About: March 2026: I’ve been a spaniel owner for 15 years - puppies through to seniors. I’ve had my working cocker, Frankie, since he was 8 weeks old and trained him myself. He’s now 5 and, like most spaniels, loves everyone! I have also looked after friend’s dogs over the last few years. Prior to Frankie, I rescued 2 male american cocker spaniels that had never been socialised. They certainly tested me but I learnt a lot from the experience. As a dog owner, when I’m looking for a sitter myself, I’m looking for someone who is capable, confident and calm. I need to feel a certain energy and know that my dog will be exercised safely and cared for with kindness. I can offer all of this. I can only consider dogs up to 18kg in weight. I work from home for my husband’s business and can manage my own time. My day always starts with walking Frankie, sometimes in Upton Country Park and sometimes Hamworthy park. I’m out for another walk mid afternoon and if weather permits Frankie will spend part of the day mooching around the garden. I’m fine with special requirements and I can accommodate short walks for seniors if required. I have a fully secure, large garden. Also, plenty of space indoors, a large kitchen diner and a utility room. I have a puppy pen and a large crate if required. Frankie has been sleeping in his bed in the corner of my bedroom but my preference would be for him to sleep downstairs if he has a companion.
“Violet had a fantastic time with lots of photos to show how she was getting on and the lovely walks she was going on. Jess is fantastic and very reassuring. Violet is already booked in for a longer stay and I am so happy to have found such a wonderful sitter for Violet.”

“Sam has already done walks with my little Westie and this was the first overnight stay. She came back happy and it was obvious that Sam and his partner had made a lovely fuss of her.”

“Joan and Phil were absolutely fabulous. They looked after Teddy and cared for him as if he belonged to them. They gave him so much love and attention, you just couldn’t fault them in any way. I had regular updates to show me that Teddy was happy and safe. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a trustworthy dog sitter. Once again thank you Joan and Phil.”

About: Hi, I’m Lily, a passionate animal lover and experienced pet carer offering a safe, loving home environment for your pets. I work as a children’s social worker, which means I am around throughout the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and care for pets in my home. My professional background means I am highly responsible, trustworthy, calm under pressure, and experienced in meeting individual needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I currently have two house rabbits of my own, who are kept in their own separate room away from any dogs attending doggy daycare, so everyone can remain safe and comfortable. Over the years, I have carried out drop-in visits, feeding sessions, pop-ins, and dog walking for others. I am confident in managing pets with different personalities, routines, and needs, and I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in safe hands. Whether your pet needs company during the day, a walk, feeding visits, or loving care while you’re away, I will treat them as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and lots of affection. I would love to meet you and your pet and provide a caring, reliable service you can trust. I work from home during the week, which means pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to provide regular supervision, companionship, toilet breaks, feeding, and attention throughout the day. I am able to build walks, playtime, and care around my schedule, ensuring pets are not left alone for long periods. My evenings and weekends are also flexible, allowing me to accommodate dog walks, drop-in visits, and daycare depending on your pet’s needs and routine. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets are supervised, given regular toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I always follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any individual needs. I have two free roaming house rabbits of my own, who will be kept on a separate floor away from any dogs attending daycare, ensuring a safe environment for all animals. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect their routine and home environment, making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for in familiar surroundings. Whether this is feeding, drop-in visits, companionship, or walks, I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs and always provide reliable, attentive care.
About: My family had owned pets pretty much my whole life, from small animals like gerbils and budgies, to dogs and cats! As a somewhat paranoid pet owner myself, I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pets care to someone else, and as a result I aim to give the same standard of care as I would for my own pets. I am also able to provide care for birds. as I am at home from university over the summer period, I am very flexible in terms of when I am available to provide pet care. The care I provide can vary depending on the needs of your pet. I will ensure their environment is safe at all times, paying careful attention to any specific hazards or concerns you may have. And of course walking/feeding/playing.
About: I take the time to understand every dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and temperaments, including seniors and anxious pups, and I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I don't work now, so I can devote all of my time to caring, playing and fun walks with your dog. I have two parks near by and we have lots of calm cuddles and comfy naps after. I am licenced with BCP and Safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. I care for pets in a clean, secure, and comfortable home where they’re never left unattended for long periods. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, and care instructions to help them feel settled and stress-free. I keep a close eye on behavior, energy levels, and appetite, and I’m quick to respond if anything seems off. I treat every pet like family—making sure they feel safe, loved.
About: I have grown up with dogs and love being in their company. I have experience of looking after many types of dog and would have plenty of time to spend walking and playing with your pet. I work from home part-time (22 hours) so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a secure garden. I have two daughters, a 14 year old and a 6 year old, both are very happy and comfortable around dogs. I have a secure fenced garden with plenty of space for your pet to run around. There are lots of great places locally for dog walks, including the local rec. I have no dogs or other animals of my own. I work part-time, from home. This allows me to be flexible to your dogs routine, such as toilet routines, exercise, play, feeding etc. I spend a lot of time at home so your dog will have plenty of company. I have a secure, fenced garden. I am also trained in dog first aid/CPR (September 2022) and have access to a dog first aid kit. I live near plenty of lovely places to walk your dog.
About: Here’s a polished, clear rewording that keeps everything you said but flows better and sounds friendly and professional: I currently live in a house and have a young child under the age of two. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including Dalmatians, German Shepherds, King Charles Spaniels, and Yorkshire Terriers. I work in Christchurch, which allows me to offer daytime dog walks and visits during the week, and I am also available for evening walks and care in Poole. If you are looking for home boarding, I work from home and can provide full-day care and supervision. I have been around dogs from a young age. My family adopted a King Charles Spaniel who required daily walks and twice-daily feeding, and he was extremely well loved and cared for. Because of his affectionate nature, we later welcomed a miniature Dachshund into our family, who has recently turned five, giving me hands-on experience with different temperaments and smaller breeds. In addition I previously lived with a German Shepherd and a Dalmatian, which has further expanded my experience with larger dogs. I’ve grown to love caring for them there’s nothing better than coming home to a happy, excited dog. I am very flexible with timings and happy to help whenever needed. Please feel free to message me for any further details. I would be more than happy to assist with any dog or cat and care needs. I currently work full time in at an office job in which my hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday but can work around my hours during the weekend and can be more available on weekends depending on you’re requirements. I currently have moved into a house and which is located close to Poole park so your dog can be enjoy running around and going on lovely adventures. If I was to visit or house sit this would be different as I would ensure your dog has the same love and care they deserve making sure they are well fed, loved and given generous walks.

