Josh and Julie are wonderful, our boy Fritz had a lovely time and was obviously spoilt rotten with cuddles, play time and walks. Thank you both, we had a wonderful night out not worrying about Fritzy! Will definitely book again! :)

This was our first time leaving Lucca with dog sitters. Being a rescue dog and having had a difficult start to life, we wanted to be sure that we were leaving him with the right people and in the right environment. 4 years it took us to find Talita, Neil and their dog Mala. It was well worth the wait. Lucca and Mala appeared to have a great time together and most importantly plenty of exercise and then time to relax and chill out. The most reassuring thing about this two night stay was the regular photos, videos and updates that were provided over the 3 days. It helped us relax in the knowledge that Lucca was having a fun time and being very well card for. Thank you so much to Talita, Neil and Mala for welcoming Lucca into your home and taking such great care of him.

Review Victoria and her lovely family are very kind and caring people with an obvious love and passion for all dogs. My dog Harry suffers from anxiety and was dealt with compassion whilst suffering an episode. I would highly recommend Victoria with the knowledge that she is so good at what she does and your dog would be 100% safe in her hands.

Paddy had the most wonderful time. Shelagh and Pete gave him the best holiday - lots of cuddles and plenty of fun running in their field with their dog Spike. We couldn’t have asked for more. When we picked him up he seemed completely at home so we wouldn’t hesitate to book him in for another stay. Very grateful for all of Shelagh’s care and attention.

Macy was absolutely fantastic with our french bulldog, Bella, while we were away on holiday for six nights. From the moment Bella stayed with her, it was clear how much love, care and attention Macy puts into looking after dogs, and we were so grateful for how warmly she welcomed Bella into her day-to-day family life rather than just “watching” her. She spent time playing with Bella, made sure she felt included and comfortable, and it was obvious that Bella was being treated like one of the family. We also really appreciated the daily updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away and showed just how happy and settled Bella was. Macy is kind, caring, thoughtful and clearly loves dogs, and we would not hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for a genuinely wonderful dog sitter. Thank you Macy for doing such a good job x

About: I'm in my forties and I've taken care of many pets throughout my entire life ranging from cats, dogs, ferrets, rats and more. I walk dogs for friends and neighbors regularly and love them like my own. As I'm not working at the moment I'm able to take and walk pets all week, even in the late evenings. I'd be available from around 8-9am to 11pm. I'm capable to take care of medicated pets by giving medication or even providing first aid. I have experience in grooming and bathing dogs. Energetic and high maintenance dogs are also welcome as I have experience and am happy to walk far and spend hours with them at the park. I prefer to keep dogs on leash when walking them to avoid any risks.

Jo and buddy were amazing from the first meeting I knew that my dog louie would be more than fine as they were so kind and welcoming. I did not have one worry leaving him with Jo, my only thought was that he would not want to come home after! Louie had the best holiday with Jo and buddy and I can't thank them enough. Would 100% recommend Jo to anyone as it was home from home for my dog Louie ( actually better than being at home I think!) Thanks again you really did put our minds at rest from the first meeting and kept us updated throughout his stay. Louie misses you both already:)

About: I've worked with dogs for many years, I am a qualified dog groomer and am qualified in canine first aid, so rest assured I have you covered. I have 2 dogs of my own a chonzer and a saluki cross, both well mannered. I have a 1.5 year old son and a partner who works full time, there is plenty of love in this household. We have a house with a back garden, so dogs are allowed to roam, water is always available and so is food unless otherwise stated. Walks will be given once every evening. I'm a mum of a child who's nearly 2, other than cleaning my own house i dont have a lot going on, it would be nice to be able to take care of pets and have a small income. Pets will always have access to water and food unless otherwise stated by the owner. They will be walked for 30min - 1 hour every evening spent with me, our garden contains high fences which are 6ft tall meaning the safety of your pet escaping is at a minimum. I am a dog groomer but that will not effect the time spent with your pet because I wont book grooms if your pet is booked inn with me

