“It was a perfect 1st stay away from home. Millie was made very welcome and Aga helped her to settle and maintained her routine. Aga couldn't have been more accommodating or caring and her updates with regular photos showing Millie happy and enjoying herself were very reassuring. A great dog minder that I will use again and would be happy to recommend.”

“This is the first time our dog has stayed overnight since losing her partner in crime to old age, so we were cautious about who we chose. We have visited a few other hopefuls, but our dog would shake with fear at the thought of even going into another house, no reflection on the supplier, just our timid dog. When we visited Rachel, we were expecting the same reaction. So when our dog literally bounded into the house and made herself at home, there was a mixture of surprise and relief! Don't know what it is, but our dog was completely at ease within seconds! We found Rachel to be personable, thoughtful and super considerate. We had the opportunity to then book our dog in for a few days before the longer stay planned later in the year, and I'm not sure our dog wanted to leave at the end of it!! We were sent daily photo's and updates, so knew our dog was happy. I can confidently state that Rachel has a way with dogs and would trust her with our dog at the drop of a hat!”

“Angela and her family looked after my dog Captain for the weekend and did an amazing job. He seemed to settle with them well and enjoyed his time with the family. Angela sent over plenty of updates and photos and was really quick to reply to messages. A huge thank you from myself and Captain (aka Pirate)”

“Katiuzca was amazing with Poppy. She instantly made Poppy part of her family and I had lots of lovely photos of her 'holiday'. I wouldn't hesitate to use again. I had plenty of feedback and Poppy was happy to be with Katiuzca”

“It was the first time I had left Lola with someone I didn't know. Jasmine was so lovely, Lola obviously loved her and her family as she settled in straight away! She had plenty of walks, treats and love while she stayed with Jasmine, which is all Lola really wants. Photos reassured me she was doing well 😊”

“This was the first time leaving our pup with anyone, and we couldn't have asked for better. She was taken care of to such a high level that we were worried she wouldn't want to come home. We think she had a lot of fun, and definitely got treated like one of the family. Highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking to find a sitter for their four legged best friend.”

“I collected Molly today after a 2 week stay with Will. She seemed happy and like her normal self. I was pleased to hear she had been on lots of adventures & would like to thank Will for all the photos he provide of her. Thanks”

“Sarah looked after my dog Dobby for 5 nights whilst I went abroad on holiday. Sarah was open to meeting prior to booking to make sure Dobby was happy etc. Sarah and her family are so friendly, warm and welcoming. I had photos and videos regularly so I could see how little man was getting on and be assured all was well. Dobby had a wonderful time with sarah and received lots of love and attention whilst under her care. I’d highly recommend Sarah to any other dog owner and I’ll be rebooking with Sarah moving forward for future holidays and and when needed. I’d like to thank Sarah and her family for looking after dobby and for treating him like one of their own, thank you so much 😊”

About: Hi there! I’m Gleisa, a Polish-Brazilian cat lover. I’m a homebody who’s always cozy in my pajamas, dreaming of a furry friend to cuddle. Since I can’t have a cat of my own here in the UK, I’m excited to connect with some feline companions through this app. I’m ready to shower them with love, attention, and plenty of treats!

“This was the 2nd time we have used Lauren to look after our bengal cat. Lauren was very professional and kept us fully informed with photos and updates. She changed her litter regularly and cleaned up the odd accident and made a fuss of her. We would highly recommend Lauren and will continue to use her whenever we go away.”

About: My husband and I are lifelong animal lovers, and our home is shared with two friendly companions, Rosie our 2-year-old labradoodle and Oliver our 1-year-old cat. They love meeting new friends, though of course we ask owners to keep this in mind. Our pets are treated like part of the family, with the freedom to roam the house and garden, and yes, sofas and beds are very much allowed! We believe in creating a true “home-from-home” where your pets can relax, enjoy cuddles, and feel as if they’re on their own little holiday. Our goal is for them to feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to come back again.

“We booked Linda to do drop ins on our elderly cat Honey while we were away for a week, she was able to do it at short notice and we had no issues at all. You can tell she loves animals and looks after them well. We had photos and an update each time she visited and could see that our cat was content and cared for, and she looked so happy to see her in the photos we were sent.. I genuinely think she will be missed! Honey had her medicine administered at each visit and was given lots of love and attention, we came home to find everything in order and any instructions followed, and with a happy cat, which is the most anyone could ask for ☺️ Linda is such a lovely, caring person and was an absolute joy to be in contact with, you can feel her love for all things small and fuzzy! I highly recommend Linda and want to thank her again for putting our minds at ease and for making each visit special 🥰❤️🙏”

Very reassuring when you are a long way from home. Thanks Maria.”

