About: 2 for the price of 1! We are a couple who love dogs. We have had our own dogs previously and are very excited to look after and care for your dog when you need it. Great 1 level home with easy step out into the garden. Local park only 200 meters away as well as the beach a ten minute drive. Looked after various breeds and sizes in the past including miniature schnauzers, soft coated wheaten terriers, chocolate labradors, springer spaniels and staffys to name a few. We have also looked after dogs in their old age with various medical issues and administered medication as needed. My partner Gillian and I both have work from home days, we are available fully on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, some Fridays and our weekends are free. We do not have any children. Our offices are a 5 minute drive from home so we can get back to the house on office days very quickly for toilet breaks, feeding time etc. On weekends we are active but also like our rest time so are very flexible to accommodate your dog. Gill loves to paint animals too so if you would like a portrait painting of your loved one then just ask! We have a fenced garden with a lot of room for running around, our property is on one level so no stairs to worry about. There is also a park approximately 200 meters away on our road for walks and exercise. No pets currently so our home will be solely for your pet and all attention will be on them. I hope this gives you a good idea of how your dog will be looked after. If you have any questions then please message us and we will be happy to give you any information you need.

“Thanks Katie for looking after Donny. You said you thoroughly enjoyed having him and he seemed very at ease with you when you dropped him off. We organised with short notice and you were quick to respond which really helped me out. You turned up on time, at the agreed time and place. Couldn’t have been easier. I’ll organise another date soon with you. Many thanks.”

“It was the first time I had left Lola with someone I didn't know. Jasmine was so lovely, Lola obviously loved her and her family as she settled in straight away! She had plenty of walks, treats and love while she stayed with Jasmine, which is all Lola really wants. Photos reassured me she was doing well 😊”

“Angela and her family looked after my dog Captain for the weekend and did an amazing job. He seemed to settle with them well and enjoyed his time with the family. Angela sent over plenty of updates and photos and was really quick to reply to messages. A huge thank you from myself and Captain (aka Pirate)”

“This is the first time our dog has stayed overnight since losing her partner in crime to old age, so we were cautious about who we chose. We have visited a few other hopefuls, but our dog would shake with fear at the thought of even going into another house, no reflection on the supplier, just our timid dog. When we visited Rachel, we were expecting the same reaction. So when our dog literally bounded into the house and made herself at home, there was a mixture of surprise and relief! Don't know what it is, but our dog was completely at ease within seconds! We found Rachel to be personable, thoughtful and super considerate. We had the opportunity to then book our dog in for a few days before the longer stay planned later in the year, and I'm not sure our dog wanted to leave at the end of it!! We were sent daily photo's and updates, so knew our dog was happy. I can confidently state that Rachel has a way with dogs and would trust her with our dog at the drop of a hat!”

“We had never left Matilda with non-family before so were worried but we had a lovely meet with Patri before our booking date and this really put our minds at rest and we knew that Matilda would be well looked after and we had nothing to worry about. Patri asked all the right questions to ensure she gave Tilda the best care. When we left her she was not at all bothered and Patri sent us photos to show she practically went straight to sleep :) Thank you Patri, we certainly enjoyed our event more not worrying about Tilda and knowing she was in good hands,”

“If you need a kind, professional dog sitter and trainer, look no further than David. He took on our newly rescued dog (urgently) with behavioural issues and worked absolute wonders. He was so kind, understanding, and professional from the very first moment. Our dog improved impressively during his stay. David also spent time coaching us on how to practice at home. Super professional and genuinely nice—we highly recommend him!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Louisa! She looked after Heath for two weeks during her drop-in visits and was incredibly reliable, attentive, and caring. The updates and photos she sent made being away so much easier. Heath took to her right away, and it's clear she treated him like her own. I highly recommend Louisa and will definitely book her again! Thank you so much x”

About: While my main focus and training is with dogs, I'm also open to cat sitting and happy to start with simple, low-stress visits — feeding, litter, and company. I'm honest that I'm new to cats, so I'd welcome an introductory meet-up beforehand to learn your cat's routine and comfort level, and I'm always careful, observant, and quick to follow your guidance on their specific needs.

“Once again they have looked after my two cats through house visits and they are very good at communicating and very reliable - plus you can tell they genuinely love playing with them and take great care to follow all the care instructions. I would highly recommend!”

“Sarah was brilliant. Clear communication throughout, lots of photos and she even managed to get my grumpy cat to sit on her lap - she is definitely a cat expert! I would happily ask her to look after Kiwi again.”

