Dog Walking in Purbeck

“Anna was wonderful - she helped me out last minute when I couldn’t walk my dog due to an ankle injury and she is clearly so knowledgable about dogs and asked lots of questions when she arrived to ensure my dog had a great time on her walk. Anna even brought a homemade treat for my dog despite the very short notice which was a really lovely touch. Highly recommended and I would certainly reach out to Anna again for dog walking!”

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs, including taking them for walks and bathing them when needed. I enjoy looking after animals and keeping them company. I am currently studying at Bournemouth University, however my timetable leaves time during the week for any drop in visits or walks as well as the weekends. I have a full driving licence and car so getting anywhere is no problem 😊 I would stick to any routine they may have to avoid any stress on them. I am more than happy to cuddle with them or give them space, whatever makes them happy!

“Teagan is extremely reliable and caring. She stayed with our dog in our house for three weeks over last summer. We got daily updates and pictures. They played together constantly, and went for long walks twice a day. Our dog now adores her, and of course we do too!”

“Klaudia has been amazing! We were a little worried initially about dog walking as Freddie can be challenging around other dogs on walks and this was for 2 weeks whilr we were in Thailand. Klaudia came and met Freddie on her own time to make sure everything was a good fit and put our mind at rest before we committed which was really appreciated. The updates we got from Klaudia were superb and she is an experienced dog walker who was ate confident can handle Freddie if he got himself into a difficult situation. About: Loving and taking care of animals is something I’ve done my whole life. I do have a soft spot for seniors but absolutely love any time I get to spend with animals of any age. I am lucky enough to work from home full time so I can be with pets 24/7. I would love to have a companion for those long days at work. I have easy outside access and close to a few dog friendly parks. I’m happy to accommodate to any additional requirements you may have to make sure your pet is as safe and comfortable as possible.

“Michael has looked after my girlfriends dog for over 4 weeks and has shown great care and attention towards him and made sure he was walked at least 2-4 times a day whilst ensuring that he was fed his specific diet and stuck to correct portion sizes as well as making sure his water bowel was never empty. I can’t praise him enough for his quality of care.”

About: I have cats since I am 4 years old, we had always cats in our garden and house. I have a paralysed cat since 8 years which he needs really a carer to change his pads and opening his bowels. Since im in the uk, my dad looks after him. I was studying for Veterinary Nurse and i had 4 months of intern experience in a pet hospital. I haven’t finish my study but I had a lot of experience. I have a connection between cats and I cannot imagine my life without them. They have a special character and I love to see them around me. Im working full time, I have 2 days off a week and available half of the weekdays. Im happy to get them after or before my shift. I have years of experience as owner and student of vet nurse. I can understand the way of their body language and their needs easily.

“We are so lucky to have found Abbey. Our one year old Labrador, Hux can be a handful but Abbey is great with him. Abbey gave us regular photo updates during his weekend stay so we were kept up to date, and we could tell from the photos that he absolutely loved his holiday at Abbeys. About: I’ve had dogs all my life from puppies a grumpy old boy. I’m the proud mum to two kids, two cats and two dogs. And one grumpy husband lol I am a full time working mum as a SEN teaching assistant but I’m available school hoilday and weekends and also for just drop ins every day as long as I can come early mornings and after work :) I would only be able to pet sit at your home as my house is a little crazy at times but can pop over when needed and sleep and keen them company as much as they need.

Whilst looking after our pet she has kept us informed about his health and has also been outstanding when it has come to giving him his morning medication (medication administered as a tablet in his food). Josie’s ability to follow detailed instructions, and her ability think independently about what would be best/most beneficial for our pet and us is consistently beyond what we have asked and we are always great full for her support.”

They return happy & content with the longing eyes of when will she return again. I’ve asked her on many occasion to housesit them, which she has done with the upmost of care & respect for my home plus the constant photos of their movements!
