About: My family have had dogs since I was born, parents, grandparents, siblings all had them and now I have my own, Rosie the lurcher, so any dog staying will need to be ok with a house mate. I’ve been walking dogs of all sizes for as long as I can remember. From fiesty Jack Russell’s to a bull terrier cross with a greyhound, also known as a baby rhino with his size and strength. Being a family of dog lovers we’ve had them at all stages of a dogs life so understand the needs. I’ve also got a level 2 open college qualification in animal care just that little bit extra to help I work full time but have certain days off a week. It will always be Tuesday I have off, other days vary depending on the week. So will have to change availability depending on work schedule. I have a closed off back garden and plenty of sofa space! The dog/dogs would have to get on with Rosie, but she’s been fine with every dog she’s met in her own home. Fresh water, food if needed and plenty of blankets! There is a big field near by also if needing a walk on or off lead.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12. I live near a forest and available daily for dog walks. I have been on rover over a year and have a good rapport with all types of dogs. Have good reviews, I’m very chilled and relaxed and will look after your dog with the upmost respect and follow instructions. I work from home and have lots of free time to sit and walk. I have years of experience looking after dogs both small and large. I give good control and am very relaxed. I have a safe and secure flat l There lots of lovely walks nearby and will focus all my time on your pet. Only available for dog sitting and walks atm. About: I was brought up in a home that helped look after rescues dogs, we have always had our own dogs, labs specifically but we have also taken in stray cats and got them healthy again. I absolutely adore animals (probably more so than humans!) I am currently on a hiatus from my usual work and want to try this opportunity not only to provide excellent service but to also bond with pets and it's a great way for a mental health break. I am not doing this for the money but I truly believe in the mental benefit of working with animals. I am hardworking, laid back but fair person, I recently was diagnosed with autism and looking after your furry pets it's a keen interest of mine, I believe that all animals can be bonded with and I strive to achieve that bond with all animals I am lucky enough to meet. No task is a bother to me and I am one for a strict and regimented routine however I can easily adapt to whatever your pets needs are. I am planning to work part-time but I can work longer hours if needed, I just need a bit of pre warning. I am currently not working apart from volunteering at a few farm sites on Wednesdays. I am a trustworthy person, I am currently living in temporary accommodation which unfortunately means I cannot house animals, however I have no problem with caring while in a pet owners home. About: My wife, Pisamai and myself have always had a dog until our beloved Dalmatian, Lexi died last year. We miss her so much, but travel a lot, so thought looking after other people's dogs might fill the void! My wife, Pisamai and myself are retired, so unless we are traveling, we spend most of our time either walking, cycling, or at home in Weymouth. We live in Weymouth and have fully fenced garden. We live 10 minutes walk from a beach and numerous other walks, including the Dorset Coast path.

For new skills, I reward every success; once mastered, I switch to random "jackpot" rewards to keep your dog focused and motivated without needing a bribe every time. • The Three D’s of Mastery: I help dogs bulletproof their commands by gradually increasing Distance from the dog, the Duration of the task, and the level of Distraction in the environment. • The "Be a Tree" Policy: I never allow a dog to pull. If the lead goes taut, I stop completely until it slackens, teaching them that a loose lead is the only way to move forward. • Tiered Reward Systems: I use "Standard" kibble for easy tasks and "High-Value" treats (like chicken or cheese) for emergency recall or high-distraction situations. • Short, High-Intensity Bursts: Dogs learn best in 5–10 minute sessions. Based at home in our Georgian Farmworker’s cottage, between Sherborne & Dorchester in Dorset, your dogs are treated like one of our own in our clean & tidy home, no kennels or separate rooms, tailored schedules to your dogs’ feeding & exercising routines & varying walks in the gorgeous local countryside. Available to help 7 days a week we have a large secure garden to play in, I’m Licensed for 4 guests at a time, fully insured, DBS checked & canine 1st aid trained. We love to play with our guests (I have 2 teenaged sons who join in) & they get plenty of cuddles. We also go to the coast for walks, depending on your dog’s abilities and needs. Dogs can sleep alone, crated or with the pack anywhere in our home. We want them to feel comfortable. All we ask is that you bring their lead, food & any medication, we’ll do the rest (beds & bowls optional at your discretion). If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am 19 and have a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. I am always motivated for a challenge. I have taken care of my dogs since a young age. Taking them on walks, playing games of ball, feeding them well and of course never forgetting lots of cuddles. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. However, I would like to start dog sitting to get more experience with animals, to have a good opportunity to go into the army as a dog handler. I will make time for your pets, just like mine. If they are shy / nervous / excited / outgoing , they will all be treated with the same patience and love. I am currently at uni two days a week and working 35 hours a week 3/4 days, however I’m still left with around 2/3 days and 2 evenings free to spend with puppers. I have a fenced off, big garden and two dogs that love to play and would get on well with your dog. I can easily make room for crates if needed and live next to a beautiful field and cliffs which are great for walks!