“Tuesday looked after our two very shy cats while we were away, we were a bit nervous about leaving them but we're very reassured by her pre-sitting questions and visit, and by the videos and pictures she sent during the time we were away. Thank you for facilitating a lovely Christmas for us seeing family we'd not seen in years, would definitely recommend and we'll be coming straight to you for future sitting needs :)”

About: I have always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by pets, including having a family cat when I was younger. While my cat experience is more personal rather than professional, I have always loved caring for animals and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own environment. I’m a reliable, patient and attentive person who takes the time to understand each animal’s individual personality and needs. I know that cats can be creatures of habit, so I will always respect their routines, provide plenty of affection (when they want it!) and make sure they have everything they need while you’re away. As a self-employed personal trainer and online coach, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate time and attention to caring for your pet. I’ll treat your cat and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.
About: I have a little 9+ year old pug myself so have first hand experience with dogs. I’ve had other dogs in the past so experience handling multiple dogs at one time if needed. I work Mon-Fri, however have the flexibility to work from home several days a week so pet care can be provided during the day with notice. Fully available on evenings and weekends. I would prefer to pet sit at pet owners house. My garden is not fully secure. Caring for pets looks like providing walks, taking time to play/cuddle and generally being around to ensure the pets welfare.

“Thanks Diana. I know you were there 9.50 - 10.30 so thank you! Like me, you're getting to grips with how the Rover App works as I know I'm your first customer. Importantly, you followed all my instructions and clearly, Millie had a lovely walk and cuddles!”

About: I genuinely love spending time with cats and understand that every one has their own unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and curious, shy and independent, or simply loves a quiet cuddle, I’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, my family had a much-loved cat called Fluffy, who was part of our family for many years. Since then, I’ve looked after cats for friends and clients, including house sitting for Luna and caring for my friend’s cat, Arlo. These experiences have taught me how important it is to stick to each cat’s routine and respect their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime (if they enjoy it) and lots of affection on their terms. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is happy, safe, and in caring hands.

About: I've taken care of my own cats for 16 years, from bottle milking them until very old age. So, I have wide range of experience from being a playful buddy to home medical carer. I also did pet sit for 4 cats lately, all monthly long. All owners satisfied with my work and gave me 5 stars reviews. Most cats like hanging out with me, even those strolling or sunbathing along the street. I can feel them and will give them space or unlimited cuddles if they needed.

About: My partner currently has 4 cats all of which have different quirky personalities. I haven’t administered any medication to them, however, if I’m shown I’m sure I will get the hang of it quickly! I enjoy how cats can freely roam and come to you as and when they feel like it compared to dogs where in my experience need constant attention.

About: I'm David, currently completing my professional dog trainer certification. I offer patient, structured care for dogs of all ages and temperaments — from energetic pups needing a good walk to older dogs who just want a calm, familiar face. I also work night shifts on weekends, so I can fit in daytime visits before my shift starts on those days too. I keep a consistent schedule so your dog can rely on the same times and pace each visit, and I'm happy to discuss specific timing needs before booking to make sure it works for both of us. Your dog's safety is my top priority. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid off-lead situations unless explicitly agreed with you, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and wildlife on every walk. “Georgina looked after our Labrador whiles we were on holiday for a couple of days and she was just wonderful, from meeting her for the first time she put Henry (Labrador) at ease and ourselves instantly we knew he was in good hands. Would not hesitate in recommending Georgina 100%. She kept us updated on how Henry was doing thought out the day with photos and a little message nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank You”

I am always happy to assist with looking after pets other than dogs and cats too. No pet is too much for me and with me, they’ll be guaranteed to be spoiled with love. I usually work away on superyachts but I have come home to take a break and possibly find a change of career. Animals have always been the centre of my world and I am hoping this can go further. I will follow all instructions given to keep your pet as safe as possible! I am also happy for pets to stay upstairs with me if this is what they’re used too or shut downstairs if that’s your preference.

About: Here’s a polished, clear rewording that keeps everything you said but flows better and sounds friendly and professional: I currently live in a house and have a young child under the age of two. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including Dalmatians, German Shepherds, King Charles Spaniels, and Yorkshire Terriers. I work in Christchurch, which allows me to offer daytime dog walks and visits during the week, and I am also available for evening walks and care in Poole. If you are looking for home boarding, I work from home and can provide full-day care and supervision. I have been around dogs from a young age. My family adopted a King Charles Spaniel who required daily walks and twice-daily feeding, and he was extremely well loved and cared for. Because of his affectionate nature, we later welcomed a miniature Dachshund into our family, who has recently turned five, giving me hands-on experience with different temperaments and smaller breeds. In addition I previously lived with a German Shepherd and a Dalmatian, which has further expanded my experience with larger dogs. I’ve grown to love caring for them there’s nothing better than coming home to a happy, excited dog. I am very flexible with timings and happy to help whenever needed. Please feel free to message me for any further details. I would be more than happy to assist with any dog or cat and care needs. I currently work full time in at an office job in which my hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday but can work around my hours during the weekend and can be more available on weekends depending on you’re requirements. I currently have moved into a house and which is located close to Poole park so your dog can be enjoy running around and going on lovely adventures. If I was to visit or house sit this would be different as I would ensure your dog has the same love and care they deserve making sure they are well fed, loved and given generous walks.
About: My family had owned pets pretty much my whole life, from small animals like gerbils and budgies, to dogs and cats! As a somewhat paranoid pet owner myself, I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pets care to someone else, and as a result I aim to give the same standard of care as I would for my own pets. I am also able to provide care for birds. as I am at home from university over the summer period, I am very flexible in terms of when I am available to provide pet care. The care I provide can vary depending on the needs of your pet. I will ensure their environment is safe at all times, paying careful attention to any specific hazards or concerns you may have. And of course walking/feeding/playing.

