I’ve owned both a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a Miniature Pinscher mix, so I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re a gentle giant, a little bundle of personality, or somewhere in between. I also worked in an animal shelter, where I cared for animals of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. My role included walking, feeding and transporting animals, caring for dogs recovering from surgery, helping new arrivals settle in and providing day-to-day care. Some dogs were full of confidence, while others were nervous, reactive or very high-energy and needed more patience, space and understanding. That experience taught me how important it is to adapt to each animal rather than expecting every dog to behave in the same way. I’m comfortable caring for reactive and high-energy dogs and understand that certain situations — such as meeting other dogs, runners, cyclists or being somewhere busy — can be challenging for them. My cat is named Craig, she is a girl but my boys gave her the name when they were small, they left to go to university and she was stuck with it!! About: My Grandma has had Boxers ever since I was born, I have always loved being around dogs and look forward to having my own. Unfortunately with my current housing situation i’m unable to have my own dog so I always look forward to looking after a dog whenever I can. I have looked after my Grans dogs on several occasions whether it be whilst she is on holiday, or needs to go somewhere dog free for the day. I work mon-thu 8am until 6pm so will be unable to provide care these days, however I would really like to fill up my weekends with a small friend. I have a fenced patio which is perfectly safe for any dog, however I prefer to provide care in your home or just go for walks!

About: We’ve recently lost our boy Jack and now have the time and love to give to another animal. It’s too soon to commit to a new pet but I’d love to take care of your fur babies on a shorter term basis. I live with my parents so there’s only adults in the house, and there’s always someone at the house so your pet would never be alone. I have experience in administering medication from liquid and tablets to eye drops and insulin so I can make sure even those most vulnerable are well looked after. Working from home means that I’m always around so toilet breaks are not a problem, and being based in Bishops Cleeve, there’s plenty of fields for nice long walks. There’s also the option for some shorter walks for more senior visitors. I currently work from home so toilet breaks are no issue. I can take a break at any point to be able to go on a nice long walk or a shorter one if needed. Living with parents also means there is always someone in the house. I have a large, fenced garden and no other animals in the house so if your pet doesn’t like other animals this will be an ideal stay. There are also plenty of routes to take on walks that often have other dog walkers so your pet can also socialise.
About: I’ve looked after so many different breeds of dog for family, friends and neighbours, including my own pug and frenchie. I’m confident in applying topics medication, grooming and bathing I work flexibly full time, working from home 4 days a week. I go on daily hour long lunchtime walks anyway, as well as being free most evenings and weekends I’m comfortable in crating and grooming pets, as well as giving them peace or cuddles when they need or want it. About: I have gained experience in dog care working at my local dog kennels for around a year. Working there, I met a lot of different temperaments and breeds of dog and had to learn about how to personalise your care for the different types of dogs and their needs. I dealt with feeding time, medication, play time and hygiene such as grooming, poo picking and cleaning up after them. Although we never had a dog growing up, I have a lot of love for them and always enjoyed going round to friends and families houses to play with theirs so I get a long with them well. We did however have a cat growing up for a short period. He was an older cat that someone had to sell on and we miss him alot. I feel very comfortable around cats and absolutely love playing with them or just chilling with them. I realise cats don't take as much time to care for as dogs and drop in visits would probably suffice. I am happy to accept cats in my home for longer periods and would charge less accordingly. I have put down five years pet care experience as we have had numerous small pets over the years such as guinea pigs, fish and hamsters which needed attention and care. I have also looked after friends and families dogs, along with working at a dog kennels for a year so I feel it is an apt judgment of my experience. About: I have my own dogs (Patterdale terriers & jack russel). I have grown up in the farming industry, so I spent my childhood riding horses, running through the fields and playing with the dogs. My dogs are the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I I say goodnight to. If I didn’t have dogs, my life would be silent, they create more fun. Im currently studying at uni, i can be flexible for drop in home visits in between of lectures or long breaks. The latest I finish on a Monday and Friday is 6. I do have early morning rugby training(this would only cause inconvenience with overnight stays) as I would have to leave early. Weekends are completely free. Tuesday is free all day with one online lecture in the evening, and Thursday is also free all day with one evening lecture. Wednesday is normally game day,(this can change weekly). Dog walking- I can walk (custom to dog)x a day. I would keep the dog on the lead unless said otherwise by owners, likewise with interacting with other dogs. Drop ins- I can let the dog in the garden, and play for length of time I have free, and top up water and food bowl. Overnight stays- ensure they have been let out before bed, have a little play, and food is eaten.

About: My name is Annabelle and I live in Cheltenham. I have owned dogs as family pets for the last 12 years and grew up around dogs. As a teenager I would walk family and friends dogs daily but unfortunatley couldn't own them due to my parents work schedules!! My children have grown up around dogs (and cats) and show so much affection towards them. I enjoy walks in the woods in our local area as well as travelling further afield to take advantage of longer walks. I have set my availiability calendar to the days that I work from home. I am more than happy to visit your dog daily, I can either walk them alone or with Buddy. Or they can come and play with Buddy whilst I am home. I work with the door open so your dog can be inside and outside as much as they like. I have a fenced garden and the back door is open at all times whilst I am here. Buddy, my dog, will be in the house too so they will have a friend to play with. I have a medium and large crate available should you require your dog crating at anytime.
About: My Grandma has had Boxers ever since I was born, I have always loved being around dogs and look forward to having my own. Unfortunately with my current housing situation i’m unable to have my own dog so I always look forward to looking after a dog whenever I can. I have looked after my Grans dogs on several occasions whether it be whilst she is on holiday, or needs to go somewhere dog free for the day. I work mon-thu 8am until 6pm so will be unable to provide care these days, however I would really like to fill up my weekends with a small friend. I’ve owned both a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a Miniature Pinscher mix, so I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re a gentle giant, a little bundle of personality, or somewhere in between. I also worked in an animal shelter, where I cared for animals of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. My role included walking, feeding and transporting animals, caring for dogs recovering from surgery, helping new arrivals settle in and providing day-to-day care.
