Keith and Michelle were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Maya. They are kind, caring, and clearly love what they do. Maya enjoyed plenty of long walks and came home happy and relaxed. I couldn’t ask for better people to look after her — highly recommended!

Thank you so much Nicola, don’t know what we would have done without you. Taking our booking at short notice and looking after Max so well. Max is an anxious dog with new people but Max was more than happy staying at Nicolas house with her and her family. So glad we have found someone who we can completely trust to look after Max anytime we need someone to. Thank you 😊

Maria and her partner are just top quality people and the service they had provided was top quality. I was going away to London for a celebration, they invited us over the evening before I was due to go away so Benny could explore there home and meet who he’s going to spend a couple of days with straight away it was clear Benny was going to be very happy. I dropped Benny of early the next morning Maria and her partner took Benny straight out on a walk and he loved every minute of his little trip. Maria sent me frequent updates with how Benny was going along with photos and videos. Benny was very settled and very happy with the care he received. Would recommend 100% highly and would use Maria again. Top quality care. Thank you again for everything.

This was our first time using Rover as our usual house sitter was not available and was unsure whether this way would be suitable or not. The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. Just looking at dates when he can stay again and the only downside to all these good reviews is she will get booked up even quicker!

About: I believe every dog is unique, and I love getting to know their individual personalities, preferences, and what makes them happiest. I have extensive experience working with small and large dogs, and I’ve also owned a very large dog who sadly passed away last year. My bond with her taught me the importance of understanding and meeting a dog’s emotional and physical needs, and I bring that same thoughtful, personalised care to all the pets I look after. Whether your dog is energetic or more laid-back, I am committed to meeting their specific needs. As an athlete by profession, I’m fully equipped to care for and exercise even the most active dogs. At the same time, I’m patient and take a calm, nurturing approach with less active or older dogs. I will ensure that your dog gets the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, rest, and love. I understand how important it is to cater to dogs with special needs, whether they have anxiety, nervousness, or behavioral quirks. I use a calm, patient approach to help these dogs feel safe, relaxed, and secure while they’re in my care. I also make sure to follow any specific instructions you have to ensure your dog’s well-being. I’m committed to making sure your dog feels at ease, happy, and well cared for while you're away. With my experience, passion for animals, and dedication to providing quality care, I’m confident I can offer your dog the best possible experience. My work as an athlete doesn’t fall under the same schedule as a normal job. When I work I am usually overseas, and come home for 'rest periods’, so when I am home I am free all day everyday! I am available for what your pet care needs are. My ability to fully dedicate my time when I'm home makes me an ideal sitter for those who want someone with a lot of availability and commitment. I am very open to what your dog’s needs are, and will meet them with ease and kindness. My approach is calm, warm, and loving. I have a spacious house with a fenced garden, and a dog field, fenced and safe behind my house. I can wash, train, walk, do off lead training, feed, crate train, puppy train, the list goes on!

About: I am missing my partner in crime. We just recently lost our boy, Kavik, only 8 days before his 15th birthday. He was a Northern Inuit, Czechoslovakian Wolfdog cross, he was entire and fed a raw diet. Over the years he has caused me to cry and laugh a lot, with some very challenging behaviour, but with consistent training he turned into a true gent. I only left him for 16 nights in his life, he came on holiday with us all over the UK and skiing in France 4 times. Knowing how difficult it can be to find someone willing to look after a challenging dog, I thought I would offer my experience and services, but also very happy to look after a laid back pooch/pet too. I have always had pets and looked after my friends & families dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, chickens, reptiles for many years. I am happy to look after any pet, any age and will give a bespoke service for what your pet needs. I am at home all day, and can be as flexible as you need me to be. I am happy to talk and meet first before you make a decision. I drive and I am available to offer a pick up and drop off service. I can give a service that is customised to your needs. I have a secure fenced garden, and I live very close to The Rodwell Trail, The Marsh Recreational Grounds and Weymouth Beach, but love going on adventures around the Dorset area.

