About: I have had dogs all my life, most recently my last two dogs needed medication including insulin injections. Very experienced looking after dogs that need daily medication. My dog was an old boy when we had to say goodbye to him, so I understand the needs of senior dogs. I am retired and my wife works from home in pet insurance. Our days are spent around the home going out for shopping, but there is always someone home. I did do Rover for a while before, but stopped due to health. So I did have feedback but unfortunately not now. We have a lovely large fenced garden with a bit aviary with 40 budgies. Dogs do love to lie and watch them. We have a park close by for walks, however, your pet will never be off the lead at the park even if recall is good. Your pet will be treated like a member of our family and will not be forced to sleep on the floor unless this is what you want. They will be allowed on furniture and upstairs.
About: I've always had dogs at home since childhood, recently lost my old border terrier and finding the place a bit quiet! Senior dogs well taken care of lots of patience here, also younger dogs make for more interesting walks! I WFH part time, so can easily fit in around visitors needs, up at 5 most days so plenty of time in the morning for walks etc, live near a large country park with plenty of space. I have a fenced garden with a small enclosure for my Tortoise, he's 19 years old and quite happy mooching around, my Dog Otie is quite friendly with visiting dogs and is good company, he also respects the need for personal space, we are quite accommodating!

“With my sons hols coinciding this was our first time we had ever had a sitter to look after any of our pets. We selected Rebbecca because of her excellent previous reviews and also been local to our home. We had some concerns as our cat Joey is getting very old and is a fussy eater and ican have rhe occasional ‘accident’. (Which he did!!!!) All we can say is Rebbecca was excellent, over the 4 days we booked her for, she went betond our expectations, even sending us daily visit reports and images taking away all the concerns we had allowing my wifeespecially to enjoy her break knowing our familly pet was in excellent care. That leaves us with nothing more than praise and would recomend her to anybody looking for a quality pet carer, we will definately use her again”

About: We had cats when i was very young, but they were gone by the time i was 11-12. For what its worth, I am good at cleaning even if I don't particularly enjoy it haha, and cats have always liked me because I'm pretty calm and let them keep to themselves if they want. Unfortunately i dont have any experience with giving medication, but if it's simple enough and the cat is easy to work with medication wise, I'm happy to discuss it at least (IE ear drops)

About: I have always loved animals and been around them since I was a little girl. We have all sorts from gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. About: My aim is simple: to give your dog a happy, comfortable home-from-home while you're away. Dogs have been part of my life since childhood. I've shared my home with Gypsy, a 35kg German Shepherd, Dark Knight (DK), a 30kg Belgian Shepherd, and today Sunnie, my friendly 2-year-old German Shepherd x Sproodle. I particularly enjoy caring for larger and more active breeds. I've also looked after friends' Border Collies and boarded a 35kg German Shepherd alongside Sunnie, so I'm experienced with intelligent, energetic dogs and comfortable walking multiple strong breeds together. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs. Dark Knight had epilepsy, so I'm confident administering oral medication, recognising seizures and remaining calm during emergencies. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a gentler pace, my aim is always the same: to help them feel relaxed, secure and right at home. I work from home and am around for most of the day, so dogs receive plenty of companionship and supervision. Apart from short trips such as food shopping or visiting the gym a few times each week, I'm at home and can easily adapt my routine to suit your dog's normal feeding, medication and exercise schedule. I only board dogs from one household at a time, helping to create a calm, low-stress environment. Friends and family are forever joking that I care more about the dogs than the humans, and honestly… they might be right. About: I grew up with dogs in the home, even spent a few years on farmland, so I have experience with dogs ranging from a chihuahua or jack russell all the way up to big huskies and labradours. Having grown up with them I'd like to say my intuition is good when it comes to dogs, In particular I'm good at correcting little things like pulling too hard on a walk, or being too boisterous when playing. But my main concern is actually just to make sure the dogs have a good time, my view of it is I'll correct them if they do something wrong but ultimately I'm not here to be a dictator to them either. I'm also quite calm and patient, so if there is a dog who has troubling behaviour at times, I'm happy to work with that. Not currently working, my dream job is actually to be a teacher, I have 4 going on 5 years experience working with kids, but obviously its not always easy to get a non temporary job in that industry at my age. I'm relatively free, but I like to have a good idea of when I'm doing X thing. I'm happy to work around your own schedule if anything changes, within reason. If something important comes up, no worries, or if you give me an hour or twos notice, thats also fine. I do travel on a bike though, and when discussing availability I will have to factor that in. Unfortunately I live in a flat so I wont be doing any pet care in my home. I have done pet care at the owners home before, so i have experience. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all around and absolutely love them, the past year I have worked for a dog walking company. But would like more freedom and have decided to go out on my own. On longer walks I always take a bottle of water with me for my dog and allow them to rest in the shade. I am aware of other people and animals when taking my dog on a walk, only letting them off when I’m in a quieter area as not to disturb others. Trust - I will keep owners updated on our walks, communicating effectively their pets behaviour and any problems that might have occurred. Environment - Although living on a busy road, I am not far from a park where there are large fields and paths for my dog to walk and explore, taking them there for long walks in the summer. Near my house there are also shorter routes that are near grassy areas. All these areas are popular for dog walkers.

We live in the countryside with a large, fully fenced garden, countryside walks just yards from our home, and an acre paddock where dogs can safely run and play. I tailor care to each pet’s usual routine, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or quieter time to relax. We have an extra large crate available for dogs who are used to sleeping in one, but dogs are also very welcome to sleep on the sofa and make themselves at home. our 2 year old German Pointer certainly does! My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy, whether in my home or following an owner’s preferences.
