“Zoe is a gem. She responded to our request for Ginger to stay, speedily and efficiently. Our little dog was so happy when we collected her, testimony to being so well cared for by Zoe during her two night stay. Thank you for being so kind and lovely to Ginger - beach walks included! We will be back. Stu”

“We had never left Matilda with non-family before so were worried but we had a lovely meet with Patri before our booking date and this really put our minds at rest and we knew that Matilda would be well looked after and we had nothing to worry about. Patri asked all the right questions to ensure she gave Tilda the best care. When we left her she was not at all bothered and Patri sent us photos to show she practically went straight to sleep :) Thank you Patri, we certainly enjoyed our event more not worrying about Tilda and knowing she was in good hands,”

About: We’ve loved taking care of cats for a long time now, housesitting for friends and family, and now all over the world! We absolutely adore all kinds of cats and kittens and have gotten to know so many little personalities along the way. We always make sure our cats are well fed, watered and played with! We always empty out litter trays as needed so that all our cats are kept clean and comfortable. The most we’ve looked after in one sit was three cats, who were an absolute delight.

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where your pet will feel truly at home. I’ve looked after cats of all ages, temperaments, and needs—from playful kittens to senior cats requiring extra patience and care. As part of a warm, animal-loving family, your cat will receive not just routine care, but genuine affection, companionship, and attention. We understand how important it is to maintain your cat’s routine, comfort, and well-being while you’re away, and we treat every cat as if they were our own. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, administering medication, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence, you can trust that your cat will be in experienced, caring hands.

About: I genuinely love spending time with cats and understand that every one has their own unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and curious, shy and independent, or simply loves a quiet cuddle, I’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, my family had a much-loved cat called Fluffy, who was part of our family for many years. Since then, I’ve looked after cats for friends and clients, including house sitting for Luna and caring for my friend’s cat, Arlo. These experiences have taught me how important it is to stick to each cat’s routine and respect their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime (if they enjoy it) and lots of affection on their terms. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is happy, safe, and in caring hands.

About: Is what all my friends call me, they’re convinced I will be alone with 50+ cats in the future. I can’t blame them, I prefer animals to humans. (Sorry not sorry). I have had Siamese cats, moggys and I now have a 13 y/o Burmese cat called Boom. I am obsessed with Sphinx cats, so bonus points for them, I will sit for free!
About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am 19 and have a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. I am always motivated for a challenge. I have taken care of my dogs since a young age. Taking them on walks, playing games of ball, feeding them well and of course never forgetting lots of cuddles. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. However, I would like to start dog sitting to get more experience with animals, to have a good opportunity to go into the army as a dog handler. I will make time for your pets, just like mine. If they are shy / nervous / excited / outgoing , they will all be treated with the same patience and love. I am currently at uni two days a week and working 35 hours a week 3/4 days, however I’m still left with around 2/3 days and 2 evenings free to spend with puppers. I have a fenced off, big garden and two dogs that love to play and would get on well with your dog. I can easily make room for crates if needed and live next to a beautiful field and cliffs which are great for walks!
“Angel looked after my dog while we were away. She sent regular pictures and updates. She was really helpful and came to visit Casper before we left to get to know what was needed. I felt really comfortable leaving Casper with her and she is very trustworthy. Thank you so much angel. I would definitely Recommend Angel to anyone !”

“Teddy had a lovely day with Sandie. Sandie is very caring and treats each dog as a special individual. She has a lovely home and lovely local walks. Thank you Sandie for your care for Teddy today.”

“Our dog Rudy had the best day with Alexandra! We requested to book only the day before, Alexandra kindly accepted and helped us out with our urgent request and we couldn’t have been happier to find her. She was so professional, doing everything she could to ensure Rudy had a safe and happy stay with her, and providing loads of photos and info on the lovely country walk they went on. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will be using her for any future dog sitting needs.”

