Cherie went put of her way to make Mitsu comfortable in her house, sleeping in front of the fire, & when the bit of chicken I had left her in addition to her normal food, as she wasn't eating very well Cherie supplied her with some more. Above and beyond expectation. Thank you

This was the first time I had used Rover for my one year old (very small) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Ed and Jan were fantastic. They immediately gave me peace of mind and looked after Fudge really well - in fact, they spoilt her so I am sure she will be keen to go there again!! I would not hesitate in recommending Jan and Ed, and can't thank them enough for looking after Fudge so well.

My Olde english bulldog (ted) came to visit nick and his family. He had the best time playing with max (the family dog). Nick provided updates and sent us photos during his stay. Ted went out on new walks with nick and Max. Ted is super excited to come back next month. It's really nice to know our furbaby is left with such a lovely family and is really well looked after when we are away. Would HIGHLY recommend !!!

About: Hi, I'm a dedicated dog lover who works from home, which means your pet will enjoy plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I share my home with two friendly Labrador Retrievers who love making new canine friends, as well as a calm rescue cat who is used to living alongside dogs. I also have a responsible 17-year-old daughter who adores animals and helps create a warm, welcoming environment for every pet that stays with us. Because I work from home, I can maintain your dog's usual routine, provide regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of toilet breaks. I understand that every dog is unique, and I'm happy to accommodate individual needs, whether that's extra exercise, medication, or simply lots of affection and reassurance. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! **What to Expect During Your Dog's Stay** As I work from home, your dog will have company and supervision throughout most of the day. **Morning** * Morning toilet break and walk * Breakfast (following your dog's usual routine) * Playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention **Daytime** * Relaxing with me while I work from home * Regular garden breaks and opportunities to stretch their legs * Playtime with my two friendly Labradors if your dog enjoys canine company * Quiet rest periods for naps and relaxation **Afternoon & Evening** * Another walk tailored to your dog's age and energy levels * Dinner according to their normal schedule * Family time, cuddles, and settling down for the evening I aim to keep your dog's routine as close as possible to what they're used to at home. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can see how they're getting on and enjoy peace of mind while you're away. **Safety, Trust & Environment** Creating a safe, happy, and stress-free environment is at the heart of the care I provide. As I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My home is shared with two friendly Labradors and a rescue cat who are both accustomed to living alongside other animals. I take time to introduce pets carefully and ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure. There are quiet spaces available for dogs who prefer their own area to rest and relax. Before every stay, I like to learn about your pet's routine, personality, likes and dislikes, medical needs, and any behavioural quirks so I can provide care tailored to them. I follow owners' instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medication, and sleeping arrangements. For dogs staying in my home, they will enjoy regular walks, garden breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. As someone who works from home, I can maintain a consistent routine and provide frequent updates and photos for your peace of mind. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I treat both the pet and the property with the utmost respect. I aim to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you're away. My goal is always to provide a genuine home-from-home experience where pets feel loved, secure, and part of the family.

She sent lots of photos, so we could see what a great time Tilly was having with funny comments that made us laugh. Josey had 2 lovely boys who loved on Tilly so much it was perfect. Pretty sure if Tilly could pack her bag she would be going back ASAP. I cannot recommend Josey enough and we already have more breaks booked with her.

Jo and buddy were amazing from the first meeting I knew that my dog louie would be more than fine as they were so kind and welcoming. I did not have one worry leaving him with Jo, my only thought was that he would not want to come home after! Louie had the best holiday with Jo and buddy and I can't thank them enough. Would 100% recommend Jo to anyone as it was home from home for my dog Louie ( actually better than being at home I think!) Thanks again you really did put our minds at rest from the first meeting and kept us updated throughout his stay. Louie misses you both already:)

Meghan looked after our cat Masha, for a week while we were away, visiting twice a day to ensure he was fed, comfortable, safe, and well cared for. From the outset, Meghan was warm, caring, professional, and reliable. She spent quality time with Masha during every visit, giving him plenty of attention, affection, and playtime, which was evident from the many photos and updates she sent us throughout the week. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his wellbeing and happiness, not just his basic needs. Communication was excellent throughout. Meghan kept us regularly updated, providing great reassurance and peace of mind while we were away. Knowing that he was being so well looked after meant we could fully enjoy our holiday without worrying about him. I would wholeheartedly recommend Meghan’s cat-sitting services to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, personable, and friendly cat sitter. She treats your pets as if they were her own and provides an exceptional level of care for your special family members. Thank you, Meghan, for taking such wonderful care of Masha!

