About: I’ve always been a massive dog lover and have always taken care of any dogs that I was given the chance to. My family and family friends have trusted me to walk and feed their lovely pets, aging from puppies to 13 year old doggies. I also am willing to enforce good lead and walking manner in order to keep up your pup’s training. I am unemployed at this point in time. I am pretty much free the majority of the week. I will be working by a first come, first served basis. I have a spacious fenced garden. For walks, I would ask beforehand about your pups temperament(s) so that I will be prepared if need be. I am happy to walk reactive dogs, as long as a muzzle is provided (for precautions). I would not let your pup off their lead, unless I personally can trust them with their recall. About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I'm at my happiest when I'm around dogs and animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I own my own home so I'm therefore very responsible and respectful of whoever's home I'm staying in. I will be sure to follow your instructions regarding pet care and certain things around the house. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I would be available to look after your pup(s) from late afternoon on Friday until Sunday evening (or early Monday morning). On some occasions if need be, it may be possible for me to work remotely from your home (if WiFi permits and dependant on your facilities but I would need plenty of notice for this). Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: Hi, my name is Vic and I live with my partner and our two children. First things first, we just LOVE dogs 😍 all shapes and sizes and so does our little girl! I'm a midwifery lecturer, my partner is a tennis coach. I work from home a lot and and we are often home/around on the weekends. We live in our own home and have a lovely secure/fairly large garden for your pooch to sniff around in. Both myself and my partner have always had dogs in our families and are experienced in caring for various breeds. I have over 10 years experience in dog sitting for family and friends. My partners family are a farming family and have always had larger dogs, mainly border collies, and more recently a re-homed Saluki crossbreed from Dubai. We recently said goodbye to our beloved 12 year old pug, he had numerous health problems so I am also experienced in looking after dogs who have poor health. I used a dog sitter for him when he was in his younger years and loved knowing he had a home from home, with his bed in front of the log burner 🥰 (which we also have!) I have wanted to offer our services as pet sitters for a number of years, however it didn't feel fair on our dog. He's left a dog shaped hole in our lives and our hearts and whilst we aren’t ready to have another dog just yet, we have so much doggy love to give ♥️. We have a secure garden with plenty of space for toilet breaks. We are happy for dogs on the sofa on a blanket so rest assured they’ll get lots of cuddles with us. I can tailor the stay to your dogs needs, I will try my best to create a home from home for your fur baby and rest assured they’ll be in-undated with love and TLC. About: Martyn and I miss having dogs in our lives and their positive impact on our daily activities. Our own family dogs (now no longer with us) were companions on our many day trips and lengthy camper van holidays in the UK and abroad. We raised and trained them from puppies to their senior years, meeting their changing needs as the years rolled by. We both retired early and will be able to meet your pets needs in terms of activity and human companionship. Your dog will be walked twice a day, or as per your instructions and will have the run of our bungalow and fenced garden. We would expect to take your dog out on errands and day trips if that is what your dog would like and we live close to the beach and countryside for walks. Our home has no other pets or any children living with us Your dog will be part of our family during their stay with us. The bungalow is warm in the winter, with many shady spots in the summer, and the garden fence is high and secure. Your dog will have a permanent designated space for water, food and bed and will be fed on time, according to your instructions. We are very digitally competent and will send you regular photos and written messages. If we are caring for your dog in your home, we will be careful with security and will update you on how they are doing without you. In all cases, we will alert any dog owner to any welfare concerns. We prefer to walk dogs on leads until we are certain your dog has attached to us and will safely return and while we don’t want dogs on our furniture and beds, they get all the cuddles they need when we sit and play with them on the floor. We are happy to discuss any of your concerns.

