About: I’ve always been a massive dog lover and have always taken care of any dogs that I was given the chance to. My family and family friends have trusted me to walk and feed their lovely pets, aging from puppies to 13 year old doggies. I also am willing to enforce good lead and walking manner in order to keep up your pup’s training. I am unemployed at this point in time. I am pretty much free the majority of the week. I will be working by a first come, first served basis. I have a spacious fenced garden. For walks, I would ask beforehand about your pups temperament(s) so that I will be prepared if need be. I am happy to walk reactive dogs, as long as a muzzle is provided (for precautions). I would not let your pup off their lead, unless I personally can trust them with their recall. About: I have years of experience working with and owning dogs. I have volunteered at Battersea Dogs and Cats as a Kennel Support Volunteer, and several years ago worked as an assistant to the Veterinary Nurses at Coombefield. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, including a German Shepherd and Springer cross Lab. I now own a working Cocker Spaniel called Goose. I am very confident in my abilities and approach with caring for animals, due to years of training and experience working and existing alongside them. I am happy caring for bigger dogs, elderly dogs with multiple needs, the more energetic breeds, and all in-between! I have recently had a short break from Rover whilst I moved back to Devon after living in London, I am very excited to start Rover back up again. I will love and look after your dog like they are my own so know they are in very safe and capable hands. The reviews on my profile from past bookings are a testament to that. I work from home as a full-time domestic abuse advisor, and take multiple breaks outside of the house regularly throughout the day. I would love to have a dog to accompany me on these walks! My weekends are mostly free but I am very active and like to spend them outside as much as possible, so any pet care at the weekend would involve lots of walks and playing, unless instructed otherwise. I am around most if not all holidays so please reach out if you need long term care also. In your home I am very respectful, clean and tidy and will follow any instructions as you have advised, for example not allowing pets upstairs or on furniture if this is the way you have trained them. Day-care I bring my own food and will leave your home as clean as I have found it. I request (if possible - but not a deal breaker) at least one meet up prior to accepting bookings to ensure we are all the right match for each other :)

About: We have looked after dogs when friends go on holiday we have had our own dogs over the years a red setter called Sammy and our grandson German Shepard called Riley We have done puppy walking for the blind and looked after her for a year before she was trained as a guide dog. We love all animals and spend time walking in the national trust parks and woodland areas also we love the beach and water I currently work part time in a village 2 miles from our home ,my husband is retired so at home all day so have loads of time to spend with your pets We have an enclosed garden laid in decking we have a field just up the road for dogs to play and we belong to the national trust which is really close to us they encourage pets and have lots of space to explore
About: We have looked after friends and family pets in the past. We live in enclosed bungalow with garden. No pets of our own since we lost our bernese 3 years ago. No children. Grandchildren visit occasionally. My wife is retired and I currently work 2 or 3 days a week. We do not have any of our own pets and grandchildren visit occasionally. We have a fenced garden. Kimber was amazing, she arranged for a meet and greet to see how well the dogs got on and whether my dog would suit the household etc. Atty had the best time with Kimber, so much so that she happily ran into the house the next day to greet her new friends! Kimber provides photo updates and a debrief of the day when I collect Atty. Shes easily contactable and I can tell she absolute adores having my dog there & makes her part of the family. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for decades now, particularly JRTs! We have two: Monty (5) and Meadow (4) who can be loud, but are super friendly and gentle. I work from home so long walks at some of Devon’s best spots daily! :) Our days start early with our first walk around 6 am! Our longest walk/trip usually takes place around midday (2 hours +). Our third and final walk is a shorter one in the evening around 7 pm. I work from home so spend a lot of time with our dogs every day! We live in a quiet dog friendly village with lots of different walks available in the area. We have a small garden which is fenced off and secure so our dogs always have the option to spend time outside when they want to. The house is very spacious and our pets as well as guests are allowed everywhere including on the sofa!

