“I would highly recommend Neil to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur baby while they're away. Neil looked after our dog for five days while we were on holiday, and we couldn't have been happier with the care he received. He treated our dog as if he were his own, making him feel comfortable, loved, and right at home throughout his stay. We had complete peace of mind knowing our dog was in such caring hands. Thank you, Neil!”

“So very kind and accommodating. Bronwen took our dog on beautiful long walks and wasn’t phased by his boundless energy. She sent lots of lovely photos of their fun together. Bronwen made sure she kept his usual home rules and routine to avoid confusion. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again! Thank you”

“I cannot fail to recommend Derek highly enough to anyone who is thinking of boarding their dog(s) with him. Derek has taken such good care of my pooch walking him three times a day, seeing that he is utterly content and happy at all times, sending video and photos of what they have been doing all through the day. My boy has come home to me very happy and looking great! I will certainly use Derek's services again as there is nothing that he will not do to ensure your dog's happiness whilst they are staying with him.”

“Really great communication through and Emma sent lots of pictures of Comet during his stay which was very reassuring. Comet returned tired and happy which is the sign of a good sleep over! Many thanks.”

I'm so pleased I've found someone that I feel comfortable leaving Lola with! She has come home worn out and well looked after. Becca was great at sending me pictures and videos of what they got up to each day which was a lovely touch! Thank you!”

My nursing career has helped me develop the qualities that are also important in excellent pet care: patience, responsibility, attentiveness, and compassion. I carefully manage my availability and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so when your pet is in my care, you can feel confident that they will receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. I work locally as an NHS nurse, so I’m available for pet care on weekends, after 5pm on weekdays and during periods of annual leave. I’m reliable and organised and will always make sure I have plenty of time to give your pet the care, attention and companionship they need. I’m responsible, caring and used to putting wellbeing and safety first. I’ll bring the same level of care and attention to looking after your pet. I understand the importance of following routines, instructions and individual needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. Due to the nature of my profession I am DBS checked.
“First time we have used Emma for dog sitting our 12 year old Jack Russell X Pug Bella. Emma is lovely and calm with Bella and settled her in well as we have not left her with a dog sitter previously This was an overnight stay to see how Bella would cope with being away from us. Bella was fine when we picked her up on the Saturday and we are now going ahead with a four night stay in June. 10/10 service 👍🏼🤩🐻❤️”

“Dot had such a lovely time with Sarah and Rolo. It was lovely to see how quickly Dot had settled by receiving videos of Dot and Rolo together. I would definitely recommend Sarah and will be using in the future x”

“We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after Max while we were away on holiday! It was our first time ever leaving him, so I was really anxious about it, but Liz put our minds at ease straight away and made us feel so reassured from the moment we met her. Liz was absolutely amazing with Max and went above and beyond to make sure he had the best time. She took him on lovely walks, even taking him to waterfalls and beautiful places, and the photos she sent us were absolutely incredible! It was so lovely to see how happy he was and how much fun he was having. We also got loads of updates while we were away, which gave us such peace of mind and meant we never felt like we were missing out. Liz is genuinely such a lovely, kind and caring person, and it was obvious how much she cared about Max. We highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to look after their dog. About: I've taken care of cats of every kind since I was a teenager. What started as a natural love of animals has since become my profession. I'm now a qualified animal behaviourist with a Postgraduate Certificate in Companion Animal Behaviour and Welfare, which means I don't just look after your cat — I understand them. Whether it's a quick drop-in or a longer sit, you can trust your dog is in safe, knowledgeable hands. I know what to do to keep your cat happy, settled, entertained and safe.