About: I have grown up around animals, having dogs for most of that time. I moved over from South Africa in 2020, bringing my wife, Savannah (who will occasionally join on the walks) and more importantly, two rescues with us. Our family has grown to include two Romanian rescues. One foster that ended up being an adoptee and the other is a fostered while he learns to be around people and adjusts to a new way of life before he moves onto his forever home (unless he just ends up staying forever). I understand the complexities of walking with dogs that don't come from traditional local backgrounds and require a different style of walk to make them feel safe and comfortable while out and about. I am always happy to adjust the walk to match the dog from a nice chilled walk around the block for the golden oldies to a brisk, enrichment-filled walk for the younger, more energetic hounds. Currently, I am taking an online dog first aid course and working my way through a Reactive Dog Training course, designed primarily for Romans but suitable for all dogs. With long-term plans on becoming a dog behaviourist to try help more people with anxious dogs. I currently work full-time with a 4-on-4 schedule for the ambulance service, so I will be marking my availability around those shifts. Some of those work days, I may have availability in the afternoons or late evenings in the summer. I have medical experience not only with the two-legged species but also with four-legged ones. Coming from a conservation background in South Africa has helped with this. I am a strong believer in force-free training and focus on rewarding good behaviour, which I find works amazingly with my four rescues who come with an unknown history and get very nervous around people. Out on walks, I try to utilise scent work and other forms of enrichment to make the walk more enjoyable and enriching for the dogs not only working the body but the brain.

About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am 19 and have a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. I am always motivated for a challenge. I have taken care of my dogs since a young age. Taking them on walks, playing games of ball, feeding them well and of course never forgetting lots of cuddles. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. However, I would like to start dog sitting to get more experience with animals, to have a good opportunity to go into the army as a dog handler. I will make time for your pets, just like mine. If they are shy / nervous / excited / outgoing , they will all be treated with the same patience and love. I am currently at uni two days a week and working 35 hours a week 3/4 days, however I’m still left with around 2/3 days and 2 evenings free to spend with puppers. I have a fenced off, big garden and two dogs that love to play and would get on well with your dog. I can easily make room for crates if needed and live next to a beautiful field and cliffs which are great for walks!

About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life, including growing up with my own dog where I helped with daily care, walks, and basic training. More recently, I regularly look after and walk my nan’s dog, making sure she’s exercised and well cared for. I’ve also helped neighbours, friends, and family with dog sitting, walking, and general care, so I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities. Whether it’s a relaxed walk or a more active one, I’m happy to adapt to what each dog needs. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy, and properly looked after. I work full-time in the fire service, so I’m reliable and used to responsibility, but I still have good availability for dog walking and pet care. I’m available most evenings during the week and more flexible on weekends. I’m happy to offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. I provide a safe, calm, and caring environment for every dog in my care. I live in a first-floor flat, and any dogs staying with me will never be left alone, with full-time supervision and regular toilet breaks, attention, and a comfortable space to relax. Dogs in my care will get at least two walks a day, usually around an hour, with everything tailored to suit them. Whether they’re young or older, prefer shorter or longer walks, enjoy the beach or quieter routes, or need to be on or off the lead, I always adapt to their needs and your instructions. I’m happy to provide GPS tracking of walks where possible, along with regular photo updates, so you can see exactly where your dog has been and have full peace of mind while they’re with me.

We’ve never been so comfortable and happy leaving our Labrador Ned as we were with Jackie, it meant we could enjoy a relaxing day out knowing he was in good hands and enjoying himself. Ned can be very excitable and Jackie instantly knew how to handle this and control him straight away, plus he had a lovely day playing in the garden and enjoying a cool walk in the woods when the weather had cooled off a bit. He slept from the moment he got in the car to the next morning! Thank you Jackie and we will certainly be coming back to you in the future ?

Kerry and her family were very welcoming when we arrived. I immediately felt sure that Jasper would be well looked after. In fact he never noticed we were leaving. Jasper immediately engaged with Kerry’s dog, Tilly who was very playful and well matched to his energy levels. At the end of the day we collected a very tired but happy and contented doggy. I will definitely use Kerry again when I return to Dorset next year.

We met Ross a few weeks ago to introduce ourselves and our dog, Eddie. Yesterday we left Eddie with Ross for a full day and it's obvious that Eddie was very well looked after and that they enjoyed each other's company. There are some lovely walks where Ross lives so the two of them went out walking. Ross sent us some photos and updates throughout the day which is lovely. We will definitely use Ross's service again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs - we’ve had a Dalmatian/ husky / Labrador mix as well as a corgi and then a German shepherd rescue dog who was a very nervous and shy dog. I am proud foster mum to a stubborn sausage dog (who will be able to stay at his owners when I look after other dogs) and have experience looking after energetic spaniels, barky french bulldogs as well as kind and calm rescue dogs from Macao and Romania. I work from home and my job is very flexible so I can give your dog my full attention either at my home or in the home they are used to. I love spending time with furry friends - cuddles, playtime, long or short walks, I’m super easy, caring and attentive. I work from home, my job is very flexible and I can flex my work diary around commitments so can take time off and have plenty of time for walks, play time or wee breaks. I live in a two bed flat with a balcony and an enclosed garden area. I am near lots of fields and places to walk and let dogs run around