“My puppy absolutely loves staying with Cathy it certainly is very much a home from home environment where Cathy treats every dog like her own. She has a lot of experience and is excellent at handling some behavioural issues my dog displays. I highly recommend Cathy for the daycare she offers and she is also very flexible fitting in with my various work schedules.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs - we’ve had a Dalmatian/ husky / Labrador mix as well as a corgi and then a German shepherd rescue dog who was a very nervous and shy dog. I am proud foster mum to a stubborn sausage dog (who will be able to stay at his owners when I look after other dogs) and have experience looking after energetic spaniels, barky french bulldogs as well as kind and calm rescue dogs from Macao and Romania. I work from home and my job is very flexible so I can give your dog my full attention either at my home or in the home they are used to. I love spending time with furry friends - cuddles, playtime, long or short walks, I’m super easy, caring and attentive. I work from home, my job is very flexible and I can flex my work diary around commitments so can take time off and have plenty of time for walks, play time or wee breaks. I live in a two bed flat with a balcony and an enclosed garden area. I am near lots of fields and places to walk and let dogs run around

“Amy was fantastic with Colin. She obviously made him feel very comfortable and took lots of gorgeous photos. She was a perfect fit for our little monster of a puppy. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“We met Ross a few weeks ago to introduce ourselves and our dog, Eddie. Yesterday we left Eddie with Ross for a full day and it's obvious that Eddie was very well looked after and that they enjoyed each other's company. There are some lovely walks where Ross lives so the two of them went out walking. Ross sent us some photos and updates throughout the day which is lovely. We will definitely use Ross's service again and have no hesitation in recommending him.”

“Thank you, Jackie, for such an excellent 24 hours taking care of our Italian Spinone. He was beautifully looked after. I returned to find him playing happily with a Border Terrier, having had some good walks and spent lots of time in Jackie's garden. He can be a fussy eater but Jackie handled all of this with aplomb. We will be back!”

“Kerry and her family were very welcoming when we arrived. I immediately felt sure that Jasper would be well looked after. In fact he never noticed we were leaving. Jasper immediately engaged with Kerry’s dog, Tilly who was very playful and well matched to his energy levels. At the end of the day we collected a very tired but happy and contented doggy. I will definitely use Kerry again when I return to Dorset next year.”

About: I’ve looked after dogs for several years both my own and other people’s. I have experience with dogs of all ages and love looking after puppies as much as older dogs. I often work from home so I’m able to give dogs lots of love and attention, I have a large fenced garden and loads of toys for them to play with. A usual day involves long walks, playing in the house and garden, playing with toys and enrichment activities and lots of cuddles! The house is very secure with a gate and wall at the garden so when coming in and out there is no chance of a dog escaping. The house is a few minutes walk from a large field where we regularly take our dog and there are lots of other great walks nearby.
“Trudy is the best dog sitter I’ve ever used! She took such good care of Logan, and kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. She has been so kind and flexible and I have already rebooked her for two more dates! Highly recommend!”

About: My wife, Pisamai and myself have always had a dog until our beloved Dalmatian, Lexi died last year. We miss her so much, but travel a lot, so thought looking after other people's dogs might fill the void! My wife, Pisamai and myself are retired, so unless we are traveling, we spend most of our time either walking, cycling, or at home in Weymouth. We live in Weymouth and have fully fenced garden. We live 10 minutes walk from a beach and numerous other walks, including the Dorset Coast path.
“Excellent, very friendly and helpful. Looked after our spaniel really well. Sent pics and reassured us she had settled. Will definitely use her and Jack again and highly recommend them.”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Danielle and partner! From the moment I left Mika on the first day, they were incredibly warm and welcoming—not just to me, but most importantly to my 38kg Bernese puppy, Mika. Finding a daycare that’s not only comfortable with larger breeds but truly understands them can be tough, but they were amazing. Mika can be a bit shy at first, but they were so patient and accommodating, giving her all the time she needed to settle in. They clearly love what they do, and it shows in how happy and relaxed Mika is when I pick him up. It’s such a relief knowing he was in caring, capable hands—and getting plenty of play and cuddles with Caesar while at theirs. Definitely would book again! Thank you so much!”