About: Hi there! My name is Rachel, I’m a 29 year old working professional based in Taunton and I live with my partner in a fully detached house with a large secure enclosed garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs all my life, and featured in my photo is our family dog Coco, a mini Pomeranian who I absolutely adore. I regularly dog sit for friends over weekends and love taking their dogs out for walks and adventures in the countryside. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering new walking spots, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and companionship. I work from home on Mondays, meaning I’m around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, feeding and company. Although we don’t currently have pets living with us, our home is very pet friendly and calm, making it a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m available on weekends and love spending time outdoors on long walks and adventures with dogs. Most of my friends have dogs and I love going for Saturday morning coffee and dog walks with them. I also work from home on Mondays, so I’m around all day for walks, feeding, toilet breaks and plenty of company. Your dog will get lots of attention, playtime and care throughout their stay! Your dog will be cared for in a calm, loving home with a large secure enclosed garden where they can safely play and explore. I currently don’t have pets, so your dog will have plenty of space and attention. I always make sure dogs are well looked after, exercised, comfortable and treated like part of the family!

About: After leaving the nursing profession 10 years I set up my own dog walking and boarding business in London and had many regular clients for 8 years. Eventfully I moved up to Northumberland where there was little need for dog day care.... In 2021 I then moved to Somerset and once again have the time to dedicate my time caring for dogs. I am a retired nurse, so any dogs who come for day care or home boarding stay will never be left on their own. I have 2 Maltese terriers, one is 13, the 11. They are well used to other dogs in their home and are very sweet natured... Home from home comfort is offered! I have a large fenced and hedged front an back garden. I have access to some of the loveliest walks in Somerset from the Quantocks to Exmoor.

About: I’ve taken care of two crazy black Labradors since I was 13 years old. I had so much fun teaching them tricks and taking them for swims in the sea. Now I’m at university I miss being around and caring for pets so much and the thing I looked forwards to most about going home is seeing them. I’m currently at Exeter University studying Medicine. Whilst the course is intense I don’t have many in person contact sessions or lectures and so I am able to schedule my studies so that I’ll have lots of free time to dog sitting /walking . In a pet owners home I will make sure I listen and follow any instructions that are given to me by the owner to ensure the safety of the pet.

Paddy had a wonderful stay with Shelagh and her husband Pete. Paddy can get overexcited on meeting new people and had not boarded away from home or stayed with another dog before so we were uncertain how he would react. We needn’t have worried. Shelagh and Pete are very animal aware and felt he’d settle into his new routine. He had an initial two day visit, spent a lovely time running free in the enclosed field, and we returned to collect him finding the two dogs perfectly happy wandering around together. A real success - we instantly booked Paddy for a week’s stay so we could go away on holiday on our own. Very pleased and grateful for Shelagh & Pete’s care.

My parents as well as three siblings (all over the age of 11) We have two budgies, Blueberry and Mango - they live upstairs and won't be around your dog. Our home may sound like a lot but we have plenty of space for your pup and will make them feel a part of our family when boarding. I have also had experience in walking and sitting dogs during this past 8 months and I can't get enough of it. Im happy to work with all types of dogs including puppies and geriatrics. I have the time and energy to take great care of your dog. If there's any specific needs just message and ill do my best to accommodate! I work with all types of breeds and sizes. You can send me a message if you need your pal to be walked, boarded or checked up on. Requests are welcomed if anything needs to accommodated I’ll will do my best to make sure it’s done. I have a fenced garden and no other dogs in the house just budgies with are housed upstairs. About: I have not known life without either a cat or dog, and when I became a dog mum nine years ago, I formed a bond I never knew was possible. It gave me a deep understanding of just how much our pets mean to us — they are family. Alongside caring for my own dog, I have looked after dogs for family and neighbours, including in-home boarding and walks. I know how important it is to feel completely confident leaving your dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I offer a calm, safe and loving environment where your dog can feel relaxed and at home. I take time to understand each dog’s individual needs — whether that’s gentle walks, playtime, routine, or simply a quiet space to rest. I am reliable, attentive and genuinely love being around dogs. Your dog’s comfort, safety and happiness will always come first. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, as I work from home on a freelance basis and am around for most of the day. This means your dog will have consistent company, supervision, and a calm, reassuring environment rather than being left alone for long periods. I structure the day around each dog’s individual needs, with walks in the morning, at lunchtime, after work, and before bedtime. Whether your dog enjoys gentle strolls, playtime, or a slower pace, I adapt to what helps them feel most comfortable and settled. Evenings are relaxed and homely, and I am very happy for dogs to sleep in my bedroom if this is what they are used to, so they feel safe, secure, and not alone overnight. I care for every dog as if they were my own, creating a space where they feel safe, settled, and truly at home. Safety and trust are very important to me, and I always aim to create a calm, secure and respectful environment for every dog in my care. At home, I have a secure, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely spend time outdoors. Inside, my home is clean, tidy and relaxed, providing a comfortable space where dogs can settle and feel at ease. I keep a close eye on each dog at all times and follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, and rest. When caring for dogs in an owner’s home, I am respectful, reliable and treat the space with care. I follow all instructions carefully to ensure your dog feels safe in their familiar environment, and I maintain the same level of cleanliness and attention as I would in my own home. I take time to understand each dog’s individual needs and always prioritise their safety, comfort and wellbeing.