About: My family had a boxer dog called Charlie before I was born until I was 6. My grandparents also had a dog until two years ago, who I walked and played with. My neighbour also would being their cocker-spaniel Poppy to our house a few weekends a year, for us to look after, including taking on regular walks, out to the toilet, etc. I would like to petsit a few weekends a year, probably once a month, and am happy to travel to a variety of places for this. I will ensure the safety of your pet at all times, ensuring I follow the instructions you provide to fulfil the individual needs of your pet. I have high attention to detail, and have worked in environments where responsibility and caring for others is of extreme importance (I worked in a nursery for 3 months over the summer 2021).

About: As a Rover client myself since 2021, I know exactly what it takes to provide peace of mind when you trust someone with your four-legged family member. Having used drop-ins, daycare, walks, and boarding from the owner's side, I know how reassuring a quick photo update is, how vital it is to stick to a precise feeding schedule, and how important transparency is. I treat your dog’s routine as absolute law and deliver the exact high standard of care that I expect for my own dog, Odin. Raising my own 5-year-old Black Labrador through the high-energy puppy stages means I am well-versed in positive reinforcement, maintaining house-training schedules, managing teething, and ensuring safe, controlled socialization. Equally, I understand that older dogs have vastly different needs. Whether it's managing a slower pace on our walks, administering oral medications, recognizing signs of joint discomfort, or simply ensuring they have a quiet, comfortable space to rest, senior dogs receive gentle, attentive care here. I am entirely comfortable handling larger, high-energy breeds, managing leash pulling, and ensuring that play sessions remain safe, balanced, and fun. Your dog will seamlessly blend into a structured, active, and reliable daily schedule: 8:30 AM: A long 45–60 minute morning walk at Bournemouth Gardens (plenty of ball-throwing and running around for high-energy pups!). 1:00 PM & 5:00 PM: Dedicated comfort breaks. 8:30 PM: A secondary 45–60 minute evening walk to wind down for the night. 11:30 PM / Midnight: A final late-night comfort break before settling in for bed. Because I share my home with Odin, we strictly accept dogs who are friendly and comfortable with other dogs. Our home is rarely empty. I work a brief shift Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. However, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, someone is always at home, ensuring your dog is never left alone during those times. On Mondays and Thursdays, dogs should be comfortable being left for a maximum of 3 hours in the evening alongside Odin. We live in a flat ideally located directly across the road from Bournemouth Gardens, meaning fantastic, green, and expansive walks are right on our doorstep!
“Charlotte was very helpful to us at a difficult time. She took Balla and Jasper and looked after them wonderfully. They were made at home and made a fuss of……. Thank you very much.”