“Alana was fantastic! She took great care of Vixen and kept me updated throughout. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her walking duties seriously. Reliable, friendly, and attentive—highly recommended!”

About: My family have had dogs since I was born, parents, grandparents, siblings all had them and now I have my own, Rosie the lurcher, so any dog staying will need to be ok with a house mate. I’ve been walking dogs of all sizes for as long as I can remember. From fiesty Jack Russell’s to a bull terrier cross with a greyhound, also known as a baby rhino with his size and strength. Being a family of dog lovers we’ve had them at all stages of a dogs life so understand the needs. I’ve also got a level 2 open college qualification in animal care just that little bit extra to help I work full time but have certain days off a week. It will always be Tuesday I have off, other days vary depending on the week. So will have to change availability depending on work schedule. I have a closed off back garden and plenty of sofa space! The dog/dogs would have to get on with Rosie, but she’s been fine with every dog she’s met in her own home. Fresh water, food if needed and plenty of blankets! There is a big field near by also if needing a walk on or off lead.
About: I have had cats since early childhood, ranging from hand rearing kittens who have been rejected, semi feral and domesticated cats. To now having cats of my own with my partner, they are our own babies! I hope to bring my passion and care to your fluffy friends so you don't have to worry about them whilst you are away! I work remotely at home so I am able to dip out during the day if needed to care for your felines! I can work around the schedule you need! As I will be visiting your home, I find it helpful to meet you before you head off on your first trip away. So you can show me what you need and if there are any special requirements for your feline friends!

About: I was brought up in a home that helped look after rescues dogs, we have always had our own dogs, labs specifically but we have also taken in stray cats and got them healthy again. I absolutely adore animals (probably more so than humans!) I am currently on a hiatus from my usual work and want to try this opportunity not only to provide excellent service but to also bond with pets and it's a great way for a mental health break. I am not doing this for the money but I truly believe in the mental benefit of working with animals. I am hardworking, laid back but fair person, I recently was diagnosed with autism and looking after your furry pets it's a keen interest of mine, I believe that all animals can be bonded with and I strive to achieve that bond with all animals I am lucky enough to meet. No task is a bother to me and I am one for a strict and regimented routine however I can easily adapt to whatever your pets needs are. I am planning to work part-time but I can work longer hours if needed, I just need a bit of pre warning. I am currently not working apart from volunteering at a few farm sites on Wednesdays. I am a trustworthy person, I am currently living in temporary accommodation which unfortunately means I cannot house animals, however I have no problem with caring while in a pet owners home. I am a very tidy, clean and active person, my sole dedication would be to your animals, making sure they get the love they need as well as keeping your home tidy, safe and clean

