“We booked Linda to do drop ins on our elderly cat Honey while we were away for a week, she was able to do it at short notice and we had no issues at all. You can tell she loves animals and looks after them well. We had photos and an update each time she visited and could see that our cat was content and cared for, and she looked so happy to see her in the photos we were sent.. I genuinely think she will be missed! Honey had her medicine administered at each visit and was given lots of love and attention, we came home to find everything in order and any instructions followed, and with a happy cat, which is the most anyone could ask for ☺️ Linda is such a lovely, caring person and was an absolute joy to be in contact with, you can feel her love for all things small and fuzzy! About: Hi! I'm Poppy, I'm 21 and I am a dog sitter/ groomer based in Southbourne. I've been sitting with Rover since 2023, and I have years of experience that bring confidence in providing top-notch service. From looking after dogs while you're away to sharing my home with a mix of pets of all sizes and personalities, I've got the knack for tailoring care to each furball's quirks. Beyond homes, I've volunteered on farms and sanctuaries, learning the ropes of animal behaviour. Each experience, including my last dog and best friend of ten years, has shaped me into an attentive and energetic carer. With an intuitive relationship with dogs and a confidence in my ability to handle whatever challenges they bring, you can feel at ease knowing your companion is in the right hands. I work as a dog groomer, so i will be able to take your pup to the salon with me during my work days. They have access to water, treats, and a secure separate area if needed, and can be walked in the nearby park during my breaks and before/ after work. I have a walled off yard with a small grassy area for potty breaks at any time, and also live about 30 seconds from a huge park with plenty of open space and wooded areas, and can also walk down to the beach (dog friendly areas) for any dogs that love a paddle in the sea. Pets will be allowed on the furniture/ bed unless you ask for them not to be, and I have dog bowls for food and water and a bunch of toys to keep your dogs entertained. However, please please feel free to bring your own if it makes your pet more comfortable. Please provide your dog's food and a collar/ harness, lead and crate (if they require a crate). I'm always stocked up with dog bags and treats of my own, and have spare collars/ leads in case of a malfunction or issue with any of the equipment you've provided.

About: We have had dogs as family pets my whole life and I have experience with all sorts of breeds from working as a veterinary nurse. I am currently waiting to start a counselling course so have lots of spare time and spend most of my days going for walks along the beach and as well as runs if your dog enjoys them too! I am a trained veterinary nurse but dog sitting but dog sitting and walking is now my main job so your beloved pet will have my full attention whilst in my care. I am available any day for short or long stays and dog walking and drop in visits. I have a flat with its own private enclosed garden. You can be sure that your pet will be in safe and experienced hands, will be walked, played with and well cared for whilst with me.

About: We've been on the Rover app for two years now and have had experience in looking after a range of different dogs, all have been very positive visits. We have 3 young people who love dogs and will give extra attention and care for your dog. We're usually available from Friday evenings and over the weekends to look after your dog. Day time walks and overnight stays are welcome. We will also be available for some school holidays. We have a large front room and upstairs rooms where your dog will be welcome. We have a medium sized enclosed garden where your dog will have extra outside space to play.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dog since I was 10, feeding, bathing and walking her. I’ve also looked after a number of friends and family’s dogs- including staying in their house overnight to care for the dog and taking them on walks I have a part-time job in a cafe but my schedule is quite flexible so would be able to do drop-ins, walks, and house-sits. About: Ever since I was born we have had dogs as pets in the family home. I am therefore very much used to looking after dogs and meeting all their requirements. I love taking dogs for long walks, playing with them and having cuddles! I also have a number of years of experience of house sitting which has involved looking after three gorgeous dogs of varying shapes, sizes and ages! I feel comfortable and competent looking after animals and you can trust me to love and care for your pet! I am a doctor currently working in Poole hospital. I have most weekends off and the occasional weekday free. I love looking after people’s pets but will only commit to this on a day when I am off and able to give the animal the full care and attention they need! I live very close to local parks and the beach so have easy access to lots of green space for them to run around in. There are no other pets or children in the house.

About: Originally from Portugal with over 27 years caring for pets including my own (dogs, cats, fishes & hamsters) and rescuing dogs and cats and finding suitable owners. I’ve started dog walking, pet and house sitting over 10 years ago. I don’t have any pets at the moment as it would be too sad to leave them behind while I’m traveling. My aim is to make them happy but please note I can only accept the following dogs: All breeds as long as they are obedient, non-destructive, and non-aggressive and have a calm and gentle nature. I do not accept incontinent dogs, dogs that chew furniture or other household items. I do not accept dogs that are aggressive with other dogs or people. About: I’ve been around all different types of breeds of dogs since I was born, lots of family pets and looking after family friends animals. I have trained puppies into adults. I love big and small dogs. I’ve recently transitioned into a full time office position, Mon - Thurs and a half day on a Friday. Depending on location, I would be able to pop in/out mid day for a walk and to let them out for the toilet. From July I will be able to work from home a few days during the week, if you’re happy for me to bring my laptop then please let me know if this would work for you. I understand not all dogs and owners like the idea of them being left alone for certain time periods so please keep this in mind when booking. I would love to be able to make bookings work around this and would make up for that period of time away with lots of cuddles. Being a driver means travel is no issue, and I can fit visits around my day to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. 🐾 I can host pets in my own home, but I’d also be happy to care for your pup in the environment they know best — keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I’ll follow your instructions, give them plenty of love, and take them on safe, fun walks (I know all the best local spots!). About: So I have grown up with dogs in my family and as I've moved out longed to have dogs around me. Recently since moving to Bournemouth I have had three friends buy new puppies and I have looked after all three separately. Mainly a working cocker spaniel called bronson since he was a puppy. Looking after him over night, for evenings and even for weekends. Also looking after a mini daschaund with a lot of attitude lol. I work mon-fri until about 3pm so am free most afternoons/evenings to look after lonely doggos. Also love walking so a dog is always welcome on weekends if it suits my plans.
