Hey there! My name is Carla. I have a real passion for looking after dogs; I grew up with 4 dogs ever since I was a young child. As I no longer have pets of my own, I would love to spend my extra time caring for dogs. That’s why Rover is the perfect opportunity for me. I have now been doing Rover for over 5 years, and I have previously looked after chihuahua puppies, miniature poodles, maltese, spaniels, terriers, etc. I am very natural at working with dogs.

Another really EXCELLENT visit by Carla today. Despite the rain Carla fed and took my dogs out. She also towelled them dry and cleaned the mud spattered across my hallway walls, staying extra time to do that. Really good and caring sitter, already booked for next week!
Carla was absolutely brilliant with Romy. She was very quick to reply to messages and kept us constantly updated, sending photos almost every hour, which was really reassuring. Romy is only a 5-month-old puppy, so we were a bit nervous at first, but Carla made her feel comfortable straight away. Just a few hours after we dropped her off, Romy was already happily curled up having a nap on the sofa: relaxed, calm and clearly at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better day care experience and would happily recommend Carla to anyone, especially with young puppies.
Carla looked after our 6 month old puppy, she was great at communicating before the booking, asked all the questions she needed and took great care of Maisy. She came back home, looking happy and refused to get in the car when we came to collect her as she had so much fun!
Our cocker spaniel, Tilly, had a lovely one night stay with Carla. We were able to meet up a few days before so Tilly could get to know her and then when we dropped her off she seemed excited to go in! Tilly has been a little out of sorts recently and a bit more needy but Carla had time to give her lots of attention and cuddles, and also sent us some lovely photos. Would definitely recommend Carla and I'm sure we will book her again in the future.

Schedule
I have left part-time work to go back and finish my final year at university. My schedule is very flexible with most of my classes being available online, which gives me plenty of free time to dedicate to dog sitting. I’m often home studying, so your pet will have lots of company and attention!

A typical day
Happy to walk the dogs as many times a day as needed, and love to play fetch with them or keep them mentally active with little tricks and games :)
