About: I'm in my forties and I've taken care of many pets throughout my entire life ranging from cats, dogs, ferrets, rats and more. I walk dogs for friends and neighbors regularly and love them like my own. As I'm not working at the moment I'm able to take and walk pets all week, even in the late evenings. About: I have successfully looked after many dogs for many years, and love their company. I did have a wonderful dog of my own who was a rescue dog and became incredible company. I have over 30 years experience with looking after dogs and cats. I enjoy looking after other peoples' beloveds while they go on holiday, or when they have work commitments. I have also had many cats of my own and loved them all. I live close to parks and other great walks for dogs. I am a writer and professional artist working from home. Plenty of time for walks, company and play. I have a fenced garden and live on a quiet road. I will always follow your dog's routine, as arranged with yourself, to help make them feel at home. For example, meal times, any special diets, or requirements. It’s always helpful to know your dog’s temperament with other dogs, how they are on/off lead. They will be well cared for. About: After leaving the nursing profession 10 years I set up my own dog walking and boarding business in London and had many regular clients for 8 years. Eventfully I moved up to Northumberland where there was little need for dog day care.... In 2021 I then moved to Somerset and once again have the time to dedicate my time caring for dogs. About: I’ve taken care of two crazy black Labradors since I was 13 years old. I had so much fun teaching them tricks and taking them for swims in the sea. Now I’m at university I miss being around and caring for pets so much and the thing I looked forwards to most about going home is seeing them. I’m currently at Exeter University studying Medicine. About: My wife and I have always had pets and have been around animals since a very young age. Together we have had a Dalmatian who lived an amazing 14.5 years, meaning we have experience in tending to senior dogs. We now have an energetic Fox Red Labrador and 2 affectionate cats. We absolutely love animals and will always go out of our way to make sure that they are happy, loved, safe, and well-fed. We're very patient and gentle and understand that every pet is different. My wife and I work from home fulltime so will always be around to spend time with your pet(s). We tend to walk our dog Nancy early in the morning during the week, either through the fields or at the beach. At the weekend we often try to find new places to explore, making sure to avoid the hottest parts of the day. We have a fenced back garden and live in a nice quiet area on the outskirts of Williton, facing fields with horses and passing steam trains in the distance. We have a very friendly dog who loves the company of other dogs and is great at sharing her treats and toys. We have a hose and paddling pool in the garden to help them keep cool in the hotter weather. We also have 2 very easy going cats who come and go as they please. We can have safety gates in place if required, but we would ask that you only book with us if your dog is happy to be around cats. We want your pet to be as happy and comfortable as possible during their stay with us, so please let us know if they have any particular requirements.

Paddy can get overexcited on meeting new people and had not boarded away from home or stayed with another dog before so we were uncertain how he would react. We needn’t have worried. Shelagh and Pete are very animal aware and felt he’d settle into his new routine. He had an initial two day visit, spent a lovely time running free in the enclosed field, and we returned to collect him finding the two dogs perfectly happy wandering around together. A real success - we instantly booked Paddy for a week’s stay so we could go away on holiday on our own. Very pleased and grateful for Shelagh & Pete’s care.”
About: Apart from being a professional piano teacher and musician my world is about animal care . I share my home with 3 dogs , 4 cats , 6 horses and 6 sheep , and 1 hamster most being rescued at some. point ! The dogs ages range from 1.5 yrs to 14 so they adapt well to other dogs . I have a secure garden and lots of space in the house and your dog can have total freedom in the home environment . Walks are taken away from the road and dogs kept on a long lead if preferred . I work from home part time apart from one day away per week and so can devote myself completely to your dogs and my dogs needs . Animals tend to rule the roost here ! I have a secure house and a fenced garden with lots of space and a separate fenced patio, and so a very secure environment .

