As a veterinary student with 3 years of experience working in a veterinary practice, you can feel confident your pet(s) will be in safe and caring hands. I have always loved animals and am passionate about their health and wellbeing. I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare and a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Assistant, as well as a Higher Education Diploma in Veterinary Science. I worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a veterinary practice, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and handling a wide range of animals. I have also house sat for colleagues, including caring for dogs and cats that required medication, and I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, exercised, and maintaining their usual routines. I always aim to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away.

I prioritise the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet in my care. For house sitting, I maintain their usual routine and ensure they are settled and secure in their home. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, cared for, and given attention while keeping their routine consistent (the 30mins include a short walk within the time frame - please book a walk separately if a longer walk is wanted). With experience in a veterinary practice and as a veterinary student, I am confident handling a wide range of animals and their individual needs. I always treat every home with respect and ensure pets are well cared for at all times.

Danielle jumped in last minute to look after our 5 cats one of which needs medication. She provided updates and photos and checked in to let us know how they were all doing. Danielle looked after our dachshund Frank at very short notice and we honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. We received regular photo updates throughout, and Frank looked so happy, relaxed, and completely at home in her care. Not only did she take amazing care of Frank, but she also went above and beyond by completing household chores and leaving the house absolutely spotless when we returned. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was being so well cared for. A genuinely lovely, trustworthy, and reliable dog sitter, we will definitely be using Danielle again. Thank you so much!
Danielle, is loving and very empathetic towards animals , she’s a kind and gentle soul , who has all the time in the world for the 4 legged species. She cares for my animals as if they were her own between 6 cats and 2 dogs she loves them all equally tending to all their needs.

Schedule
During holidays, summer periods and weekends, I have very flexible availability and am generally free any time. During term time, I commute to university, so my availability varies depending on my timetable. For house sitting, I am available overnight and will only be away during my scheduled university hours. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I am available in the late afternoons and evenings. Please feel free to message me to discuss specific dates and arrangements.

- Before caring for your pet, it’s helpful to know about their routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, personality, any medical conditions or medications, and how they interact with people, other animals, and different environments. I’d also appreciate knowing about any triggers, fears, behavioural quirks, favourite activities, and emergency contact details so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care possible.
