Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Maisie & Cooper stayed with Trudy whilst we went for a night away in London and they were more than taken care of! Amazing long walks in the fields & forest and a lovely garden for them to roam until their hearts are content! Updated with pics regularly too! Thank you! Will be using Trudy often! 😅

Kate looked after Olive and Martin for a week and was amazing from start to finish! We had a meetup before the booking to have a chat and see if it would be a good fit for them to stay and I instantly felt it was the right home for them whilst I was away. Kate kept in regular contact and I had lovely photos showing my doggies looking very happy. They were treated like part of the family with top notch care. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be booking again for sure myself...thankyou so much Kate!

This was our first time using Rover as our usual house sitter was not available and was unsure whether this way would be suitable or not. The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. Just looking at dates when he can stay again and the only downside to all these good reviews is she will get booked up even quicker!

She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and went above and beyond in caring for my puppy Ernie over the holidays. I will most definitely be using Izzy again in the future to dogsit - thanks so much for everything Izzy!

We’ve been so lucky to have found such a wonderful lady to care for our beagle. She has looked after him on a couple of occasions now, most recently for five days, and I honestly couldn’t have felt more reassured. When I collected him, he was completely relaxed and happy — he barely seemed to notice I’d been away, which says everything about how comfortable and well cared for he was. I received regular updates throughout his stay, which gave me great peace of mind, and it was clear he had been treated as part of the family. I felt entirely confident he was safe, content, and thoroughly loved. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again — highly recommend.

What a lovely couple. My dog has had a fantastic time. He's come home exhausted after a very long walk. From the photos I have been sent, I can see he thoroughly enjoyed his walks. He was welcomed into their home and treated as though he was their own. It was clear to me that they are dog sitting because they love dogs. I am so happy that my dog was so well looked after. Thank you Sam and Katherine x

About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, horses and small animals. I often look after my mums staffy and my children are well trained around animals. Friends and colleagues have also trusted me to look after their furry friends! We have a lovely home and a loving heart and are willing and open to lend a hand to those who need it. I work part time from home for Children’s Services so am around for all your dogs needs. Lots of time for us to play and for walks. We live in a lovely area with a good sized garden. We enjoy long walks and the beach so will keep your pup fully entertained and loved. Our evenings are usually quieter so lots of times for cuddles. I have a good sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe. We do have a cat but she often spends time outdoors and does not seem interested in other animals. We are able to offer long walks and I do have a bath which I can offer washes if needs be.

Francisco looked after Max for six nights. Max is a very old dog, and Francisco made everything easy for Max and me. Max was treated to special homemade food, and Francisco kept me updated by sending some pictures while I was away. There was medication to administer, and Francisco was incredibly helpful in ensuring I felt reassured throughout Max's stay. It was a great experience, and Francisco is an excellent dog sitter. I m very grateful. P

I was trusted to look after pets for other people from an early age and regularly look after the dogs of friends, neighbours and work colleagues. I absolutely walking and my morning and evening walks are always the highlight of my day. I am currently working full time in a school five minutes from home, and walk my dog every morning before school and in the afternoon after school. I live in the beautiful Dorset countryside and have some wonderful varied woodland walks on my doorstep. At weekends I usually take dogs to the beach, always the highlight of the week! I am off work for half terms and school holidays and love being able to spend more time looking after pets. About: Whilst I have set my sitter profile to mainly available for dogs, I am also available to house sit & do drop ins for your cat! I have owned cats in the past, and whilst I owned one that likely thought of me as a staff member, I also owned one that was more like a dog and actually enjoyed my attention... I am more than happy to drop in whilst you are away, feed your cat, tidy up and (if they want) play with them too <3

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

About: DBS Checked | Fully Insured | Driving Licence | Own Vehicle | 5 Years Animal Rescue Volunteering | Right to Work in the UK I have been surrounded by animals since early childhood and have always cared for both dogs and cats. Throughout my life, I’ve lived with one, two, and sometimes even three dogs at the same time of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I have completed basic dog training courses and spent 10 years volunteering at a dog and cat shelter, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals, supporting rescues, and helping with adoption processes. I am confident handling both small and large dogs and can comfortably walk multiple dogs at once in a safe and calm manner. I genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s going for long walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive plenty of care, affection, exercise, and attention. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I would be delighted to help care for your furry family members. I am currently not working, which means I can fully dedicate my time and attention to caring for pets. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends, for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love to make pet care my long-term profession. In the near future, I am planning to take professional canine behaviour and dog training courses to further improve my knowledge and skills as a future dog trainer. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship, while following their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and relaxed when leaving their pets in someone else’s care, so I always provide a calm, caring, and reliable environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking routines, medication, training, and any special requirements. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, including energetic dogs, shy pets, and senior animals. During walks, I stay attentive and safety-conscious at all times, and I am comfortable handling multiple dogs when needed. I also make sure pets receive regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel reassured while they are away. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect, as if they were my own.

