I will follow your wishes completely regarding your cat’s care. I can visit up to twice a day, providing fresh food, water, clean litter and lots of fuss, play and cuddles.

It’s good to know if your cat is very shy or anxious or doesn’t like being fussed by a stranger. The last thing I want to do is to cause your cat stress while you’re away. I have a very gentle approach and am very much guided by your cat’s body language.
A typical day
I’m really happy if you’d like me to groom your cat, play games, fuss, chat or just sit with them. Every cat is different but I usually find they only take a day or so to get used to me - however I take it easy letting cats come to me in their own time as I appreciate your cat may feel anxious as you’re away. I want to help alleviate that.

Hello I’m Caroline, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile page. I have had my own cats for the past 40 years and prior to that, as a child growing up, we always had cats too. They were always a well loved part of our family. I have recently retired from the NHS after working for more than 40 years as a nurse. I am absolutely loving my new life & looking after cats on ‘Cat in a Flat’ is a fabulous part of this. I completely understand your anxiety about allowing a stranger like me into your home when you go away, I also understand your reluctance to leave your well loved feline. But stress not, you can checkout my reviews and know you can trust me to care for your cat or cats as I would my own. Then you can go away & relax. I will really enjoy looking after your cats- that I can promise you. I believe cats not only need food and water and a clean litter tray, but also play, company and love. I will provide all this for your cat or cats and I will love every minute of it.

Excellent reliable cat sitter . Sent photos of our Athena and was very caring and kind . Highly recommended .
Caroline communicated really well both before and during her visits. Both cats were happy and relaxed on our return and we would definitely use her again.
