We cannot recommmed Isabelle more! She was absolutely fantastic and highly accommodating for our nervous Great Dane. She kept us updated and really bonded with our dog. Isabelle is fantastic, I don't think we could have asked for more in her care for our slightly nervous and often shy Sprocker Puppy, Moose. Right from my first enquiry , she has been so thorough and professional to ensure she understood as much about him.as possible to create a home from home for the 10 days she cared for him. He settled in so well and loved being with her and in her home surroundings. Moose had a slight ear problem whilst we were away, Isabelle made sure the trip to the vet, communication and subsequent medication were all just dealt with without drama. We had a brilliant holiday, knowing our puppy was so well cared for. I think he would have loved to have stayed with Isabelle! I can thoroughly recommend Isabelle to the point we wont book a holiday unless she is available.too. The daily updates and pictures were so lovely to receive also. Thank you Isabelle

Your dog will be staying in a safe, peaceful, and enriching home environment designed with their happiness in mind. My countryside cottage is not only cozy and welcoming—it’s also built to cater to dogs of all kinds. The property features a secure, fully fenced garden where pups can sniff, explore, and play freely under supervision. We even have a small, shallow river nearby—perfect for safe splash time and sensory stimulation for water-loving dogs (with your permission, of course!). Inside, dogs can relax in warm, inviting spaces—whether that’s curling up by the fire or lounging in sunny spots around the home. For downtime or quiet moments, there’s also a private doggy room stocked with toys, chews, puzzles, and calming enrichment activities to keep minds and tails happy. Clean, organized, and safety-checked, my home is not just pet-friendly—it’s pet-first. Every detail is designed to ensure your dog feels comfortable, stimulated, and truly at home.
A typical day
Every day at my cottage begins with a gentle wake-up and a warm greeting in a calm, cozy environment designed to make your dog feel right at home. After a healthy breakfast, it’s time for the first adventure of the day—a walk either around the secure, fully fenced garden or out to one of the stunning nearby local trails. These trails offer wonderful opportunities for your dog to explore new scents, enjoy fresh air, and get some exercise. Some favorite nearby spots include The Tarka trail known for its peaceful woodland paths, and Westward Ho beach ,where dogs can safely splash in the water and play along the shore. Back at the cottage, your dog will enjoy plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. This includes playtime in the garden, interactive toys and puzzles in their private doggy room, and lots of relaxing downtime in sunny, cozy spots inside the home. I tailor activities to match each dog’s energy levels and personality, making sure every pup stays happy, engaged, and comfortable. Meals and potty breaks follow a consistent routine based on your dog’s needs, helping to reduce stress and maintain their usual schedule. In the late afternoon or early evening, we’ll take another stroll—perhaps along the beach or a quiet trail—to wind down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, during each stay, every dog is guaranteed one special outing or activity—whether that’s a fun trip to the local pet store to pick out a new toy or treat, or a visit for a delicious “pup cup.” These little extras add a special touch to their stay and make sure they feel truly spoiled. At night, your dog settles into their own private space filled with familiar toys and comforts, perfect for a restful sleep. Throughout their stay, I provide regular photo updates and detailed communication so you can relax knowing your furry friend is safe, loved, and thriving.
