“Mark and Helen looked after Simba as if he were their own dog. We were so happy knowing Simba was being so cared for in every way while we were on holiday. We can't recommend them high enough, we met with Mark and Helen before Simba's stay any worries we had about taking him to stay there were gone completely after chatting with them. Simba's a 10 year old dog set in his ways everything was accommodated with smiles and like it was completely normal. Anyone leaving their dog with Mark and Helen will be as happy as we were. Apart from university, I have no other commitments meaning I am only available on weekdays: Monday/Tuesday- 12:40-4:30, Thursday/Friday- 9:15-12:30. I am fully available over the weekend. About: My Grandma has had Boxers ever since I was born, I have always loved being around dogs and look forward to having my own. Unfortunately with my current housing situation i’m unable to have my own dog so I always look forward to looking after a dog whenever I can. I have looked after my Grans dogs on several occasions whether it be whilst she is on holiday, or needs to go somewhere dog free for the day. About: We’ve recently lost our boy Jack and now have the time and love to give to another animal. It’s too soon to commit to a new pet but I’d love to take care of your fur babies on a shorter term basis. I live with my parents so there’s only adults in the house, and there’s always someone at the house so your pet would never be alone. I have experience in administering medication from liquid and tablets to eye drops and insulin so I can make sure even those most vulnerable are well looked after. Working from home means that I’m always around so toilet breaks are not a problem, and being based in Bishops Cleeve, there’s plenty of fields for nice long walks. There’s also the option for some shorter walks for more senior visitors. I currently work from home so toilet breaks are no issue. I can take a break at any point to be able to go on a nice long walk or a shorter one if needed. Living with parents also means there is always someone in the house. I have a large, fenced garden and no other animals in the house so if your pet doesn’t like other animals this will be an ideal stay. There are also plenty of routes to take on walks that often have other dog walkers so your pet can also socialise.

I also have 4 cats who have been the first encounter for many dogs which I am happy to do with the owner here if your dog hasn’t been around cats before. My children are used to dogs & my partner has 2 Staffordshire bull terriers at his mum’s who my children see regularly. About: I first began taking care of animals when the neighbors would ask my sister and I to watch their cats and small animals while away. Then I finally convinced my parents to get a family dog and that’s where most of my experience is! During covid years, my friend and I have been doing house/pet sitting for family friends for the past year and I enjoy it so much. Halley was brilliant at communicating from the initial enquiry and throughout Trevor's stay, sending updates with pictures too which were really appreciated. About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was 8 years old and have grown up looking after them, we had 5 of our own dogs at my family home, all of 3 different breeds. I am a huge cat and dog lover and love every single animal, looking after and being with animals is my passion! I also have lots of experience with cats after having and looking after them for years! I work full time but I am available at weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening, I can also accommodate to weekday evenings too and boarding but will have to leave early morning in the week. I have a fenced and good sized garden, I have dogs of my own but if your dog needs to be alone, I can also accommodate to this and have them stay at my family house.
