About: I've taken care of all types of dogs from the age of 18, looking after my parents small dogs (Cavaliers) and large dogs (standard poodles) for months at a time when they would go on holiday. I have carried numerous dog / house sits for friends and family, ranging from small to big dogs, puppies and cats. In 2025 and early 2026, I travelled for 10 months around Europe, New Zealand and Australia and was hired for 5 x dog sits in Australia over the last 2 months of my stay. Two 10 day sits, and three 3-6 day sits. I have experience with handling and administering medication, with a recent sit, all three pets requiring AM and PM medication. I work remotely from my laptop full time, so can give around the clock attention to your beloved pets & take great care of your house. I am incredibly organized, neat and tidy. About: My family had a boxer dog called Charlie before I was born until I was 6. My grandparents also had a dog until two years ago, who I walked and played with. My neighbour also would being their cocker-spaniel Poppy to our house a few weekends a year, for us to look after, including taking on regular walks, out to the toilet, etc. I would like to petsit a few weekends a year, probably once a month, and am happy to travel to a variety of places for this. I will ensure the safety of your pet at all times, ensuring I follow the instructions you provide to fulfil the individual needs of your pet. I have high attention to detail, and have worked in environments where responsibility and caring for others is of extreme importance (I worked in a nursery for 3 months over the summer 2021).

My approach is Force-Free and focuses on Positive Reinforcement to build a bond of trust and mutual respect. Here are the 8 core pillars I use to ensure every walk or visit is a high-quality learning experience: • The "Continuous to Variable" Method: I use treats to "bank" good behavior. For new skills, I reward every success; once mastered, I switch to random "jackpot" rewards to keep your dog focused and motivated without needing a bribe every time. • The Three D’s of Mastery: I help dogs bulletproof their commands by gradually increasing Distance from the dog, the Duration of the task, and the level of Distraction in the environment. • The "Be a Tree" Policy: I never allow a dog to pull. If the lead goes taut, I stop completely until it slackens, teaching them that a loose lead is the only way to move forward. • Tiered Reward Systems: I use "Standard" kibble for easy tasks and "High-Value" treats (like chicken or cheese) for emergency recall or high-distraction situations. • Short, High-Intensity Bursts: Dogs learn best in 5–10 minute sessions. I keep training short and always finish on a "win" to keep their confidence and engagement high. • Positive Reinforcement Only: I focus entirely on rewarding desired behaviors. I never use aversive equipment like choke chains or prong collars. • The "Watch Me" Check-In: I train dogs to respond to a "Watch" cue, allowing me to regain their attention immediately if a squirrel or another dog appears nearby. • Capturing Calmness: Beyond active commands, I reward "Settle" behaviors. If a dog chooses to relax while we wait at a crossing, they receive a calm reward to reinforce a relaxed default state. I balance a professional part-time role in Dorchester with a disciplined morning routine of market analysis, which I typically conclude by 11:00 AM. This structure allows me to dedicate the vast majority of my day to taking dogs on high-energy adventures through the Dorset countryside. While my professional shifts can vary, I am consistently available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. I pride myself on reliability and clear communication, ensuring your dog's routine is never disrupted. My long-term goal is to transition into full-time animal care, so I treat every walk as a commitment to building a lasting bond with your pet. I ensure that every pet has their own dedicated personal space, including their own bed, food, and water to maintain an stress-free environment. Your dog will have easy access to a secure, fully fenced garden for play and relaxation. During our outings, I strictly limit my groups to a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time. I believe that maintaining total control is the key to a safe and enjoyable walk in the Dorset countryside. For dogs that are less social or require more focused attention, I also offer specialized solo walks. To provide a truly comprehensive service, I can also incorporate basic training during our walks and offer grooming services, such as baths and brushing, to keep your pet looking and feeling their best. I will eventually get the license to have dogs at my property if you would prefer that as well.

About: I have taken care of dogs for way over 8 years for friends, family and local people to me. From walking to bathing, to feeding and cuddles. I love it all, and love spending overnight time with my furry friends I am currently working part time so have a lot of time for my fury friends, with availability to do overnight stays any days of the week. About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar- both adopted from unkind homes (Oscar was terrified to begin with and would pee everywhere for months and Ruby was hissing constantly & very scared. Now Oscar’s toileting troubles are under control and he’s growing in confidence day by day and Ruby is the most outgoing friendly cat I’ve ever met introduces herself to all!), and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa. Rosa is dog mad gets so happy any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her (she was previously used for breeding in Bulgaria kept on a chain and then dumped on a rubbish pile once they found out she had a mammary tumour poor thing). The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs (I’ve had up to 30 in total but don’t anymore, used to rescue them) , rats (have only had female rats personally), hamsters (Syrians and Russian dwarfs) and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions! I’m capable of bathing any pet that requires it, I can also carry out nail trims for guinea pigs as this is something I had to do a lot when I was rescuing them. I usually work in an early years setting with young children but during the holidays off all I’m doing is planning for my wedding (exciting I know!!) so have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it! I’m happy to take on multiple and can come to your home if needed but due to my own pets I’d rather it be my own home however this is something I’m more than happy to discuss! I love walking and playing with dogs and cats too! Big or small doesn’t bother me! I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden to keep your pet safe. I have a two calm yet playful dogs and two cats to keep your pet company. I’m happy to adapt to your pet whatever their needs are. I live near the honiton bottom estuary so they’re are plenty of nice walks and am familiar with many areas in Devon and Cornwall! I’m pretty flexible at the moment but rest assured whatever is decided all I want just like you is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable and you feel at ease about it. About: Throughout my life, I’ve lived with all kinds of pets, from guinea pigs & budgies to cats & dogs; each one teaching me patience & responsibility. After finishing high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter, where I got plenty of experience walking dogs… and occasionally being walked myself.🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, so in 2017 I went to college to study Animal Care and Management. There, I not only earned my qualification but also learned how to survive life surrounded by enthusiastic paws, feathers, and the occasional hairball.🦎🐰🐦🦔🐑 In 2018, I found myself working at a Doggy Day Care, caring for 10+ dogs and puppies every day. My duties ranged from training and enrichment activities to cuddles, games, and general chaos management; basically making sure every dog was happy, healthy, and not tearing the place apart.🫣 Daily health checks were part of the routine, and I completed a Canine First Aid course to handle any emergencies. Although though I’m planning to update my certificate soon, just to stay ahead of the dogs’ sneaky antics. Working with dogs has truly been a dream: full of wagging tails, slobbery kisses, zoomies, and enough laughter (and minor chaos) to keep life exciting. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to get paid for this level of happiness and madness every day? I’m a mum of three tiny humans (all under five… send coffee😅). I’m currently a stay-at-home mum, which basically means I’m always home, except for those wild adventures known as school runs and the occasional appointment. I’m available all days of the week and can offer care and companionship most of the time for dogs that are staying for boarding or daycare. As for dog walking and drop-in visits, please shoot me a message for availability as this can vary throughout the week. In our home, safety is a top priority, especially since we have small children who can get just as excited as dogs do! To keep things calm and everyone happy, we have stair gates ready to create a bit of “me time” for either your pet or our little humans whenever needed. There’s also a cozy, open space under the stairs that your pet can claim as their personal headquarters available 24/7 for naps, snacks, or important squirrel dreaming business. Your furry friend will also have free rein of the house and our fenced secure garden, so they can enjoy the great outdoors without you worrying about any unexpected adventures beyond the gate. I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!
