“We had such a great experience with Nia as our dog minder! She kindly arranged a meet beforehand so the dogs could get to know her and her home, which instantly put me at ease. During their stay, she kept in touch regularly with plenty of updates on walks and mornings, which was so reassuring and let me know they were happy and well cared for. The communication was excellent, and it was clear how much care and attention both she and her partner gave. I honestly can’t thank them enough. Nia will definitely be my first point of contact whenever I need a dog minder again. Thank you.”

About: I have 10+ years of animal care I have a GSD, Yorkshire terrier, two rescue cats and two chickens. I have cared for a disabled cat for over a year. I live and breathe animals. My weekends are about my animals; I have a really large secure garden where they can potter about and enjoy the sun. Two bed house owned, they have full roam of the house, huge garden that’s fence secured. Camera at the front to ensure their safety. 1 walk a day usually at the beach this is around 45 minutes. I scatter feed treats in the garden for stimulation.

“Thank you for looking after my princess, Sixpence.. Mollie is a lovely host & I felt very relaxed leaving Sixpence for 2 nights. Sixpence was very well looked after. I can definitely recommend her & will definitely book again… thank you”

About: I have taken care of friend's dogs and owned dogs for the last 20 years. We offer a calm family environment with one 8 year old child who is used to having dogs around. We had a French bulldog for 15 years and now have a very gentle and loving labradoodle who loves the company of other dogs, small and large. We have a good sized fenced garden and have lots of lovely dog walking areas nearby. I work from home so I am able to make sure your dog gets lots of opportunities for toilet breaks and walks 🐾 I work from home and I am here the majority the time to care for your dog. We already have a dog who loves to explore the local area and would love another dog for company. My daughter is a very calm child and we have a very quiet home I have a fenced garden and a very friendly dog who loves playing. We are used to crating dogs so can accommodate that, if its your preference.

“I cannot recommend Anest enough. She is the most patient and compassionate person around animals. She looked after our cockapoo for 2 nights and I have never known him to be so content. After a rocky start, due to him being so chaotic, Anest managed to give him the best weekend, playing with her own dogs and plenty of beautiful walks in the sun, keeping us updated throughout the whole stay. We will definitely be rebooking again with Anest.”

“Jacob looked after our 15 week old Belgian Malinois for 4 days, communication was excellent he updated us with videos photos and messages so we felt completely at ease, Jacob followed our instructions on exercise and feeding very well and Bella was very happy and healthy on her return to us, We would highly recommend Jacob to anyone”

“I left my Cockapoo Bailey with Ellliw and her golden retriever Owen for 6 nights and everything was beyond expectations! Communication with El was spot on, we even did a meet and greet prior to socialise the dogs which went really well! I had regular updates, several a day, of Bailey’s walks or his downtime and naps indoors. He was so happy and got on so well with Owen that I couldn’t have picked a better dog boarder! Thank you! Highly recommend!👍”

“Evie is a wonderful sitter and really cares about the dog. She asks relevant questions and tries to ensure the lifestyle of the dog is taken into consideration during their stay. Updates are plentiful and any concerns are addressed/squashed instantly. Biffy is looking forward to spending more time and being fussed by Evie in the future”

“We left our dog Leia with Sophie for the weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was the first time we’ve left Leia with anyone other than family and she made us feel at ease. We received regular updates and videos, which really made a difference and reassured us while we were away. Leia came home happy and clearly very well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog boarder. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Leia!😊”

“Definitely recommend Meghan, very professional, excellent communication right from the start, plenty of updates with photos, and most importantly she was excellent with both my dogs and they seemed to really like her from the first day they met at the meet and greet which she did first to make sure they were all compatible.”

“Rhiannon was amazing, we booked for a weekend stay for our 15 year old dog and he absolutely loved it. I received constant updated with photos. I needed an emergency over night sit as our car broke down and Rhiannon was brill and it wasn't an issue. We shall definitely be visiting again :) 10 stars if I could!”

About: I enjoy being outdoors and regularly explore the beautiful beaches of Swansea - perfect for keeping your dog happy, active, and engaged. I’d love to meet your dog and give them the best possible time while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages - from cheeky, energetic puppies to senior dogs who need regular medical care and a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, having looked after everything from miniature schnauzers and chihuahuas to retrievers and german shepherds. I live alone with my own dog, Serpico - a friendly 3 year old lurcher cross, who loves playing and socialising with other dogs - so your doggo will always have great company. We follow a consistent routine with morning and evening walks, including time for off-leash runs, but I’m always happy to adapt to suit your dog’s individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured and relaxed while you’re away. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will only offer boarding on these days as well as weekends. Which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your doggo. I usually go for a morning walk with my doggo at either the beach or park, providing space for a good run around. Followed up with a chilled evening walk to wind down. We’re happy to change up our schedule to meet your dog’s needs. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own, who will act as a sociable playmate. I would love to meet up with you and your dog before boarding to make sure a connection is made with your doggo and that they feel comfortable staying at our home.

