About: I have grown up with dogs of all sizes, from energetic Dachshunds to gentle Golden Retrievers. We have a deep understanding of different breed temperaments and needs. Recently, we raised and trained our own dog, Olive, from a puppy. We’ve invested significant time into her socialisation and positive reinforcement training, ensuring she is well-behaved and 'spoilt rotten' with care. We treat every guest dog with that same level of dedication and love. Please message before booking as I may have more availability then stated on rover :) I work full time, and my partner has a hybrid work schedule. To ensure your dog receives full attention, we only host pets on the days my partner works from home or I am fully available. We provide a structured routine including two long walks per day, plenty of backyard playtime, and daily mental enrichment activities like lick mats or puzzle toys to keep them happy and engaged. Our home is a fully dog-friendly environment designed with safety as a top priority. We have a large, securely fenced garden where guest dogs can play safely under supervision. Inside, the house is kept secure and free of hazards. Since we already have two friendly dogs, we are experienced in maintaining a calm, social, and supervised space, ensuring all pets feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay.

About: Avid adventurer and animal lover, you should book me if you are looking flexible, knowledgable dog lover!! I believe in continuing your dogs routine and following their schedule. Additionally, with all the training I've undergone with my dog you can rest assured that I have experience in long leads, whistles, clickers and dealing with all types of behaviours. I am the proud owner of my English bull terrier named Gavin, who as the breed is known for is extremely stubborn and picky with food. Over the years, my patience and knowledge in handling difficult behaviour in dogs has tenfold and I now feel extremely confident in reading dogs body language. With me you can be confident that your dog will have a busy day involving a nature walk, lots of play and food enrichment activities 🐾🐾 I am also pet first aid accredited (CPD) and working on a dog training qualification, so there’s a good chance that if you are having some trouble with behaviour that I might be able to give you some tips to progress! I am currently displaying availability for the holiday period, I am university student so want to make sure i will have enough time to give your pups as much of my time as they require! However I am also open to weekend availability so just give me a message and we can likely make an arrangement I can accommodate to nearly every type of behaviour and lifestyle need. From crate to bed, raw hand feeding to kibble in a bowl. I am extremely outdoorsy so there’s a good chance that i will be taking your pup on a good hike! Gavin prefers a play so i am also very accustomed to boisterous play. I understand that needs vary from dog to dog so the experience your dog receives will be tailored to them! I will only take one dog at a time (unless siblings) to ensure your dogs have the best experience possible

About: I’ve always had pets in my family and grew up with dogs from all backgrounds. I have no fear of dealing with stinky accidents or litter trays, and especially like a little cuddle and bit of a play when it comes to dropping by! I have my own mini schnauzer and 2 cats so I’m used to all different pet personalities, and reading their body language to know when is the right time to approach etc. I’ll always take the time to get to know your pet and make them comfortable with me, I won’t just drop and go, they deserve to get to know the person who’s popping by! I’m an animal lover through and through. If you have any questions, please shoot me a message! I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week - and can work from anywhere with wifi and a desk! I can be flexible, and we can have a chat on the best times for me to drop by! Happy to provide day sits, and I have my own extremely friendly mini schnauzer so, if your pet would like a play friend for the day as well, we can figure something out! Shoot me message! I will take the time to get to know your pet when I first come by - I won’t just drop and go! I’ll make sure they know I’m someone they can trust and, depending on their nature, happy to give them cuddles and love, or give them their own space to thrive!

About: I have been involved with dogs all my life, although Max, my 5yr. old Labrador is only my third dog. Max, who I have trained to be an excellent gun dog, is friendly with all dogs and people. However, he is intact, so ladies in, or close to season would be unfair to all parties. My situation, just 100yds. from Wyre Forest allows me to give your dog a new and exciting walking experience without any driving, with Max as a very friendly companion. In addition your dog will have the run of my medium sized secure garden at all times with all day opportunity for toilet ops. If required, I can provide basic training-sit, stay, recall, heel, etc. I am a retired pensioner with a dog so my daily/weekly routine is almost entirely centred on my home and my dog. An additional dog would make very little difference to this routine with the bonus of company for each. My garden is fenced and dog proof. Although my dog is walked without a lead in the forest, all visitors would be on a lead, and a 20mtr running line would be available if required. At night, my visitors would sleep in my conservatory, with water nearby and be able to access the garden if necessary.

About: I’m an experienced and attentive dog carer with over 10 years of hands-on experience owning and looking after dogs of different personalities and energy levels. Dogs are a big part of daily life in our home — we currently have three happy, playful resident dogs who are friendly and used to sharing their space with visiting dogs. We also have two cats, and all of our dogs live calmly alongside them, so visiting dogs must be comfortable around cats. Your dog will be treated as part of the family, not kept separately or kenneled. I work from home full-time, which means dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Exercise is a priority here. Our dogs usually enjoy around 2.5 hours of walks, play, and outdoor time each day, but I always adapt routines to suit each dog’s age, fitness level, and individual needs — whether that’s energetic adventures or slower, relaxed strolls. We have a large, secure garden for safe play and downtime between walks, giving dogs lots of space to explore and relax. To make sure every stay is safe and enjoyable, I require a meet-and-greet before confirming bookings. This allows us to introduce the dogs properly and ensure everyone gets along well, helping create a calm and positive environment for all dogs in the home. I work from home full time, so the dogs in my care are rarely, if ever, left alone. The dogs in our household get 2.5 hours of exercise per day, plus plenty of opportunities for play, or chilling in the garden. Our house is a dog house - your dog can have full access to all sofas, etc, if that's what they're used to at home. I have a large, securely fenced garden. Your dogs care will be adapted to suit their needs and personality. We prioritise fun, alongside a safe sense of freedom. We let dogs be dogs, within the boundaries of what is safe and comfortable.

