“I arrived to drop off Bailey with Camila and her partner was there too. I don't even think Bailey was bothered it I was still there out not. Camila kept me up to date that Bailey was getting on well with her dog and that he had a good night. I've already booked another 2 stays as I felt so relaxed that Bailey was being well looked after. Thank you 😊”

About: 2 for the price of 1! We are a couple who love dogs. We have had our own dogs previously and are very excited to look after and care for your dog when you need it. Great 1 level home with easy step out into the garden. Local park only 200 meters away as well as the beach a ten minute drive. Looked after various breeds and sizes in the past including miniature schnauzers, soft coated wheaten terriers, chocolate labradors, springer spaniels and staffys to name a few. We have also looked after dogs in their old age with various medical issues and administered medication as needed. My partner Gillian and I both have work from home days, we are available fully on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, some Fridays and our weekends are free. We do not have any children. Our offices are a 5 minute drive from home so we can get back to the house on office days very quickly for toilet breaks, feeding time etc. On weekends we are active but also like our rest time so are very flexible to accommodate your dog. Gill loves to paint animals too so if you would like a portrait painting of your loved one then just ask! We have a fenced garden with a lot of room for running around, our property is on one level so no stairs to worry about. There is also a park approximately 200 meters away on our road for walks and exercise. No pets currently so our home will be solely for your pet and all attention will be on them. I hope this gives you a good idea of how your dog will be looked after. If you have any questions then please message us and we will be happy to give you any information you need.
“Thank you Matias for looking after Misty. She obviously was well cared for and had lots of walks. Matias kept us informed all the time, and I think Misty would have gone home with him, if we would have let her!!”

“Carolina was so welcoming and caring to our puppy, Ginger. It was the first time we left her and she had a great time. She came back tired and happy from all the play with Carolina’s dog and son. I couldn’t feel better about the experience. Thank you!”

“Piotr was brilliant with our spaniel Lucky who has some separation anxiety. We received regular updates and photos of our happy and relaxed pup having a great time. He clearly enjoyed his stay with Piotr and his lovely family. We would no doubt book again when next in town. Thank you!”

“Sophie has done a wonderful job looking after my pooch. She was more relaxed than me haven just gone away. Thank you Sophie for caring after Rae. I would definitely recommend you to friends not too many tho don't want you over booked. 🤣”

“Angelika was fantastic. She was available shorr notice, accomodating of delays due to traffic and our dog settled really quick and had a great time. Angelika kept us updated with plenty of pics and videos and would highly recommend her.”

“Thanks Katie for looking after Donny. You said you thoroughly enjoyed having him and he seemed very at ease with you when you dropped him off. We organised with short notice and you were quick to respond which really helped me out. You turned up on time, at the agreed time and place. Couldn’t have been easier. I’ll organise another date soon with you. Many thanks.”

“Fabulous dog sitter, Albie had a great time, lots of communication and videos which kept me happy and lots of walks and treats which kept Albie happy. Highly recommended and will definitely book again. Thanks so much”

“Nothing but a glowing reveiw! We left our 15 week old Cavapoo puppy and 7 year old cockapoo with Antoinette for 2 nights, it was there first stay away and we were very nervous. We didnt know Antoinette and we also didnt know how our dogs would be. But, from the minute we arrived at her house she put our minds at ease. Our cockapoo has allergy issues and has medication and special food and the puppy is mid toilet training! Antionette sent very regular updates including photos and videos which was lovely. We could tell that they were being treated as if they were her own and getting lots of attention. We would highly reccomend Antoinette and will definatly be using her services again. Thank you so much our doggies loved you!”

“Pati is amazing! She is really a dog lover. She took care of our puppy very well. We also had a meet to see where our puppy will stay. We could communicate very well. I believe our puppy had a great time with Pati and her dog, Gaia. She also provided some very useful information about feeding our puppy. I do re-book her. Thank you!”

“Paco spent two nights with lovely Sonya, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he received. Sonya and her partner were absolutely amazing with my little one. Every picture and video they sent showed him enjoying himself to the fullest, which completely put my mind at ease. They’re incredibly mindful of each dog’s energy and needs. They treated my boy with so much patience and affection, even though he’s full of beans and can sometimes come across a bit “funny” to people who don’t know him well. They understood him perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters. I truly hope Paco can stay with them again in the future.”

“Amy helped us out with a last minute booking for our little dog. Her communication was very speedy and she sent us pictures throughout the weekend. I would definitely book with her again ☺️.”

“Beau absolutely loved staying over with Keziah and her sweet dog Coco-bear! He had a great time and he went out on some lovely walks. We will not hesitate to use her again! Coco shared his toys with Beau and they got on very well.”