About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar - both previously from unkind homes but now thriving, and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa who was also previously mistreated. Rosa is dog mad any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her and is very happy straight away. The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. I think Ruby occasionally thinks she is a dog and will sometimes try to play with them whereas Oscar is a little more skittish. We live around lots of cats so they’re not bothered by them! We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions!

About: I’ve always been a massive dog lover and have always taken care of any dogs that I was given the chance to. My family and family friends have trusted me to walk and feed their lovely pets, aging from puppies to 13 year old doggies. I also am willing to enforce good lead and walking manner in order to keep up your pup’s training. I am unemployed at this point in time. I am pretty much free the majority of the week. I will be working by a first come, first served basis. I have a spacious fenced garden. For walks, I would ask beforehand about your pups temperament(s) so that I will be prepared if need be. I am happy to walk reactive dogs, as long as a muzzle is provided (for precautions). I would not let your pup off their lead, unless I personally can trust them with their recall. I’d let your fur baby explore some new spots, meet some new friends, and let all their energy out. If you have any queries, please contact me for any more details!

About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar- both adopted from unkind homes (Oscar was terrified to begin with and would pee everywhere for months and Ruby was hissing constantly & very scared. Now Oscar’s toileting troubles are under control and he’s growing in confidence day by day and Ruby is the most outgoing friendly cat I’ve ever met introduces herself to all!), and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa. Rosa is dog mad gets so happy any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her (she was previously used for breeding in Bulgaria kept on a chain and then dumped on a rubbish pile once they found out she had a mammary tumour poor thing). The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs (I’ve had up to 30 in total but don’t anymore, used to rescue them) , rats (have only had female rats personally), hamsters (Syrians and Russian dwarfs) and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions! I’m capable of bathing any pet that requires it, I can also carry out nail trims for guinea pigs as this is something I had to do a lot when I was rescuing them. I usually work in an early years setting with young children but during the holidays off all I’m doing is planning for my wedding (exciting I know!!) so have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it! I’m happy to take on multiple and can come to your home if needed but due to my own pets I’d rather it be my own home however this is something I’m more than happy to discuss! I love walking and playing with dogs and cats too! Big or small doesn’t bother me! I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden to keep your pet safe. I have a two calm yet playful dogs and two cats to keep your pet company. I’m happy to adapt to your pet whatever their needs are. I live near the honiton bottom estuary so they’re are plenty of nice walks and am familiar with many areas in Devon and Cornwall! I’m pretty flexible at the moment but rest assured whatever is decided all I want just like you is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable and you feel at ease about it. More than happy to arrange meet and greets to get to know each other or go on dog walks together previously.

Caspar came home to us his usual happy self after his first day care with Sarah. He was evidently loved and appreciated whilst away from us and all instructions were followed. We shall be happy to ask Sarah to look after him another time.

