“First time using Rover and first time for Winnie staying with Sophie for the day. Communication before, during and after was excellent. Meet up beforehand was appreciated and more importantly Sophie was so lovely she put Winnie at ease and Winnie had a lovely day. Thankyou Sophie”

About: I’ve always been around pets and currently I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I know that dogs love attention, play with other dogs and they always need to be looked after. I love to walk them and to play with them. I always care about my dog’s needs so we go for walks at least 3 times per day. I always try to find places where they can run freely. I don’t have a garden but I go everyday either to the beach or the forest. During the weekend I visit other forests that are further away. The central gardens are 2 minutes walking from my home and the beach 10 minutes walking.
“I cannot rate Sonya highly enough! What an absolutely fantastic sitter. She was prompt, considerate, attentive and conscientious. Wesley is normally very reluctant to go off with people he doesn't know but Sonya ensured that he was well cared for and her patience with him was so special. She paid particular attention to him not over heating, his eating and drinking and his cuddles. I feel so chuffed that we found this true, amazing and capable dogsitter. Thank-you Sonya for your care. And in case it hasn't come across in the above I 100% would trust Sonya with Wesley any time again in the future and recommend her wholeheartedly.”

“Guoda was great! Agreed to help out with my puppy with only a couple of hours notice. You could tell Guoda loves animals instantly with the way she was meeting Skye which gave me a lot of reassurance. I was updated throughout the day with messages and pictures. Will definitely be back to use Guoda again🥰”

About: As a Rover client myself since 2021, I know exactly what it takes to provide peace of mind when you trust someone with your four-legged family member. Having used drop-ins, daycare, walks, and boarding from the owner's side, I know how reassuring a quick photo update is, how vital it is to stick to a precise feeding schedule, and how important transparency is. I treat your dog’s routine as absolute law and deliver the exact high standard of care that I expect for my own dog, Odin. Raising my own 5-year-old Black Labrador through the high-energy puppy stages means I am well-versed in positive reinforcement, maintaining house-training schedules, managing teething, and ensuring safe, controlled socialization. Equally, I understand that older dogs have vastly different needs. Whether it's managing a slower pace on our walks, administering oral medications, recognizing signs of joint discomfort, or simply ensuring they have a quiet, comfortable space to rest, senior dogs receive gentle, attentive care here. I am entirely comfortable handling larger, high-energy breeds, managing leash pulling, and ensuring that play sessions remain safe, balanced, and fun. Your dog will seamlessly blend into a structured, active, and reliable daily schedule: 8:30 AM: A long 45–60 minute morning walk at Bournemouth Gardens (plenty of ball-throwing and running around for high-energy pups!). 1:00 PM & 5:00 PM: Dedicated comfort breaks. 8:30 PM: A secondary 45–60 minute evening walk to wind down for the night. 11:30 PM / Midnight: A final late-night comfort break before settling in for bed. Because I share my home with Odin, we strictly accept dogs who are friendly and comfortable with other dogs. Our home is rarely empty. I work a brief shift Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. However, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, someone is always at home, ensuring your dog is never left alone during those times. On Mondays and Thursdays, dogs should be comfortable being left for a maximum of 3 hours in the evening alongside Odin. We live in a flat ideally located directly across the road from Bournemouth Gardens, meaning fantastic, green, and expansive walks are right on our doorstep!