“First time using Rover and first time for Winnie staying with Sophie for the day. Communication before, during and after was excellent. Meet up beforehand was appreciated and more importantly Sophie was so lovely she put Winnie at ease and Winnie had a lovely day. Thankyou Sophie”

“I cannot rate Sonya highly enough! What an absolutely fantastic sitter. She was prompt, considerate, attentive and conscientious. Wesley is normally very reluctant to go off with people he doesn't know but Sonya ensured that he was well cared for and her patience with him was so special. She paid particular attention to him not over heating, his eating and drinking and his cuddles. I feel so chuffed that we found this true, amazing and capable dogsitter. Thank-you Sonya for your care. And in case it hasn't come across in the above I 100% would trust Sonya with Wesley any time again in the future and recommend her wholeheartedly.”

About: I have taken many of my friends dogs for walks in the park. Sometimes have had the dog to stay if they have gone away for the weekend. Ideally looking to look after small dogs rather than big ones. I am very active as I play many sports so love walking and dog walking is good fun for me. Only available evenings at the moment as I am in between jobs so doing some temp work in the days. I work full time from home Monday-Friday. I am only available weekday evenings & weekends and to help if the owners goes away on holiday too. I am moving to Shrewsbury on the 9th May and my new house has a little closed fence garden. Looking forward to exploring the nearby area and go for park & river walks.
“Amy was wonderful with our Howie from the first moment. It was his first ever overnight stay away from home and her care and attention made sure he was relaxed and comfortable with lots of cuddles and sitting on her lap (probably for most of the time if he got his way). Would definitely recommend Amy to other people and looking forward to him staying there again. Thank you! x”

“Guoda was great! Agreed to help out with my puppy with only a couple of hours notice. You could tell Guoda loves animals instantly with the way she was meeting Skye which gave me a lot of reassurance. I was updated throughout the day with messages and pictures. Will definitely be back to use Guoda again🥰”

About: We’ve grown up surrounded by pets and can’t imagine life without them. From childhood right through to adulthood, caring for animals has always been second nature to us. Over the years, friends, family, neighbours, and even people in our wider community have trusted us time and again as their first choice when it comes to looking after their precious pets. That trust means everything to us, and we treat every animal in our care with the same love, patience, and attention we give our own. Our working hours are flexible and one of us is part time. Our schedules mean that our pets and any visitors will only be left alone for work related reasons for 2-4 hours. We have a secure garden with tall fences. That’s why we pride ourselves on being reliable, responsible, and respectful.
“Nanook has been going to Ruben's weekly for I cannot recall how long. She loves it. It's a home from home and she always has a lovely day with Oggy and Ruben. I can work knowing she's loved and safe and the pupdates throughout the day help settle my mind. She looks forward to every Wednesday and practically drags us to their door. Thank you so much xxx”

“Coco had the most amazing time. Thank you. We are so happy that we found Maria. Maria, was kind enough to send us lots of updates during the time coco was with her. We couldn't be happier.”

About: Hi, I'm Klaudia! I've spent the majority of my life being surrounded by animals. I grew up with two German Shepherds and a cat whom I loved very much! Most of my friends and family own multiple pets so I never go a day without a four legged companion by my side. I have experience looking after all kinds of pets, no matter how big or small, but to be more precise, I've had the pleasure of spending quality time with German Shepherds, Border Collies, Cocker and Springer Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Pugs, Frenchies, cats and even rescue dogs! I am a crazy nature lover with a drivers licence as well as a car so I will be more than happy to take your furry friends on the best walks and adventures in the surrounding areas. You can trust me to look after your pets as if they were my own, with plenty of cuddles and everything they need to have a wonderful and safe time. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I'm currently self-employed and working part time hours. Please get in touch with me about availability as I know my schedule well in advance and will be able to provide all of the info you may need. Please note that jobs outside of my 5 mile radius will require an additional fee to cover travel expenses. I can look after your pets in my friendly home, which is a big first floor flat (lift available) where they will have plenty of space to rest, play and cuddle on the sofa. I am just a minute walk from the cliff top, beach and a park with lots of green areas for them quick potty breaks, or a few minutes car journey from bigger parks. I am more than happy to look after your pets in your own home, in their surroundings. I will always carefully follow any requests that you may have regarding their care and needs.
“Gilly is fab with Ronnie, he is a bundle of energy and full of personality, but Gilly gets him to listen, which is amazing. Ronnie went for his second visit yesterday and didn’t even look back, he seems very happy 😊”

“I can only repeat what I've already said previously, Angelika and Yanka are great with Pumpkin and its lovely to see how happy Pumpkin is there. Not a bad word to say. As always, thank you taking care of our Pumpkin!”