About: Hi, my name is Vic and I live with my partner and our two children. First things first, we just LOVE dogs 😍 all shapes and sizes and so does our little girl! I'm a midwifery lecturer, my partner is a tennis coach. I work from home a lot and and we are often home/around on the weekends. We live in our own home and have a lovely secure/fairly large garden for your pooch to sniff around in. Both myself and my partner have always had dogs in our families and are experienced in caring for various breeds. I have over 10 years experience in dog sitting for family and friends. My partners family are a farming family and have always had larger dogs, mainly border collies, and more recently a re-homed Saluki crossbreed from Dubai. I've grown up with various smaller cross breed dogs. We live within a short walking distance from a secure dog walking park for walks too. We recently said goodbye to our beloved 12 year old pug, he had numerous health problems so I am also experienced in looking after dogs who have poor health. I used a dog sitter for him when he was in his younger years and loved knowing he had a home from home, with his bed in front of the log burner 🥰 (which we also have!) I have wanted to offer our services as pet sitters for a number of years, however it didn't feel fair on our dog. He's left a dog shaped hole in our lives and our hearts and whilst we aren’t ready to have another dog just yet, we have so much doggy love to give ♥️. I would love to be able to offer a home from home to your beloved furry friend whilst you have a break or go away on your holidays. I am happy to look after any friendly pooches, as long as they're ok around baby’s (1 year old). Have a look through my pics and you'll see all the dogs I’ve have had the pleasure of looking after across the years and also our garden and lounge. I am happy to have a couple of dogs from the same home at a time. Please feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions, I understand that trusting someone to look after your dog is a nerve wracking. Because we have 2 children we always do a meet and greet prior to accepting a booking, therefore I can’t accept last minute/same day bookings. I'm a midwifery lecturer so when I’m not teaching face to face I mainly work from home and I don’t work weekends. I have time in my working day and at weekends to do lots of walks however long or short your dog needs. We have a log burner in our lounge so your pooch can laze in front of the fire on cold days. We have a secure garden with plenty of space for toilet breaks. We are happy for dogs on the sofa on a blanket so rest assured they’ll get lots of cuddles with us. I can tailor the stay to your dogs needs, I will try my best to create a home from home for your fur baby and rest assured they’ll be in-undated with love and TLC. I’ve included a couple of pictures to show my lounge and garden so you can see the environment they’ll stay in ☺️

About: Martyn and I miss having dogs in our lives and their positive impact on our daily activities. Our own family dogs (now no longer with us) were companions on our many day trips and lengthy camper van holidays in the UK and abroad. We raised and trained them from puppies to their senior years, meeting their changing needs as the years rolled by. We both retired early and will be able to meet your pets needs in terms of activity and human companionship. Your dog will be walked twice a day, or as per your instructions and will have the run of our bungalow and fenced garden. We would expect to take your dog out on errands and day trips if that is what your dog would like and we live close to the beach and countryside for walks. Our home has no other pets or any children living with us Your dog will be part of our family during their stay with us. The bungalow is warm in the winter, with many shady spots in the summer, and the garden fence is high and secure. Your dog will have a permanent designated space for water, food and bed and will be fed on time, according to your instructions. We are very digitally competent and will send you regular photos and written messages. If we are caring for your dog in your home, we will be careful with security and will update you on how they are doing without you. In all cases, we will alert any dog owner to any welfare concerns. We prefer to walk dogs on leads until we are certain your dog has attached to us and will safely return and while we don’t want dogs on our furniture and beds, they get all the cuddles they need when we sit and play with them on the floor. We are happy to discuss any of your concerns.

From a young age, I grew up around cats, dogs, rabbits, and hamsters, developing a deep connection and understanding of their needs and behaviors. For 15 years, I owned and cared for my Bearded Collie, Harry, from puppyhood until she sadly passed. At two years old, Harry was diagnosed with Addison’s disease, and I gained valuable experience administering daily medications and managing her condition. Due to her hypersensitivity to noise, I also took her through special training to ensure she was calm during walks, particularly since we lived near an airport. This experience helped me develop strong skills in managing dogs with specific behavioral and medical needs. In addition to my own dog, I frequently care for Spencer, my daughter’s Springer Spaniel, and regularly dog sit for Billy, my ex-neighbor’s mixed breed, and my befriendees dogs Lily and Bella. I also take care of friends' and family members’ cats when they are away. This varied experience has given me a practical understanding of different pet temperaments, routines, and care requirements. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for decades now, particularly JRTs! We have two: Monty (5) and Meadow (4) who can be loud, but are super friendly and gentle. I work from home so long walks at some of Devon’s best spots daily! :) Our days start early with our first walk around 6 am! Our longest walk/trip usually takes place around midday (2 hours +). Our third and final walk is a shorter one in the evening around 7 pm. I work from home so spend a lot of time with our dogs every day! We live in a quiet dog friendly village with lots of different walks available in the area. We have a small garden which is fenced off and secure so our dogs always have the option to spend time outside when they want to. The house is very spacious and our pets as well as guests are allowed everywhere including on the sofa!

