About: I am a 19 year old University Student looking to make a little extra money doing things I love over the summer: pampering pets and enjoying the outdoors. I have had two of my own dogs since being little, helping to walk, wash and feed them. They are miniature schnauzers, Lily and Tasha, mother and daughter, with lots of attitude (typical to the breed). My Grandma has been a professional poodle and schnauzer groomer for 60 years, showing, judging, and breeding them. I have helped at many dogs shows and watched her judge at Crufts. I live in Poole, Dorset with lots of scenic landscapes- beaches and parks perfect for walks. I climbed Mount Snowdon last summer and frequently go on walks with my boyfriend. I am home from University for summer holidays in June to October. I have no job so am free in the days all day. I have a holiday booked in the first half of August. I do not drive but make use of other transports methods. When my boyfriend is free from work we are planning on using my National Trust card to for walks and hikes (he drives). My parents are also happy to give me lifts when needed. I have a fenced garden. Two dogs at home, but they are old and may be nervous around other dogs, so I am only offering to look after your dogs in your homes/ keep the walking separated.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have had my own large Springador for 14 years that I grew up with, giving me extensive hands-on experience with dog care. As a large, energetic breed, he could be quite challenging at times, which has taught me patience, confidence, and how to handle dogs with different personalities and behaviours. I regularly walk my dog and am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, whether they’re calm, energetic, or still working on their lead manners. Through years of training and caring for my own dog, I’ve developed a good understanding of their behaviour, safety, and exercise needs. I’m also a big cat lover. I’ve looked after a friend’s cat while they were away, ensuring they were fed, comfortable, and well cared for and I wish to have one later in life. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home to keep them relaxed and in their usual routine. I follow any instructions provided by the owner closely, including feeding schedules, walking times, and any specific care needs. When looking after dogs, I make sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and toilet breaks, while always keeping them safe on walks. For cats, I ensure they are fed, have fresh water, clean litter trays if needed, and receive plenty of gentle attention if they want it. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always make sure everything is left clean and secure. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: We've been on the Rover app for two years now and have had experience in looking after a range of different dogs, all have been very positive visits. We have 3 young people who love dogs and will give extra attention and care for your dog. We're usually available from Friday evenings and over the weekends to look after your dog. Day time walks and overnight stays are welcome. We will also be available for some school holidays. We have a large front room and upstairs rooms where your dog will be welcome. We have a medium sized enclosed garden where your dog will have extra outside space to play.

We were leaving our 16 year old, very anxious dog for the first time in a really long time, and our 3 (yes 3) 10 week old kittens for the first time ever and Matthew felt like someone we could really trust to look after our crazy crew. No request was too much, and he did everything we needed. Matthew sent amazing photos all throughout his visit and gave us regular updates throughout the day which was greatly appreciated. About: I have grown up with dogs most of life so I do have years of experience in interacting with our 4 legged friends. Unfortunately, my personal circumstances do not allow me to have a dog of my own but I do currently live in a household with 2 springers and I regularly look after my friends 4 year old English springer who I have known and looked after since he was puppy. When in my company, your pup is my main priority and will do all I can to ensure their time with me is an enjoyable one. I love walking and the outdoors so you can be assured your dog will get lots of fresh air and they will be able to run around and play burning off all that energy. I would prefer dog sitting rather than provide boarding as I do not currently have my own home and this way it assures that your dog is their own, safe environment to avoid any additional stress or anxiety. To ensure your dog is cared for in the most effective way, I would like to meet you and your pet before hand so you can put a person to the profile and also your fur baby has an opportunity to know who I am before they are in my care so they are assured I am not a stranger and they feel safe. I will also ask questions such as: feeding habits, what kind of treats they like, how many walks are required and for how long, Can they be left alone and if so, for how long and how they are in social environments so you can leave your pup knowing they are in safe hands and will be following their same routine and of course it goes without saying that you will be provided with regular “pup dates” . I look forward to walking and spending time with your fur babies 🐶🐾 I do work full time hours (9-5) Monday - Friday however, I can assure you your dog will be walked first thing and taken for a lovely long walk in the evening and made a fuss of. I appreciate this routine may not be for everyone however, I hope you wound still consider me as I truly will give your fur baby the best care. I love dogs and have always wanted one of my own however, my current circumstances do not allow me to have one. My love for animals will ensure your fur baby will be in a safe environment and you can guarantee they will have lots of fuss, play, aswell as fun walks. You will also get regular pup dates whilst they are in my care.