“Matias, has such a lovely soul! Him and his family were very welcoming and you could tell their love for dogs is unconditional. Our choccy lab had dog day care and was really spoilt, had lots of lovely walks and games. I received updates with lovely photos. Would definately recommend him and book again.”

About: Hello and welcome! I'm Nicky, an easy going, friendly animal lover who, together with my partner Chris, has been housesitting across the UK and abroad for the last seven years. After many years of travelling and completing over 50+ house sits (including 45 five star reviews on another pet sitting platform), we've decided to slow down and base ourselves in Bournemouth for the foreseeable future. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and in fact, pretty much any furry pet! Chris and I started dog walking and pet sitting together back in 2018 while we were living in London. As we both worked full-time, it wasn't possible to have our own pets, so instead we spent our weekends walking local dogs and welcoming them into our home for overnight stays. It was such a rewarding experience and confirmed just how much we loved caring for animals. In 2019, we completely changed our lifestyle. What started as a planned six-month sabbatical turned into seven amazing years of housesitting around the world. Since then, we've cared for pets in Bali, Australia, Portugal, France and all over the UK. Over the years we've looked after everything from young puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats requiring medication and extra care. We've also cared for alpacas, ducks, chickens, goats and plenty of small pets too! We've dealt with escape artists, anxious pets, medications and even the occasional vet emergency, so not much fazes us these days. I work part-time from home as a freelance PA, and Chris is a freelance software developer. We both love being outdoors, so long dog walks are one of our favourite parts of the day! Although I'll usually be the one carrying out walks and drop-in visits, Chris may occasionally join me on walks if owners are happy with that. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk or your cat just wants company, cuddles and a clean litter tray, I'll care for them as if they were my own. You'll receive regular updates, photos and plenty of "pupdates" and kitty pictures, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe and having a great time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members soon! We have flexible work days so we’re always around at home and can fit in with your pets routine of walking at particular times if required. We only care for pets in the owners home and our own home. We care for them as we would our own, ensuring they are safe, secure and happy at all times.
“Poppy was amazing with Bella over the werk. She was adaptable, flexible and cared for Bella as if she was her own. Bella came home tired every day, clearly as a result of the walks she had been taken on. Thank you for looking after Bella so we'll Poppy.”

About: We are Lee and Sonya, an older couple (early 50s and mid 60s) living in the BH9 area of Winton. We are very close to lots of lovely dog walking places and are happy to drive further afield for doggy walks too. We’re used to walking dogs of all ages and most sizes (small, medium and not too large). We also have 2 quite elderly cats but they can be secluded away safely when your doggy is visiting or staying with us. We can take your dog(s) for walks locally - we usually go to Winton Rec, Redhill Park and Meyrick Park or, for longer walks, we go to Canford Sang, Wareham Forest and the New Forest. We sadly said goodbye to Buster, our lovely Belgian Malinois doggy of 13 years, in April 2025. We’re not ready to have a new doggie yet, but there is a big space in our hearts and we’d love to enjoy walking your dog so please let us know if you would like to book time with us. We love walking and especially dog walking. We’re confident and capable with all dog breeds and available for dog sitting and boarding while you’re away. We look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! 😊 I’m retired so have lots of free time, especially now my doggy has gone so I can fit in with most times you need my support. Sonya Safety is paramount! For pet stays at our home, we have a fully fenced-in garden and we would make sure your pet is safe when anyone comes to the door. Lots of fun activities as well as walks - toys, games and cuddles to make sure they feel safe with us.