About: Hi, I’m Shannon! I provide dedicated one-to-one pet care, focusing on one household at a time so your pets always receive my full attention. I’m fully DBS checked, insured and CPD certified. My calm, patient approach makes me especially suited to nervous, rescue, elderly and reactive pets. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, relaxed and loved in their own environment, and I always tailor my care to their individual routine and personality. Regular photo updates and meet-and-greets are all part of the service. 🐾

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. About: What sets me apart as a cat sitter is the combination of formal education, hands-on experience, and a genuine understanding of feline care and behaviour. I studied Animal Care at college for almost five years, giving me a solid foundation in animal welfare, health, and the specific needs of cats. Alongside my studies, I spent four years volunteering in a cat shelter, where I gained extensive experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. This included feeding, cleaning litter trays, maintaining hygiene standards, providing enrichment and gentle interaction, and supporting cats that were shy, nervous, or in need of extra patience and reassurance. I have also cared for cats belonging to friends and family, who trusted and relied on me to maintain their routines while they were away. I understand how important familiarity, consistency, and a calm environment are for cats, particularly when their owners are not home. I’m easy-going, patient, and respectful, allowing cats to approach me in their own time. I’m also completely reliable and trustworthy, with many references available for peace of mind. My aim is always to provide thoughtful, attentive care so your cat feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and I’ve had a few in the past. I’ve even been around whilst my cats have given birth! What an experience that was! SO cute! My house is calming, with no tiny humans or any animals running around, so they should feel comfortable and relaxed from the offset. They are free to explore every corner of the house. No where is off limits to them. My house is open plan and quiet, which should put them at ease straight away. They will be loved and cared for like they are my own and they can have as much affection as they’re comfortable with, whilst they get settled in! ☺️

About: I absolutely adore all animals! I am patient, kind and caring. I would love to take care, cuddle and feed your fur babies for you when needed. I have had experience house sitting for family pets as well as friends and I also had 2 Siberians of my own who I absolutely adored!

About: About Me Hi! I’m Sophie – a lifelong animal lover with over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I live in a peaceful rural area surrounded by fields, with a secure open garden and a small enclosed one right next to my house. I work from home, so your pets will never be left alone – they’ll be part of the family while they’re here. I share my home with my own friendly crew: 🐾 Kisa, my gentle elderly dog who’s the queen of calm cuddles 🐾 Harley, an older collie mix who still plays like a pup 🐾 Mimi, a sweet 9-month-old kitten (friendly to all – except the local voles 😅) I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and indoor-only cats. I’ve also cared for dogs with complex needs, including those with seizures, deafness, and medication routines (oral meds, injections, eye drops – you name it). I’m happy to accommodate special care and will always work with you to ensure your pets feel safe and loved. I prioritise keeping owners informed and at ease – I know how hard it is to leave your furry family behind, and I treat every animal in my care like one of my own. ❤️ Pet care is part of my everyday routine! I live and work from home, so I’m always around to give the animals in my care plenty of attention, love, and supervision throughout the day. (I work in cimla voluntarily on weekends - can sit in that area) Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, supervised play in the garden, or peaceful strolls through the nearby fields, your pet’s needs easily fit into my schedule. I’m used to working around feeding times, medication schedules, and different energy levels — from playful pups to snoozy seniors. I structure my day around the pets in my care, not the other way around. I sometimes volunteer on the weekends but that's as and when! Pets in my care are treated like extended pack members from the moment they arrive. I make sure every animal feels safe, respected, and comfortable — whether that means quiet time, playtime, or sticking closely to their usual routine. At my home, I have an open garden surrounded by peaceful countryside, perfect for sniffy walks and fresh air. I also have a smaller enclosed garden right next to the house for potty breaks and supervised outside time. I never leave pets unsupervised outside. Inside, pets have full access to safe, cozy spaces, with comfy spots to relax and regular opportunities for cuddles, enrichment, and play. I supervise all interactions between pets and always follow your preferences regarding routines, feeding, sleeping, and exercise. I have experience with: Administering medication (oral, eye drops, injections) Caring for elderly, deaf, or anxious animals Managing multi-pet households calmly and safely Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, I aim to create a calm, stress-free experience where they feel loved and you feel reassured 🐾

“Derek took wonderful care of Rigby whilst hosting him for daycare! Rigby has quite strong separation anxiety, but it seems that he’s was incredibly comfortable and settled the entire time. Even ahead of the booking, the care put into the questions asked and the meet and greet really helped to ease my own nerves about it too. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Derek!”