I've never left my dog with anyone other than people we know well, but due to unavoidable circumstances I had to find someone to care for her. Kimber was amazing, she arranged for a meet and greet to see how well the dogs got on and whether my dog would suit the household etc. Atty had the best time with Kimber, so much so that she happily ran into the house the next day to greet her new friends! Kimber provides photo updates and a debrief of the day when I collect Atty. Shes easily contactable and I can tell she absolute adores having my dog there & makes her part of the family. My dog leaves very sleepy from all the walks, play and attention! I feel so lucky that I messaged Kimber & if I need dog care again will 100% be reaching out to her first!

About: I have grown up in a household with both cats and dogs, so I am very comfortable caring for pets with a range of personalities and needs. I have also provided dog-sitting and cat-sitting for friends and family on many occasions. I am an active person who enjoys walking and regularly goes hiking on Dartmoor and in the Blackdown Hills. I would therefore be very happy to care for dogs that need longer walks, plenty of exercise, or a more energetic routine. I am currently a university student and will be available throughout the summer after finishing my studies at the beginning of June. When I return to university in October, I will receive my timetable in advance, allowing me to plan pet-sitting bookings around my schedule and provide plenty of notice regarding my availability. I have access to a 4x4 vehicle and can safely transport dogs using a crate where required. As a student paramedic with previous experience in the ambulance service, I have completed advanced driving training and understand the importance of safety, responsibility, and reliability. I will always treat your pets with the same level of care and attention that I would expect for my own.

About: As well as being very actively involved in the care of my families dogs ever since I was very young, I have looked after plenty of friends dogs too. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments in both cities and the countryside. I prioritise being extra safe and present when I'm caring for an animal which ensures any dog in my care is relaxed and happy. Ultimately I'm completely dog obsessed and take the responsibility of looking after any dog, be it my own or someone else's, very seriously (but not seriously enough that we don't also have loads of fun!!) I am currently a freelance graphic designer working from home meaning I have a VERY flexible schedule and really the perfect set up for taking care of dogs. As of right now I am available all week with no real time constraints. Note- from 29/04 - 20/05 and 03/06-24/06 I will be unavailable on Wednesday until 2pm. I have a lovely fenced medium-large garden with lots of plants, trees and interesting bits for dogs to explore (aka not a rectangle of flat grass!). My dogs spend lots of time outside sunbathing and playing. I have two beddlington-whippet girls at home, one is 5 the other is 10. The older isn't particularly interested in other dogs at all, happy to keep to herself. The other LOVES other dogs, she's a fantastic play mate.

About: Ever since I was 5 years old, dogs were a part of my life. My first dog followed my mother and I back home from town centre where we've adopted her (a little black sausage). I also helped my dad with 2 of his German Shepherds. At the age of 9 I started "working" and helping a privately owned animal rescue where I would care for the kennels, take dogs on walks and help in rehoming them. One day we've rescued 6 puppies and their mother from a man who tried to drown and stab them, that's how I met Axel - my beautiful Lab cross Spaniel who lived to be 13 years old and full of life and experiences. I promise you to take the best care of your pup and maybe even teach them a few tricks. Hire me now. I currently work full-time but looking to pursue something that aligns with my values and passions. Current availability are Mondays and Sundays with evenings during the week. I take small steps at first to ease the dog into any new environment. First walks will always be on a leash but with plenty of freedom and exercise. I will always match your dog's energy so you can rest assured that he/she is well looked after.