I am free at weekends, some evenings and during school holidays to care for your pets. I am happy to care for them in your home too. I enjoy an active, outdoors lifestyle. About: Hi, I'm Klaudia! I've spent the majority of my life being surrounded by animals. I grew up with two German Shepherds and a cat whom I loved very much! Most of my friends and family own multiple pets so I never go a day without a four legged companion by my side. I have experience looking after all kinds of pets, no matter how big or small, but to be more precise, I've had the pleasure of spending quality time with German Shepherds, Border Collies, Cocker and Springer Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Pugs, Frenchies, cats and even rescue dogs! I am a crazy nature lover with a drivers licence as well as a car so I will be more than happy to take your furry friends on the best walks and adventures in the surrounding areas. You can trust me to look after your pets as if they were my own, with plenty of cuddles and everything they need to have a wonderful and safe time. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I'm currently self-employed and working part time hours. Please get in touch with me about availability as I know my schedule well in advance and will be able to provide all of the info you may need. Please note that jobs outside of my 5 mile radius will require an additional fee to cover travel expenses. I can look after your pets in my friendly home, which is a big first floor flat (lift available) where they will have plenty of space to rest, play and cuddle on the sofa. I am just a minute walk from the cliff top, beach and a park with lots of green areas for them quick potty breaks, or a few minutes car journey from bigger parks. I am more than happy to look after your pets in your own home, in their surroundings. I will always carefully follow any requests that you may have regarding their care and needs.
About: I've always had animals in my life and really enjoy their company. I've had experience with a mixture of breeds, ages and all sizes. I took my previous dog to puppy training classes so am familiar with the basics and of course adaptable to your preferences. Currently on maternity leave for all of 2026 so I have an abundance of time on my hands. Would love to help out with dog walks and house boarding and drop in visits. Any questions please ask :) I live in a first floor flat close to the beach in the Branksome Park/Westbourne area. It's a very safe and secure area. I have a 3 year old Male Maine Coon Cat who stays indoors and is able to be separated to his own area if necessary.
About: I’ve grown up with family dogs since I was 12 and have taken each of my own pups through puppy classes — never afraid to get stuck into the training, chores, and yes, plenty of poop-scooping along the way! My mum is a dog walker, and I’ve joined her on countless walks, so I’m confident caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I know all the best local spots for safe and fun walks, and while I can’t have a dog of my own right now, I have a lot of love to give and would be thrilled to share that with your pup. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how important trust and peace of mind are when choosing someone to care for your furry family member — and that’s exactly what I provide. 🐾 I work for the NHS as an Occupational Therapist with a flexible schedule. Three days a week I work from home, which makes me easily available for walks, visits, and toilet breaks. On my office days I’m still out and about in the car locally, so I can pop in as needed. My partner Sean is a postman for Royal Mail so finishes by 3 and can be there if I can’t be. Being a driver means travel is no issue, and I can fit visits around my day to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. 🐾 I can host pets in my own home, but I’d also be happy to care for your pup in the environment they know best — keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I’ll follow your instructions, give them plenty of love, and take them on safe, fun walks (I know all the best local spots!). I’m also happy to take dogs in the car for adventures a little further afield. My goal: a happy pup and peace of mind for you. 🐾
About: I have taken care of young energetic puppies through to older dogs, as well as cats! Not only am I trusted with other peoples pets, I love doing it too! I am Available during the week and weekend. I play tennis tournaments and dates do vary with availability but will make sure to give you notice!! Dogs and cats can be escape artists. I'll make sure to Supervise, with a safe environment even in a fenced yard or on a balcony.
“Poppy was amazing with Bella over the werk. She was adaptable, flexible and cared for Bella as if she was her own. Bella came home tired every day, clearly as a result of the walks she had been taken on. Thank you for looking after Bella so we'll Poppy.”

About: People say dogs are a man's best friend. Who says they can't be a woman's best friend:). I am a massive dog lover and love going on walks surrounded by dogs, especially living so close to the beach. My dream job is to one day create my own dog business, providing my own services involving dog sitting, dog walking, and doggy daycare. I have been gathering experience over 3.5 years, so I am reliable, have looked after different breeds, sizes, done a mixture of dog sitting and boarding and I'm very proud of the reviews I have been given on here. I am very relaxed and flexible, happy to help when I am needed. I am available every day, during the day, but have also done overnight boarding too. I'm very conscious and aware of dog safety, ensuring I always lock the doors, listen to instructions regarding lead use and am aware of any needs your dog may have, such as fears or presence of other dogs. When dog sitting I always make sure that I follow the owners instructions and preferences, as well as making sure they are fed on time, correct amounts and are well hydrated throughout the day. I also make sure to give them plenty of love and attention, including playing with toys and being in their presence. If they're not allowed on sofas, you know I'll be sat on the floor with them! For dog walking, I enjoy various different walks, from short, but more frequent walks to longer more energetic walks for pups or active breeds. I take them into forests, parks or even the beach too! Please ask if you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you. I’m currently working part time as a babysitter, so I’ll have plenty of time to play and look after your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 2pm. I have a fenced yard and two friends dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate for your dog if needed not a problem.

