About: I have been taking care of different types of pets for the past 15 years. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, spiders. All animals are important and deserve all the attention and care. I currently work part-time and have morning and late afternoon availability, as well as weekends and full days during half terms. I'm sure we can arrange a good time for both. Providing the most comfortable and safe environment possible for your pet. Proposing a plan according to each of your pet's individualities to ensure their well-being.

3. Sarah J.

“Sarah is helpful and understanding of my older cat's needs. She has helped with administering medicene, even suggested a dietary regime that really helps. My shy little girl has really warmed to Sarah and now accepts treats and strokes. Thank you Sarah.”

About: Hello 👋🏻, May 2025 Update - Currently only taking on shorter Rover bookings (up to two nights boarding) still happy to offer daycare/drop-ins and walks when I am available. I have grown up with cats and dogs and now have my own dog, River, who is 3 years old. River enjoys having doggy play dates and making new friends! Need someone to help care for your pet? Give your dog a holiday whilst you're away through the home boarding service. Your dog will stay in a safe, comfortable home - rather than a kennel. Boarding services cover up to 24 hours and need to be booked with a one hour drop off and collection window. Need someone to care for your pet whilst you’re busy in the day? Take the stress out of worrying about your dog by using the daycare service. Your dog will have a day of fun, walks, snuggles + play. Need someone to pop in and check on your pet? I am trustworthy and reliable and can make a visit for tailored feeding, play + interaction and toilet breaks. This service covers addresses within a 6mile radius of my home address. Need someone to help with walking your pet? I can help with both one-off or scheduled weekly walks and aim to return them home happy and tired. (Please only book the walking service if you need support with walking your dog, if I need to enter your home to feed your dog you will need to book the drop-in service as well). I am DBS checked for your peace of mind, and will send regular pupdates. I have a flexible working schedule which allows me to have great flexibility to care for your dog, I work from home during the week and with Children's Services around my Rover bookings. I provide home from home care so will have a maximum of three dogs at one time, this includes our dog River. I’m happy to pick up and drop off your dog, if required, this is up to a maximum distance of a 15 minute drive from Shrewsbury and this can be added through the pick up and drop off service. At home I have a fully fenced garden and your dog will have access to the whole home and garden. I am happy for dogs to be on furniture, however, I do not sleep with dogs in the bed at night and they will sleep downstairs. There’s plenty of space for you to bring a crate if your dog is crate trained. Please be assured that your pet will not be placed in the crate unnecessarily. Myself, my husband and our two children live here with River so your dog will be kept busy and well-loved whilst they stay with us.

5. Jennifer S.
“Jennifer has looked after our dog, Tia, numerous times, and Tia has always been happy to see her. Jennifer quickly understood Tia's needs, requirements, and challenges when they first met, and I felt there was a quick bond between them. I have always felt safe leaving Tia in her hands and have no doubt recommending her to others. Her love for animals extends beyond dogs, as she has fostered cats in the past. Taking on litters of kittens to caring for cats that needed to be in isolation.”

6. Rhian L.
“Rhian has a natural affinity with animals. She has looked after my cat several times when we’ve been on holiday as she’s not a very social cat and hates the cattery. Rhian visits every day while we’re away to feed Cinti and Cinti will actually allow herself to be petted by Rhian. I know that I can trust her to care for Cinti and that if, heaven forbid, Cinti was ill or injured, Rhian would deal with it swiftly and appropriately and keep me updated on the situation.”

7. Jessica J.

“Was lovely with our kitten. Provided fab updates. Would recommend.”

8. Maisie B.
“Maisie has looked after my dog a few times whilst I’ve been away from home now and she’s been great each time! Always very reliable and I know I can trust her to take care of my dog as if it was her own! Will always go to her in the future now.”

9. Shannon Louise E.
“All the time I’ve known Shannon, she’s been very caring and considerate towards any animals/pets, especially dogs. Having a dog herself you can see it’s a real passion/interest. She’s very reliable and punctual so you can always count on her.”

