About: Hi, I’m Pete. I have considerable experience in providing pet care over many years, covering a breadth of different pets including fish, rodents, rabbits, cats and many breeds of dogs. Whether it is simply providing food, water and exercise or whether your pet has more complex needs, such as administering medication, I am able to meet their needs. I am trained in pet first aid and have a diploma in pet care and dog walking, giving you the confidence your pet will be looked after with the utmost care. I currently run my own pet care business, so I manage services and bookings through the business as well. I am able to be flexible in order to suit the needs of my customers, depending on their requirements. I have a considerable length of service in both the military and police, therefore you can be confident I will be reliable and trustworthy and ensure not only your pet will be given the best care, but your home security will be a priority.

My hands-on experience ranges from raising a litter of 12 Dalmatians and caring for my own Pug, to working alongside my father's German Shepherd search dogs and walking everything from energetic spaniels to scent hounds. Now retired, I have complete daytime flexibility to accommodate your schedule, whether you need regular outings or occasional visits. For your peace of mind, I am fully covered by third-party insurance, ensuring your dog is in safe, experienced, and dedicated hands. I work part-time in vehicle transport, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit around your dog’s routine. Whether you have an energetic dog needing a brisk workout, an older pup who prefers a gentle stroll, or a companion who loves a running buddy—I'm a runner and happy to pick up the pace—I can tailor each walk to suit their needs. While I don't offer boarding in my own home, my services include regular walks as well as pop-in visits to check on your dog, feed them, or let them out into the garden.

About: My wife, Pisamai and myself have always had a dog until our beloved Dalmatian, Lexi died last year. We miss her so much, but travel a lot, so thought looking after other people's dogs might fill the void! My wife, Pisamai and myself are retired, so unless we are traveling, we spend most of our time either walking, cycling, or at home in Weymouth. We live in Weymouth and have fully fenced garden. We live 10 minutes walk from a beach and numerous other walks, including the Dorset Coast path.

About: I’ve looked after dogs at my own home as well as house sat whilst looking after dogs and cats. I’ve looked after Chesapeake bay retrievers, Golden Doodles, Spaniels, Retrievers, Labradors, Staffies, rescues and Cockerpoos. I’ve trained my family spaniel and have looked after puppies as well as older dogs. I have also looked after friends dogs in America whilst house sitting for a few days. I’m have experience taking 2-3 dogs out for a walk at the same time. I’m doing a PhD part time so have plenty of time to dog sit at your house, where your dog is most comfortable. I go on daily walks myself so having a furry companion would be a great addition to my current routine I like having a chat with the owner to understand their pet and learn about their needs and routine. About: I’ve grown up around animals of all shapes and sizes (mainly dogs). I currently work for a local animal charity as an Animal Rescue Carer. I currently work from Sunday to Wednesday so would ideally be looking to provide dog walks on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday for you. About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am an 21 year old who has a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now I have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog. I have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. If the lead goes taut, I stop completely until it slackens, teaching them that a loose lead is the only way to move forward. • Tiered Reward Systems: I use "Standard" kibble for easy tasks and "High-Value" treats (like chicken or cheese) for emergency recall or high-distraction situations. • Short, High-Intensity Bursts: Dogs learn best in 5–10 minute sessions. While my professional shifts can vary, I am consistently available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. Your dog will have easy access to a secure, fully fenced garden for play and relaxation. During our outings, I strictly limit my groups to a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time. I believe that maintaining total control is the key to a safe and enjoyable walk in the Dorset countryside. For dogs that are less social or require more focused attention, I also offer specialized solo walks. To provide a truly comprehensive service, I can also incorporate basic training during our walks and offer grooming services, such as baths and brushing, to keep your pet looking and feeling their best. I will eventually get the license to have dogs at my property if you would prefer that as well.

I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

About: I have always had dogs in my life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have experience caring for different breeds and sizes, including a Cocker Spaniel, Labrador, Border Collie, French Poodles and mixed-breed dogs. I had my own Cocker Spaniel, Jack, who was a very special part of my life. Since moving to Portland, I really miss having a dog around, so dog walking and pet care feels like the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs again while doing something I already love — walking!
