I’m friendly and responsible and I absolutely loves dogs and being active. I work from home most days so can be with your dog all day. Your pets will be given all the attention and/or space they need. I have experience with dogs from volunteering with the cinnamon trust, which involved walking dogs for the elderly, looking after my family’s pets and dogs, looking after friend’s dogs and helping to care for my boyfriends’ 2 ShihTzus. I absolutely love dogs but do not have one of my own so your dog will be my sole focus :) I live right on moors so your dog can run as much as they want and go and explore round the huge woodlands, open areas and fields. I am happy to keep dogs on a lead or have them off lead - what ever you would rather. I love to hike and be outside so your dog will be well exercised but I also love to just chill on the sofa so I can accommodate all types of activity levels. I will listen to all of your instructions about your beloved friend so they will be very well looked after!! Thank you so much for choosing to entrust me with your pet :)

We got in touch with Victoria couple of weeks before booking her and felt very comfortable with our choice from the moment we met. We've been away for over two weeks and Victoria was booked for drop in visits for our two cats. She's been so wonderful and went above and beyond with the care, thoughtfulness and love she gave to our two cats. We received daily updates and photos, and could see Victoria gave a lot of attention to our cats' needs and comfort, taking time to see how they really are doing. We have returned home to very happy cats and are feeling very lucky to have met her, and would definitely contact Victoria in future again!
Victoria is such a wonderful sitter! Asked all the right questions before and met for a meet and greet without any difficulty. Sent many photos and videos throughout the stay alongside general updates to let me know how Peggy was getting on. Would definitely re-book! Thank you so much! 🙏🏽♥️
Thanks for entertaining Charlie. I’m glad that he was able to join in for the online meeting! We’ll certainly look for some other dates (hopefully when not in a heat wave), as he’d love chasing his ball around Crapstone.
Victoria ticked all the boxes regarding walking and taking care of my dog and also managed to get our house rescue cat to say hello to her. I Initially met Victoria in Torquay near her family home in February 2026 and discussed in detail my dogs requirement and her separation anxiety and one of the reasons we chose her was due to her working from home so my dog wouldn’t be alone for more than 4 hours each day. The week before the sitting Victoria visited our home to meet my dog again which was great but then mentioned she’d now moved location and that her grandparents were visiting the family home the first 3 days out of the 7 days we had booked. This being the case she was initially going to leave my dog on the first evening of looking after her to go for dinner with them and a whole day over the next two days and offered to take my dog with her. With only a week to go before the sitting I reluctantly agreed. Subsequently I then decided the best thing for my dog was to be at home with all of her familiar things and home rather than with strangers and a different home for a full day so arranged for a friend to pop in late afternoon to take my dog up the garden and feed her. Victoria left at 11am and returned at 10pm and did however that morning offer for her boyfriend to return early at 3pm to look after my dog but I’d already made arrangements with my friend. I think if you are offering and being paid for dog/house sitting you provide that service to the clients requirements and arrange for family gatherings another time when you don’t have bookings, especially with a nervous dog.

Victoria looked after our dog Otto this weekend. He has stayed with her once before and always has the best time! It's so nice for us to see Otto excited to see Victoria again and for us to be able to relax knowing that he is being well looked after.

Schedule
I am very active so taking a dog out for regular walks is no problem as it fits in with my normal routine. I have my own car so we can venture out and explore new places.

Safety, trust & environment
I will give the dog their own space if they need it or I will be with them constantly depending on their personality. They will be the sole pets in my home so there is no issues of keeping anyone separate. In an owners home I will listen and respect all the instructions given to me and follow them to a t!
A typical day
i love being outside so we can go and explore Devon. My favourite place on earth and where I spend most of my weekends is Dartmoor. There are so many things to do there and your dog can come along with me.