About: Martyn and I miss having dogs in our lives and their positive impact on our daily activities. Our own family dogs (now no longer with us) were companions on our many day trips and lengthy camper van holidays in the UK and abroad. We raised and trained them from puppies to their senior years, meeting their changing needs as the years rolled by. We both retired early and will be able to meet your pets needs in terms of activity and human companionship. Your dog will be walked twice a day, or as per your instructions and will have the run of our bungalow and fenced garden. We would expect to take your dog out on errands and day trips if that is what your dog would like and we live close to the beach and countryside for walks. Our home has no other pets or any children living with us Your dog will be part of our family during their stay with us. The bungalow is warm in the winter, with many shady spots in the summer, and the garden fence is high and secure. Your dog will have a permanent designated space for water, food and bed and will be fed on time, according to your instructions. We are very digitally competent and will send you regular photos and written messages. If we are caring for your dog in your home, we will be careful with security and will update you on how they are doing without you. In all cases, we will alert any dog owner to any welfare concerns. We prefer to walk dogs on leads until we are certain your dog has attached to us and will safely return and while we don’t want dogs on our furniture and beds, they get all the cuddles they need when we sit and play with them on the floor. We are happy to discuss any of your concerns.

I have been to see some kennels as I needed my lovely dogs to be looked after whilst on holiday and was shocked to see what they were like. I thought to myself why not look after dogs myself to help other dog lovers have a loving, friendly, cosy and warm place to stay for their dogs. About: Hi! We're Angie & Alex, full-time professional house and pet sitters and dog walker. We have both always loved animals and grown up looking after dogs and cats. I (Angie) grew up with dogs (a spaniel, a lab and a German Shepherd), whilst Alex grew up with cats. We now move around looking after different, wonderful dogs and cats, and their owners' homes while they're on extended trips (usually 2+ weeks). We give all animals the individual care and attention they need. So far this year we the pet sits have included: elderly dogs (including giving them medication), a couple of energetic, young golden retrievers, a wisler and dachshund duo, an adorable young Labrador, and a pack of dachshunds. We give all pets the individual care and attention they need, as they are all unique. Our favourite thing to do is getting outside with dogs, enjoying lots of walks in nature, and Angie also offers dog walking in the East Devon area. We both work remotely, so we are at home all during the work week. Angie works part-time and flexi hours, so she is available to meet longer walking needs, if required. When we're not working, we're dedicated to the pets, and make any social plans fit around the animals' needs. We only do house-sitting, staying at the owner's house, and usually for 2+ weeks at a time. We take great care to learn from you what your animal needs and work with those needs. It's important to us that dogs and cats feel safe and comfortable with us, and that they thrive in our care. We ensure their routines are not disrupted; such as taking them on as long or short walks as they need and at the times they're used to. We can also administer medication, and give them playtime and attention.
About: Ever since I was 5 years old, dogs were a part of my life. My first dog followed my mother and I back home from town centre where we've adopted her (a little black sausage). I also helped my dad with 2 of his German Shepherds. About: Love being around dogs, big or small! Have two dachshunds of my own and I love how all dogs have different characters! Playing with them and interacting I currently work 8-6. Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays off.. if during the week they would have to be ok with being left. I have experience looking after both small and large breeds. Having lived in South Africa, I am very comfortable around larger, more active dogs. I also recently welcomed a Cockerlier called Chloe into my family, so I am equally happy looking after smaller dogs. About: My two passions are art and dogs. I have 18+ years of experience looking after animals, having grown up with 2 westies ❤️ I previously worked at a busy doggy daycare in London for a few years, and now I own a dog care business with my husband in mid Devon. I have plenty of experience with dogs of different breeds and ages. I have my own rescue Lab cross and adore working with rescues. I run my own dog walking & care business full time with my husband who is a dog groomer. I usually offer half days or full days, but can be flexible. I have a van with secure crates for 4 dogs. I can provide safe pickup and drop off to and from your home. I have all of my own equipment. I can stay with the dog at their home or if they get along with my dog then they can board at my home. We have a secure garden and no children in the home.
About: I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats (big and small)! This involves grooming, giving meds to senior felines and canines and weaning puppies from 3 weeks of age! I am also capable of training basic tricks from scratch, especially to younger dogs :) I’ve worked in a Dog Groomers for a few years now which has made me extremely patient meaning I can cope well with all types of temperaments and learnt to respect the boundaries of animals. My friends and family have trusted me plenty of times to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight, as they know I’ll provide them with updates throughout! I’ve been bonding and caring for my rescue cat since I was 4 years old. She means everything to me and she’s still here 18 years later happy as Larry! Having this strong bond with her has gained me an understanding of how important a pet’s happiness is to their owner, so I’d love to be apart of that whilst you are away! I have a degree in Zoology, but I am currently working as a bunny keeper in birmingham! I normally work Monday-Fridays 9:30am-4:30pm with the occasional weekend day in lieu. Due to this, I am only able to provide evening and weekend services. I’m an active person so my walks can range from 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the breed and your preference, I’m also capable of walking multiple dogs at a time :) After each drop in, walk or house sit I will ensure your home is left tidy and your pet is left happy! If you need me to crate your pet at any time, just let me know! You will receive regular photo updates of your pets whilst you’re gone if this is of interest to you (I have interest in animal photography so it would be my pleasure!) :)

