“Kas looked after our little girl (Zuki) for a night recently first time with Kas, no problems Kas sent us photos of Zuki relaxing and on walks, nothing was too much trouble even with our diva dog :) Kas is obviously very experienced with dogs, and made us feel at ease leaving Zuki with her, thanks Kas see you again soon.”

“My Frenchie had a wonderful time with Helen and her family. She loved playing with the other dogs and having group walks. Helen was very accommodating even down to letting Purdey sleep in her bedroom as she is used to at home. Thank you so much Helen it's so reassuring to have someone to care for my dog when we are on trips away.”

“Wilf has had another great stay with Lucie! The weather has been really hot and Lucie took great care of him. We’ve had lots of updates and photos. We highly recommend Lucie.”

“I would recommend Ben to anyone. He's a lovely, calm and relaxed person. He treated my dogs with the utmost care and patience. One of my fur kids is an elderly boy of 17 years and I believe he couldn’t have been in safer hands with Ben. Will definitely book him again.”

“Fernanda and her family were absolutely amazing with Buddy, he had a wonderful time with them and she sent regular photograph. Some videos of him interacting with the whole family. The whole experience has been super. I would highly recommend her as a sitter.”

“My fur babies have never had a sleepover away from home before, I was so nervous as I know they’re not the easiest to deal with. Natalia and her partner made this whole process a delight, we had two meet and greets (purely to calm my nerves) and both times they showed so much care towards both Melo and Ozzie. From the minute we dropped them off to have our wedding weekend I felt so at ease. They updated me with pics both days and the pooches looked like they had so much fun! I would 100% book these two again! A massive thank you for taking care of my babies just like I would”

“Abbi was so accommodating and obviously a real dog lover, so it made it easy to leave Leila in her safe hands. She was very easy to communicate with, both before and during the booking. Leila has come home very tired after obviously being very well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much Abbi!”

“5🌟 plus Honey has had the most amazing weekend, not only was she walked, cuddled and loved to bits, she also travelled to Milton Keynes to join in the family Mother’s Day celebrations, really has been treated like a princess all weekend, so many lovely photos of her also so I was able to see how she was enjoying her weekend away. Honey loves attention and can get separation anxiety, Emily was a superstar in giving so much reassurance and Honey soon settled and enjoyed her play date also with Lottie the beautiful cocker puppy to start off her stay, she really has had the most wonderful time x”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always loved caring for them. About: I have been passionate about caring for cats from a young age, having grown up with them as cherished family pets and having my own very spoiled princess Fran now, My experience with cats has given me a deep understanding of their unique behaviors, personalities, and needs. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for a variety of cats, allowing me to fine-tune my approach to ensuring they are happy, healthy, and comfortable. I take pride in treating every cat with the same love and care I would give to my own. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, quiet companionship, grooming, or needs medication, I am committed to making them feel safe and well cared for in your absence. I know how important it is for your cat to feel comfortable and stress-free, and I strive to provide that level of attention and care.

“Lisa was great looking after our cat, we were a little nervous leaving him for the first time but we had updates along the way which helped. We have come home to a very happy kitty! ”

“Fernanda is a lovely lady with a clear passion for pets. This was my first booking with her, for a couple of drop in visits for my cats, one of whom is very shy. It was great to get updates about her arrival and departure, along with pictures and videos, especially of my shy boy coming out of hiding for a fuss from her. Feel secure in the knowledge that they were in safe hands while I was away, and won't hesitate to book her again. Thank you!”

“Thank you Philippa. First time I have left my 2 fur boys without anyone at the house. They are too free range to put in cattery. Liquorice enjoyed her drop ins and so did Clint. A huge relief and peace of mind with someone so trust worthy. Loved the updates on the app. Thank you again”

“Sarah has done an amazing job of looking after my two cats She was so reliable and always on hand with any queries I had. Sarah kept me updated with photos and general info. She went above and beyond and I'm truly grateful finding her. Thank you Sarah 🥰”

About: I’ve owned many cats in my lifetime. I’ve owned lap cats who love to be carried around (see picture) and rescues who’d rather be left alone to watch the world go by. I love them all. Dogs are wonderful, but the love of a cat is something else… Wilbur (pictured) has had a few medical issues and isn’t a fan of medication. I’ve had to administer eye drops, skin creams and pills which he definitely isn’t a fan of. I’m also not afraid of a litter box.

