use her services again. I'm sure our dogs would love seeing her! 🙂”

About: Hi, my name is Angharad and I’m from Wales in the UK. Throughout my life, I have cared for friends and family members pets, taking dogs for walks, feeding and playing with cats, feeding and cleaning out rabbits, chickens and feeding sheep, horses and pigs. I absolutely love interacting with animals! I have a degree in Animal Behaviour and have various work experience including working at rescue centres, looking after pets at the vets, assisting with puppy classes and helping at an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. I now work for Guide Dogs, an assistance dogs charity that helps visually impaired people with independent mobility. I train dogs from 12 months the guiding task to guide someone who is blind or visually impaired. I am a qualified dog care and welfare assistant, guide dog trainer and guide dog mobility specialist. I have experience with reactive dogs, separation anxiety, recall issues and I always use positive training methods. I have cared for numerous guide dogs in my home over the last 10 years to assess their social behaviour. I am very comfortable with dogs and love giving them fuss, taking them for walks and providing them with enrichment. I am frequently asked to care for friends and family members pets along with house sitting as I am reliable, trustworthy and love caring for animals. I am often asked back to the homes as I keep everything tidy and send updates to the owners. I frequently look after someone’s cat (Cleo) in my village who is nervous of people but she comes out and interacts with me often and I love her to bits! I have also completed dog and cat sits in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and London. These were amazing experiences and I would love to do more! I would be able to walk your dog over weekends and through the week around my working hours. I work remotely and could pick up and drop off the dog for walking. I would be happy to do a video call before dog walking/house sitting so we can meet each other and talk about what’s best for your pet! I’d ensure I spent all my time with the animal in the house and would give you updates! I’d love to know as much as possible to ensure the pet’s needs are met. I’d follow any instruction and would keep your home clean and tidy.
About: I've grown up with cats, but had a lot of experience with dogs as well and feel really comfortable with both. I recently worked in a cat and dog shelter in Vietnam, looking after multiple cats and dogs at the same time. I currently work part time so have lots of time to look after dogs :) I can do week day or weekends, depending on what's needed. I have a fenced garden, which is safe for dogs to be in. I also have a large home for lots of room for pets to roam.
About: 🐾 Puppy Training & Socialization – I have hands-on experience with crate training, potty training, and teaching basic commands, making those early days less stressful for both pups and their owners. 🐾 Senior Pet Care – I’m comfortable supporting older dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort and attention. 🐾 Safety & Reliability – I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m alert on walks, careful about routines, and respectful of each pet’s unique personality and needs. 🐾 Tailored Care – Whether it’s high-energy play, quiet cuddle time, or maintaining strict feeding schedules, I adjust to what makes your pet happiest. Above all, I want you to feel complete peace of mind knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, which means my availability varies slightly week to week. I view this as a strength—it allows me to offer care across a wide range of days and times, including weekdays and weekends. During my working days, I can accommodate walks and drop-in visits around my shifts (time dependant) On my 4 consecutive days off, I have extended availability, making me well-suited for overnight care, longer bookings, or pets who benefit from extra attention and consistency. This routine ensures I can be flexible for short visits while also offering dedicated, uninterrupted time for owners who need more comprehensive care. Regardless of the day, I make it a priority to maintain your pet’s usual routine so they feel secure and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority. When I’m in your home, I’ll respect your space and keep things just as you like them, while making sure your pet feels relaxed and secure. On walks, I always use a secure lead, keep a close eye on surroundings, and stick to safe routes. I know how important trust is, so I’ll care for your pets exactly how you would—lots of love, consistency, and attention to detail.

“Just come home from holiday after Emily looked after our 3 cats while we were away. Good communication and turned up on time twice a day. Daily photos’s litter trays and feeding morning and evenings. We have 1 nervous cat and after a few days they were best mates. Would highly recommend Emily for any pet sitting’s.”

“Charlotte came on a quick visit before I went away to familiarise herself with Chester and the layout of the house. Being well used to her own pets she was great with Chester. There were no problems whilst I was away and I was kept informed by photos etc. Chester was his usual self when I returned so he must have had a good time ! I will definitely use rover.com and hopefully Charlotte on my next weekend away. Many thanks, Jan”

“Hayley was fantastic, she looked after Odi for a day while we were staying in Pembrokeshire on holiday. We did a day trip to Skomer and sadly Odi couldn't come with us. She made the day work for us even when her own plans changed and didn't let us down. Her communication was great and prompt and she even met us in advance of the stay. She was flexible on timings and sent regular updates. Odi came back relaxed and happy from a great day. Thank you!”

“I booked Millie for a drop in at fairly short notice and she was great. Really good communication start to finish and I came home to a happy chap, would definitely ask again if needed 😊”