About: Hello and thank you for visiting my Rover profile👋 ⠀ I have hands-on experience with The Guide Dogs, having boarded dogs during their formal training. That experience taught me to be calm, consistent, and highly attuned to canine behaviour. ⠀ WHY CHOOSE ME 🐾 I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments - from energetic, playful pups to more sensitive or steady older souls. I understand how to read canine body language and provide clear, calm guidance so dogs feel safe and secure. ⠀ STANDARD WALKS - 45 MINUTES 🐾 Please note: my standard walk is actually 45 minutes (Rover only offers 30 or 60-minute booking options), so your dog will get a 45 minute walk with me, not the advertised 30 minutes. Please see my reviews to hear from other pet owners. ⠀ MEET AND GREET 🐾 I always recommend a meet and greet before a first booking. This allows us to discuss your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific requirements, while giving your pet the chance to get to know me. It ensures we’re the right fit and that you can leave with complete peace of mind. SCHEDULE 🐾 I have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day: mornings, afternoons, and evenings - for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I’m also available at weekends and can accommodate both regular bookings and last-minute requests whenever possible. SAFETY & TRUST 🐾 When caring for your pet in your home, I follow your instructions closely so everything feels familiar and secure. My background and training with The Guide Dogs has taught me to stay calm, observant, and consistent. You will receive lots of updates and photos via Rover.

About: i’ve had two dogs of my own in which i have trained and look after, as well as looking after several puppies when being born which my family friend let me look after, after their female dog gave birth. i have also helped my neighbours when they have needed for me to stay at their house with their cats and dogs and walk their dogs as well as my family members i am currently unemployed as i am in between college and university which allows me to have a lot of time to look after your dogs. i have a black labrador called monty of my own in which i walk two to three times a day at the moment. i am abke to take on late notice requests which can be helpful for many who have busy schedules and have changes of plans. i love all animals, especially dogs which is why i want to spend time and get to know your pets. i am more so looking to look after dogs at the owners home, as i believe it is a safe space for the dog with the familiar smells as well as it being better for my own personal self, in which i will play with your dog such as throw tennis balls or play tug of war. i will also spend quality time with them in which i can sit and build their trust which i believe is key as dogs should be treated with love and respect.

“Klaudia saved our day! She was available on short notice for 2 x 30 minute walks with our little Cockapoo (she even kindly extended the walk time as they were having a good time!). She kept us updated and reassured making the whole experience stress-free whilst being away from our pup 🙌🏼 We would certainly use Klaudia again ☺️”

“Lauren took well care of my little Taco, I love that she replied to messages quickly and was very communicative. I would recommend her and i would definitely get in touch with her again for future fluff sitting.”

“Lisa-Ann was wonderful with our dog! She was lovely and helped us out last minute as we both weren't feeling well. We would highly recommend her. She was very communicative, asked all the right questions upfront, and sent lovely pictures during their time together. Our dog came back very happy and content after her great time with Lisa-Ann! Thank you!”

About: I had a dog when I was growing up in Italy during my teenage years for 13 years. After that, I had two cats (who are basically my whole world), but they are currently in Italy with my parents. So I completely understand what it means to go on vacation and not have anyone to look after your little fur babies. And that’s where I come in. I will do my absolute best to make your pets feel at home, loved, cuddled, and give them all the attention and care they need. I work full-time in healthcare, so being responsible, organised and attentive comes naturally to me. Your pet’s wellbeing and your home will always be treated with respect. I am working 42 hours weekly in a nursing home in Branksome, doing 3 long days (7-19) and one half day every week (7-13 or 13-19). I live in a flat really close to the beach. I have no garden, but I’m happy to take your dog for a walk by the beach, run together, have fun and enjoy the sun.