“Wonderful - thank you so much, Jess! It was such a relief knowing Bear was in safe hands the whole time I was away. You seem like a very lovely and caring person and ideal for this job. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you again!”

About: I train, breed and have fostered guide dogs for a number of years. We love all animals and offer a safe loving and fun environment. I'm at home working as a carer, i also craft from home. Dogs are my life alongside my husband. We have lots of free time to spend with your furbaby. We have a secure fenced garden full of toys and play areas with cctv. Our 2 Labradors love having company. We offer plenty of enrichment for those unbearable hot days where it's not safe to take out for walks due to the heat. I have plenty of time, energy to spend with my own girls who love to spend time with newbie playmates. Ball chucks and long walks are a must in our daily routine. I also hold a Enhanced DBS as I volunteer craft days for the local council and also do Facepainting for children, my calendar fits around these activities.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and dedication I bring to every dog I look after. I’ve been a dog sister (my mum's dog) for over 10 years, so I understand dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and attentive, and I always treat each dog as if they were my own. I’m fit, healthy, and active, and I walk every day, which means your dog will get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time tailored to their energy level. I’m confident handling dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including seniors who need extra patience and gentler care. I’m naturally calm, affectionate, and loving (dog kisses are always welcome!), and I focus on creating a safe, happy, and stress-free environment. Whether it’s long walks, companionship, or simply making sure your dog feels secure and loved while you’re away, you can trust that they’ll be in caring, capable hands with me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full time as a teacher, so I’m available for dog walking in the evenings and on weekends. I already walk daily, so fitting pet walks into my schedule is easy and consistent. Dog boarding is available on weekends only, which allows me to give dogs my full attention, plenty of exercise, and lots of companionship without weekday time constraints. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure every pet receives dependable, high-quality care, love, and attention during the times I commit to. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. I always take time to understand a dog’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, training cues, and any special requirements so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They receive plenty of love, supervision, regular walks, playtime, and a calm, safe environment. I keep routines consistent and make sure dogs have their own space to relax while also enjoying lots of attention and affection. In a pet owner’s home, I respect your space and follow your instructions closely. I focus on maintaining your dog’s normal routine, providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and any basic care needed. I’m reliable, tidy, and trustworthy, and I always make sure pets feel happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Jess has ensured our cat has been cared for whilst we had a short break away. Great peace of mind, Jess adds photos and important info to let us know how she is! Would highly recommend.”

“Gemma was absolutely wonderful looking after our cats. She kept us updated with photos and videos, which was so reassuring while we were away. One of our cats is quite nervous and usually very unsure with new people, so we were a bit worried about how she’d cope. But Gemma was so gentle and patient with her, and we came home to a calm and happy Luna. Both cats were content and relaxed upon our return, not to mention our home being kept spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Gemma again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!”

“Carla was fab, the cats were well looked after and even my timid girl Sylvia showed her face for a photo. Carla went above and beyond and I will definitely use her again and will happily recommend her to my cat loving friends.”

“Sarah did an excellent job looking after our cats! She sent us updates and/or photos every day and she even put our bin out to be collected for us and got it back in! Thank you very much :D”

About: I have grown up with dogs and pets my whole life and they are welcome in my house. Upstairs too!! Please get in touch if you need my help I have just moved to just outside Shrewsbury and am available to help anytime. I have two children who are boarding school. So I love to keep busy with exercising pets and snuggling on the sofa I live on a farm and have plenty of walking options. Wrekin and haughmond are just around the corner and I have my own dog that I walk daily