However I have looked after small dogs, fluffy dogs, dogs heavier than me(!), dogs with high energy and ones that are perfect therapy dogs 😅🥰 But most importantly I love and care for them all the same way 💕💕 I currently have the summer off from work as I work in a school, so I am home 24/7. I’m very active and love to explore new places🥰🥰 I live in a bottom floor flat with our own entry, with a non-fenced garden. It is not near a main road. I’m happy to crate dogs if needed, or they can be out all day with me ☺️☺️

“Tom is trustworthy and reliable, following our instructions to care for our spaniel, Hank, well. As a young dog he can be a handful but Tom gave us an update and looked after him well despite this. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with dogs and understand the need to leave your pooch in the hands of someone you trust. I would be happy to meet up before you put your dog in our care to see if we are the right fit for you and to talk through your dog’s routine/requirements. I work in education (DBS checked) so therefore have a lot of time in the holidays to look after your dog. I also work part time so can offer dog walks/drops ins on days I am off. I have 2 children who adore dogs so I could only offer our services to dogs who are good with children. We would only be able to care for small or medium sized dogs due to their ages. We have a secure garden to provide enrichment for your dog whilst they stay with us. We live close to some gorgeous parks and the beach so could provide some lovely long walks. I work part time so am available Mondays and Fridays and most weekends. We are an active family who enjoy long walks on the weekend so would love to have a dog join the fun. We provide a secure garden for your dog to have enrichment outdoors. We would listen carefully to your dog’s requirements and routine and will provide photos of your dog having lots of fun. We would prefer it if your dog would be happy to sleep downstairs.
“Melanie did a great job! I had such peace of mind being able to travel for work knowing she was giving him the attention he needed! And sent photos. Great communication. Thank you again Melanie”

About: Having had dogs since the age of 10, I am very comfortable in walking and looking after dogs. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs. I am happy to look after dogs of any age. I have walked dogs for 'Borry My Doggy whilst at uni and more recently having volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Portugal and worked at a dog food shop locally. I have recently returned home after travelling for 6 months and whilst looking for a more permanent job, I have come back to working on Rover. I have my own transport and am very responsible meaning I am happy to drop in as and when I am needed. For now I am unable to house sit at my own home unless it is urgent as I live with my parents and have a jealous resident dog!

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have had my own large Springador for 14 years that I grew up with, giving me extensive hands-on experience with dog care. As a large, energetic breed, he could be quite challenging at times, which has taught me patience, confidence, and how to handle dogs with different personalities and behaviours. I regularly walk my dog and am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, whether they’re calm, energetic, or still working on their lead manners. Through years of training and caring for my own dog, I’ve developed a good understanding of their behaviour, safety, and exercise needs. I’m also a big cat lover. I’ve looked after a friend’s cat while they were away, ensuring they were fed, comfortable, and well cared for and I wish to have one later in life. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether you need a dog walker or someone to drop in and check on your pet, I’m reliable, caring, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after. Im currently a student finished with college so have allot of free time and currently no job from my experience this would be a perfect opportunity to start earning money. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home to keep them relaxed and in their usual routine. I follow any instructions provided by the owner closely, including feeding schedules, walking times, and any specific care needs. When looking after dogs, I make sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and toilet breaks, while always keeping them safe on walks. For cats, I ensure they are fed, have fresh water, clean litter trays if needed, and receive plenty of gentle attention if they want it. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always make sure everything is left clean and secure. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away.
“Anna-Lee stepped in at short notice to walk Ralph due to me being struck down with illness. Anna-Lee was easy to talk to friendly and asked all the right questions to fill me with confidence that Ralph would be well exercised and looked after. Ralph came back from his walk happy and relaxed. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend Anna-Lee!”

We think she had a lot of fun, and definitely got treated like one of the family. Highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking to find a sitter for their four legged best friend.”
