About: Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm 40 and a lifelong dog lover. I've grown up with dogs and have regularly looked after friends' dogs over the years, so I'm now excited to offer a home-from-home service to other dog owners. I have a lovely Labrador called Ginny, who is almost 10 years old. She's extremely friendly, calm and absolutely loves meeting other dogs. She's very well trained, non-aggressive and easy-going...although she's a also a typical lab who's definitely easily won over with a bit of food and attention! I live with my partner, Joe, in a comfortable, dog-friendly home where visiting dogs can relax and feel part of the family. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and will sleep downstairs, so they can settle into a familiar and relaxed routine. We have a fully secure back garden and we're in a fantastic location for dog walks. There's an open field and woodland area directly opposite our home, with beaches and a canal also within walking distance as well as plenty of other wooded areas to explore. I also have a secure car suitable for transporting dogs, so I'm happy to take dogs out for walks or adventures further afield when appropriate. I'm happy to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages, provided they are house-trained and not destructive or prone to chewing. I only take a maximum of two visiting dogs at a time, so I can give each dog plenty of individual attention and make sure they feel comfortable and settled. I'm at home all day from Friday through Sunday. During the week I work during school hours, so my weekday availability is more limited. My aim is to give your dog a safe, relaxed and loving home while you're away with plenty of attention, cuddles, lovely walks and, of course, the occasional treat! I'd always be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so we can make sure your dog and Ginny are a good match. My routine allows me to offer the most availability from Friday through Sunday, when I’m at home all day and can give dogs plenty of attention, company and regular walks. During the week I work during school hours, so my availability is more limited during the daytime. I’m happy to work around each dog’s usual routine as much as possible, including their normal feeding, exercise and rest times. I’m also able to provide a calm, relaxed home environment where dogs can settle into their own routine while they’re staying with me. Your dog’s safety and happiness are really important to me. I have a fully secure back garden and live opposite an open field and woodland with beaches, a canal and other lovely walking areas all nearby. I only care for a maximum of two visiting dogs at a time, so I can give each dog plenty of individual attention. My Labrador, Ginny, is almost 10, extremely friendly and relaxed, very well trained and non-aggressive, and gets on well with other dogs. Dogs staying with me are welcome on the sofa and sleep downstairs in our home, so they can feel comfortable and part of the family. I also have a secure car suitable for travelling with dogs. I’m happy to follow each dog’s usual routine and care requirements, and I’d always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable and that the dogs are a good match.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

About: I began by independently fostering a pregnant cat who I rescued from the streets, providing housing and care throughout her pregnancy and raising her kittens to ensure their health and development. This experience led me to a role at an animal rescue, where I worked for approximately a year caring for rescue cats and dogs, managing all aspects of their care. About: Hello! My name is Hannah. I have loved dogs since my little Westie Frodo (only the size of a jacket potato!) entered my life when I was 3 years old. Since then, I admire every pup that walks past me. Luckily for me, I work for Brittany Ferries, so I get to sign in all the holiday ready pets! I have been looking after dogs since I was little, my dog Frodo was the light of my life, I wanted to do everything that would make him happy. I was also the first call when friends needed a place for their pet to stay, as they knew I would put all my attention on looking after their pup (I also love taking photos, so they enjoyed recieving updates!). Currently I am regularly looking after a little darling dog named Snowy and also house sitting for friends with two new tiny kittens! Last year I did a Pet First Aid course. I currently work part time (every Sunday and 1 Tuesday a month), and when not working I am making art at home so regular pee breaks remind me to get up and take care of myself too! I live in a large house/land with a few other families. This includes 2 cats, 2 dogs and small children. In the house, which I have a room in and the pet will stay, we have two cats roaming around. One loves cuddles (even from dogs!) and the other is a grump, but if given space he doesn't mind being around a dog. A few steps from the house there is a big field, great to throw a ball and to do a quick morning pee before I have time to make a coffee! Just off of the land, it's a 10 minute walk through fields to the moors! So great walks are awaiting. As for home visits, my goal is to make sure the pet has some quality play/cuddle time and a wee and snack, so they can tire out then nap until you return home!
About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.

About: When I was younger we had guinea pigs (6 over the years). I am an auntie to 2 gorgeous bunnies, who I regularly take care of. Also a cousin of 2 very energetic dogs who have various sleepovers with me and lots of walks! Frequently take care of our neighbour's cats. About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. My family are all dog crazy. My moms had dogs since I was a child and still does till this day. So I know what it’s like to look after our best four legged friends. Myself and Scott live in a detached 4 bed bungalow in Devon. We have acres of private land where we walk and exercise Rex daily. Rex our beautiful boy fox Rex lab loves dogs and thrives with other four legged friends. He will be 2 in November 2026 and his bring so much joy to our life’s. I am stay home husband whilst my partner Scott runs a big cow dairy. I am home 7 days a week so your dog will get the best care and attention throughout there stay with us. I am experienced with keeping on top of medication if your dog requires and happy to be instructed for what your dog needs to ensure it’s the best and positive experience whilst on holiday with me. I would love to meet and greet your dogs before you book for your reassurance. If they are good on or off lead I will do as the owner requires and requests. About: Being a registered veterinary nurse, I have cared for numerous pets both in private practice and the charity sector. I have also achieved a masters in clinical animal behaviour to progress my ambition to care for animals around me in a holistic manner. Having this education and experience, I am confident in caring after both dogs and cats and providing them with love and care! I have hand reared kittens and raised my family pet from 8 weeks so have good experience with both young and old pets. I have recently moved back home to Devon and actively looking for work. About: I began by independently fostering a pregnant cat who I rescued from the streets, providing housing and care throughout her pregnancy and raising her kittens to ensure their health and development. This experience led me to a role at an animal rescue, where I worked for approximately a year caring for rescue cats and dogs, managing all aspects of their care. About: I have always had a strong love for animals and plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I have my own Blue Staffy who is now 15 years old, so I have grown up caring for and looking after a dog throughout all stages of their life. I also regularly help look after my boyfriend’s three dogs throughout the week, giving me experience with caring for multiple dogs with different personalities and needs. When I was a teenager, I was regularly trusted by neighbours, family and friends to walk their dogs, and was paid to provide this care. I also regularly dog and house sit for family and friends whenever i can. I have a lovely Labrador called Ginny, who is almost 10 years old. She's extremely friendly, calm and absolutely loves meeting other dogs. She's very well trained, non-aggressive and easy-going...although she's a also a typical lab who's definitely easily won over with a bit of food and attention! I live with my partner, Joe, in a comfortable, dog-friendly home where visiting dogs can relax and feel part of the family. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and will sleep downstairs, so they can settle into a familiar and relaxed routine. We have a fully secure back garden and we're in a fantastic location for dog walks. There's an open field and woodland area directly opposite our home, with beaches and a canal also within walking distance as well as plenty of other wooded areas to explore. I also have a secure car suitable for transporting dogs, so I'm happy to take dogs out for walks or adventures further afield when appropriate. About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

“I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles!