Chocs said "Laura was great; she should come back every time you swan off on this and that". And I believe every little thing Chocs tell me. How else could I know how it all was good? I wasn't here for the six hours that Laura reigned supreme. What I am sure about, is that it was all mutual smiles when I returned. Top Marks!

Laura and her partner were wonderful looking after Obi! You can tell they are experienced with caring for multiple dogs, they kept me updated throughout Obi's stay, and he had the best time making two new friends ☺️ I would recommend Laura for looking after your furry pet!

About: I am an experienced veterinarian from Turkey with 4 years of hands-on clinical practice in a busy pet clinic. I recently moved to the UK with my spouse, who is also a veterinarian. While I am currently improving my English to achieve my RCVS registration, my true passion remains caring for animals—and luckily, the language of love and care for pets is universal! In Turkey, my role as a clinician was incredibly comprehensive and hands-on. I didn't just work in the surgery or examination rooms; I provided full-service care, which included: In-home medical treatments and medication administration. Pet boarding management, ensuring all daily needs, feeding schedules, and long walks were perfectly met. Hygiene & Grooming: Experienced in professional bathing, nail trimming, and hair clipping. Behavior & Training: Thanks to my deep interest in animal behavior courses during my university years, I am well-versed in understanding pet psychology and providing basic training. I am looking for part-time pet care opportunities to stay connected to my lifelong profession while improving my English. While I am still building my confidence in human conversation, I completely understand the language of pets. Your furry family members will be in the safest, most professional hands possible! As I am currently managing a flexible schedule while focusing on my language studies, I have excellent availability for part-time pet care. Daycare & Boarding: Your pet will never be left alone. Our daily routine includes regular feeding intervals, multiple refreshing walks, and plenty of playtime. Active Engagement: Since I am home most of the day, I can strictly follow your pet's specific routine, text you regular updates, and send photos throughout the day. Your pet's health and safety are my absolute highest priorities. Coming from a professional veterinary background, I bring a level of clinical awareness that standard sitters cannot offer. I can easily spot early signs of stress or discomfort and manage strict medication schedules or special diets if needed. My home and neighborhood offer the ultimate environment for a pet's happiness: Massive Nearby Park: I live just a 4-minute walk away from a huge park, which is perfect for long, energetic walks and outdoor fun (you can check the park's map in my profile photos!). Secure Private Garden: My home features a secure, enclosed garden, providing an excellent and safe private play area where your dog can stretch their legs safely. Bad-Weather Indoor Play Area: Even if the UK weather turns rainy, your pet won't miss out on exercise. My house has a spacious, completely empty attic that I set up as a dedicated indoor play zone to keep them active and entertained. I handle every pet with the clinical responsibility of a veterinarian and the love of a true animal enthusiast. Your furry family members will be in the safest hands possible!

Ralph had a wonderful day with Liz while we had a family day out at Butlins nearby. She had him at short notice, was lovely and friendly and really easy to communicate with. Her own dogs were great company for Ralph. I always think it’s proof of an enjoyable day when he spends the whole evening sprawled out snoozing! Thanks Liz.