About: As a soon to be veterinarian graduating this summer, I bring a unique combination of professional animal-care experience and a genuine lifelong love of animals. I have grown up around dogs, horses and cattle and have spent years caring for and working with animals in a variety of settings. My veterinary training has given me a strong understanding of canine health, behaviour and welfare, as well as the confidence to care for dogs with different needs. I am comfortable looking after puppies, senior dogs and dogs requiring medication or additional care, and I am trained to recognise when a dog may be unwell or needs veterinary attention. Most importantly, I am patient, caring and attentive to each individual dog's personality and routine. I understand that every dog is different, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable and happy while they are in my care. Whether that means an energetic walk, plenty of playtime, a quiet companion for an older dog, or simply sticking closely to their normal routine, I am happy to adapt to their needs. I would treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. As a soon to be veterinarian waiting to graduate, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. I am available for regular weekday and often weekend bookings, and I am happy to work around your dog's usual routine. I enjoy being active, so walks, playtime and outdoor adventures are something I genuinely look forward to. I can also provide plenty of company and attention at home, while making sure your dog's normal feeding, exercise and medication routines are maintained. I understand how important it is for owners to know their pet is in safe and reliable hands, so I am happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout their stay. Safety and welfare are always my priority. My veterinary training means I am confident recognising changes in a dog's behaviour or health and responding appropriately if something doesn't seem right. In your home, I will respect your space and keep your pet's usual routine as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, medication and rest. I am happy to follow detailed instructions and make sure your dog feels comfortable and settled. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be daunting, so I aim to build trust with both pets and owners through clear communication, regular updates and plenty of care and attention. Every dog is treated as an individual, with their personality, needs and comfort taken into account.

About: I’ve grown up and looked after dogs my whole life. All shapes and sizes. I am fortunate to have a large fenced garden and surround by nothing but fields. I like nothing better than to be out in the fresh air normally accompanied by my gorgeous Viszla. I am currently not working so am at home and free all day. I walk my dog twice a day for an hour at a time. I have an enclosed garden and a very friendly Viszla who is very sociable and on dry days spends most of it outside. Her choice.

I’m really happy with Tianna's help walking Vixen . She went out of her way to assist, even though it was a bit far for her this time. Tianna suggested day care as a better option for socialisation, which shows how much she cares about what’s best for the dogs. Nala, Tianna's dog, is already used to being around other dogs, so this was perfect. I would definitely use Tianna’s services again—she’s thoughtful, professional, and clearly loves what she does!

About: I have 6 years of experience training my own dog at home. I love dogs, they are my favourite animals in the world and one day I hope to own a dog sanctuary where I can rescue countless dogs across the country and the world. This is the start of my journey towards that. I believe that a happy dog is a well-managed dog. My approach is Force-Free and focuses on Positive Reinforcement to build a bond of trust and mutual respect. Here are the 8 core pillars I use to ensure every walk or visit is a high-quality learning experience: • The "Continuous to Variable" Method: I use treats to "bank" good behavior. For new skills, I reward every success; once mastered, I switch to random "jackpot" rewards to keep your dog focused and motivated without needing a bribe every time. • The Three D’s of Mastery: I help dogs bulletproof their commands by gradually increasing Distance from the dog, the Duration of the task, and the level of Distraction in the environment. • The "Be a Tree" Policy: I never allow a dog to pull. If the lead goes taut, I stop completely until it slackens, teaching them that a loose lead is the only way to move forward. • Tiered Reward Systems: I use "Standard" kibble for easy tasks and "High-Value" treats (like chicken or cheese) for emergency recall or high-distraction situations. • Short, High-Intensity Bursts: Dogs learn best in 5–10 minute sessions. I keep training short and always finish on a "win" to keep their confidence and engagement high. • Positive Reinforcement Only: I focus entirely on rewarding desired behaviors. I never use aversive equipment like choke chains or prong collars. • The "Watch Me" Check-In: I train dogs to respond to a "Watch" cue, allowing me to regain their attention immediately if a squirrel or another dog appears nearby. • Capturing Calmness: Beyond active commands, I reward "Settle" behaviors. If a dog chooses to relax while we wait at a crossing, they receive a calm reward to reinforce a relaxed default state. I balance a professional part-time role in Dorchester with a disciplined morning routine of market analysis, which I typically conclude by 11:00 AM. This structure allows me to dedicate the vast majority of my day to taking dogs on high-energy adventures through the Dorset countryside. While my professional shifts can vary, I am consistently available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. I pride myself on reliability and clear communication, ensuring your dog's routine is never disrupted. My long-term goal is to transition into full-time animal care, so I treat every walk as a commitment to building a lasting bond with your pet. I ensure that every pet has their own dedicated personal space, including their own bed, food, and water to maintain an stress-free environment. Your dog will have easy access to a secure, fully fenced garden for play and relaxation. During our outings, I strictly limit my groups to a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time. I believe that maintaining total control is the key to a safe and enjoyable walk in the Dorset countryside. For dogs that are less social or require more focused attention, I also offer specialized solo walks. To provide a truly comprehensive service, I can also incorporate basic training during our walks and offer grooming services, such as baths and brushing, to keep your pet looking and feeling their best. I will eventually get the license to have dogs at my property if you would prefer that as well.

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

It’s been very difficult for Sofia this week as the weather has been so warm sometimes 30° so it wasn’t possible for her to enjoy long walks with him during the day but he seems to have had a good time and he’s relaxing in his bed now he’s home. Nick was absolutely brilliant with Heidi, our German Shepherd, during her week-long stay. He clearly understood the breed and was patient, calm and really friendly with her. Heidi had only recently been spayed, so we needed someone who would be mindful and gentle with her, and Nick — along with his two lovely dogs — was exactly that. It did Heidi so much good to spend time around dogs who don’t share her anxiety, and she settled really well. Nick was a great communicator throughout, positive, reassuring, friendly and just a genuinely lovely person. Heidi thought he was brilliant, and it was fantastic for me knowing she was so well cared for. I would happily send her back tomorrow and will definitely use Nick for any future stays.