About: I own a gorgeous mixed dog breed so have direct experience as well as my childhood home hosting various cats and dogs. I have dealt with heartbreak and pure pleasure. Currently in between jobs so could do with some extra money. Each week I can be flexible. Evenings are also a possibility as well as weekends. I have a modest sized house with sufficient fencing. About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)
About: I have had dogs all my life from small dogs to medium sized dogs I have fed them given them water bathed them and walked them and if your fur baby gets all dirty I would take them to the bathroom and give them a bath and give them a nice warm bath they would be really nice and clean and I have got a dog and had dogs all my life time when I was growing up so I love dogs I’m also a very happy person and I’m also a kind caring person that would be very happy to look after your fur baby’s I don’t work so I’m always around and available for your fur baby and I will always take good care of them like you do plus I will always be there for them and take good care of them I have had dog’s all my life We have a closed in garden so will keep your fur baby safe and sound when in the back garden and if needed have a crate for your fur baby to keep safe or needs a sleep we will all so give your fur baby a nice cuddle and plenty of walks.next to me or my wife on the sofa and they will get a lot of attention from me

About: I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats (big and small)! This involves grooming, giving meds to senior felines and canines and weaning puppies from 3 weeks of age! I am also capable of training basic tricks from scratch, especially to younger dogs :) I’ve worked in a Dog Groomers for a few years now which has made me extremely patient meaning I can cope well with all types of temperaments and learnt to respect the boundaries of animals. My friends and family have trusted me plenty of times to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight, as they know I’ll provide them with updates throughout! I’ve been bonding and caring for my rescue cat since I was 4 years old. She means everything to me and she’s still here 18 years later happy as Larry! Having this strong bond with her has gained me an understanding of how important a pet’s happiness is to their owner, so I’d love to be apart of that whilst you are away! I have just graduated from University with a degree in Zoology, but I am now based in Minehead for work, however the rota changes each week. Due to this, I would have to play it by ear on availability but will try my best to work around the hours I do with you! I’m an active person so my walks can range from 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the breed and your preference, I’m also capable of walking multiple dogs at a time :) After each drop in, walk or house sit I will ensure your home is left tidy and your pet is left happy! If you need me to crate your pet at any time, just let me know! You will receive regular photo updates of your pets whilst you’re gone if this is of interest to you (I have interest in animal photography so it would be my pleasure!) :)
About: I’ve house sat since I was 18 years old, from sheep to chickens, dogs, cats and horses; I’m very used to caring for all animals and their individual needs. About: I’ve taken care of two crazy black Labradors since I was 13 years old. I had so much fun teaching them tricks and taking them for swims in the sea. Now I’m at university I miss being around and caring for pets so much and the thing I looked forwards to most about going home is seeing them. I’m currently at Exeter University studying Medicine. Whilst the course is intense I don’t have many in person contact sessions or lectures and so I am able to schedule my studies so that I’ll have lots of free time to dog sitting /walking . In a pet owners home I will make sure I listen and follow any instructions that are given to me by the owner to ensure the safety of the pet.
About: Always had dogs in our family, moved out 10 years ago and had my own dog, but after relationship breakdown I no longer have the dog and miss the companionship and caring for a dog, but can’t have my own again at the moment. I only work 3 days a week in the weekend, so have plenty of time for cuddles, walks and play time. About: I'm in my forties and I've taken care of many pets throughout my entire life ranging from cats, dogs, ferrets, rats and more. I walk dogs for friends and neighbors regularly and love them like my own. As I'm not working at the moment I'm able to take and walk pets all week, even in the late evenings. I'd be available from around 8-9am to 11pm. I'm capable to take care of medicated pets by giving medication or even providing first aid. I have experience in grooming and bathing dogs. Energetic and high maintenance dogs are also welcome as I have experience and am happy to walk far and spend hours with them at the park. I prefer to keep dogs on leash when walking them to avoid any risks.

About: I have successfully looked after many dogs for many years, and love their company. I did have a wonderful dog of my own who was a rescue dog and became incredible company. I have over 30 years experience with looking after dogs and cats. I enjoy looking after other peoples' beloveds while they go on holiday, or when they have work commitments. I have also had many cats of my own and loved them all. I live close to parks and other great walks for dogs. I am a writer and professional artist working from home. Plenty of time for walks, company and play. I have a fenced garden and live on a quiet road. I will always follow your dog's routine, as arranged with yourself, to help make them feel at home. For example, meal times, any special diets, or requirements. It’s always helpful to know your dog’s temperament with other dogs, how they are on/off lead. They will be well cared for. My name is Rachel, I’m a 29 year old working professional based in Taunton and I live with my partner in a fully detached house with a large secure enclosed garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs all my life, and featured in my photo is our family dog Coco, a mini Pomeranian who I absolutely adore. I regularly dog sit for friends over weekends and love taking their dogs out for walks and adventures in the countryside. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering new walking spots, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and companionship.