“Absolutely amazing, thoughtful and responsive day care for my whippet. She had the best day with Becca and her pup Russell. Becca’s love and understanding of dogs is unmistakable. We will be returning, especially as I think Ripley has a new best friend in Russell!”

About: I have experience caring for my 15-year-old senile family dog, Milly, who I look after on some days (She will not be present during stays) Caring for her has taught me how to be patient, attentive and understanding of a dog’s individual needs, including providing plenty of comfort, attention and gentle care. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and adapting to their different personalities, energy levels and routines. I work from home 4 days a week, so your dog will have plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and rest periods. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled while they’re with me. Your dog will have plenty of space to relax, play and feel right at home! 🐾 Our garden is predominantly grass, surrounded by thick hedges, trees and secure fencing, giving them a lovely private space to enjoy. The grass area wraps around the side of the house and leads towards our front drive, but we have a full front gate and your dog will always be supervised when outside, so their safety is our priority. We’re also a very dog friendly home. Furniture and cuddles are absolutely encouraged! 🥰 We want them to feel comfortable and settled rather than like they’re staying somewhere unfamiliar. You’re also more than welcome to bring their favourite toys, blankets or anything else from home that helps them feel at ease. For walks and adventures, we’re particularly lucky! Our back gate gives us instant access to a quiet public field, perfect for a run, sniff and some exploring. We also have plenty of bike trails, walking paths and green spaces nearby, so there are lots of opportunities to get out and enjoy some variety. Whether your dog wants an energetic adventure, a good sniff around, or simply a cosy day filled with attention and cuddles, we’ll make sure they get plenty of both. ❤️🐶

About: Grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up but I couldn’t as I wouldn’t be able to do the things they do to animals cause I get so emotional. I did animal care training with ACT and worked with all animals. I’m a stay at home mam so dogs won’t ever be left alone during the day unless I drop my daughter to school which is only 5 mins down the road from where I live so can talk toe dog or dogs with me to drop her off at school then take them for a long walk around my local park I have a small garden with a gate right down to the floor so they can’t escape. They will have free roam of the house (except upstairs)
About: We both come from households with dogs our whole lives. I’ve always had 2 dogs whilst growing up on a farm and Oli loved growing up with his dogs Bailey and Summer. The past couple years we have looked after a range of dogs whilst housesitting for friends and family. I am available all day and Oli works until 3 so available in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to look after your pets! I work from home so there’s plenty of time for walking and attention for your pup. When Oli gets back he loves a walk and spend time in the garden. We have a fenced garden, with a park nearby and happy to take further if needed. Separate room downstairs for dog to stay in, but happy to have upstairs too!

About: FULLY INSURED & Enhanced DBS checked🖤 Facebook business page: Wags & Whiskers🐾 🐾Diploma in Canine behaviour Hi there! My names Taylor-Lauren, but most people call me 'Tay' or 'Taylor' I'm 24 and live in Nelson (CF46). Most of the time I'm reading books or out in walks with my best friend.. my best friend being a border collie named Charlie🤎 I understand I may not have many reviews yet as I’ve not long joined Rover - but I wanted to try and make this my full-time job! So while I'm new to this app I'm not new to pet sitting or pet walking! I have experience with both cats and dogs due to growing up with both, as well as volunteering for Hope Rescue and doing a lot of work with Cats protection too. I fully understand how important it is to find someone who will love and look after your pets just like you would yourself, and that's what I hope to do here, after-all pets aren't just animals but they are members of our family that are loved just the same... sometimes more as they don't answer back or give attitude haha. I can offer my services of checking in multiple times a day and spending time with your beloved pet, housesitting if you would prefer for them not to be left alone while you're away and general dog walking too! Thank you for taking the time to read my little introduction, I hope to hear from you soon✨ I’ve currently left my full-time job, and looking to expand in other areas of my life starting with Rover! It’s something I’d like to do full-time and eventually have my own business in doing so, I have so many years of experience so I’m making use of it! Due to having a rescue cat, I’m unable to have other animals in my home - but caring for your beloved pets in the comfort of their own home is something I believe very important, giving them fusses, lots of cuddles and an active walk so they can be exercised and kept healthy!
“Calum looked after our puppy shiba inu for the afternoon. We would not hesitate to recommend him - he was a great dog sitter. Our dog was well looked after and Calum communicated reliably before and during the session. Thanks Calum!”