10. Liv G.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, participating in lots of dog shows, pet sitting for family/friends and always loved getting outdoors with any four legged friend. I also work full time for a Premium Fresh Dog Food company and recently completed a Level 3 Award in Canine Nutrition achieving a Higher Distinction Grade. I work from home the majority of the time and in a dog friendly office once a week, so if your dog(s) are social able with other dogs and people I would love to bring them in with me for the day. I also have experience in looking after stray dogs in Asia of different breeds and sizes and love making dogs lives a happier place on earth as they do for us. I am also used to walking a variety of breeds of dogs so would feel comfortable walking your dog during my visit which would not be at an extra charge. As for my rates, I charge £35 up to 7 hours and £45 up to 10 hours. If you require less than 10 hours of sitting let me know and I will adjust the rate for you. I am currently unable to sit for your dogs in my own home so it would be in your own home only at the moment. I am open to day sitting or overnight stays so let me know what suits you best and I will be happy to accommodate. As for dog walking I’m flexible to walk your pups early mornings 6-9am or evenings 6-9pm aswell as availability on the weekends. I always check with yourself if there any rules or safety requirements in your home (enclosed garden). I always stay in contact with you via WhatsApp/Rover and send photo updates to ensure you have that trust and reassurance you need.

About: I train, breed and have fostered guide dogs for a number of years. We love all animals and offer a safe loving and fun environment. I'm at home working as a carer, i also craft from home. Dogs are my life alongside my husband. We have lots of free time to spend with your furbaby. We have a secure fenced garden full of toys and play areas with cctv. Our 2 Labradors love having company. We offer plenty of enrichment for those unbearable hot days where it's not safe to take out for walks due to the heat. I have plenty of time, energy to spend with my own girls who love to spend time with newbie playmates. Ball chucks and long walks are a must in our daily routine. I also hold a Enhanced DBS as I volunteer craft days for the local council and also do Facepainting for children, my calendar fits around these activities.

13. Ella J.
About: I have adored and been around dogs all my life , both mine own and other dogs I've been trusted to look after. I'm experience handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. From puppies to elderly dogs needing special care, . I have attended dog training and behaviour sessions in order to better understand individual and varieties of dog personalities and there needs. I currently work part time in a shop, but its only one day a week 12-4ish so still plenty of time or visits and walks. Apart from that im a practicing artist and writer working from home, so am available and happy to look after a dog most of the time. My own dog lives in my home so it is a dog-proof and safe place, my dog is a very friendly young spaniel, so if you dog needed to come to my house that would be no problem at all. However i would be inclined to want to look after a dog in its own home to avoid them becoming anxious or overwhelming both dogs. Also having a dog myself means i know some good walking spots and where its safe to let them off leads!

About: My wife and I have cared for pets since we were children. We treat our dogs like human children and take their safety very seriously. We work from home and take long walks in the surrounding countryside. Our 3 dogs (2 senior dachshunds and a 4 year old Belgian shepherd) are very friendly and happy to provide company for other well behaved dogs. We have a fully fenced garden and the option to crate dogs if necessary. Our dogs spend all day inside with us when not being walked. We have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and go the extra mile to put anxious dogs at ease. We like to arrange a meet and greet ahead of time and are happy to be flexible. Looking forward to meeting you 😊 We both work from home and are able to board or sit most days during the week and on the weekend. Long or regular sits welcome. We have a large fenced garden and never leave dogs outside or unattended for long periods of time. Dogs spend all their time with us.

18. Hannah H.
“Hannah has worked in the Veterinary World since she was a young teenager. She began volunteering at a local Vet Practice for the whole of a Summer holidays. She loved this and I saw her grow in confidence around all sorts of animals. She also worked unpaid after School. This Practice then offered her a full-time position after her GCSES. Now a qualified RVN, with management experience, in this field for over half of her life, she continues to excel in caring for animals. I wouldn't be able to have cats without her support, as I need her experience and 'down to earth' care to help me. She often cares for my cats when I'm away with work. Going that extra mile to look after them.”
