Devon Dog Lovers
I’ve been around dogs all my life. My family are all dog crazy. My moms had dogs since I was a child and still does till this day. So I know what it’s like to look after our best four legged friends. Myself and Scott live in a detached 4 bed bungalow in Devon. We have acres of private land where we walk and exercise Rex daily. Rex our beautiful boy fox Rex lab loves dogs and thrives with other four legged friends. He will be 2 in November 2026 and his bring so much joy to our life’s. I am stay home husband whilst my partner Scott runs a big cow dairy. I am home 7 days a week so your dog will get the best care and attention throughout there stay with us. I am experienced with keeping on top of medication if your dog requires and happy to be instructed for what your dog needs to ensure it’s the best and positive experience whilst on holiday with me. I would love to meet and greet your dogs before you book for your reassurance. If they are good on or off lead I will do as the owner requires and requests. I really look forward to building up my client base and helping you have your well earned breaks. They will be loved fed and watered and have a field day with us. We were staying in Bude, and while visiting Cornwall wanted to do some activities where dogs are not allowed. At first we found it difficult to search for doggy day care and then we came across Rover and Dale's Doggy Day Care. We were nervous to leave our dog, Wafer with a stranger, in an area we didn't know. Dale was very welcoming and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. Our dog is very friendly, however at first seemed a bit nervous to meet Rex, Dayle's dog. Dale took the time to help Wafer settle in and within minutes of us leaving we received pictures of our dog enjoying the place. The second day, Wafer was still a little bit nervous to stay, which didn't help us feel good about leaving him for another day. Dale was quickly on the case to help him settle again and the videos we received showed us how happy Wafer was, once we left. Of course, as always, noone is as happy to see you as your dog! Wafer was happy to be back with us and tired, ready to relax, which was great for us 👍🏼 Wafer's profile picture on Rover is one of the photos we received from Dale ❤️ We would thoroughly recommend Dale's Doggy Day Care and left his details with our campsite!
I have been bowled over by the care, friendliness and kindness Dale has shown both Maddie and myself over this booking process. From the beginning, Dale was responsive and accommodating to our needs for the day. Throughout the day he made Maddie extremely welcome, alongside lovely Rex! I received information and photos throughout the day, reassuring me all was well and good. Then to finish off the day, Dale made us a beautiful gift of a photo and note from the day- so incredibly kind and thoughtful. You can tell, immediately, that Dale genuinely loves taking care of other people’s dogs and wants them to have a good time. We would book again in an instant. Thanks Dale and Rex!
Runa had the best time with Dale and Rex! At such short notice I couldn’t have asked for better care for Runa during the heatwave. Dale was so good with her and made sure to keep her cool with access to the paddling pool and lots of water and shade. She had a blast with her new best buddy Rex. Thanks so much Dale! Would highly recommend and would certainly use again! Runa had a gorgeous time x
I booked at the last minute, but the response was prompt and everything was handled with ease. Communication was excellent throughout, with plenty of updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. My dog was very well looked after and came home happy and content. I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
A home from home. Dale and Scott looked after Fergus like he was their own. They gave Fergus lots of love, cuddles and belly rubs. Their outside space is safe and secure and location is perfect for long safe walks off lead. We were sent regular photo updates of Fergus’s sleepover and fun he was having out and about.
Dale ,was fantastic definitely five?stars . Dale gave regular updates - by picture and videos he looked after our two dogs wonderfully . A 13 week old puppy and French bulldog who is senior in years . Many Thanks.

Schedule
Myself and Scott live rural in our detached 4 bedroom bungalow surrounded by acres of fields all for our boy Rex and your dog when they come and stay with us. They will be walked and let out as many times as they like. I walk Rex three times a day as he loves to go out for walks. He would really love a friend to experience all these fields with him as he loves to make friends with other dogs. The time they are with me they get 100% my devoted time and attention. Someone is always home 24/7.

I have a large garden around my big bungalow which is all fenced. We have acres of land around us all private so they will have such a good time exploring with Rex. I will always walk new boarder dogs on the lead unless the owner is 100% confident there recall is great otherwise they will be kept safe and close whilst having lots of fun. I will send regular updates and pictures as I know how important it is to know how your pet is getting on. I really love to see dogs thriving and having an amazing time. All dogs deserve the best in my eyes. Your dog will be treated with lots of love like Rex does.
Pets
A typical day
In the day we will wake up for hugs and kisses and reassurance if unsure as new surroundings. Then it will be feed time. Please let me know if your dog needs to be fed separately as Rex will let anyone by his food etc. I know some dogs are very reactive to this so be good to know. Then it will be stimulation with games in the garden followed by lots of walks and treats. If you want to provide your dog’s favourite treat that would be great.