About: Hello my name is Lucia 🙂 I have grown up around dogs and cats and I have always had them as part of my family, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience caring for them. Over the years, I have helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention. Being around dogs and cats for most of my life has taught me how to understand their needs, personalities, and routines, and I am comfortable caring for them of different ages and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. On weekdays, I only leave briefly in the morning to take my child to nursery from 10:00 to 11:30, and then I return home for the rest of the day. This means I can provide plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship for your pet throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and play safely. Pets will receive lots of love, attention, and care while staying with me. I also enjoy taking dogs on regular walks, so they can get exercise, explore, and have fun during their stay.

About: I’m a qualified, force-free dog trainer at Biscuits Buddies Dog Training I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I’m particularly experienced with nervous, anxious and sensitive dogs, as well as dogs who may need a little more patience and understanding. I’m confident reading canine body language and always work at the individual dog’s pace, using kind, reward-based methods. I also have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds and dogs with additional behavioural or emotional needs. I understand that every dog is different, so I’ll always follow their usual routine as closely as possible and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and understood while in my care. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog as an individual , not just another booking! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally around my day, and when your dog is with me they’ll enjoy plenty of attention, enrichment, toilet breaks and time to relax. Please note that this is not a 24-hour supervision service. Dogs under my care must be comfortable being left home alone for periods of up to 4 hours during the day, as I may need to leave the house for work, appointments or errands. I’ll always make sure your dog’s needs are met before I leave and that they have a safe, comfortable space to settle until I return. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. As a professional force-free dog trainer, I’m experienced in reading canine body language and recognising when a dog may be feeling worried, overwhelmed or simply needs some space. In my care, dogs are treated as part of the family and given a comfortable, calm environment with plenty of opportunity to rest. I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication and any individual care requirements. I only use kind, force-free handling and will never use punishment or aversive equipment. I also take introductions and interactions with other dogs carefully, rather than assuming every dog wants or needs to socialise. I want both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable, so I’m always happy to discuss their individual needs, quirks and routines before their stay. 🐾
“Robyn came over to meet my dog Jasper before the walk and he took to her straight away. The photos and videos show he had a great time and it was great for me to see him happy in my absence. I will definitely be booking Robyn again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life as we've always had one as a family pet. I've also taken friends and neighbours dogs for walks along with dog sitting them. I always make a lovely bond and always make sure all animals are well looked after as they are more family than animals Pet care becomes a natural part of my own daily rhythm it’s woven into my schedule almost like clockwork. Here’s how it typically fits in: Morning: Wake-up nudge: Your dog might be your alarm clock. First task? A quick potty break or walk. Feeding time: You prep their breakfast while maybe grabbing your own. Grooming check: A quick brush, paw check, or wiping off muddy paws if needed. Midday: Exercise/play: Whether you're on a lunch break or home during the day, this is a chance to stretch legs and play fetch or tug. Mental stimulation: Maybe a puzzle toy, a training session, or even just some one-on-one time. Evening: Walk or play session: A wind-down activity that burns off energy. Feeding and clean-up: Dinner and water refill, along with any tidying up. Affection/cuddles: Pets need emotional care, too. This could be snuggle time on the couch while you relax. Before Bed: Bathroom break: One last trip outside. Health checks: You might slip in a quick ear check, teeth brushing, or meds if needed. I have a fenced off garden front and back due to having my own dogs with a side gate, dogs will not get out alone
About: I grew up around working dogs and will be looking to get my own dog soon! I love dogs and I always have, myself and my partner have also got two spoiled cats in our house so I have experience with cats also. I have dogsat for friends and family and wholly loved the experience, I also trained all of my own dogs growing up so I fully understand that every animal has their own unique traits and personality. I'm always available to pop in and take care of your pets! Be it a short toilet break and water check or a good long walk, I'm happy to learn your rules and expectations and make sure that your animal is as happy as possible while I'm around. And if they're not the social type - thats fine too! I'll always have water with me on walks to make sure we both stay hydrated. I'll keep your dog on a lead at all times and am happy to take less social dogs out at quieter times to ensure they get a good walk in. I'm also happy to film and photograph both home visits and walks so you know your pet is receiving the best care possible while you're away. I also 100% encourage a meet and greet beforehand for you and your animal, so they can get a sizing of me and so you know who you're dealing with!