About: I currently have a lively 6 month old golden retriever puppy. My partner and I share her over two locations and there are times when she is not here. But I am all set up for looking after dogs in my home. The times I'm available will be when Bella isn't with me, so I'll be able to give your dog my full attention. I'm a school teacher so generally not available during the week, except during holidays. But available Friday to Monday morning. I will always try to be flexible to accommodate your needs. I have a securely fenced back garden and am moments away from Alexandra Park. Will happily accommodate any crating requests or other needs for your fur baby.

About: Hello, I am Carol from Hong Kong now based in Poole, Dorset. I love all kinds of furry animals and had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past. I adopt them from rescues and from friends when they were babies and took good care of my animal family members until they passed away in very old age (16-20yrs). Now they all reunited on the other side of the rainbow bridge and I have the window of my life to travel around the World. As a loving and very responsible human companion to my furry families, I do understand the desire of travelling if there is a good and trusty hand to stay and take care of our animal families in their most comfortable place - HOME! Well, of course they will miss you while you are away, but I am sure they understand that you will come back home soon with beautiful smile, scent and aura. Just let me know your schedule and I will try my best to accommodate. I have pet sit 5 dogs and 4 cats so far this year and all owners are satisfied with my work with 5 stars reviews. I always check and lock windows and doors every night. I also make sure dogs and cats are safe at home during the night time. The best way to enhance the safety and trust is to walk the dogs with the owners at least one time to understand the routines and the home ( or walking routes ) environment.

About: I grew up with dogs and understand the need to leave your pooch in the hands of someone you trust. I would be happy to meet up before you put your dog in our care to see if we are the right fit for you and to talk through your dog’s routine/requirements. I work in education (DBS checked) so therefore have a lot of time in the holidays to look after your dog. I also work part time so can offer dog walks/drops ins on days I am off. I have 2 children who adore dogs so I could only offer our services to dogs who are good with children. We would only be able to care for small or medium sized dogs due to their ages. We have a secure garden to provide enrichment for your dog whilst they stay with us. We live close to some gorgeous parks and the beach so could provide some lovely long walks. I work part time so am available Mondays and Fridays and most weekends. We are an active family who enjoy long walks on the weekend so would love to have a dog join the fun. We provide a secure garden for your dog to have enrichment outdoors. We would listen carefully to your dog’s requirements and routine and will provide photos of your dog having lots of fun. We would prefer it if your dog would be happy to sleep downstairs.

About: Having grown up with dogs, cats and horses. I am a huge animal lover. I have pet sat and dog walked from a very young age. At the age of 16 I trained a disobedient male Labrador called Buddy, the family told me I changed their life. I have a way with animals, I love cuddles, walks and playing. I am always happy to assist with looking after pets other than dogs and cats too. No pet is too much for me and with me, they’ll be guaranteed to be spoiled with love. I usually work away on superyachts but I have come home to take a break and possibly find a change of career. Animals have always been the centre of my world and I am hoping this can go further. About: I've had my dog Rocky since he was a puppy and he's now 5. I've had dogs growing up and regularly looked after my Sister's dog and friends dogs. I work close to my home Monday to Friday for 5 hours each day during school hours so I will only be suitable for a dog who is happy being home for that amount of time. I would do walks before and after with my dog Rocky and I am home at weekends. I live with my nearly 11 year old twin girls who also love dogs and will also give your fur baby lots of attention.
