About: I'm David, currently completing my professional dog trainer certification. I offer patient, structured care for dogs of all ages and temperaments — from energetic pups needing a good walk to older dogs who just want a calm, familiar face. My training background means I'm confident handling leash manners, basic obedience, and dogs who need a bit of extra structure or reassurance while their owners are away. Based in Poole, I treat every dog in my care like my own — with consistency, patience, and genuine attention. Monday to Thursday is when I'm most available for drop-ins. I also work night shifts on weekends, so I can fit in daytime visits before my shift starts on those days too. I keep a consistent schedule so your dog can rely on the same times and pace each visit, and I'm happy to discuss specific timing needs before booking to make sure it works for both of us. Your dog's safety is my top priority. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid off-lead situations unless explicitly agreed with you, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and wildlife on every walk. I'm currently completing professional dog trainer certification, which means I'm trained to read canine body language and step in early if a situation looks like it could escalate.

About: I have grown up with dogs, specifically golden retrievers and labradors. However I have looked after small dogs, fluffy dogs, dogs heavier than me(!), dogs with high energy and ones that are perfect therapy dogs 😅🥰 But most importantly I love and care for them all the same way 💕💕 I currently have the summer off from work as I work in a school, so I am home 24/7. I’m very active and love to explore new places🥰🥰 I live in a bottom floor flat with our own entry, with a non-fenced garden. It is not near a main road. I’m happy to crate dogs if needed, or they can be out all day with me ☺️☺️

About: I’ve grown up looking after my own dog and looking after friend’s dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds and personalities. I adore animals, and always excited to have a companion for the day! I love hiking, making me a perfect match for dogs that need plenty of exercise and attention. As a university student, my schedule is flexible, with occasional lectures and a part-time role in a cafe. I love spending time outdoors and being around animals, so dog sitting works perfectly into my routine, and is a perfect opportunity for me to stretch my legs! I have no other animals in the house, and have a small, safe garden dogs. There is also a lovely park next to my house, and I have a car to take dogs to nice walking areas.

About: We've been on the Rover app for two years now and have had experience in looking after a range of different dogs, all have been very positive visits. We have 3 young people who love dogs and will give extra attention and care for your dog. We're usually available from Friday evenings and over the weekends to look after your dog. Day time walks and overnight stays are welcome. We will also be available for some school holidays. We have a large front room and upstairs rooms where your dog will be welcome. We have a medium sized enclosed garden where your dog will have extra outside space to play.

About: Ive had cats for the past 8 years and absolutely love spending time with them. As an animal lover, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I also have plenty of experience with dogs, having grown up around family and friends’ dogs, regularly walking them, playing with them, and helping to care for them. I’ve owned and looked after a variety of pets, including cats, hamsters, fish, and chickens, so I’m confident caring for animals. I’ll always treat your pets as if they were my own, making sure they receive lots of attention, care, and affection. I currently work Monday-Friday. 9-5 most days and 11-7 on a Tuesday. So I am able to do morning drop ins, lunch time walk as I get an hour break, and after work feeds! I am free most weekends all times. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision. Whether I’m caring for your cat or walking your dog, I’ll always follow their usual routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, playtime or walks, and I’ll always respect their individual personalities and needs. About: Having had dogs since the age of 10, I am very comfortable in walking and looking after dogs. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs. I am happy to look after dogs of any age. I have walked dogs for 'Borry My Doggy whilst at uni and more recently having volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Portugal and worked at a dog food shop locally. I have recently returned home after travelling for 6 months and whilst looking for a more permanent job, I have come back to working on Rover. I have a lot of availability currently but will only be able to be booked with minimal advanced warning. I am happy to house-sit in your home and am very respectful and tidy. I have my own transport and am very responsible meaning I am happy to drop in as and when I am needed. For now I am unable to house sit at my own home unless it is urgent as I live with my parents and have a jealous resident dog!

About: I grew up with dogs and understand the need to leave your pooch in the hands of someone you trust. I would be happy to meet up before you put your dog in our care to see if we are the right fit for you and to talk through your dog’s routine/requirements. I work in education (DBS checked) so therefore have a lot of time in the holidays to look after your dog. I also work part time so can offer dog walks/drops ins on days I am off. I have 2 children who adore dogs so I could only offer our services to dogs who are good with children. We would only be able to care for small or medium sized dogs due to their ages. We have a secure garden to provide enrichment for your dog whilst they stay with us. We live close to some gorgeous parks and the beach so could provide some lovely long walks. I work part time so am available Mondays and Fridays and most weekends. We are an active family who enjoy long walks on the weekend so would love to have a dog join the fun. We provide a secure garden for your dog to have enrichment outdoors. We would listen carefully to your dog’s requirements and routine and will provide photos of your dog having lots of fun. We would prefer it if your dog would be happy to sleep downstairs.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs for over five years. I work in education, so can provide during boarding and day care during school holidays. We can provide a home from home in a family house with garden. I specialise in local walks normally with just one ot two dogs. I have done this whilst a student. I am a gym goer so can cope with all sizes of dogs. We provide board and care with lots of regular walks. We have taken care of all sorts of dogs for over five years. About: I have been a RSPCA volunteer since 2009. This means I am used to looking after a range of animals with different needs, behaviours and temperaments. Alongside this I have looked after neighbours, friends and colleagues pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, donkey, horses, guinea pigs, ferrets, tortoises, crested gecko, hamsters, chickens, fish and African land snails. I am very happy to look after any other pets you may have. I qualified as Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2022. I would love to look after your pets! As a Registered Veterinary Nurse I am able to provide additional services whilst pet sitting such as: - Administer medication to your pets. - Provide care for diabetic pets. - Provide urinary assistance (bladder expressing and urinary catheter). - Assist with walking (using a sling). - Physiotherapy - passive range of motion, stretching and massage. So if your pet has unfortunately had surgery or treatment recently I may be the perfect sitter for your pet! I'm happy to discuss any requirements. I work full time as a Veterinary Nurse with variable free days where I am able to pet sit, do drop ins and dog walking. Please do get in touch even if I don't have availability incase I can still help. I can pet sit for a few hours/half day/full day/overnight. For the safety of any dogs I will be looking after I will not let them off the lead on walks unless it is completely secure field/pen. I will always keep an eye on your pet whilst in the garden.