About: Apart from being a professional piano teacher and musician my world is about animal care . I share my home with 3 dogs , 4 cats , 6 horses and 6 sheep , and 1 hamster most being rescued at some. point ! I grew up with dogs and have always had at least 3 dogs to care for and same with cats and horses! I’m experienced with young pups having had several litters myself and elderly dogs needing a loving and caring environment to feel safe . Living on top of Exmoor we have fantastic walks available and I have a large secure garden too ! I work from home apart from one day a week and am there to care for my own animals and yours 24/7. Most importantly your pets need to feel happy and safe and loved in a new unfamiliar environment and they will be welcome as part of the family from the moment they arrive . We truly are a home from home where your pets will be our number one priority . I currently work part time from home and am available to care for your pets 6 days per week with overnight care also . My dogs are never left unattended and they are my priority . I will aim to fit in with your usual pet schedule . My dogs and cats are very friendly and used to having new friends to stay . The dogs ages range from 1.5 yrs to 14 so they adapt well to other dogs . I have a secure garden and lots of space in the house and your dog can have total freedom in the home environment . Walks are taken away from the road and dogs kept on a long lead if preferred . I work from home part time apart from one day away per week and so can devote myself completely to your dogs and my dogs needs . Animals tend to rule the roost here ! I have a secure house and a fenced garden with lots of space and a separate fenced patio, and so a very secure environment .

Currently in between jobs so could do with some extra money. Each week I can be flexible. Evenings are also a possibility as well as weekends. I have a modest sized house with sufficient fencing.

About: I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats (big and small)! This involves grooming, giving meds to senior felines and canines and weaning puppies from 3 weeks of age! I am also capable of training basic tricks from scratch, especially to younger dogs :) I’ve worked in a Dog Groomers for a few years now which has made me extremely patient meaning I can cope well with all types of temperaments and learnt to respect the boundaries of animals. My friends and family have trusted me plenty of times to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight, as they know I’ll provide them with updates throughout! I’ve been bonding and caring for my rescue cat since I was 4 years old. She means everything to me and she’s still here 18 years later happy as Larry! Having this strong bond with her has gained me an understanding of how important a pet’s happiness is to their owner, so I’d love to be apart of that whilst you are away! I have just graduated from University with a degree in Zoology, but I am now based in Minehead for work, however the rota changes each week. Due to this, I would have to play it by ear on availability but will try my best to work around the hours I do with you! I’m an active person so my walks can range from 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the breed and your preference, I’m also capable of walking multiple dogs at a time :) After each drop in, walk or house sit I will ensure your home is left tidy and your pet is left happy! If you need me to crate your pet at any time, just let me know! You will receive regular photo updates of your pets whilst you’re gone if this is of interest to you (I have interest in animal photography so it would be my pleasure!) :)

I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! Honestly, I can’t praise Julia enough. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful friend to care for Heidi when we go away. Thanks a million, Julia! Xx

About: With lots of hands on experience caring for animals after many years of pet ownership! From owning pets at the age of three, to looking after loved ones' pets and working in wildlife conservation - I am a huge animal lover and have spent nearly my whole life surrounded by them! My experience mostly lies with dogs, cats and rabbits - but also varies from sea turtles to other marine animals! In my background, I have developed a strong knowledge and understanding of animals and their needs. I know how important it is to provide them with attention, companionship, exercise and, most importantly, safety! I am familiar with caring for pets - including feeding, walking, administering basic care, maintaining routines and ensuring they feel comfortable and happy. I am currently a Marine Biology student, who loves nature/animals and will be living at home over the summer, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and provide them with bespoke care! I am available on weekdays and at weekends - after 5pm on Saturdays and 1pm on Sundays. My daily routine involves early morning walks/runs in the countryside and often a wild swim, following some afternoon studying and administration. So whether your pet loves being outside and letting off some steam or prefers to stay indoors and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, my schedule is flexible and I will be able to cater to all furry friends! At my home, I have a front gate/porch and a fenced back garden to keep your fur baby safe and secure. Also, I can easily crate your pet if necessary. I do not have any other pets or children present in my home environment, nor is it a busy setting with lots of activity or high noise levels. I believe clear communication is key, as I am aware that each pet is unique and has individual requirements, alongside every owner having personal preferences. I will always do my very best to provide the top level of care for your pet.