Despite getting Obi in my early teens, i’ve always been surrounded by animals. I’ve always had an adoration for dogs and have always craved seeing relatives dogs to play with and walk. Even though i do work part time, both jobs are very nearby and other family members are likely to be home if i’m not around, again though this can be discussed further and organised acquiring to specific days for care. Obi is a very well behaved dog but our garden is suitable to ensure dog is contained in safe environment. Also in terms of the house, safety for Obi is a priority!

About: I’ve taken care of many family dogs since I was 8. Also own and have experience with cats . I’ve worked in stables with a variety of animals. Also studied animal care at Bridgwater college. Despite working full-time, I prioritise pet care by building it into my daily routine. I’m highly organized and ensure pets receive the attention they need, whether it’s scheduling walks or feedings before and after work or dedicating quality time on my days off. I find caring for animals to be a fulfilling part of my life, and I’m committed to maintaining their routines, ensuring they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for no matter how busy my schedule gets. In the Pet Owner’s Home When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines to minimize disruption. I provide companionship, ensure feeding schedules are followed, and keep their living areas tidy. Whether it’s freshening up litter trays, walking dogs, or simply providing cuddles, I focus on making the pets feel safe and cared for in their familiar environment.

Rhianon has been dog sitting at our house for nearly two years. She is amazing! Teddy adores her and I’m sure he is sad when we come home. He gets the best walks and exercise. She also looks after our indoor rabbit. We always get pics of Teddy while we are away and nothing is ever to much trouble if Rhianon has been there while we have had workmen in or parcels delivered. The house is always immaculate when we come home. HIGHLY recommend!

Hannah was excellent. We booked her for the second time and everything was again perfect. She gave a walk to Frey (our Siberian Husky). Frey was very happy to see her. She arrived on time and managed to walk our little Husky puppy in some areas where he never went which is not an easy task. We recommend Hannah and we will definitely book her in the future.

About: Always had dogs in our family, moved out 10 years ago and had my own dog, but after relationship breakdown I no longer have the dog and miss the companionship and caring for a dog, but can’t have my own again at the moment. I only work 3 days a week in the weekend, so have plenty of time for cuddles, walks and play time. Have plenty of green space and fields within a 5 minute walk too I have a metal fenced garden, plenty of indoor space too and dog friendly fields within a 5 minute walk.

Josie is absolutely fabulous. If you want your dog to have a wonderful holiday as well, this is your lady.

Daisy had a weekend stay with Yves and her partner nick and she had the best time. She is always well looked after, spoilt and is the most happiest of dogs having visited with them. She has always been a bit nervous around other people that aren’t her family but she loves yves and nick so much and literally is so excited to see them every time she sees them. They will send numerous videos and photos of her time with them and provide lots of updates and always puts me at ease knowing she is with such loving and caring people. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to look after their dogs.

About: I’ve given dogs a happy place to be while their families are busy for years now, looking after family and friends dogs during the week. As I work from home i’m able to provide regular breaks and walks but also find lots of time to play or cuddle! My friends rely on me to keep their dogs fed, safe and happy and i’m always their first choice of day care now! My partner Steve works from home part of the week so is also around for looking after and entertaining your dogs during the days. I’ve got experience with nervous, needy dogs to very chilled relaxed dogs (and everything in between)! Weekdays my boyfriend and I work from home, so my day looks like a morning walk, then flexible during the day to do what the dog needs, and free in the evenings if longer care is needed. We’re available for boarding weekdays and some weekends but notice is needed! We have a completely secure, fenced garden in a quiet safe neighbourhood. Dogs are allowed in any room in the house but will follow your guidance too on their rules. They’ll be allowed upstairs and on furniture, and will be given our full attention all day/evening!

What could be better than leaving your dog with a vet? Leaving your dog with two vets. Lovely, friendly, hospitable couple, both qualified vets. They looked after my large, energetic lurcher with great care and affection. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