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!
About: I have had dogs all my life from small dogs to medium sized dogs I have fed them given them water bathed them and walked them and if your fur baby gets all dirty I would take them to the bathroom and give them a bath and give them a nice warm bath they would be really nice and clean and I have got a dog and had dogs all my life time when I was growing up so I love dogs I’m also a very happy person and I’m also a kind caring person that would be very happy to look after your fur baby’s I don’t work so I’m always around and available for your fur baby and I will always take good care of them like you do plus I will always be there for them and take good care of them I have had dog’s all my life We have a closed in garden so will keep your fur baby safe and sound when in the back garden and if needed have a crate for your fur baby to keep safe or needs a sleep we will all so give your fur baby a nice cuddle and plenty of walks.next to me or my wife on the sofa and they will get a lot of attention from me

About: I have lived with multiple dogs my whole life, and also compete in agility competitions. I currently have two collie x bitches, one is 12, the pup is 8 months old. Your dog(s) must be friendly with other dogs and cats. I will be home during the day when your doggie friend(s) are with us. I do a morning walk and evening walk, unless we are going on a day walk to the Moors or the beach when your doggie can come too! I am happy to have dogs for short or long stays, to suit you. Can do pick up, drop offs and airport runs. Free public car park in the village can assist with this. Secure garden and lots of local walks in woodland and near rivers. I work full-time but over three condensed days, which means I have plenty of time during the rest of the week to dedicate to dog walking, sitting, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I share my life with a rescue dog who is incredibly friendly and has never met another dog he didn’t like. We spend our days off exploring all kinds of places together—coastal paths, woodlands, beaches, as well as towns, villages, shops, and dog-friendly cafés. I work full-time over three condensed days, which means I have several days each week fully available for dog walking and sitting. My schedule is known up to 8 weeks in advance, so I can plan ahead and accommodate bookings where possible. On my days off, I usually start the day with a morning walk between 9–10am, lasting at least an hour. In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. In my home, dogs are welcome in all areas and can choose where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s on the sofa or in their own bed in the lounge. I have a fully secure, fenced garden with no external access, so they can safely enjoy time outside whenever needed. I don’t use crates, but I may be able to accommodate one for smaller dogs if that’s part of their usual routine. For overnight stays, dogs are welcome upstairs and can sleep on my bed or in the spare room—whatever helps them feel most settled and secure. Although my own dog is not food reactive, I always feed dogs separately to ensure they each eat their own meals safely and at their own pace. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I am very respectful of routines and house rules. I would need to bring my own friendly, well-socialised dog with me, and I’m happy to follow your preferences—whether that’s keeping dogs off furniture or maintaining specific routines.
“Nick was absolutely brilliant with Heidi, our German Shepherd, during her week-long stay. He clearly understood the breed and was patient, calm and really friendly with her. Heidi had only recently been spayed, so we needed someone who would be mindful and gentle with her, and Nick — along with his two lovely dogs — was exactly that. It did Heidi so much good to spend time around dogs who don’t share her anxiety, and she settled really well. Nick was a great communicator throughout, positive, reassuring, friendly and just a genuinely lovely person. Heidi thought he was brilliant, and it was fantastic for me knowing she was so well cared for. I would happily send her back tomorrow and will definitely use Nick for any future stays.”

About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. So my offer to you is that if you have a dog who is friendly, playful, and likes the company of other dogs, they will be very welcome here! I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. I have a fenced garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.