Our little dog Gwen has such a lovely time staying with Tanya and Niels. Gwen runs from the car to their door and we have total confidence in leaving her for the day or overnight. Coco is a fabulous playmate for her and the photos show Gwen having lots of fun.

Second time that Gateaux has been for doggy daycare with Sonya, but the first time for Biggy. They’d both obviously had a great day when I collected them and Gateaux was even reluctant to leave. Biggy can be very nervous to begin with but from the photos he obviously settled. Would definitely recommend and would rebook :)

Winnie had a fun day with Rachael. What with the doggie paddling pool, exciting toys to play with and another furry friend there, she was well entertained! Rachael is very attentive and caring, making sure our busy pooch didn't overdo it and had breaks/rest on what was a very hot day. She sent us photo's to let us know how Winnie was getting on which was really reassuring. We would highly recommend Rachael.

I firmly believe that my dog thoroughly enjoyed her first day with Camila! She's still a puppy and full of energy, but Camila didn't mind at all, and puppy came home completely worn out and fresh from the garden hose on one of the hottest days of the year. Was a lovely touch to get photos and a video of puppy running around in the garden.

Caitlin was brilliant with my 8th month old Labrador Wybie, she was patient and clearly has a love for animals. She went above and beyond with the care for him, and it was lovely seeing all the photos and videos she shared throughout the day. This was all during the heat wave too and Caitlin thought of everything to help keep wybie cool. I knew he was in good hands, he was very happy to be with her and her partner too. I will be using Caitlin again for sure 😊

Amy stepped in and helped us with colt sort of last minute which was really appreciated. She's lovely and was really accommodating when we changed drop off and pick up time slightly. If we didn't live 240 miles away we would definitely have her look after colt again. I'm not even convinced colt wanted to come back with us lol

Carolina was really great with her communication and helpful from the start, making us feel reassured that our dogs would be in safe hands. Carolina was flexible with our drop off and pick up time. The dogs took an instant shine to Carolina and she understood their needs straight away. We felt comfortable leaving them with Carolina for the two days and were happy with the service provided. Thank you so much!

Absolute star! Not only did she take great care of our boy Dillon while we were at work, but she also did desensitising sessions for his nails clipping, which were magic! Dill always rushed up to her door, even giving a little impatient woof to get to see her. Couldn't recommend more highly and if we're back in Bournemouth we're booking straight away again!

Julia looked after my dog, Max, for the first time and made the whole experience so easy. She was incredibly accommodating, and both Max and I felt comfortable from the very start. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and quick responses. Max was relaxed when I picked him up, which says it all. I’d happily book with Julia again and highly recommend her to others.
First time using Rover and first time for Winnie staying with Sophie for the day. Communication before, during and after was excellent. Meet up beforehand was appreciated and more importantly Sophie was so lovely she put Winnie at ease and Winnie had a lovely day. Thankyou Sophie

Jordan is absolutely fantastic! Great communication prior to booking and throughout his time looking after Ruby. He’s very kind and caring and you can tell he has a real love for dogs. I would definitely recommend him, and will look forward to booking with him again (as will Ruby!)

Sara and Lee are lovely and you can tell they are a dog lovers! Our little Aiko was staying with Sara and Lee last Sunday for a very first time and it all went great! We have arranged a meet&greet a few days before Aiko's stay and had a very nice walk together when Sara and Lee could get to know Aiko and learn about a few of her quirks. Aiko was super excited to meet with Sara and Lee again on Sunday for her stay. She has been treated to a lovely long walk on the beach (one of Aiko's favourite places) and spotting squirrels in the garden. Even though Aiko's stay was just for a few hours, we have received an update with pictures on how the day is going. Aiko's first stay with Sara and Lee went very well and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for looking after our madame - we have collected a very happy puppy=)

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