About: We live in a beautiful rural area with meadow and forest walks on our doorstep. Having just lost our 2 beautiful pooches at the age of 14 we have an empty home that needs the patter of doggy footsteps! Recently we have become grandPAWents to a beautiful blue staff called Bruno. Our son’s dog, who has just had a week with us whilst he was on holiday. He bought us so much joy and laughter, which has led us to join Rover. My husband works from home. His office backs on to our garden so pooches can have free rein whilst he is working. We are at home most weekends and enjoy walking/hiking when weather permits. We live in a rural area just 10 mins from Shrewsbury centre, so close to amenities and vets if needed. Forest and meadow walks are on our doorstep. We have a large country lodge with plenty of room for your pet to explore inside. Wooden floors and machine washable rugs in case of any ‘accidents’. We have a dog friendly local walk where everyone brings their pooches to play together just a 10 min car ride away if your pet likes to be sociable. We currently have no dogs of our own.., too soon following the loss of our cockerpoo dogs Monty in December and Archie in Feb. Both from the same litter aged 14. They had a wonderful life here. Previously we have had golden retrievers and Labrador’s. I have a fenced garden and we are happy to crate your pet or not crate.. however you have it set up in your home. We can provide a loving, safe, and warm environment for your pet giving you peace of mind whilst you are away

About: I've had dogs for the past 8 years and have previously looked after family and friends dogs too as my day job (environmental economist) is 100% remote from home. This means I am always at home with my Golden doodle Briannah and would love to extend our hometo other dogs too either for day care or dog boarding. I enjoy an active life style and live in rural Dorrington within a short walk from an open field and countryside with plenty of opportunities for dogs to exercise on or off the lead. As explained in my bio I work from home so I am typically always in the house during a normal working day. I walk my dog twice a day morning and evening where we go to the nearby field and play fetch or go for a country walk in the surrounding public footpaths. However I can accommodate 3 walks a day if that is what your dog is used to. We have a decent sized fenced garden and I let my dog go out as much as she wants to and I would do the same for yours. If he or she likes company I can set up their dog bed in my study and they can be by my side at all times. As I explained the garden is a good size (around 90m2) and is fenced so there is no way out. I am happy to walk off lead at your recommendation particularly if they like to play fetch but would keep them on the lead otherwise. We have 3 children age ranges 0 to 9 and my older two love to see new dogs and will typically get me to ask if we may pet them whilst we are out and about. As we have a cat dogs who are used to them are preferred. Either way my cat will typically hide at first as she did when we got our dog but with time she learns to trust them.

“Louis was absolutely brilliant. He helped us out with a sit at very short notice and was really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and you could tell he really loves dogs. Stanley was very happy and we'll definitely be booking again”

About: Now experienced dog sitters, Louke and I have both grown up with dogs. At the moment as well as our own dog, Pacey (a rescue Border Collie x Retriever) we also have ‘shared custody’ of Louke’s parents’ Lab Retriever, Oli. We regularly look after our family dogs, which range from Frenchie to Shitzu to Labradoodle. We’ve experience with dogs of all sizes and had dogs from a pup so we’re capable with training too. We understand from having our own anxious boy how hard it can be finding trustworthy sitters who treat your dog like their own, but that is definitely what we will do. We’re happy to continue any training needs your dog may have and have experience with dogs of all ages. I’m very outdoorsy so love going on long walks - my favourite local spot is Nescliffe Hill, but also love an afternoon on the Long Mynd. Louke is at home full time and available to do additional dog walking services, and I work in a hybrid role working from home some days of the week, so we have a great schedule for caring for your four-legged friends. We only have a maximum of five dogs at a time, including our own dog Pacey. We have a walled garden for playing, and some nice spots locally to our home for walks, but will also be taking them out in the car (provided you are comfortable with this) for longer walks. As mentioned above, we have our dog Pacey living with us full time and Oli once or twice a fortnight, and they’re both very easy-going and friendly so plenty of opportunity for your dogs to socialise.

