Cat caregivers near you - Purbeck
Prices are estimates per visit for 1 cat. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: I genuinely love spending time with cats and understand that every one has their own unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and curious, shy and independent, or simply loves a quiet cuddle, I’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, my family had a much-loved cat called Fluffy, who was part of our family for many years. Since then, I’ve looked after cats for friends and clients, including house sitting for Luna and caring for my friend’s cat, Arlo. These experiences have taught me how important it is to stick to each cat’s routine and respect their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime (if they enjoy it) and lots of affection on their terms. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is happy, safe, and in caring hands.

About: Is what all my friends call me, they’re convinced I will be alone with 50+ cats in the future. I can’t blame them, I prefer animals to humans. (Sorry not sorry). I have had Siamese cats, moggys and I now have a 13 y/o Burmese cat called Boom. I am obsessed with Sphinx cats, so bonus points for them, I will sit for free!
“Angel looked after my dog while we were away. She sent regular pictures and updates. She was really helpful and came to visit Casper before we left to get to know what was needed. I felt really comfortable leaving Casper with her and she is very trustworthy. Thank you so much angel. I would definitely Recommend Angel to anyone !”

About: We are Marta and Jay, partners and dog owners working from home. We have been dog walking and looking after pets for a couple of years now. We both grew up with dogs, big and small, and now own a 2 year old German Shepherd Fred and 5 month old Cockerpoo puppy Ulu. Thanks to this we know how to take care of dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments! We both work from home so our schedule is really flexible and I’m sure we can adapt to you and your pets needs. We would be more than happy to make your time away less stressful by providing the best care possible for your pet! :) We live in a house with a fully fenced garden, where dogs are allowed on all furniture and can provide crates if needed. Message us and we can figure out all the details. Please note before booking house sitting - due to our other dog walks, we might have to pop out for a couple of hours at a time. We are both working full time but have a pretty flexible working schedule. Please feel free to send us a message and we’re sure we can make your schedule work. We can drop in and check on your pets, play with them, and feed them or care for them when you’re away. Also, we can walk your pet and play with them to provide them with the physical and cognitive exercise. Let us know if you’d like us to train your pet too, we’d be happy to! We’re experienced with anxious and reactive pets and can help both you and your pet feel at ease.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Purbeck
Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: I'm David, currently completing my professional dog trainer certification. I offer patient, structured care for dogs of all ages and temperaments — from energetic pups needing a good walk to older dogs who just want a calm, familiar face. My training background means I'm confident handling leash manners, basic obedience, and dogs who need a bit of extra structure or reassurance while their owners are away. Based in Poole, I treat every dog in my care like my own — with consistency, patience, and genuine attention. Monday to Thursday is when I'm most available for drop-ins. I also work night shifts on weekends, so I can fit in daytime visits before my shift starts on those days too. I keep a consistent schedule so your dog can rely on the same times and pace each visit, and I'm happy to discuss specific timing needs before booking to make sure it works for both of us. Your dog's safety is my top priority. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid off-lead situations unless explicitly agreed with you, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and wildlife on every walk. I'm currently completing professional dog trainer certification, which means I'm trained to read canine body language and step in early if a situation looks like it could escalate.
About: I take the time to understand every dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and temperaments, including seniors and anxious pups, and I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I don't work now, so I can devote all of my time to caring, playing and fun walks with your dog. I have two parks near by and we have lots of calm cuddles and comfy naps after. I am licenced with BCP and Safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. I care for pets in a clean, secure, and comfortable home where they’re never left unattended for long periods. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, and care instructions to help them feel settled and stress-free. I keep a close eye on behavior, energy levels, and appetite, and I’m quick to respond if anything seems off. I treat every pet like family—making sure they feel safe, loved.
“Georgina looked after our Labrador whiles we were on holiday for a couple of days and she was just wonderful, from meeting her for the first time she put Henry (Labrador) at ease and ourselves instantly we knew he was in good hands. Would not hesitate in recommending Georgina 100%. She kept us updated on how Henry was doing thought out the day with photos and a little message nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank You”

I work as a children’s social worker, which means I am around throughout the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and care for pets in my home. My professional background means I am highly responsible, trustworthy, calm under pressure, and experienced in meeting individual needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I am confident in managing pets with different personalities, routines, and needs, and I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in safe hands. I would love to meet you and your pet and provide a caring, reliable service you can trust. I work from home during the week, which means pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to provide regular supervision, companionship, toilet breaks, feeding, and attention throughout the day. I am able to build walks, playtime, and care around my schedule, ensuring pets are not left alone for long periods. My evenings and weekends are also flexible, allowing me to accommodate dog walks, drop-in visits, and daycare depending on your pet’s needs and routine. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets are supervised, given regular toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I always follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any individual needs. I have two free roaming house rabbits of my own, who will be kept on a separate floor away from any dogs attending daycare, ensuring a safe environment for all animals. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect their routine and home environment, making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for in familiar surroundings. Drop-in visits (less than 4hrs and including a walk): Between £20-£40 Day bookings between 4-6 hours: £50 6+ hours: Full daily rate of £60 30 min walk: £15 60 min walk: £25 Cat & small animal sitting: £20 for drop-in visit or £40 per day housesitting (Note that additional fees apply when booking through Rover. Please see my Rover calendar, which I update regularly, to ensure I’m free on the days you require. You can trust me to keep your pet/s secure when in my care. Please let me know if there’s anything specific I need to know about your property and your pet. Dogsitting is now my full-time job. About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

Great 1 level home with easy step out into the garden. Local park only 200 meters away as well as the beach a ten minute drive. Looked after various breeds and sizes in the past including miniature schnauzers, soft coated wheaten terriers, chocolate labradors, springer spaniels and staffys to name a few. We have also looked after dogs in their old age with various medical issues and administered medication as needed. Super professional and genuinely nice—we highly recommend him!”
