“This was the first time I had left Olive overnight with someone other than my family and to say I was nervous is an understatement. I needn't have worried at all, Sue took exceptional care of Olive. I recieved photos and videos of Olive along with messages from Sue letting me know how she was getting on. Olive got lots of cuddles and seems to have settled in really well. Sue had even cleaned her food and water bowls for me, it's a small detail but it shows how much effort she went to. I will definitely be booking Olive with Sue again. Thank you!”

“Our dog Sully had a great time again! Sarah was caring, reliable, and kept us updated with photos and messages. Sully came home happy and well cared for. We’ll definitely book again!”

“I collected Molly today after a 2 week stay with Will. She seemed happy and like her normal self. I was pleased to hear she had been on lots of adventures & would like to thank Will for all the photos he provide of her. Thanks”

About: I'm David, currently completing my professional dog trainer certification. I offer patient, structured care for dogs of all ages and temperaments — from energetic pups needing a good walk to older dogs who just want a calm, familiar face. My training background means I'm confident handling leash manners, basic obedience, and dogs who need a bit of extra structure or reassurance while their owners are away. Based in Poole, I treat every dog in my care like my own — with consistency, patience, and genuine attention. Monday to Thursday is when I'm most available for drop-ins. I also work night shifts on weekends, so I can fit in daytime visits before my shift starts on those days too. I keep a consistent schedule so your dog can rely on the same times and pace each visit, and I'm happy to discuss specific timing needs before booking to make sure it works for both of us. Your dog's safety is my top priority. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid off-lead situations unless explicitly agreed with you, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and wildlife on every walk. I'm currently completing professional dog trainer certification, which means I'm trained to read canine body language and step in early if a situation looks like it could escalate.
“This was my second time sending my dog Captain to Angela and her family and they did an amazing job again. He was well and truly looked after and he seemed to remember and settle with the family really easily again. I got lots of updates and photos during the week and could tell how much love and care my Captain was getting. I can't thank Angela enough and absolutely recommend her for other dog owners. I'll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“We had never left Matilda with non-family before so were worried but we had a lovely meet with Patri before our booking date and this really put our minds at rest and we knew that Matilda would be well looked after and we had nothing to worry about. Patri asked all the right questions to ensure she gave Tilda the best care. When we left her she was not at all bothered and Patri sent us photos to show she practically went straight to sleep :) Thank you Patri, we certainly enjoyed our event more not worrying about Tilda and knowing she was in good hands,”

“It was the first time I had left Lola with someone I didn't know. Jasmine was so lovely, Lola obviously loved her and her family as she settled in straight away! She had plenty of walks, treats and love while she stayed with Jasmine, which is all Lola really wants. Photos reassured me she was doing well 😊”

We organised with short notice and you were quick to respond which really helped me out. You turned up on time, at the agreed time and place. Couldn’t have been easier. I’ll organise another date soon with you. Many thanks.”

“Dawn and Obi took wonderful care of Chieveley. Communication was excellent with a lovely daily photo and it was clear Chieveley had a truly awesome week so it allowed me to have one too knowing she was well cared for”

“Tilly, my senior whippet , had a very comfortable stay with Sophie who is so good with her , providing medication and all the attention she needs. Thank you very much and I’m sure that Tilly looks forward to seeing you again soon!”

About: While my main focus and training is with dogs, I'm also open to cat sitting and happy to start with simple, low-stress visits — feeding, litter, and company. I'm honest that I'm new to cats, so I'd welcome an introductory meet-up beforehand to learn your cat's routine and comfort level, and I'm always careful, observant, and quick to follow your guidance on their specific needs.

“I never felt so confident leaving my house and my cat alone for a longer time. I received a lot of pictures and updates about my cat from Emily - twice a day! On average 15 pictures a day, so I was sure my cat is happy. I highly recommend Emily to anyone who loves their cats and their house. Thank you Emily!!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for the past 8 years and currently have my own cat, Roxy, who is 14 years old. I adopted her when she was 7, so I understand the importance of building trust and respecting each cat’s personality. Roxy is quite independent and isn’t a fan of cuddles, which has taught me how to care for shy, anxious, and more reserved cats. I know that every cat is different, and I always let them set the pace making sure they are comfortable.