I have been on Rover for 2 years caring for over 20 dogs and 2 cats. I'm excited to look after your dogs / cats. I enjoy hiking, walking and love the outdoors. There are many beautiful parks and nature reserves that I regularly walk near to my house. I'd love to have a pawbuddy to walk and play in the open fields together. I always put lots of love and attention into my walking and sitting. I enjoy keeping my furry friends company, playing with them and give lots of cuddles! I will treat them as my own furbabies. I look forward to hearing from you and looking after your pets while you're busy/away 💙 I am now working. About: Personalized Care: I would pay close attention to each pet's unique needs, routines, and preferences, making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you're away. Experience with Puppies: I'm well-versed in puppy care, including basic training and establishing good habits from the start. I could assist with potty training, crate training, and socialization, ensuring your puppy grows up well-behaved and happy. Senior Pet Care: I have experience working with senior pets and would be extra gentle, patient, and mindful of their specific needs. Whether it's administering medication, providing mobility assistance, or just offering lots of extra TLC, I would ensure they remain comfortable and safe. Exercise & Mental Stimulation: I understand how important it is to keep pets engaged and active, especially for dogs. I’d provide stimulating walks, playtime, and even teach new tricks to keep them sharp. Daily Updates: I know how much peace of mind it gives pet owners to get regular updates. I’d send you pictures, videos, and messages about how your pet is doing, so you never have to worry. These qualities, combined with a true love for animals, would make me a sitter you'd trust! I currently work alternating shift patterns in the week, 6 am-2 pm/2 pm-10 pm. I am free around this pattern and free on the weekend too I have one blind Jack Russel x chiuaua. We have a fully secured fenced garden and a large lawn area for him to play in.
“Thank you so much for accommodating a last minute change of plans and walking Ernie today especially as it's freezing 🥶 Ernie looked like he had a lovely time and enjoyed his walk 😊”

About: I have had pets my entire life until my dog of over 16 years passed away in January 2025. I miss playing, walking, training and hanging out with him very much and truly understand how our pets are part of our families. I currently work from home full time 8:30am - 16:30pm. If I am boarding a pet, I would be able to provide regularly attention and toilet breaks during my working hours and exercise outside during my lunch breaks and after 16:30pm I have a good sized back garden. It has a poor fence on one side but if that would be a concern, I can use a leash or walk the dog to a local park 5mins away. Always happy to play with and train dogs during the day for physical and mental exercise as well
About: I have had dogs all my life, I am definitely more of an animal person, than a person person. Dogs and walking are 2 of my main passions, so to be able to combine the two makes me very happy. I have been dog walking for friends for about a year now, so I thought I would offer my services to other people too. I work full time at a restaurant, but when I'm not there, I am out with my labrador, Penny, finding new places to explore. I will do whatever it takes to make you and your pup as happy as possible. I always have treats in my bag, and I love playtime.

I love getting my steps in, always walking every where. I have a fenced garden. 6ft high. Plenty of poo bags. Baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. Water bowls always filled. Of course a treat box when required!
“My dog does not really like strangers much and it takes him time getting familiar with a new person but he immediately warmed up to Sam! Sam also was clearly knowledgeable about dog behaviour, especially dogs with reactivity. Looking forward to more walks.”

“Zoe can sometimes be a little distant when first getting to know someone but took to Jessica right away, so I had no concerns with leaving her and she really seemed to enjoy her walk. You can clearly see that Jessica has a love for animals and I'm sure Zoe picked up on that.”

About: I have been around dogs and cats all my life and am happiest when taking care of them. So much so I have pursued a career as a veterinary nurse! My skills as a nurse mean I am great at understanding your pets' behaviour and can fulfill any medication requirements they may have. I live away from my own pets so I miss spending quality time with animals and I can't wait to meet yours! As well as my experience at work and with my own pack, I have cared for my friend's pets several times. I love going on long walks so if you have an active dog, I would be delighted to take them on some adventures too. I aim to work around you and your pet's schedule as much as possible so please don't hesitate to let me know what you are looking for. However, I do work full time so please be aware I will usually not be able to be with your pet full time on weekdays. I can still do house sits for pets that do not need regular walks/toilet breaks. I am available most weekends and bank holidays and would love to keep your pet company while you enjoy a holiday! I know it can be strange for pets to be away from you so I am dedicated to keeping life as normal and relaxed for them as possible by following their normal routine in their own home. I hope to work with you to follow whatever exercise routine is best for your pup; whether they enjoy high energy exercise or prefer to just have a potter round the garden.

“Carlos is amazing. He’s reasonably priced, super reliable and very friendly. I was worried about leaving my dog as she has bad separation anxiety but she had a great time with the whole family and his dog. 10/10 would recommend and will be using again in the future.”

“Sarah and Stan made Holly feel really at home. Holly is not away from home very often, but Sarah went the extra mile to make sure she settled in. The photos and pupdates were lovely and reassured us that she was happy and well looked after. We will definitely book her in again.”

“If I could give 100 out of 5 I would!! Tracy and Seb are amazing!! They are so warm and friendly and they loved our Lewi like their own.