“Charlotte was very helpful to us at a difficult time. She took Balla and Jasper and looked after them wonderfully. They were made at home and made a fuss of……. Thank you very much.”

“Our 14 month old cockapoo had a wonderful time with Amy. He can be a bit clingy but he settled really quickly after I left and was super excited to show me the toys he’d been playing with when I picked him up. I’ve already booked a couple more stays with Amy and there will be more!”

“Oscar loves coming to stay with Joan and her family! He pulls me up the drive to get to her front door. We always get loads of pictures and videos of him having a really good time. Will always use Joan if she’s available.”

“Dawn sent loads of photo updates and kept us updated through out Bronson's stay making us feel at ease. Bronson and Obi had a great time together with loads of walks locally and sun bathing in the garden.”

Maria is a lovely woman, first we went to her home for a meet and greet, then came the time to drop Willa off for her holiday and Maria was so good with Willa, she gave me video and picture updates. I would 100% recommend and will be using Maria again for our next holiday.

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Pepper was in Lauren's care for 4 days, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated with photos and videos every single day — it was such a relief to see him happy and settled while we were away. What really stood out was how comfortable Pepper felt by the end of the stay. When we came back to pick him up, he was so relaxed and at ease that he genuinely didn't want to leave! That says everything about the love and attention he received. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and caring sitter for their cat. We'll definitely be booking again!

Benji was very happy staying with Sarah and Simon over a period of a few weeks. They are clearly people who care about dogs, and the information and updates they shared while benji was with them was excellent. We wouldn's hesitate in recommending Sarah and Simon to ther dog owners, and would welcome the chance to Benji to have another vacation with them in the future. Many thanks to Sarah, Simin and the whole family!

Camila did a brilliant job looking after Ellie for 12 days while we were in Florida. Ellie clearly had a wonderful time, made new friends and got plenty of exercise. Camila regularly sent us photos and videos, which made us feel completely comfortable and reassured that Ellie was happy and in excellent hands. She was also incredibly flexible when we needed to book an additional day at the last minute. Ellie unexpectedly started her season during her stay, but Camila was completely unfazed and handled everything without any complaint or issue. We couldn’t have asked for better care and will definitely be booking with Camila again. Highly recommended!

Jasmine is super! She is kind and caring and thinks about all your dogs needs. Your dog will instantly become part of a family. My westie loves going and runs in as soon as we arrive. This time she needed medication and Jasmine was meticulous with her tablets. A real home from home

Niels and Tanya took amazing care of Nala! From the first meet & greet to the moment I picked her up. They sent incredible pictures of the adventures they went on (exactly what a dog like Nala needs!) and she came home happy, content and relaxed. I won’t hesitate to book again, thank you!

Klaudia was quick to respond to my last minute request to look after our dog, Gary. On collection he was as happy as he ever is, which told me all I needed to know about the care he was given while I was away. Thanks Klaudia for taking great care of our boy. We are incredibly grateful.

Sonya looked after our dog for 6 nights in her home whilst we were away. She also did drop in visits to our rabbit in our home. We couldn't be happier with how both pets were looked after. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was being walked, played with and cared for like he was part of Sonya's family. We had daily photos, videos and messages from Sonya to say how he was getting on. Our bunny was also very well looked after and we had photos of him too. Thank you again, we won't hesitate to book when we next go away.

Our dog Azkar has stayed with Grant a few times now, and he absolutely loves it. As soon as we get to his house he runs straight inside, which is the best sign he enjoys staying there! It’s such a relief knowing he’s happy and well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Grant and we’ll definitely be booking again

This was my second time sending my dog Captain to Angela and her family and they did an amazing job again. He was well and truly looked after and he seemed to remember and settle with the family really easily again. I got lots of updates and photos during the week and could tell how much love and care my Captain was getting. I can't thank Angela enough and absolutely recommend her for other dog owners. I'll absolutely be booking with her again!

Outstanding & highly recommended. Ewa and her partner were amazing with my anxious Labrador Lola. Lola experiences separation anxiety but they were so calm and kind which helped her to settle. They taught her new tricks, took her for plenty of walks (including a swim in the river which she loved) and kept her entertained with ball games. Lola can find it difficult to settle at night when she’s away, but she felt so comfortable with Ewa that there were no problems. I will definitely leave Lola with Ewa and her partner again.

This was my third time using Sophie to board my cockapoo and I honestly cannot praise her enough! My pup is soooo well looked after and always comes home happy and well. Sophie sends regular updates whilst she’s got her (including photos) and she’s always taking her out on lovely walks and has been amazing being careful with her in the heat. I would never book with anyone else at this point as I just trust Sophie so much! Such a kind and genuine person as well! Thanks again Sophie, you really are the best! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
