With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, especially dogs. I offer calm, confident, and genuinely loving care tailored to each dogs needs. I’ve always owned working dogs, including spaniels and border collies, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. From high-energy adventurers to laid-back companions, I’m experienced in reading behaviour, maintaining routines, and providing structure alongside affection. Throughout my life I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, but dogs have always been my true passion. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priority, whether that’s on a walk, a drop-in visit, or extended care. You can expect reliable communication, respect for your home, and care that treats your dog like one of my own. On occasion, I can welcome one dog into our home based on timings and temperament with our two male working cocker spaniels. They are both extremely friendly and love to play with friends and are mixed with dogs regularly. Please note they are both fully intact, so females which are in season would not be able to stay with us.

I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routine, rules, and preferences as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their familiar environment, while giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of your home, keep things tidy, and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for. I am also CPR and First Aid trained

Adam has been an absolutely fantastic dog sitter for my 6 year old spaniel. From the very first visit, it was clear how patient, caring, and attentive he is with dogs. My spaniel can be quite energetic, but Adam handled him confidently and made sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Adam has walked my dogs many times and has consistently been patient, reliable, and great with them. One of my dogs is reactive, and Adam is always calm, attentive, and proactive in managing situations on walks. He takes responsibility seriously and genuinely cares about the dogs he is with. I trust him completely and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone dependable and dog-savvy, which is really important! My other two dogs are girls, and quite nervous with men, however with Adam, they really come out of their shell, and enjoy walks and Adam’s company.

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule, with three days working from home and two days in the office, which allows me to offer flexible and attentive pet care. On home-working days, I’m available for regular walks, check-ins, and companionship throughout the day. On office days, I provide morning and evening care as needed. I’m also fully available on weekends, allowing plenty of time for walks, sitting, and drop-in visits.
