About: Hi! I have plenty of experience including pet sitting and walking, veterinary and rescue experience. I have cared for a wide range of animals from cats and dogs to reptiles and rodents. I know that every pet is different and pride myself on caring effectively for each individual pet. I especially enjoy working with anxious or nervous pets, building a bond and bringing them out of their shell. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks, Zoe I currently am able to provide pet sitting throughout the week and but at the moment am only able to offer walks during weekends and evenings/mornings of weekdays. I ensure that I am providing safe care at all times however I understand that you can never be too safe so would make sure I have relevant information about your vet and will always have transport in case of emergencies. If going out in the car with your pets they will always be secured safely.

Ezra looked after our 4 dogs for an evening, in our Air BnB, whilst we were on holiday in the area. We have 3 collies, one a ‘sensitive’ rescue, and a lurcher - all of them were very fond of Ezra, which immediately put our mind at rest when it came to leaving them. They were well cared for and Ezra let us know how they’d all got on as well as sharing some wonderful photos on the app! We would definitely ask Ezra to look after our dogs again if we come back on holiday.

About: I believe every dog is unique, and I love getting to know their individual personalities, preferences, and what makes them happiest. I have extensive experience working with small and large dogs, and I’ve also owned a very large dog who sadly passed away last year. My bond with her taught me the importance of understanding and meeting a dog’s emotional and physical needs, and I bring that same thoughtful, personalised care to all the pets I look after. Whether your dog is energetic or more laid-back, I am committed to meeting their specific needs. As an athlete by profession, I’m fully equipped to care for and exercise even the most active dogs. At the same time, I’m patient and take a calm, nurturing approach with less active or older dogs. I will ensure that your dog gets the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, rest, and love. I understand how important it is to cater to dogs with special needs, whether they have anxiety, nervousness, or behavioral quirks. I use a calm, patient approach to help these dogs feel safe, relaxed, and secure while they’re in my care. I also make sure to follow any specific instructions you have to ensure your dog’s well-being. I’m committed to making sure your dog feels at ease, happy, and well cared for while you're away. With my experience, passion for animals, and dedication to providing quality care, I’m confident I can offer your dog the best possible experience. My work as an athlete doesn’t fall under the same schedule as a normal job. When I work I am usually overseas, and come home for 'rest periods’, so when I am home I am free all day everyday! I am available for what your pet care needs are. My ability to fully dedicate my time when I'm home makes me an ideal sitter for those who want someone with a lot of availability and commitment. I am very open to what your dog’s needs are, and will meet them with ease and kindness. My approach is calm, warm, and loving. I have a spacious house with a fenced garden, and a dog field, fenced and safe behind my house. I can wash, train, walk, do off lead training, feed, crate train, puppy train, the list goes on!

About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am 19 and have a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. I am always motivated for a challenge. I have taken care of my dogs since a young age. Taking them on walks, playing games of ball, feeding them well and of course never forgetting lots of cuddles. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. However, I would like to start dog sitting to get more experience with animals, to have a good opportunity to go into the army as a dog handler. I will make time for your pets, just like mine. If they are shy / nervous / excited / outgoing , they will all be treated with the same patience and love. I am currently at uni two days a week and working 35 hours a week 3/4 days, however I’m still left with around 2/3 days and 2 evenings free to spend with puppers. I have a fenced off, big garden and two dogs that love to play and would get on well with your dog. I can easily make room for crates if needed and live next to a beautiful field and cliffs which are great for walks!

About: I have grown up around animals, having dogs for most of that time. I moved over from South Africa in 2020, bringing my wife, Savannah (who will occasionally join on the walks) and more importantly, two rescues with us. Our family has grown to include two Romanian rescues. One foster that ended up being an adoptee and the other is a fostered while he learns to be around people and adjusts to a new way of life before he moves onto his forever home (unless he just ends up staying forever). I understand the complexities of walking with dogs that don't come from traditional local backgrounds and require a different style of walk to make them feel safe and comfortable while out and about. I am always happy to adjust the walk to match the dog from a nice chilled walk around the block for the golden oldies to a brisk, enrichment-filled walk for the younger, more energetic hounds. Currently, I am taking an online dog first aid course and working my way through a Reactive Dog Training course, designed primarily for Romans but suitable for all dogs. With long-term plans on becoming a dog behaviourist to try help more people with anxious dogs. I currently work full-time with a 4-on-4 schedule for the ambulance service, so I will be marking my availability around those shifts. Some of those work days, I may have availability in the afternoons or late evenings in the summer. I have medical experience not only with the two-legged species but also with four-legged ones. Coming from a conservation background in South Africa has helped with this. I am a strong believer in force-free training and focus on rewarding good behaviour, which I find works amazingly with my four rescues who come with an unknown history and get very nervous around people. Out on walks, I try to utilise scent work and other forms of enrichment to make the walk more enjoyable and enriching for the dogs not only working the body but the brain.

About: Hey, I’m Abi-a dog walker/sitter from Dorset. I have years of experience caring for animals- including dog walking, as well as dog/cat sitting, home drop-ins and overnight stays. I am happy to look after any pet, regardless of breed, size or age and will adapt to individual needs to make sure your pet is has the best possible care whilst you’re away. I live in a house with a large fenced garden in Dorchester and have plenty of room to love and care for your beloved pets. However, I am more than happy to come to if you feel more happy with your pet being cared for in the comfort of their own home. Since I was a little I have lived in a household full of love and compassion for animals and I am looking to spend some time each week to share my love for animals, whether it be pet sitting, pet daycare, house visiting, cleaning pens, cages, etc or dog walking, anything animal-related I will be willing, so don’t hesitate to ask. My first dog was a medium-sized Brittany Spaniel who I grew up loving and caring for, teaching me a thing or two about spaniels; their energetic personalities and surprising strength. My second pup was a small rescue dog who was one of 6 in a litter left on the side of a road. He was mixed breed; part border terrier (always needing love, affection and lots and lots of attention). And finally, back at home we have a 8-year-old black lab, who is massively soppy and a 6-year-old Border x Cairn terrier who is extremely loving and incredibly energetic. I have plenty of experience with different breeds which extends beyond my family dogs. I also have plenty of feline experience, we have 3 cats- 1 beautiful Moggy who had 7(unexpected) kittens, one of which we kept, they are now both over 10 years old. As well as this we have another kitty who we rescued from our garden hedge, she was around 4 weeks old when we found her. I weaned and nurtured her watching her grow from weak and fragile to a strong, crazy but loving kitten. My job is very flexible, which means I can easily fit pet care around work. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, stick to their usual routines, and be available when they need me. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and kept to their usual routine. I follow all instructions closely, whether it’s feeding times, walks, medication, or bedtime routines, so that pets feel secure and settled while their owners are away. I keep the home environment tidy, calm, and familiar for them, and ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure at all times for their safety.

About: Originally from Portugal with over 27 years caring for pets including my own (dogs, cats, fishes & hamsters) and rescuing dogs and cats and finding suitable owners. I’ve started dog walking, pet and house sitting over 10 years ago. I don’t have any pets at the moment as it would be too sad to leave them behind while I’m traveling. My aim is to make them happy but please note I can only accept the following dogs: All breeds as long as they are obedient, non-destructive, and non-aggressive and have a calm and gentle nature. I do not accept incontinent dogs, dogs that chew furniture or other household items. I do not accept dogs that are aggressive with other dogs or people. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I’ll be happy to help. I work remotely as an Energy Assessor so I give doggies all the attention and two walks per day. During the weekends we go on hikes. I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary and hold an enhanced DBS check.
