About: I have grown up around animals, having dogs for most of that time. I moved over from South Africa in 2020, bringing my wife, Savannah (who will occasionally join on the walks) and more importantly, two rescues with us. Our family has grown to include two Romanian rescues. One foster that ended up being an adoptee and the other is a fostered while he learns to be around people and adjusts to a new way of life before he moves onto his forever home (unless he just ends up staying forever). I understand the complexities of walking with dogs that don't come from traditional local backgrounds and require a different style of walk to make them feel safe and comfortable while out and about. I am always happy to adjust the walk to match the dog from a nice chilled walk around the block for the golden oldies to a brisk, enrichment-filled walk for the younger, more energetic hounds. Currently, I am taking an online dog first aid course and working my way through a Reactive Dog Training course, designed primarily for Romans but suitable for all dogs. With long-term plans on becoming a dog behaviourist to try help more people with anxious dogs. I currently work full-time with a 4-on-4 schedule for the ambulance service, so I will be marking my availability around those shifts. Some of those work days, I may have availability in the afternoons or late evenings in the summer. I have medical experience not only with the two-legged species but also with four-legged ones. Coming from a conservation background in South Africa has helped with this. I am a strong believer in force-free training and focus on rewarding good behaviour, which I find works amazingly with my four rescues who come with an unknown history and get very nervous around people. Out on walks, I try to utilise scent work and other forms of enrichment to make the walk more enjoyable and enriching for the dogs not only working the body but the brain.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all kinds of animals and domestic pets and have had a lifelong love of dogs. I was trusted to look after pets for other people from an early age and regularly look after the dogs of friends, neighbours and work colleagues. I absolutely walking and my morning and evening walks are always the highlight of my day. I am currently working full time in a school five minutes from home, and walk my dog every morning before school and in the afternoon after school. I live in the beautiful Dorset countryside and have some wonderful varied woodland walks on my doorstep. At weekends I usually take dogs to the beach, always the highlight of the week! I am off work for half terms and school holidays and love being able to spend more time looking after pets. I have a fenced garden with room to play and run around and a super friendly cockapoo called Paddington who adores the company of other dogs. I stick to a routine of regular feeding times, two walks every day and regular play time and cuddle time! I will work to the routine of your dog to make them feel safe and welcomed.

About: I believe that animals are the biggest happiness in life 🤍 I have owned animals for most of my life. I have experience with dogs, cats and small household pets. I have experience with puppy’s as well as senior dogs. I have previous experience cat and dog sitting, so i am not a stranger to looking after other people’s pets. I have recently lost my childhood pup Bailey who had been my bestfriend for 18 years, he required daily oral medication which gave me a lot of experience in taking care of senior pups and paying close attention to their extra needs🤍🐾 I also have a puppy, Teddy, who has helped me understand a pups personality! Teddy has such a big character, he is a very energetic and bouncy little man who loves being in the spotlight all the time🤣 I am able to house sit, walk or give drop in visits to your fur babies! I currently work shifts in elderly care, so will regularly update my calendar to let you know when I am free. Look forward to meeting your pets! About: I worked at a cat/dog hotel for 2 years and I miss working there ever since I left! I've worked with all sizes and ages. I'm currently free across the whole week and will happily board or care for your animal if and when I'm needed! Weekends do vary though, but I will clearly communicate if there are any problems! I have a fenced backgarden with many plants for the animals to explore as well as a create if it needs to be used. I know many safe walking areas where I take my own dog!

About: Experienced pet sitter of nearly 10 years. Leaving your pet is always difficult but they will be in good hands and have a mini holiday of their own! I’ve looked after all sorts of adorable pets from rabbits to horses and everything in between in flats, houses and farms and for the stars . I have two dogs of my own, and have an experience looking after nervous and reactive dogs and always ensure I follow owner’s instructions and what’s best for the animal (i.e. if space is needed around people or other dogs). Age of the animal isn’t a problem and I’m happy and experienced looking after young to old! They will always get love and attention and plenty of play time. I will always send photos and updates to the owner too. I currently work 9-5 Monday to Friday from home with only 1 week day in the office, I’m home on the weekends so plenty of time to help out. I have two dogs with my family at home. I will stick to your animals needs as much as possible so there is little disruption to their normal routine. Walking, feeding, sleep and play time. When booking, please make sure all instructions and schedules are provided so I can match it as close as possible.

About: I have taken care of dogs for way over 8 years for friends, family and local people to me. From walking to bathing, to feeding and cuddles. I love it all, and love spending overnight time with my furry friends I am currently working part time so have a lot of time for my fury friends, with availability to do overnight stays any days of the week. I am very cautious of keeping my fury friends in sight at all times and granted their and their owners wishes for their routines, as well as ensure they get plenty of fun exercise and cuddles

About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar- both adopted from unkind homes (Oscar was terrified to begin with and would pee everywhere for months and Ruby was hissing constantly & very scared. Now Oscar’s toileting troubles are under control and he’s growing in confidence day by day and Ruby is the most outgoing friendly cat I’ve ever met introduces herself to all!), and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa. Rosa is dog mad gets so happy any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her (she was previously used for breeding in Bulgaria kept on a chain and then dumped on a rubbish pile once they found out she had a mammary tumour poor thing). The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs (I’ve had up to 30 in total but don’t anymore, used to rescue them) , rats (have only had female rats personally), hamsters (Syrians and Russian dwarfs) and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions! I’m capable of bathing any pet that requires it, I can also carry out nail trims for guinea pigs as this is something I had to do a lot when I was rescuing them. I usually work in an early years setting with young children but as it’s now the summer holidays all I’m doing is planning for my wedding (exciting I know!!) so have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it! I’m happy to take on multiple and can come to your home if needed but due to my own pets I’d rather it be my own home however this is something I’m more than happy to discuss! I love walking and playing with dogs and cats too! Smaller animals are just as fun. I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden to keep your pet safe. I have a very friendly dog and two cats to keep your pet company. I’m happy to adapt to your pet whatever their needs are. I live near the honiton bottom estuary so they’re are plenty of nice walks and am familiar with many areas in Devon and Cornwall! I’m pretty flexible at the moment but rest assured whatever is decided all I want just like you is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable and you feel at ease about it. More than happy to arrange meet and greets to get to know each other or go on dog walks together previously.