About: Hey! I have more than 10 years of experience taking care of domestic and farm animals of all kinds across a number of platforms and countries! There's been pets in my family home for as long as I can remember. Our first pets were stray kittens that my sister and I found at the bottom of our garden when I was around 8 and that's what started us off on our cat craze! Teddie the golden lab joined us in my early teens and lived in harmony with the cats. I love to travel and have been blessed enough to look after amazing animals throughout Europe in the last 4 years through a number of platforms to great success. Everything from ducks and chickens to goats and donkeys to cats and dogs of course, have been under my care in every regard from eating, sleeping, napping, training and medical needs. Anything specified by the owners is always carried out by me with the utmost of care like they're my own :) I have a car and love to travel, so I am super flexible and available. My schedule is extremely malleable around any particular routines your pet has whether that be medical, or feeding, sleep or exercise related. I absolutely adore canine and feline company and that's what I'm here for. They will always have my utmost focus and be my absolute priority. Until I have pets of my own again, I relish this opportunity to spend quality time with some new lovely furry friends. The only killer is when I have to leave and I've gotten so attached to them :( I do my utmost to assimilate into your pet's life so maximise comfort for them while you're away and absolutely miminise disruption to what feels normal to them.
“Our dog, Luna, absolutely loved being walked by Taylor. Taylor turned up promptly on time and took Luna to a nearby field, where we received videos and photos on how she was doing and her zooming up and down the pitch! (Taylor previously asked us if Luna was good at recall and able to be ‘off lead’). Taylor is great at communicating with us and facilitating our needs. Taylor even brought treats for Luna, creating a positive bond with her on their first walk. I would highly recommend Taylor to walk your dog/s, with the utmost professionalism and care for them.”

About: 🔒Secure and safe gated play park walks 📸 Regular pup pictures and updates 🌲On lead forestry walks 👋🏻 Meet & greet before booking 💓 Cared for as if they were my own 🥰 Lots of hugs and cwtches I know how nerve wracking it can be to be without your pet and my aim is to make dog & owner’s experience as stress free as possible! Growing up we have always had dogs and I have taken on a lot of the walking/training responsibilities of both our animals and friends and families. I have lived with and looked after a variety of breeds and have experience with larger dogs too. Myself and my partner would love a dog of our own, but due to work commitments changing in the future I don’t want to commit to a dog of our own and not be able to meet its needs 100% of the time. So by offering services through rover I can fill that dog shaped hole in my heart and provide your pets with the love and attention they need when you are unable to x I am a freelance makeup artist and have a flexible schedule which will allow pet care to fit in to my routine easily and allows me to give them my full attention. I will be the primary caregiver to your pet. However when my partner Becky is not working, we will be caring for your pet together and both love going to long walks and adventures so your dog will get plenty of exercise and entertainment whilst in our care! Currently only offering pet sitting in their own home. It’s important to me that your pet is safe and comfortable in somewhere they know. I will ask all about their routine and how best they usually like to spend their days, so I can continue to make them happy and comfortable when you’re not there.

We honestly couldn’t have been happier with her and wouldn’t hesitate to have her look after Max again. Thank you so much, Liz! 🐾❤️”

“I left my little black pug, Lola, in the care of the lovely Jas and her partner Bobby. From the moment I met them, I felt at ease as they seemed genuinely kind and caring people. Jas sent regular updates and even offered video calls during Lola’s stay, which gave me great peace of mind. Lola came back tired and happy, which says it all. Jas was emotional when returning Lola, and it was clear they had formed a real bond. I know my baby was truly loved and very well cared for during the 8 days she stayed with them. I would absolutely recommend Jas as a pet sitter and will definitely be using her services again in the future.”