About: I live in a 3 bed semi detached house on Lea Castle. Just an average family of pet lovers. Plenty of fields and woodland around to take your fur baby on a walk if required. All my life I’ve been around animals whether it’s cats, dogs, horses, mice, hamsters, rabbits etc. I’ll listen to your rules and try to make our home, a home from home experience for your baby. If you allow them on the sofa, I will certainly have a cuddle on the sofa! I only work 2 days a week so I have 5 days to offer full care to your fur baby. If I had enough notice I would take holiday from work. I have a secure garden that your animal can easily access. I’m available for walks as many times as you request. The house can be quite busy with children of all ages but that just means more loves to give. It will be me solely providing care of you fur babies. Your promo code gives pet owners new to Rover £15 off their first booking- Promo Code: KERIC68210 I have a fenced garden and no other animals to share with. I live in a small new estate and there is only one other neighbour that has a dog. I have porcelain tiles in my garden and they’re designed to keep paws cool. If you’re needing home help we can work together to build a package you think is right for your animals.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — at one point my family had five at once, from energetic Border Collies to sweet Cocker Spaniels. Growing up in a house full of wagging tails taught me patience, confidence, and a genuine love for caring for dogs of all shapes and personalities. Today, I share my home with our family Sproodle, who keeps me smiling and on my toes. After 20 years working in civil engineering, I made the decision to follow my heart and become a full‑time dog walker and pet carer. It’s the best move I’ve ever made. I bring reliability, calm energy, and a true passion for making every dog feel safe, happy, and understood. Whether your pup loves long adventures, gentle strolls, or just some company and affection, I’m here to make sure they’re treated like one of my own. I’d love to meet your dog and become someone they’re excited to see. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine. Because I’m out walking dogs every day, your dog will join me on one or two of my regular walks, getting plenty of exercise, stimulation and social time. When we’re home, they won’t be left alone — my wife works from home, so your dog will always have company from her and our friendly Sproodle between walks. Your dog will be welcomed into a relaxed, family‑oriented home with plenty of space to settle in and feel comfortable. We have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time, and inside the house there’s room for both peaceful naps and full‑on zoomies. We share our home with our gentle 5‑year‑old Sproodle, my wife, and our two children (12 and 9), all of whom are used to being around dogs and love having four‑legged visitors. We aim to make your dog feel like part of the family from the moment they arrive. At night, most dogs choose to sleep in our bedroom or at the foot of our bed—whatever helps them feel most at ease. If you prefer your dog to be crated, we’re more than happy to accommodate that too. Above all, we want your dog to feel at home while they’re missing you. They’ll have company, comfort, and a calm environment where they can relax, play, and enjoy their stay.

About: I have grown up around animals as my parents have always had an interest in exotic pets. My dad was the “crazy one” who has had snakes, birds and rabbits through my life that I have helped care for and my mother has had more usual pets like cats, fish and dogs. As a teenager I followed in my dad’s footsteps and got 3 ferrets. Due to the way I was brought up and my current job at the West Midlands Safari Park I have no fear with any pets- this includes spiders/snails and snakes. I’m currently working part time through the week so I have plenty of spare time to play, sit, feed and walk your pets at your home or mine. I can feed, walk and play with your pets. I will only give medication if it is in a powder:tablet form. I will not give injectable medication.

Austen did a great job looking after our anxious older dog, Ruby. He was very open to what she needed and she settled well in a short time, despite initial nerves. As a 1st time using a pet sitter, this has been a great intro and we will be using Austen again. Thank you to both Austen & Rover for giving us a great service.

About: I live in a 3 bedroom house with my partner. We are a child free household with a large fenced garden. We are parents to three miniature daschunds Ozzy, George and Jett so your furry friends will have a lot of companionship. I am a primary teacher in a village school therefore I am not available in the week unless it is after 4:30 where I can drop in after. Myself and partner will both be home at weekends but I will be responsible for the dogs. I have a fenced in garden lots of space for dogs to roam and my 3 dogs are incredibly friendly with other dogs. Your pet will have all comforts available and a calming, quiet environment.

Lorna was brilliant and very reassuring. She also took the booking at very short notice. Her dogs are gorgeous too and she made sure that Riley was comfortable with them and looked after him really well. Her farm is lovely too and loads of space. She communicated regularly and he had a really nice time. He was ready for a snooze when he got back. Thank you Lorna!

About: I have been surrounded by dogs , cats and other pets all my life. For nearly 30 years I have owned retired greyhounds and whippets as well as cats and chickens. As well as my own pets I have also boarded dogs for friends and family. I have experience of both puppies and elderly pets requiring extra care or medication to be administered. I am also no stranger to sharing the bed with a furry four footed companion! Having recently lost my own elderly whippet I can offer a pet free house ideal for pets who may need somewhere a little quieter or are not used to living with other animals. I can also provide boarding for multiple pets from the same household. I am a full time for caregiver for my disabled husband so I am at home all day. No animals would be left unattended for more than 30mins. I have a secure fenced garden and can offer long country walks or simply a comfy spot in front of the fire. Your pet would be the only boarder at the time meaning that I can can accommodate their needs and stick to there usual routines as much as possible.

Really reluctant to give Jennifer a review as, selfishly, I don’t want her to get too busy. She takes care of our puppy as if he was her own. He loves spending the day with her and she prioritises looking after him above anything else, finding exciting stuff to do and going the extra mile to develop him and keep me up to date with each day’s adventures. We feel exceptionally lucky that the very first use of Rover has ended up with Dexter meeting Jennifer and Goose. Wouldn’t hesitate to leave Dex with her overnight, either.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Wyre Forest

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Wyre Forest on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,202 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Wyre Forest. About 86% of Wyre Forest sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Wyre Forest commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