About: Hi I’m Amelia! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, from dogs and cats to horses and chickens, caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’m 20 years old, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, a cosy cuddle, or keeping your pet company while you’re away, I bring calm energy and lots of affection to every visit. I have a cat, a horse, look after chickens and regularly dog sit, so I’m comfortable with all temperaments and needs. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority! I’m currently working from home most days of the week and always have Mondays and weekends off. I can be flexible on what day or time works best for you and your pet, whether it’s a morning stroll, a lunchtime walk or afternoon sit you’re looking for I’d be more than happy to help. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel most safe and relaxed. I follow each pet’s routine closely whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, or quiet companionship and I always respect the owner’s instructions and preferences. I keep the home tidy, provide updates as often as you'd like, and make sure your pets feel loved and secure while you're away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible for both you and your animals.
About: I have 6 years of experience training my own dog at home. I love dogs, they are my favourite animals in the world and one day I hope to own a dog sanctuary where I can rescue countless dogs across the country and the world. This is the start of my journey towards that. I believe that a happy dog is a well-managed dog. My approach is Force-Free and focuses on Positive Reinforcement to build a bond of trust and mutual respect. Here are the 8 core pillars I use to ensure every walk or visit is a high-quality learning experience: • The "Continuous to Variable" Method: I use treats to "bank" good behavior. For new skills, I reward every success; once mastered, I switch to random "jackpot" rewards to keep your dog focused and motivated without needing a bribe every time. • The Three D’s of Mastery: I help dogs bulletproof their commands by gradually increasing Distance from the dog, the Duration of the task, and the level of Distraction in the environment. • The "Be a Tree" Policy: I never allow a dog to pull. If the lead goes taut, I stop completely until it slackens, teaching them that a loose lead is the only way to move forward. • Tiered Reward Systems: I use "Standard" kibble for easy tasks and "High-Value" treats (like chicken or cheese) for emergency recall or high-distraction situations. • Short, High-Intensity Bursts: Dogs learn best in 5–10 minute sessions. I keep training short and always finish on a "win" to keep their confidence and engagement high. • Positive Reinforcement Only: I focus entirely on rewarding desired behaviors. I never use aversive equipment like choke chains or prong collars. • The "Watch Me" Check-In: I train dogs to respond to a "Watch" cue, allowing me to regain their attention immediately if a squirrel or another dog appears nearby. • Capturing Calmness: Beyond active commands, I reward "Settle" behaviors. If a dog chooses to relax while we wait at a crossing, they receive a calm reward to reinforce a relaxed default state. I balance a professional part-time role in Dorchester with a disciplined morning routine of market analysis, which I typically conclude by 11:00 AM. This structure allows me to dedicate the vast majority of my day to taking dogs on high-energy adventures through the Dorset countryside. While my professional shifts can vary, I am consistently available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. I pride myself on reliability and clear communication, ensuring your dog's routine is never disrupted. My long-term goal is to transition into full-time animal care, so I treat every walk as a commitment to building a lasting bond with your pet. I ensure that every pet has their own dedicated personal space, including their own bed, food, and water to maintain an stress-free environment. Your dog will have easy access to a secure, fully fenced garden for play and relaxation. During our outings, I strictly limit my groups to a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time. I believe that maintaining total control is the key to a safe and enjoyable walk in the Dorset countryside. For dogs that are less social or require more focused attention, I also offer specialized solo walks. To provide a truly comprehensive service, I can also incorporate basic training during our walks and offer grooming services, such as baths and brushing, to keep your pet looking and feeling their best. I will eventually get the license to have dogs at my property if you would prefer that as well.

“Amy was fantastic and helped out with mums dog at short notice due to family emergency. Ted is an anxious dog but Amy understood him and was great. We had regular communication and lovely photos. Would highly recommend. Thank you Amy ❤️”

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and a wide variety of animals, I bring a lifelong dedication to animal welfare and wellbeing. I spent 10 years living and working on a farm with boarding kennels, where I was deeply involved in the daily care, feeding, exercise, and monitoring of animals in both home and professional settings. My passion for animals has been a constant throughout my life, reflected not only in my work but also in always having my own cats and dogs. I am confident, compassionate, and attentive to the individual needs of each animal, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I am around all day, which allows me to make sure pets always have access to fresh food and water. I regularly provide walks, playtime, and attention to keep them active and happy, while also monitoring their overall wellbeing. If medication is needed, I can administer it on schedule, and I am comfortable maintaining any training routines to encourage good behavior and consistency. Overall, I make pet care a priority by ensuring pets are safe, comfortable, exercised, and well cared for throughout the day. I provide a safe, trustworthy, and caring environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while in my care. I have a good-sized fenced garden for outdoor time and exercise, with woods just behind my home as well as plenty of nearby fields and coastal walks that are perfect for dogs who enjoy exploring and staying active. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident leaving their pets with someone reliable, and I always aim to give pets the same attention and care they would receive at home. I am also happy to come to your home if preferred, helping pets stay relaxed in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine.

