About: Hello! My name is Hannah. I have loved dogs since my little Westie Frodo (only the size of a jacket potato!) entered my life when I was 3 years old. Since then, I admire every pup that walks past me. Luckily for me, I work for Brittany Ferries, so I get to sign in all the holiday ready pets! I have been looking after dogs since I was little, my dog Frodo was the light of my life, I wanted to do everything that would make him happy. I was also the first call when friends needed a place for their pet to stay, as they knew I would put all my attention on looking after their pup (I also love taking photos, so they enjoyed recieving updates!). Currently I am regularly looking after a little darling dog named Snowy and also house sitting for friends with two new tiny kittens! Last year I did a Pet First Aid course. I currently work part time (every Sunday and 1 Tuesday a month), and when not working I am making art at home so regular pee breaks remind me to get up and take care of myself too! I live in a large house/land with a few other families. This includes 2 cats, 2 dogs and small children. In the house, which I have a room in and the pet will stay, we have two cats roaming around. One loves cuddles (even from dogs!) and the other is a grump, but if given space he doesn't mind being around a dog. A few steps from the house there is a big field, great to throw a ball and to do a quick morning pee before I have time to make a coffee! Just off of the land, it's a 10 minute walk through fields to the moors! So great walks are awaiting. As for home visits, my goal is to make sure the pet has some quality play/cuddle time and a wee and snack, so they can tire out then nap until you return home!

“I chose Sophie and Nick based on their combined excellent reviews and experience on Rover. I wasn’t able to meet them personally before the booking but they were very happy to atramge a video call and talk through all my queries and concerns before we booked. My two miniature dachshunds can be anxious and difficult and need patient and kind care. Sophie and Nick were amazing. The greatest recommendation is that my dogs were calm and very happy when I collected them. Stella who is particularly anxious was loving and affectionate with both Sophie and Nick as we left so I know they have been cared for impeccably. We received daily updates and Sophie always responded immediately when I contacted her. I would highly recommend this couple and would not hesitate to trust them with my beloved dogs in future. About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

“Our dog, Daisy, had a wonderful weekend with Megan. Megan catered for her every need in the most loving and attentive way. Nothing was too much trouble for Megan and she went to all lengths to ensure Daisy was happy and settled. Her location is perfect for dogs, surrounded by accessible fields which Daisy had plenty of running around in as well as longer walks she was taken on. Communication was excellent which made drop off and pick up very smooth and easy. Megan provided photos to re-assure us all was well. We would certainly recommend her and would have no hesitation in using her again.”

My sister and brother both have jack russells and I look after them both when they need me too! I currently work part time.