“Absolutely fantastic cat sitter! We were away for a week on holiday, and Stephanie has been brilliant. We were provided regular updates with photos/videos of Moss and the communication throughout has been second to none. “Rosa was absolutely amazing with my four cats and Guinea pig. We’ve used many sitters before but I can honestly say Rosa is the best. She is so good with the animals and you can tell she truly cares about them. She was brilliant on her communication with us when we were away, sending daily updates and pictures (which we’d asked her to do because we were worried about one cat in particular). I will definitely be using Rosa again when we go away next and would recommend her to anybody looking for a kind, caring and reliable pet sitter. Thank you Rosa! X”

About: Welcome to PawsitiveVibeswithBex 🐾 Hi everyone! I’m Bex - and after many years in the hospitality industry, I’ve finally decided to follow my dream and spend my days doing what makes me happiest : spending time with dogs 🐶 Anyone who knows me will know that being around dogs is my ultimate happy place! I have a genuine love for animals ( especially dogs) and feel my happiest when surrounded by wagging tails. When I’m not being fully obsessed and doting on my own staffy, ‘Missy MooMoo’, you will find me volunteering at Cardiff Dogs Home, where I have been walking rescue dogs for over a year. It’s one of the most rewarding experiences - not only heart warming but also a great way to gain hands on experience with different breeds and temperaments. Walking rescue dogs has taught me so much : patience, awareness and the importance of compassion and empathy towards dogs who maybe fearful, reactive or hesitant. Im also not one to shy away from the more ‘difficult pups’ as I believe every dog deserves care and understanding. I’ve recently relocated from Penarth to Pontarddulais and am excited to offer the following services : 🐾DOG WALKING 🐾PET SITTING - at your home only. I do not offer this at my home I’m sorry. Also for cats, rabbits and other small pets. 🐾CHECK IN’S - for toilet breaks, feeding and cuddles! For now, as I am without a car I will be covering Pontarddulais, FForest and Hendy. I pride myself on being kind, compassionate , trustworthy and fun! Your pets are always going to feel happy, safe and like family while In my care. If you want to check out my socials it’s : Pawsitivevibes with Bex on Instagram and Facebook 💕 I’m available 7 days a week at any time of day. I’ve taken up dog walking and pet sitting as a full time job recently. I will follow pet owners instructions of house rules and any schedules for feeding, medication and toilet breaks. I will stick to your pets routine as much as possible to maintain normalcy.

“Carys has been great at communicating with me during Bellas first stay with her, lots of photos and updates which was really reassuring. Carys welcomed us both in to her home on Bellas first day which was also reassuring to see where Bella would be spending the day and that it was safe. Carys followed and took note of all Bella info and needs. On Bellas second day, she couldn't wait to get into the house and see Carys and her housemates, she ran up the steps and was jumping at the door! A great sign ?”

“I am so glad I found Rhiannon, I know my puppy Mabel is well looked after in her care and has the best time! Mabel comes home so happy and absolutely shattered after all the fun she has at doggy daycare. 100% recommend!”

“Katy is utterly charming / great communicator and looked after our dog Tiki when we were in Swansea and need day care! I thoroughly recommend her and her dog who is gorgeous and friendly and gets on great with other dogs!”

“Amy looked after our golden Suki for the first time this week and I couldn't recommend her enough. The booking was last minute due to a change in work but Amy was able to provide doggy daycare for us. When Suki arrived she was a bit nervous and had an accident, Amy handled this wonderfully and put our mind at ease. Amy also took Suki on two walks seeking permission prior. I was able to ask questions and she kept in contact throughout the day with updates and pictures. I was really nervous leaving Suki with a stranger but would absolutely rebook Amy in the future. Thank you so much, she had a wonderful day ❤️”

I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I aim to provide the utmost level of care and affection. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and having a great time. Throughout the day, I make time for play, cuddles, training, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I currently work part-time in a local school so have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve and ensure they feel relaxed, loved, and well looked after. A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I love being outdoors and am a confident walker, so your dog can enjoy long, enriching walks and lots of opportunities to explore. If we come back muddy after an adventure, there's no need to worry - I’ll make sure your dog gets cleaned up before settling back in. I also have a small enclosed garden to keep your dog safe if they are staying with me and I'll make sure to keep you updated with messages and photos.

“Alicja looked after my dog for the weekend whilst I went away. I was kept updated with lots of pictures and knew Bailey was in good care. Bailey was happy with her and I would have no issues leaving Bailey with Alicja again. Thank you”

“Jacqueline made the boarding process so easy with frequent updates & photos as well as obvious care and delight looking after our excitable pet. We really appreciated this and hope to use Jacqueline again!”

Missy hasn’t pouted with us because we left her which shows she was cared for and content thank you and I will definitely use you again in the future 🐕🦺🐾”

“So kind and helpful! My dog is a very sweet old girl and needed someone calm and kind to rely on for gentle walks and food whilst I was away. We were so lucky to find Gaya, you can instantly tell how much she loves dogs and will really care about looking after them. She helped me as I struggled a bit with the app too :) and was really comminicative and helpful. Thank you!”

“Ellie was an absolute lifesaver taking Gunner on for boarding with quite a short notice period, and also dealing with last minute time changes for his pick up. Gunner was happy and relaxed (although excited to see me which is always nice!) when I picked him up which is always a good sign. Ellie was extremely professional, caring and I'd have no worries leaving him with her again.”

About: I started my journey on rover while I was in university in 2022, and having furry companions made my uni experience so much better. I now work from home in Abercrave, but still have plenty of time to care for new pups! I’m based in Abercrave and work full time from home, so am very flexible and would love to look after your four legged friends! I love nature and walking, so your dogs will always get plenty of exercise with me if they need it. I’ve had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love every one of them! I’m well equipped to deal with bigger, more high maintenance dogs due managing my own reactive GSD. Sadly, we lost my dog Oatie very recently to cancer. I used to love to explore with him, so know plenty of local spots. He was a very challenging dog, who could be reactive at times, leaving me with plenty of experience with dogs that can be tricky to handle, especially around strangers or other dogs. If you choose boarding, we have a lovely big & secure garden, with ample space for your dog(s) to explore. They will usually sleep in my room with me, but this is of course circumstantial on your pets needs.

“Kingsley was great when he looked after Milo when we attended our friends wedding. He kept us updated throughout the day by sending us photos and keeping in the loop with Milo’s activities. He was very flexible with the pick up time which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend and would definitely not hesitate booking Milo with Kingsley again.”