It’s relaxed, happy and we put safety & happiness first. We welcome “meet & greets” so you & your dog can have a sniff about (!) and you can see how we work. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

“Trudy looked after Pip so well. She was sensitive to her needs as an older dog and did her utmost to make sure Pip was happy - which she was. Thank you Trudy. Your kindness and care were much appreciated”

“This was Gwens first time away from the family and we were worried as she's quite a sensitive dog. Alex was amazing with her, she gave us regular updates and Gwen thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Lots of lovely walks and lots of playing ball. We have no hesitation in using Alex again and thoroughly recommend her. Thanks again Alex and family”

About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 16 years old from boarding to walking and general checkups. I work with animals professionally have multiple years of medical training under my belt. I am more than comfortable with all breeds, species and temperaments. 🩷 I currently work 4 days a week so am available all evenings and all days on my days off to take care of your loved ones. I have a three week rolling rota so have very consistent days off for full day hoardings. Depending on how close you live to my work I am also available to do lunch time drop ins and quick walks/feeds on my lunch breaks. I am very flexible and can work around you :) For boarding I have a fenced in garden that they can have full access too. I don’t have any pets or take care more then one households pets at a time so they will never be around unfamiliar animals. For walks I offer a 30 min to an hour and a half evening walk. I will never walk your dog with another houses dog and will always keep them on leash for their safety :) For pet sitting at your home it is always your house your rules and will always make sure they are being cared for exactly as you request. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

“I would highly recommend Jackie as someone who will give your dog the best care. Bonnie can be anxious in certain situations but she looked perfectly relaxed and at home when I picked her up. She had enjoyed a lovely countryside walk too. Thank you Jackie, we were able to enjoy our mini music festival, knowing Bonnie was in very good hands.”

“Arwen had a wonderful time with Sofia and I would highly recommend her. When I arrived to take Arwen home she came to greet me but then went back to her bed and didn’t want to come home. And that was after one night so she obviously felt completely at home.”

“Jane was fantastic! Her home and garden are safe and perfect for dogs, and she clearly adores them. River had so much fun playing with Watson and came home happy, relaxed and beautifully brushed. I really appreciated all the regular updates – it was great to know he was in such loving hands.”

“Keith and Michelle were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Maya. They are kind, caring, and clearly love what they do. Maya enjoyed plenty of long walks and came home happy and relaxed. I couldn’t ask for better people to look after her — highly recommended!”

“A big thank you to Sue for looking after our two dogs Ace and chobbit. Sue kept us updated on how our boys were doing over the 4 days in her care. Brilliant service with genuine care for animal welfare. We will book with Sue again with out question. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏”

“What a lovely couple. My dog has had a fantastic time. He's come home exhausted after a very long walk. From the photos I have been sent, I can see he thoroughly enjoyed his walks. He was welcomed into their home and treated as though he was their own. It was clear to me that they are dog sitting because they love dogs. I am so happy that my dog was so well looked after. Thank you Sam and Katherine x”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.
“Ryanne had petal for me for eleven nights and while away kept me informed of how she was and what her days were like. I can see she’s been well looked after and spoilt in their care. Will be in no doubt to leave petal again with Ryanne. Highly recommend. Thank you”

“What a wonderful place for Poppy to have her first try at home sitting with people she’d never met. Kelsey let me know during the 2 day stay that she had made herself at home and was absolutely fine and I’m not sure she wanted to come with us when we collected her. 5* treatment so thank you again.”

“We were very nervous as this was our first time using outside help but on our first meet and greet, we knew straight away that Nala was going to fit right in with Angela and her family, Nala seemed right at home.playing with the children in the garden. Angela reassured us and updated us with photos and she went above and beyond to cater for Nala’s every needs. We have rebooked Angela again”

“Piotr was brilliant with our spaniel Lucky who has some separation anxiety. We received regular updates and photos of our happy and relaxed pup having a great time. He clearly enjoyed his stay with Piotr and his lovely family. We would no doubt book again when next in town. Thank you!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Rachael taking care of Molly. From the moment we met her, it was clear how dedicated and passionate she is about what she does. She took the time to tell us about her background and experience, which immediately made us feel at ease. She was incredibly kind and welcoming with Molly, making sure she felt comfortable right away. Throughout the stay, Rachael kept us updated with messages and photos, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend her, and in fact, we’ve already booked Molly’s next stay with her because we were so happy with the care she provided.”
