I work from home full time with flexibility in my role. My husband is also usually home 2-3 days midweek. This means dogs in our care will get plenty of fuss and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a spacious 4 bedroom adult only home with our 4 year old (female, spayed) labrador. Visiting dogs will usually have the run of the house, unless you prefer otherwise. We have a decent sized mature garden with grass, trees and shrubs and it's securely fenced/gated. Happy to crate visiting dogs /follow their usual routine as far as possible (our girl is quite relaxed so this isn't a problem).

Information Louise S. would like to know about your pet
It would be lovely to have an idea of your dogs usual routine and preferences, so we can make them as welcome as possible. Knowing what commands your dog is used to is also important. Please let us know if you're comfortable with your dog to be allowed on furniture/beds, also whether they are allowed the odd treat (our girl.is very trim and this will tend to be small pieces of veg/fruit with the occasional dog biscuit)
A typical day
We have a good sized secure garden and will usually take breaks from work to go out and have a play with ball or tug toys. Backing onto a park with a secure dog compound we usually go for a morning/midmorning walk to chase the ball or meet up with other dogs for play. After work (usually 4-5pm) we will go for a longer sniffy walk, either round local streets or a local common or woodland. Our dog is fine in the car, so while we have parks within a 5 minute walk we will often drive for up to 20 minutes to give a nice variety of walks. We have a large SUV with spacious boot which can fit 2-3 dogs comfortably. Our own dog loves a frozen Kong/lucky mat and we do other mental enrichment activities too as well as rotating toys

Pet care experience
I've owned or looked after dogs since I was a teenager. From walking grooming and feeding our family labrador in the 1980s, to our current 4 year old female lab. We do lots of reciprocal dog care with family and friends so are well used to doggy house guests. Comfortable with small medium and larger dogs.
Reviews

Ozzy loved his stay with Louise. We received daily updates and he had lovely walks. I would highly recommend

Thank you so much Louise. It's the first time I've left Fudge, you looked after her so well. She had a great time. I wouldn't hesitate to ask you to have her again, or recommend you to others. Thank you once more I'm sure we'll see you again. Love Jackie and Fudge 🐶🙂

So grateful to Louise for looking after our dog so well. She was kind and caring, and she obviously has a great love for animals. Communion was excellent, sending updates and answering our queries promptly. I can highly recommend this sitter and we will definitely be using again. Thank you.

Molly had a lovely day with Louise and Dee, she settled in straight away. Received updates throughout the day and she went on a lovely walk. The photos and video provided were absolutely wonderful, thank you both. Highly recommend.