“Darcey looked after our two cats while we were away on holiday and did a great job. She was professional and easy to deal with, and kept us updated with photos and messages so we knew the cats were happy. We came home to two very relaxed, well-looked-after cats. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a reliable cat sitter.”

About: I have always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by pets, including having a family cat when I was younger. While my cat experience is more personal rather than professional, I have always loved caring for animals and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own environment. I’m a reliable, patient and attentive person who takes the time to understand each animal’s individual personality and needs. I know that cats can be creatures of habit, so I will always respect their routines, provide plenty of affection (when they want it!) and make sure they have everything they need while you’re away. As a self-employed personal trainer and online coach, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate time and attention to caring for your pet. I’ll treat your cat and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.

“Thanks Diana. I know you were there 9.50 - 10.30 so thank you! Like me, you're getting to grips with how the Rover App works as I know I'm your first customer. Importantly, you followed all my instructions and clearly, Millie had a lovely walk and cuddles!”

“Sarah was brilliant. Clear communication throughout, lots of photos and she even managed to get my grumpy cat to sit on her lap - she is definitely a cat expert! I would happily ask her to look after Kiwi again.”

“Louisa is a very caring and animal loving. She had no problem making Casper and Otis trusting her and loving her in no time. I felt extremely relaxed leaving them in her care. Louisa followed all my instructions to my full satisfaction. I will definitely have Louisa back to look after my cats.”

“Aljona did a fantastic job looking after my cat for 4 days when I had an emergency. She was prompt in responding, friendly and listened to me regarding my cats needs and responded accordingly. I received updates and photos for each visit. Thank you. It is so much appreciated”

“Nia is amazing. Cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s reliable friendly loves animals and is so caring of your pets that you have absolutely no worries about leaving them. I would always opt for Nia every time I am away. Def 1st choice. 10/10 gold star!!”

About: I genuinely love spending time with cats and understand that every one has their own unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and curious, shy and independent, or simply loves a quiet cuddle, I’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, my family had a much-loved cat called Fluffy, who was part of our family for many years. Since then, I’ve looked after cats for friends and clients, including house sitting for Luna and caring for my friend’s cat, Arlo. These experiences have taught me how important it is to stick to each cat’s routine and respect their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime (if they enjoy it) and lots of affection on their terms. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is happy, safe, and in caring hands.

About: I've taken care of my own cats for 16 years, from bottle milking them until very old age. So, I have wide range of experience from being a playful buddy to home medical carer. I also did pet sit for 4 cats lately, all monthly long. All owners satisfied with my work and gave me 5 stars reviews. Most cats like hanging out with me, even those strolling or sunbathing along the street. I can feel them and will give them space or unlimited cuddles if they needed.

About: My partner currently has 4 cats all of which have different quirky personalities. I haven’t administered any medication to them, however, if I’m shown I’m sure I will get the hang of it quickly! I enjoy how cats can freely roam and come to you as and when they feel like it compared to dogs where in my experience need constant attention.

About: Here’s a polished, clear rewording that keeps everything you said but flows better and sounds friendly and professional: I currently live in a house and have a young child under the age of two. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including Dalmatians, German Shepherds, King Charles Spaniels, and Yorkshire Terriers. I work in Christchurch, which allows me to offer daytime dog walks and visits during the week, and I am also available for evening walks and care in Poole. If you are looking for home boarding, I work from home and can provide full-day care and supervision. I have been around dogs from a young age. My family adopted a King Charles Spaniel who required daily walks and twice-daily feeding, and he was extremely well loved and cared for. Because of his affectionate nature, we later welcomed a miniature Dachshund into our family, who has recently turned five, giving me hands-on experience with different temperaments and smaller breeds. In addition I previously lived with a German Shepherd and a Dalmatian, which has further expanded my experience with larger dogs. I’ve grown to love caring for them there’s nothing better than coming home to a happy, excited dog. I am very flexible with timings and happy to help whenever needed. Please feel free to message me for any further details. I would be more than happy to assist with any dog or cat and care needs. I currently work full time in at an office job in which my hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday but can work around my hours during the weekend and can be more available on weekends depending on you’re requirements. About: My family had owned pets pretty much my whole life, from small animals like gerbils and budgies, to dogs and cats! As a somewhat paranoid pet owner myself, I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pets care to someone else, and as a result I aim to give the same standard of care as I would for my own pets. I am also able to provide care for birds. as I am at home from university over the summer period, I am very flexible in terms of when I am available to provide pet care. The care I provide can vary depending on the needs of your pet. I will ensure their environment is safe at all times, paying careful attention to any specific hazards or concerns you may have. And of course walking/feeding/playing.

