Your Pet’s Second Home 🐾💛

I’ve worked with dogs for years and have experience with all types of temperaments — from confident, social dogs to those who need a calmer, more patient approach. I walk dogs daily, offering both solo and small group walks, so I understand behaviour, body language and how to keep dogs safe and relaxed outdoors. I’m confident handling strong pullers, nervous dogs, puppies and those who need a bit of extra reassurance. I always focus on building trust, giving structure, and creating a calm environment. Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me — I genuinely enjoy being in their company and making sure they feel secure, understood and looked after like they’re my own 🐶💛

Doggy Day Care • Apr 22, 2026

Rachel went above and beyond looking after our 4 month old puppy. She would take her out each day and socialise her with other dogs, we are thankful for Rachel’s professionalism and dedication to looking after Willow. She kept in contact throughout the entire time, providing knowledge and photo updates. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Can't recommend Rachel high enough, came through with short notice as we were let down by a previous sitter. Wasn't a problem for Rachel,. Communication was amazing which was great as this was the first time I had left Betsy for a longer period of time. Everything with Rachel was very easy and stress frrr

Dog Walking • Apr 18, 2026

Rachel was absolutely brilliant walking our two boys from April 13th–17th. We started with a meet and greet where she was incredibly chilled and patient, even with the high-energy chaos that comes with spaniels! They bonded with her immediately. Throughout the week, Rachel was punctual, friendly, and provided fantastic communication. I loved receiving the Rover updates which included their walk times, distance, and lovely photos of them out and about. It gave us total peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker. Thank you so much for your help!

Doggy Day Care • Mar 22, 2026

Rachel did a good job looking after my 11m old dog for the day. She met him in advance, was flexible in terms of the pick up and drop off , communicated regularly and was a great help all round. Would absolutely recommend her.

House Sitting • Mar 18, 2026

Rachel was brilliant, highly recommend her and will definitely call on her again. She was quick to respond, polite, arranged a meet and greet, arrived on time and asked questions to clarify Sadie’s care needs. Sadie seemed very happy in her company. Thank you Rachel ☺️

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I already walk dogs throughout the week, offering both solo and small group walks. At the moment, my main availability for boarding and longer stays is on weekends, which allows me to give your dog my full attention without rushing or splitting time. During the week, your dog can join me for walks if needed, but weekends are when I’m fully dedicated to providing a calm, safe and structured home environment. This setup means your dog gets plenty of company, exercise and care while still keeping their routine consistent.

Safety, trust & environment

I create a calm, clean and structured environment where dogs can feel secure and settled. I pay close attention to body language, introduce dogs slowly and safely, and only match them with others if I feel it’s the right fit. In my care, dogs are always supervised, walked responsibly and kept in safe spaces both indoors and outdoors. I follow your routines closely, keep hygiene standards high, and make sure every dog has fresh water, comfortable resting areas and plenty of reassurance. My aim is to give you total peace of mind by treating your dog with the same care, consistency and responsibility I would give my own.

A typical day

Your dog’s day with me is relaxed, safe and structured. Depending on what suits them best, they’ll either come on solo walks or join a small, well-matched group for a bit of social time. Solo walks are great for dogs who prefer their own space or need a quieter pace, while group outings are ideal for confident dogs who enjoy company. I choose walking spots based on your dog’s needs — whether they like a peaceful route or something a bit more stimulating. During the day, I make sure they’re kept clean and comfortable with simple wipe-downs, paw checks, toilet breaks, fresh water and their usual feeding routine. They’ll have time to rest indoors as well as enjoy play, light training and games to keep their mind active. My aim is to give your dog a day that feels safe, calm and familiar — like they’re staying with their family.

To make sure your dog is safe, comfortable and well cared for, I’ll ask for a few basic details before their stay. This includes their name, age, breed, normal routine, feeding schedule and any food sensitivities or medications. I’ll also need to know how they are on walks, around other dogs, their recall, and anything that may worry or trigger them. Vet details and up-to-date vaccinations are important for safety. If your dog is staying overnight or for daycare, it helps to know their sleeping routine, any house rules you follow, and the things they enjoy or dislike. The more I know, the more I can keep their day feeling familiar, calm and comfortable.