“I've never left my dog with anyone other than people we know well, but due to unavoidable circumstances I had to find someone to care for her. Kimber was amazing, she arranged for a meet and greet to see how well the dogs got on and whether my dog would suit the household etc. Atty had the best time with Kimber, so much so that she happily ran into the house the next day to greet her new friends! Kimber provides photo updates and a debrief of the day when I collect Atty. Shes easily contactable and I can tell she absolute adores having my dog there & makes her part of the family. My dog leaves very sleepy from all the walks, play and attention! I feel so lucky that I messaged Kimber & if I need dog care again will 100% be reaching out to her first!”
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for decades now, particularly JRTs! We have two: Monty (5) and Meadow (4) who can be loud, but are super friendly and gentle. I work from home so long walks at some of Devon’s best spots daily! :) Our days start early with our first walk around 6 am! Our longest walk/trip usually takes place around midday (2 hours +). Our third and final walk is a shorter one in the evening around 7 pm. I work from home so spend a lot of time with our dogs every day! We live in a quiet dog friendly village with lots of different walks available in the area. We have a small garden which is fenced off and secure so our dogs always have the option to spend time outside when they want to. The house is very spacious and our pets as well as guests are allowed everywhere including on the sofa!

About: Hello dog lovers! I am a massive dog lover they are like children to me, I have 2 jacks and have had animals all my life. I have been to see some kennels as I needed my lovely dogs to be looked after whilst on holiday and was shocked to see what they were like. I thought to myself why not look after dogs myself to help other dog lovers have a loving, friendly, cosy and warm place to stay for their dogs. They would be able to have a lounge with sofa and TV to watch also a big garden to play in. I have 3 children and a husband who also has grown up with dogs. I have lived in Honiton all my life.
About: I have grown up in a household with both cats and dogs, so I am very comfortable caring for pets with a range of personalities and needs. I have also provided dog-sitting and cat-sitting for friends and family on many occasions. I am an active person who enjoys walking and regularly goes hiking on Dartmoor and in the Blackdown Hills. I would therefore be very happy to care for dogs that need longer walks, plenty of exercise, or a more energetic routine. I am currently a university student and will be available throughout the summer after finishing my studies at the beginning of June. About: I own a gorgeous mixed dog breed so have direct experience as well as my childhood home hosting various cats and dogs. I have dealt with heartbreak and pure pleasure. About: Ever since I was 5 years old, dogs were a part of my life. My first dog followed my mother and I back home from town centre where we've adopted her (a little black sausage). I also helped my dad with 2 of his German Shepherds. About: As well as being very actively involved in the care of my families dogs ever since I was very young, I have looked after plenty of friends dogs too. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments in both cities and the countryside. I prioritise being extra safe and present when I'm caring for an animal which ensures any dog in my care is relaxed and happy. Ultimately I'm completely dog obsessed and take the responsibility of looking after any dog, be it my own or someone else's, very seriously (but not seriously enough that we don't also have loads of fun!!) My dogs spend lots of time outside sunbathing and playing. I have two beddlington-whippet girls at home, one is 5 the other is 10. About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)

Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays off.. if during the week they would have to be ok with being left. About: My family got our first dog at aged 10, and our second when I was 17. I have cared for them both since they were puppies- teaching them to wait for food, fetch, lie down and even high five! As my first dog got older, I learnt how to be respectful of him as he didn't want to be played with all the time and was slightly more temperamental. This taught me to be patient and how to be around older dogs. Our second dog is a playful cocker spaniel with bundles of energy, always wanting to go on walks, which I am of course happy to do! I can therefore care for dogs of all ages and of many different natures as each one is unique and special in their own way. I am available anytime between 22nd July and 1st September. If I am unavailable, my sister can usually cover bookings- she is a Uni student studying animal science and bioveterinary course so has lots of experience with animals! I am able to do house visits and am happy to feed, play with or even just sit with the dog to keep them company! I can have pets in my home, but only if they get on with other dogs and small animals. I can do a whole day visit, a quick stop in, or I can take them on walks. I will send pupdates throughout the day of your fur babies so you don't have to stress while you're away from home!

She is crate trained and is very friendly towards all animals and people. She can however be separated from animals I pet sit depending on the owner’s preferences.

On my days off, I usually start the day with a morning walk between 9–10am, lasting at least an hour. In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. In my home, dogs are welcome in all areas and can choose where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s on the sofa or in their own bed in the lounge. I have a fully secure, fenced garden with no external access, so they can safely enjoy time outside whenever needed. I don’t use crates, but I may be able to accommodate one for smaller dogs if that’s part of their usual routine. For overnight stays, dogs are welcome upstairs and can sleep on my bed or in the spare room—whatever helps them feel most settled and secure.