I have walked dogs for 'Borry My Doggy whilst at uni and more recently having volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Portugal and worked at a dog food shop locally. I have recently returned home after travelling for 6 months and whilst looking for a more permanent job, I have come back to working on Rover. I have a lot of availability currently but will only be able to be booked with minimal advanced warning. I am happy to house-sit in your home and am very respectful and tidy. I have my own transport and am very responsible meaning I am happy to drop in as and when I am needed. For now I am unable to house sit at my own home unless it is urgent as I live with my parents and have a jealous resident dog!
About: I grew up with dogs and understand the need to leave your pooch in the hands of someone you trust. I would be happy to meet up before you put your dog in our care to see if we are the right fit for you and to talk through your dog’s routine/requirements. I work in education (DBS checked) so therefore have a lot of time in the holidays to look after your dog. I also work part time so can offer dog walks/drops ins on days I am off. I have 2 children who adore dogs so I could only offer our services to dogs who are good with children. We would only be able to care for small or medium sized dogs due to their ages. We have a secure garden to provide enrichment for your dog whilst they stay with us. We live close to some gorgeous parks and the beach so could provide some lovely long walks. I work part time so am available Mondays and Fridays and most weekends. We are an active family who enjoy long walks on the weekend so would love to have a dog join the fun. We provide a secure garden for your dog to have enrichment outdoors. We would listen carefully to your dog’s requirements and routine and will provide photos of your dog having lots of fun. We would prefer it if your dog would be happy to sleep downstairs.

“Anna-Lee stepped in at short notice to walk Ralph due to me being struck down with illness. Anna-Lee was easy to talk to friendly and asked all the right questions to fill me with confidence that Ralph would be well exercised and looked after. Ralph came back from his walk happy and relaxed. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend Anna-Lee!”

Thank you!”

“Piotr was brilliant with our spaniel Lucky who has some separation anxiety. We received regular updates and photos of our happy and relaxed pup having a great time. He clearly enjoyed his stay with Piotr and his lovely family. We would no doubt book again when next in town. Thank you!”

“Thanks Katie for looking after Donny. You said you thoroughly enjoyed having him and he seemed very at ease with you when you dropped him off.

“Camila was excellent with my 10 month old cocker spaniel girl Nala - she sent regular updates and videos which really put my mind at ease. Nala came home happy and I can't recommend Camila enough!”

“Niels and his family are lovely and very welcoming. You could really tell they cared for our dog as if she was their own. They sent us regular updates which was great for peace of mind. Their dog Coco was a great playmate and a lovely girl! We would 100% recommend and be using them again.”

“Thankyou for having Lily and looking after her so well , we really appreciate all the attention and care you put into making her feel so at home with you and highly recommend your services to any owner wanting their dog looked after .”

“It was Mika 'a first boarding so I was a bit worried. But Matias was great with her, she seemed to like Matias straight away. She is also raw fed and Matias offered some space in the fridge with no issue. I received regular updates and photos from her walks. Mika came back yesterday late in the evening and she is back to her mischievous self today.”

“This was the first time leaving our pup with anyone, and we couldn't have asked for better. She was taken care of to such a high level that we were worried she wouldn't want to come home. We think she had a lot of fun, and definitely got treated like one of the family. Highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking to find a sitter for their four legged best friend.”

“We left our old dog, Cassie, with Scott and his family for nearly three weeks. Cassie bonded well with them and we received updates at regular intervals. We felt very reassured as we were apprehensive about leaving her, as she had not been away before. We would thoroughly recommend Scott and his family as perfect dog sitters.”

“Klaudia was quick to respond to my last minute request to look after our dog, Gary. On collection he was as happy as he ever is, which told me all I needed to know about the care he was given while I was away. Thanks Klaudia for taking great care of our boy. We are incredibly grateful.”