I live in a ground floor flat with large private gardens so we can have run arounds in between our fun walks out! We are 5 minutes from the beach and Branksome woods. My partner is a teacher and is around during weekends, and school holidays for longer stays and day trips out with your precious pooch. At our dog friendly home, we are on the ground floor and everywhere is safe for your pooch to go. We have a large garden for toilet breaks and great sniffs! We will be with your dog at all times, would keep your dog on a lead and adhere to any of your special requirements that you have for your beloved pet. We have a medium sized crate which can be used for travelling in the car or sleeping if your dog is crate trained at night. I have given great care to my elderly family dog, which included giving him medication, supporting him during walks, doing exercises for his back legs and in general giving him love and attention. If your dog has any particular needs please let me know and I’d be happy to help anyway I can.
About: I’m an experienced sitter with a genuine love for all animals. I got all my pets through to the tender old ages of 16 through devotion, love and responsibility. I love giving them love and I can take care of senior dogs with all kinds of health problems. I am also DBS checked and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds you name it. I even had horses. I currently work part time and my work is flexible so they will have all the attention and love from me. We’ll go on early morning walks and afternoon walks depending on the weather and between they’ll get to play and have fun! I live in a one bedroom in a long stay hotel setting right now. There’s a bit garden in the back and a big one in front with plenty of routes to the beach. I’m also more than happy to stay at your place and look after your babies in their own environment.
About: 😘 I know how difficult it is to find somebody you trust to take care of your dog and cat , so I will always make this as easy as possible for all involved. 🐕🐕🦺🦮 Dogs have been in my family my whole life, I lost my Douge De Bordeaux in 2023. My gran was a breeder , I spent my childhood summers with Whippets and Labs , at one point there was a Rottweiler , German Shepherd and a Lab in my immediate family. 🤝 I will always request a meet beforehand and will provide you with daily updates. 😍 Your 4 legged family member will be very much cared for! Completely trustworthy and I just love spending time with dogs. If they love a long beach walk then I’m the right person! They will follow their routine whilst being part of my family whilst they’re with me. ⬆️ Some of the dogs I look after in my pictures and I have wonderful relationships with all of my dog parents. 🐾 I have tonnes of experience with the larger breeds and nervous dogs. ‼️Your dog must be house trained. I won’t take any barkey dogs, sorry! 📖 Currently studying basic first aid and I’m DBS checked. 🏡 I have a large ground floor flat with private garden and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. 💯 Your dog will be the soul pooch 🥰 🙌 About me: I’m a Global Learning and Development Manager. I work from home predominantly , but am lucky enough to travel with the job. It’s just myself and my partner at home. ❓Any questions? Please feel free to reach out! I will walk your pooch when is best for you and fit into their routine. If that’s early mornings or late nights, this is about them ! Always watching, will walk them on lead unless you tell me otherwise . I will let them play in the garden but will always be around.
About: Hello there, I’m Emily. A fun loving, responsible 29 year old. I have had dogs all my life and regularly look after friends and colleagues dogs (including boarding, walking and whilst they are not working from home). I am an animal lover and similarly to dogs I also love going on walks. I currently am studying for a masters in podiatry whilst pursuing a career in art and writing. Therefore I am very flexible with my availability and would love to have some furry friends to look after. I live in a house in Bournemouth with friends, with a secure large garden and I’m also very close to the beach which is great for lots of walks.

“This is the first time using Karen to walk our 2 dogs. They are not easy, as they don't really like taking walks! But Karen is very trustworthy and competent and she managed them very well. Will definitely use her again!”

“Niels was absolutely fantastic with my young dog. He accepted to look after my Cocoa at a very short notice. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I will certainly be using his services again.”

“I cannot say how Maxy felt but from all the update we've received he had the most wonderful time spent with Guoda and partner. The welcome was so positive I left Maxy with an easy heart. It was also very nice to receive daily updates and photos about Maxy so we could enjoy our time away. We would definitely rebook.”

“Klaudia was amazing. So quick to respond and organise. It was the first time we’ve left our dog with a stranger. She’s an Australian Kelpie that loves long long long walks and games. She had the absolute best time with Klaudia and we were updated with lovely picture and messages throughout. Will 100% be booking guide. The dog can’t wait to go back!”

“I arrived to drop off Bailey with Camila and her partner was there too. I don't even think Bailey was bothered it I was still there out not. Camila kept me up to date that Bailey was getting on well with her dog and that he had a good night. I've already booked another 2 stays as I felt so relaxed that Bailey was being well looked after. Thank you 😊”

About: 2 for the price of 1! We are a couple who love dogs. We have had our own dogs previously and are very excited to look after and care for your dog when you need it. Great 1 level home with easy step out into the garden. Local park only 200 meters away as well as the beach a ten minute drive. Looked after various breeds and sizes in the past including miniature schnauzers, soft coated wheaten terriers, chocolate labradors, springer spaniels and staffys to name a few. We have also looked after dogs in their old age with various medical issues and administered medication as needed. My partner Gillian and I both have work from home days, we are available fully on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, some Fridays and our weekends are free. We do not have any children. Our offices are a 5 minute drive from home so we can get back to the house on office days very quickly for toilet breaks, feeding time etc. On weekends we are active but also like our rest time so are very flexible to accommodate your dog. Gill loves to paint animals too so if you would like a portrait painting of your loved one then just ask! We have a fenced garden with a lot of room for running around, our property is on one level so no stairs to worry about. There is also a park approximately 200 meters away on our road for walks and exercise. No pets currently so our home will be solely for your pet and all attention will be on them. I hope this gives you a good idea of how your dog will be looked after. If you have any questions then please message us and we will be happy to give you any information you need.
“Thank you Matias for looking after Misty. She obviously was well cared for and had lots of walks. Matias kept us informed all the time, and I think Misty would have gone home with him, if we would have let her!!”