About: My wife, Pisamai and myself have always had a dog until our beloved Dalmatian, Lexi died last year. We miss her so much, but travel a lot, so thought looking after other people's dogs might fill the void! My wife, Pisamai and myself are retired, so unless we are traveling, we spend most of our time either walking, cycling, or at home in Weymouth. We live in Weymouth and have fully fenced garden. We live 10 minutes walk from a beach and numerous other walks, including the Dorset Coast path.

About: I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. I’ve been a nanny for over 10 years, so I’m very mindful, reliable, and respectful of both routines and personal spaces. I have a lovely 10-year-old Jack Russell who I walk daily, giving me firsthand experience with both senior dogs and high-energy breeds. I also spent three years walking two wonderful King Charles Spaniels, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments and exercise needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. My current schedule means I am available for dog walks or pop in visits between 9 am and 3 pm on Mondays Wednesday and Fridays. However I may be available for walks outside of these hours so please feel free to inquire. I care for dogs as if they were my own. I currently have a 10-year-old Jack Russell who I walk daily, so I understand the importance of consistent exercise, patience, and routines—especially for senior dogs and high-energy breeds. During walks, I prioritize safety, comfort, and fun. I follow each dog’s individual needs, including pace, energy level, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure dogs are properly leashed, hydrated, and given plenty of positive reinforcement.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and have grown up with pets since I was little in my home county of Dorset. I regularly make the most of the beautiful countryside and coastal paths on my doorstep, going for walks and runs. I'd love a dog to join me! I recently returned home from living in Australia for a year. With no work commitments, your dog would have my undivided attention and would never be home alone. I am a calm, affectionate and friendly dog sitter who would happily have some company and cuddles! If you have any questions, would be interested in arranging a meet and greet or would like to enquire about my potential availability, then please do get in touch. All the best, Zoe Love the company of dogs so when I am looking after someone's pet I make sure to plan my day around them. Dog walks, cuddles and food times. Personally I won't let someone's dog off the lead when on walks as it takes a long time to build up that level of trust, especially with a sitter.

About: I have lots of experience with dogs - my own pets, and my family and friends pets. I love all dogs no matter their breed or behaviours. My own pets have had difficulties with separation anxiety, and being reactive with other dogs. I often care for a French bull dog who has issues with his back legs & spine who needs some additional attention. I am a kind, caring and friend person. I am currently working in social care supporting young adults, and am pleased to be able to offer dog walking services on a part time basis. I can be very flexible with times. I am available to walk dogs early mornings from 6am, weekday evenings & on Saturdays. Please get in touch with your dog walking needs and I would be happy to discuss how I can help. Currently I can only offer dog walking & drop in services, but I am also happy to do pick ups and drop offs at the owners home.

Angela and her family looked after my dog Captain for the weekend and did an amazing job. He seemed to settle with them well and enjoyed his time with the family. Angela sent over plenty of updates and photos and was really quick to reply to messages. A huge thank you from myself and Captain (aka Pirate)

Kelsey and Jack were amazing with our two pugs! From the moment we met them, they were incredibly friendly and professional. Communication was spot on, they kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which really reassured us while we were away. You could tell our pugs were extremely well looked after and had an absolutely great time, they are totally exhausted from all the fun! We’re so grateful for the care Kelsey and Jack gave them. We’ll definitely be booking with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and attentive sitters☺️🐾

Angelika and her partner were great hosts, made Harry very welcome and sent several photos and videos of his holiday with them. Also made sure the walks were well timed and in accordance with the hot weather. Really delighted and would recommend to anyone.

From the moment Donna opened her door I knew my old spaniel Lulu would be in good hands. A warm welcome, good communication throughout the stay and a happy dog on my return. Couldn’t ask for more! Many thanks.

So pleased with the boarding with Claire. She sent lots of photos of my dog having a blast and living his best life! I met with Claire before the boarding so she could meet my dog, and we talked about the care of my dog, she interacted with him and got to know him so he was comfortable. I will definitely use Claire again.

Ryanne had petal for me for eleven nights and while away kept me informed of how she was and what her days were like. I can see she’s been well looked after and spoilt in their care. Will be in no doubt to leave petal again with Ryanne. Highly recommend. Thank you
