I’m a calm, experienced dog carer with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work freelance, so I’m home most days and able to give dogs plenty of attention, routine, and companionship. I’m especially good with anxious, sensitive, or older dogs who need a steady, reassuring presence.

Would highly recommend Demi. She was very welcoming upon arrival and showing round the house and advising how she decompress Luna and get her settled in. Sent regular updates including photos/videos whilst we were away. And when picking Luna up advised how she was and how she settled in very quickly, which would could tell from the photos shared, as well as how happy Luna was after the stay. Will definitely use Demi again for any future stays.
First time using Rover, very impressed with the services provided & availability at such notice. Demi was fabulous & informative guiding me on how Rover works. I recommend Demi she was kind & attentive to Fudge who has not been left before other than family. She took him on regular walks, good communication, bathed him & WhatsApp great photos which helped my anxiety. We also paid extra for the pick up & drop off service. Thank you so much Demi, definitely will use you again 😊
We are so happy to have found Demi as our dog sitter. She took the time to come and meet Ralf in his own environment before his stay and we were given the opportunity to go and see where he would be staying too. Demi had resources planned to help him settle and he was truly spoilt for choices, his needs were anticipated above and beyond what we expected. Ralf had a playmate during his stay and both their needs were carefully matched and met. I’m sure this helped Ralf feel even more at home with Demi. We received photos and videos which was lovely, and updates on his return. We would most definitely book Demi again in the future.
I left my cocker spaniel, Max, with Demi for five nights and couldn’t have asked for better care. Demi is a lovely, enthusiastic person who clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. Max had a fantastic week with her, and it was great receiving regular photos and videos which kept me updated and reassured while I was away. I’d happily recommend Demi to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to look after their dog and would definitely use her again. 🐾
Demi and Harley hit it off straight away. She is so kind and caring and we have no hesitation in recommending her. Harley had a wonderful time as we got regular photos and he just looked like he was having a great holiday. We have already booked him in for a longer 5 night break, such is our confidence in Demi.
Demi was BRILLIANT. She was really accommodating, took our pup on great walks and super friendly! We highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work freelance in the arts so my schedule is very flexible and I’m home most days. This means I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine and give dogs plenty of time, attention, and consistency. I also work at a doggy day care, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I can often accept last-minute and short-notice bookings, especially on weekdays.

My home is calm, secure, and dog-friendly, with a fenced garden and plenty of indoor space. I live in a two-bedroom house, so dogs can have their own quiet area if they need space to settle or decompress. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding routines, walks, medication, play, and enrichment. To keep pets safe, relaxed, and comfortable.

A typical day
I like to tailor each day to the dog’s energy levels and personality. This usually includes a mix of walks, play, enrichment activities, and downtime. For dogs who enjoy longer walks and are comfortable in the car, I often visit my favourite local spots such as Bromsgrove Park and Warley Park. For others, we keep things closer to home with gentle walks, sniffing, and relaxed play.
